He Would Never Resign Despite the Crime

We are now seeing increasing numbers of Republicans to call on the president to resign. This seems like it's a tailor made moment for that to happen. We saw with Richard Nixon. You have to go once the Impeachment Resolution is past. We're heading towards that moment or is this just a completely different time? There is no one who Trump listens to. Nixon at least listened to Jim Baker. Trump is fundamentally different than Richard Nixon. In his farewell address in 1974 Richard Nixon said, " I'm not a quitter but I have to put the country first." That is not fundamentally who Donald Trump is or else we would've had January 6th.

He cited an Insurrection against the Legislative Branch. Mind you our Declaration of Independence was to overthrow a tyrant who incited a domestic insurrection amongst us, is what it said. Our entire Constitution is built to prevent tyranny from the Executive Branch against our seat of government. Therefore, this is an impeachable offense. I don't know what is if the President tells folks to attack our lawmakers and that is exactly what he did do.

but the idea that Donald Trump at this point will be convinced to resign by anyone in the Republican Party is a pipe dream since Trump never ever admits to any wrongdoing. He was the one telling folks in that crowd to go after his own Vice President. He continued to do so as his Vice President was in danger in the Capital as they chanted, " Hang Mike Pence!". it is disgusting but I don't think this President is doing well.

Richard Nixon did the right thing and resigned which is somewhat funny because we consider Richard Nixon to be most likely the worst president of the 20th century. Donald Trump is making Richard Nixon look like a statesman compared to al the disgusting things Trump has been involved in.

On January 20th Joe Biden will in fact become our next President. He won the election in real votes by 7 million more Americans than Trump. He won the Electoral College votes by 74 more votes than Trump. We have listened to Trump’s hatred of every other candidate for over 4 years. We heard every insult and slander of his for far too long. We just saw him tell his faithful followers to take by force and try to kill all our elected officials in government. Treason like no other President ever in history.

The corruption lies with Trump who has been a corrupt mob boss all his life. He bankrupted all his businesses and now has bankrupted America giving us the highest deficit ever in history. Trump stole from his closed down Foundation since he stole funds from there for his self-profiteering. Biden has never been under investigation for any corruption.
Trump  is the Liar-In- Chief. Just read the over 20,000 documented lies of his in our National Registry of Presidential Quotes. Trump clearly is suffering from mental illnesses since 350 mental health professionals have sent letters to Congress documenting  the fact that he is a danger to America.
What makes Donald Trump so dangerous is the brittleness of his sense of worth. Any slight or criticism is experienced as a humiliation and degradation. To cope with the resultant hollow and empty feeling, he reacts with what is referred to as narcissistic rage. That is exactly what he made his followers do when they tore up the Capitol and killed folks. 

There is no proof or medical reports indicating any form of dementia with Biden. Biden has ben a true Patriot for the past 47 years for America. He is educated and experienced to lead this great country. Trump has no experience or qualifications to govern and it shows. In just 4 years he has ruined the lives of all Americans. Trump is the only president in history to lose jobs. We have an economy in free fall because of his lying botched response to the virus. Trump deregulated clean air and water protections. He defunded and derailed education. Trump tore up the nuclear deal which was working. Ruined our relationships all over the world He packed the courts with religious fanatics and conspiracy theorists and was promising to defund social security and Medicare after taking healthcare away from millions just so his rich donors could save a few bucks. 

VP Biden in conjunction with Obama did much to save this country from the disaster Bush left us starting with the Recession despite the constant opposition from a Republican dominated House and Senate. The “arrogant” SOB in the White House Middle East Peace Accord only brokered more money for Israel. He did it to appeal to his equally unqualified very Jewish Son-In Law in our Government who also decided to build a new tax paid expensive Embassy there leaving the Palestinians very angry. Biden will now have to un do all the damage Trump has done to 8 Middle East Countries with his unfounded Muslim ban. 

The “buffoon” in the White House still has increased troops in the Middle East, has ignored the attacks by the Russians putting bounties on our soldiers lives, attacks on our cyber forums, ignored nuclear bombing by North Korea ignored the advances on democracy in Hong Kong. He has alienated all our allies worldwide. 

The ‘fool” in the Whiter House stopped our intervention in policing the nuclear powers of North Korea and Iran so that now we don’t even know about the bombs they are pointing at us any longer. 

