Often times, lot of people can not simply differentiate what a house is from a home. The home does not primarily mean a place where you have your immediate family members dwell and a place to rest after a long busy day.

The home is that place where you feel connected, free, comfortable and safe. The home is that place where it feels like paradise without everything being luxurious. That space where everything compliments each other and exudes calmness, purity and relaxation.

Every furniture pieces must compliment each other and must be very useful, the fabrics, rugs and drapery must add softness, visually and physically.

Every good room must have a focal point, this may be an accent wall, a wall frame, artificial lighting, architecture feature, an artwork or even the view of that space. Let an impact be created.

The home must be clean, tidy, friendly and comfortable. Every trendy pieces should not be welcomed in your home, pick a few of those item and interpret in your own way, thereby recreating and making it feel refined.

Your chose of color must be thought out well. Every colors have a way of how they affect the human mood. This chose must cut across every element in your space.

Finally, a sense of you must be represented in your space. Its all about how you want to feel in your space and how your personality blends with it and tells a lot about.

How to Keep Spiders Out of Your Bed!

Spiders are often found in and around our home. If you have been bitten by spider in your sleep or you have a lot of cobweb around your bed, its time you find possible way of reducing them to the barest minimum, because it can't ultimately be removed.
Spider bites ranges in ways, it could be minor or become very serious. Findings to keep them out of your bed us the way forward and this can done with the following steps

Spiders and bugs hangs on the way, and if you have your bed by the wall, move it away because it may crawl on your bed from the wall.

If you use under your bed as storage, its time to clear it and move them somewhere else. A place clustered with stuff can attract spiders and make them hide there and a clear area under the bed becomes less attractive to them.

Hang your clothes and shoes far away from the bed, this significantly reduces places for this spider to hide.

The use of insecticide occasionally should be welcome so they they don't very comfortable in your space.

Keep your room clean at all times. Sweep any dead insect you find in your room, this attracts them to spiders because they are source of food to them.

There is a certain design that comes to mind when you here the word bachelor apartment. The word tends to evoke pictures like giant entertainment accessories like the LED TV, home theater etc, leather sofas, classy dinning area, lounge chairs and a fully stocked bar. However the men in this century tends to prove to us all that living solo does not mean forsaking a well designed and furnished home.

I have been able to gather pictures of great and amazing designs that combines both a contemporary and a traditional design put together. These modern design is full of ideas to help you create a stylish and an ultimate design for a bachelor. These goes for whether you are living a single life or you what your home to speak about you, to look like you are.

In the living room comfortable is the word. This beautiful living room is made of great pieces that suits up this space, It includes a cocktail table by Jean Prouve, a Stilnovo floor lamp, a Dunbar sofa in velvet color, an Ox chair, a daybed, a carpet and pillows that are covered in antique Caucasian textiles. There are so many places to sit to give room to relax with friends and drink beer while enjoying sport games.

Moreover a single man always like to imprint his signature, personality, style and saint in his space, this can also be more identified in his bedroom. He makes it very simple, creative and uses dark colors or neutrals colors to emanate masculinity.

The kitchen is not left out, but its not meant for cooking, its purpose is clear when you see that space for wine, beer and ice. However, its ensured that it is fully equipped, so that when they decided to commit a woman, all is available for use and can be utilized at its maximum.

Babies are the best and priceless gift one could have on earth, they bring joy to our homes and build bonds between parents and family, hence it is very importance we pay attention to where they will be nurtured when they are welcomed to mother earth.

The baby nursery is one importance part of a home that must be created and carefully designed. Attention is given to how large the space should be, to the cradle, lightnings, accessories and a whole lot. Good memories could be created that would last forever, hence its of a great idea that the baby nursery.

Living Room In Neutral colors

This a picture of a classy and pristine well designed living room. I love the arrangement and the combo of neutral colours. Emphasis is on the wall opposite the sofa, designed in wooden pieces and accessories well arranged and also used as a bookshelf.