The “xenophobe” in the White House doesn’t realize that we live in a global society and never built up manufacturing in America before he closed down trade with China. His tariffs only hurt Americans since we pay for the increased costs for goods. Our economy is destroyed because he ignored the Covid-19 disease from China too. 

The”clown” in the White House hastily appointed unqualified judges and Conservative Supreme Court Judges packing the courts with his own interests to have judicial support to cover up his endless crimes. He was once pro-choice and turned pro-life just to appeal to Cristian Conservative voters. He could care less about any woman or child since he cheated on all his wives while married with infant children at home. He associates with pedophiles. 

The only taxes he lowered was for the top 1% rich buddies. As a result millionaires turned into billionaires since they took their tax gains and bought more of their stocks for themselves. The clown is solely responsible for 350,000 dead Americans who called the Trump Deadly Disease a hoax, ingest bleach, it would just go away, herd immunity killings. Our way of life is completely destroyed because of his inexperience or care to govern. 

Biden and Obama kept Sars and Ebola off our shores. Trump fired our CDC Workers worldwide to fund his stupid wall that he also lied and said Mexico would pay for. Trump should be jailed for Crimes Against Humanity for his negligence to protect and serve Americans. Trump killed our Veterans with his Fema paid Hydro pills that he self- profited from. His Government shut down only failed to pay our Military wages. Most of our budget goes to wasteful military spending. 

He is doing nothing for free. He spends all his time at his for personal profit golf resorts with the tax payers paying for every meal and service. His useless government paid daughter and son -in-law are billionaires since they profited from trademark deals and patents achieved from government international deals. Trump is an ignorant fool super spreader of disease who has politicalized the saftyness of simply wearing a mask. He has done nothing to curb the spread of the disease and even turned his own carelessness into a spectacle of pompousness as hundreds of thousands of Americans die daily unable to obtain the best of free care he gets. 

Hunter is alive and well. Where is Don Jr. not raising his 5 kids? If you want a disaster you got him in Trump and he has ruined the unity safety health and wealth of what was once a fine country. The world saw it all from the angry speech to the death and destruction of our beautiful nation's Capitol building to our treasured law makers hiding like fugitives from the crazed stupid Trump Terrorists wanting to kill everyone? Did he really think he would achieve his so very desired Kingship this way ? This is what happens when you give the mentally ill ultimate power.

Americans are dead after the Insurrection attack on our nations Capitol. Federal prosecutors need to look at everyone involved including President Trump, his son , lawyer Rudy and others who in speeches told the angry mob to do death and destruction upon our lawmakers and sacred Republic property. Already Trump's corrupt Department of Justice head said he would only press terrorist felony charges against the dozens of folks already identified that illegally stormed the building but no charges against the cult leaders. Hopefully our new President Biden and his new head of the DOJ will do justice and convict all involved in this crime.

As soon as Donald becomes citizen Trump again he should be facing an assortment of charges for allowing this act of terrorism to occur with his blessing on our nation. Charges of Inciting a Riot, Sedition, Destruction of Federal Property and allowing the Entering the Capitol Grounds Without Proper Authorization. The best evidence of his crimes is him in his own words saying, "Remember this day. You are very special. We love you." Don Jr, said, "Stand Up and hold your Representatives Accountable. " Rudy said, "Have trial by Combat". They said, "Today is the day we start taking things down and kicking some ass" These terrorists threats as our lawmakers are doing the roll call with the final definition that Joe Biden is our new President.

Trump in his final hours still doesn't know that his job is to faithfully execute the law as the Head of the Executive Branch of Government. He was to see the smooth transition of government powers instead he staged a coup to take over our government that clearly failed. In January 2020 some guy came here from China breathing. His breath proved to be deadly and spreading disease fast across America.

In February we were consumed with the Impeachment of Donald Trump who was Impeached but not removed since the Republican Senate decided not to put him on trial, no witnesses and no documents presented so he never left despite his crimes. He eventually was acquitted of the charges of abuse of power and obstruction of justice.

In March the World Health Organization declared the Covid-19 disease a global pandemic. The 2020 Olympics was officially postponed.

In April protests over the disease was everywhere. Folks who wanted to stay alive and wear masks were fighting with those who thought their rights were being infringed upon over a safety measure. Militias took to the State Capitol threatening the life of the Governor there in Michigan.

In May the Black Lives Matter Movement took over the world after countless suffering and injustices were being made known against black people suspected of crimes giving them death instead of trials.

In June a peaceful protest was broken up near the White House where Trump emerged hiding behind our military forces who attacked the very citizens they swore to protect so he could have a photo opportunity to hold up a Bible for some reason.

In July we tried to have some normalcy when Major League Baseball emerged with cut out cardboard figures instead of folks in the stands.

In August Hurricane Laura slammed into the Louisiana coast line. One of twelve horrific storms to reach our shores.

In September we saw our highest court change quickly after the death of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg. In just three years Trump quickly appointed three young Republican conservative justices.

In October Covid -19 spread to the White House infecting our President and at least 28 of his closest advisors including the Vice-President , his wife and his child.

In November we voted and Joe Biden won. Trump still disagrees. He tried to overturn the results both in the courts and countless re-counts.

At least here we are in the end of December with some positive results with various vaccines trying to be dispersed among the population despite how slow and despite 330,000 of us have died. I take that back. Still not so good news. The new year has to be better than this one.

If you are still alive in 2020 be grateful

We all need some gratitude especially after we got all our gifts in this gift giving season of the year. Tis the season to be thankful. It is all about your attitude. They say, count your blessings. How do you do that? I was counting how many drinks everyone was having, you know just to protect the citizens of America from the drunks pretending to be happy.

We know we should be grateful for new stuff but we should be grateful for the kind notes in greeting cards sent and for the little things like a young child staring up at the wonder of a Christmas tree with its unusual lights going in and out in patterns.

During the holidays it is easy to forget to be grateful. Dealing with in-laws, Christmas sweaters, and Secret Santa extortion funds, Hanukah lists and the exhausting ritual of baking those wonderful desserts and cookies that you only dare to make once a year. The battle to then try to resist those special cookies. When they make the sugar cookies in the shapes of an angel, I can’t resist just biting the head off of that angel cookie.

It is really easy to forget to be grateful once the Santas with their bells go away and the store shelves are empty without any Christmas junk to buy. How can we make gratitude last? There have been some studies performed on the subject. One was called. “Counting Blessings Versus Burdens: An Experimental Investigation of Gratitude and Subjective Well-Being in Daily Life.”

The study found that being grateful has sound physiological and emotional benefits. One study asked people to keep a journal for 10 weeks. One group were to describe 5 things they were grateful for each week. One group wrote down their hassles and a third group were told to write down 5 things that affected them but not to dwell on the positive or the negative.

The gratitude group emerged from the study 25% happier than the other groups. They were in better health and averaged an hour and a half more exercise than the griping group. Well, then most of America is overweight and not happy. Yes, somehow we need to be grateful for something for our health too.

Appreciation can be contagious. Their spouses noticed their happiness as well. Or maybe the spouses were just noticing how great their partner’s asses were looking from the extra workouts at the gym we once were able to attend before Covid.

Thankfulness is also a anti-depressant. According to another psychological study, clinically depressed people demonstrate about 50% less gratitude than people that are feeling fine. A Thank You a day just might keep the Prozac away! This is not fairy tales and wishes, this is neuroscience!

Perhaps it was a scientist that captured the spirit of gratitude the best. It was Einstein that said, “There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle.” So, lets take note of the miracles in your lives. The new baby someone you know just had, the soldier that just came home and has his or her brain and arms and legs still, or the miracle that you survived the holiday without fighting with a relative you haven’t seen lately for some reason. More than anything else this Christmas morning be thankful that you even woke up today and are not one of the 320,000 dead folks in this country due to the reckless spread of disease during this pandemic.

Yes, it is Christmas. Over the next 2 days hopefully you will be doing something different from your ordinary lives like visiting someone or lucky enough that someone wants to visit you. Ops we are in the middle of the deadliest pandemic so we can't do the visiting thing. Share a special meal with someone and give a gift. Well this year that involves a lot of social distancing. A day to do something special and reflect on your life, look around you and be glad that who you are with still wants to be with you. Well this year just be glad if those you love are still alive. A time to feel good. Be glad that your house didn’t get destroyed in some recent storm, burn down to the ground in a uncontrolled forest fire. or that that little child you are looking at is still alive to grow.