The center table gave a lift to the simple arrangement because it is unique and different from a regular center table. The Lamb on the right is a great decor and stylish for today modern homes.

This is a very attractive space with a combination of over three colours standing out and add its great effect to the space.

The living room has always been my favourite space in the home and when I spot a well designed one, I cannot help but appreciate it.

This space is made up of two pieces of a doubled seated great sofa, accentuated with nicely picked bright/colourful throw pillows to blend with it.

The metallic centre table gave a lift to that arrangement, it does not appear as a regular table, one of its purpose is to bring emphasis to where its positioned.

This is simple but yet stylish, giving it that cozy feeling.

Which other piece do you appreciate in in this space.. There are a whole lot to love in this design. I simply like to know who feels same way I do concerning this design.

The Fluttua Bed - Floating Bed!

The Fluttua Bed is the world's first suspended bed in the air, which is supported by a single leg and from record, it defies the forces of gravity. Its design gives shape to the lightness of dreams.

The fluttua bed has no frame surrounding it, hence you can save a lot of space and you can freely move around it without fear of knocking a wooden frame and every inch of the bed is reserved for rest.

It is very easy to clean under the bed since there are no corners, it only has a single supporting leg.

Sleeping suspended in the air gives you an amazing feeling because it makes you enjoy your sleep while floating in the air, moreover it has an optional light under the bed (base) that gives the atmosphere a magical feel creating your dream bedroom.

Its available in two shape, the rectangular and round shape.

This bed can support two individuals weighing up to 140 kg each while laying on the bed or two individuals weighing up to 120 kg each while been seated on the edges.

This photo took my full attention the moment I saw it. The golden brown combo brought boldness to the room.

From the furniture to the curtain, centre table, throw pillows, center rug to the wall had came in brown colour and it accentuated the room.

Arrangement is one key thing that thrills me when I see how all piece and element unite. That was also achieved.

I am really so in love with this space, and I commend the Interior designer on a well great job.

From an Interior designer point of view, I conclude that this spaces is balanced, there is rhythm, emphasis is not under looked and hence there is harmony in that gorgeous space.

How many of you are lovers of the white colour, you prefer to have a touch of this colour within your possession.

The white colours defines purity, class, neatness, sophistication and many more. Its lifts up the room and with the introduction of natural, it illuminates the room giving it a fresh look.

The white colour accommodates all shades of colour making it top 1 one of all. Its achieves a great combo when used.

White is actually not my favourite but its a beautiful one and I tend to have a touch of it in almost all my designs.

Living rooms are always the main space we occupy more before bedtime, hence it always advisable to make it feel homely, exciting, inviting and finally neat.

The living room should also be able to define how you love to feel on a daily basics. The furniture's, entertainment units, home decors and other accessories should harmonize.

Arrangement should be superb, and not to forgot that how well every piece is arranged can also determine how we move freely and also how we can have access to stuff.

Elegant Living Room

Upon taking a close look at this space, I am pleased with how it was designed. Attention was paid in the space, because all basic element of interior design where peoperly applied.

Sectional sofa was well picked for the space, the floor finishing would easily get your attention, the accentuated wall in cream colour with lovely wall frame is catchy. Good lighting was welcomed, giving it that sparkling feel. Most importantly the colour used is a great combo.

Truly I must say this is a harmonious space and it would give you this calming effect when you occupy it.

This looks so divine and classy. I don't know how I can describe this living room in few words because it speaks for itself. The accent wall, ceiling, floor finishing is just one in a kind. I like the colour combination of gold and choc brown on the floor. Every piece in this room compliment each other. I give kudos to the Interior Designer behind this design.

The Bedroom

We move attention from the Living room down to the Bedroom. We spend time in the bedroom as much as we do in the living room. However the bedroom is a place we need to rest, relax, sleep and have some privacy. Hence it should be comfy, warm and relaxed. I love this one, & most espcecially the light. It changed the appearance because of its illumination. The throw pillows are also there to cuddle. The colours and arrangement is awesome.