I know that this sounds like Thanksgiving talk but it is also about donating money to your favorite charity time. Just look in your mail box. Most letters even come with check off boxes asking for a specific amount of money for you to donate to a large charity where as much as 75% of your donation can go to administrative costs. There are many people that work for charities that make a very good six figure income from your donation.

I like the way this guy donates to people. Recently there have been sightings of a Secret Santa in the Staten Island area of New York near where many people have lost much of their belongings due to loss of jobs recently. He is Santa because he gives money away. Secret because he really does not want his identity to be made public. When you get involved in a large charity there are forms to be filled out with them wanting to know a lot of personal information.

The people hit hard by recent tragedies have no interest in celebrating Christmas this year partly because they have either no house to decorate or no decorations in the house. The people of Staten Island were once so down in spirit they hated that they were selling Christmas trees in the neighborhood. They should be selling contracts for someone to repair or rebuild their homes right there with their insurance agent.

Secret Santa is there. He wears a red and black The Northern Face fleece and a red hat. Ok well maybe that is what the modern day Santa suit is supposed to look like. He will not let reporters reveal his face on camera but he will reveal that he is a wealthy businessman from Missouri.

Every December he goes to the cities and towns in America he thinks need him most. So it is something like Santa who reads his list twice to make sure he delivers his packages to the right places too. He then gives away hundred dollar bills. About $100,000 dollars worth per season. All to random strangers he finds in thrift stores, Laundromats and soup kitchens.

A lot of these people haven’t even ever seen a hundred dollar bill. They are dirt poor and often don’t even know where there is a charity to ask for a donation. That involves a lot of administrative form filling out with restrictions of how you can even collect a donation. Yup. Those people running the charities really earn their salaries. NOT. The joy he feels in getting that hug after giving some money directly in the hand of someone in need is instant gratification. Well we can't hug during this pandemic. The miracle of a total stranger walking up to you and handing you money is like a dream come true to the people in need.

When asked, “What are you going to do with that money?” the usual answer is to go buy food or to share it with other family members that need cash. No selfishness there. Some frame the money in a picture frame because it represents the kindness more than a little lift.

Hope is what he gives out. Hope that things will change for the better soon and that the people who get the money will snap out of their sadness and look forward to a new life. He happened to find someone in a Salvation Army store who lost her entire home in a storm. He gave her $300. Yes any hundred is nothing when it takes thousands of dollars just to have the basics in life. Santas are there to make us smile a bit and have that moment of comfort that everything is going to be ok. Be ok this Christmas Eve!

Big Bad Barr has Resigned

He was the head of the Justice Department a job to be independent of politics but Barr never was. We can attribute all of America's failures over the past few years to William Barr who simply was a agent to promote Trump no matter what crimes he did. To resign now that Trump lost his re-election says it all. His job is done. We could have gotten rid of Trump after the very long Mueller Investigation and 300,000 Americans would still be alive but Barr decided that Trump did not Obstruct Justice despite the many counts of clear evidence.

Barr continually lied for Trump and was continually complicit. Barr tried to throw out the criminal case against Trump's National Security Advisor Mike Flynn who is now a convicted felon. Barr intervened in the case against Trump long time friend Roger Stone who continually lied under oath and got him a substantially reduced sentence for his crimes. He showed a extreme show of force against protestors having armed soldiers with no name tags attacking peaceful protestors. He attacked the mail in vote process with exaggerated claims of voter fraud. Even in his resignation letter he claims somehow that voter election fraud will be pursued even though he won't have the authority to be Trump's henchman any longer. Barr was Bad.

His resignation is good for America. The sadness is for the many good career prosecutors who left serving our government after each and every Trump infused decision he made to free his friends . We look forward to a President who will actually protect the rule of law and not the special interests of himself like mobster Trump does continually. Deputy Attorney General Jeff Rosen will lead the Department of Justice following Barr's departure. This guy has NO criminal experience at all. He has no experience in running the department. He is a friend of Barr. He has no respect for the rule of law either. Rosen changed the location of where convicted felon Manifort, Trump's Campaign director would be housed to avoid State custody. Yes special favors for Trump's buddies.

The month couldn't pass any faster for Biden to be in charge and erase all these criminals from our government. The Autocracy of Trumpism must stop and seeing Barr resign is a very good step in the right direction to normalcy in our Democracy.

Vaccines are here maybe?

Yes we saw the trucks and planes being loaded up with that precious life saving cargo but questions still remain from all sides. Who will get it. When, Where What vaccine since others are on the verge of approvals too. There are the anti-vaccers that just refuse to take it and the miss-informed Republicans that still say Why take it since they still refuse to wear a simple mask. The young fertile women are frightened since it was never tested on pregnant women. And then there is still the knowledge that only 1/3 rd of the population will be vaccinated by March of those willing and waiting to get the life saving vaccine. How did we get into this mess?

The groups most likely to be vaccine resistant are varied. According to a Kaiser Family Foundation Poll 49% of Republicans won't take the vaccine. 36% of folks ages 30-49 don't care. 35% of rural residents won't even find a location for a vaccine and 35% of Black adults won't even be informed. What happened that Americans can't agree on anything much anymore? We used to be United in Crisis but then we didn't have Trump confusing everything with his miss-information campaigns all year long.

How can we ever forget that he called the deadly disease he spread across the United States a hoax? Doctor Atlas from the White House Virus Task Force consistently downplayed the severity of the epidemic attributing it to other causes, said it would just go away in the summer, the fake herd immunity and the general White House just plain bad information campaign. We all are worried about the possible emergence of side effects since it is the only vaccine developed in just one year in all of history.

Our creator has humans having the ability to remember things as far back as our early childhood but we can not predict a single moment into our actual future so we are always skeptics and cautious. We have a new President who has hired only scientists and educated doctors to head his information squad. Hopefully we can move forward with one goal into the future to end this disease and lead productive happy lives once again. Right now we are just fearful of being able to live just one more day. Hope is eternal.

All year long we have had little more than total sadness over pick any subject you want. It has been all sad. Even the election that gave us real change had to be surrounded with sadness over the prospect of that really being true and a welcomed change in our dreary lives. The vaccine is here but is it safe? Do we even have to be sad over the only hope to save the human race at this point? I don't remember being this sad over anything just four years ago. Are we just selfish to miss the people, the fun the events? Not selfish to miss toilet paper. We need that!

You can't even pray to God anymore since our religious leaders are wacky too. Priests are still covering up their pedophilia. Evangelists are greedy bastards filthy rich always asking their poor followers for money. Religious leaders spew hate and division and total devotion to Trump who has embodied all seven of the Deadly Sins. So I pray and am thankful to the sun that rises daily so I must too. Grateful to the beautiful trees that are left standing that escaped the uncontrollable wildfires that destroyed everything. Relieved that America has not gone to war with Iran and that was even before the Covid virus exploded across the country and worldwide.

What followed is unemployment, evictions, need to pay for expensive food, poverty. Hate towards each other. Death happening to good folks like John Lewis and Ruth Bader Ginsberg. Even the Black Panther hero died Chadwick Boseman at a young age. Enough already! We lost sanity. Saw protests, discrimination, division, hate speech, police brutality. stupid hillbillies arming themselves with weapons threatening our good lawmakers. The Governor had her life threatened in the state where she is making sure the Pfizer vaccines are being safely distributed right now.

What happens in 2021 depends on us. What we say and what we do. How we can repair the damage to all our lives and restore life before we can even make life better. Try!!!!!

He lost the election. He lost the lawsuits and now he lost the Supreme Court in all his efforts to deny that he lost. The Trump campaign never stopped campaigning. They had a series of meritless litigations. When that failed, it turned to state legislatures to overturn the clear election results. Upon that failure, Texas turned to the Supreme Court to overturn the election results of more than 10% of the country. The corrupt Attorney General of Texas who is now soon to be arrested for his crimes by the Justice Department sought to decimate the electorate of the United States.

Texas's effort to get the Supreme Court to pick the next President has no basis in law or fact. The Court should not abide the seditious abuse of the judicial process, and should send a clear and unmistakable signal that such abuse must never be replicated. Yes, our Supreme Court with six Conservatives three of which Trump appointed out of the nine total Justices will not tolerate him dictating the rule of law based on our Constitution. Lawyers spend most of their time in law school studying the Constitution for a real reason.

As 7,000 Americans died from Covid in just two days, on those two days Trump held parties on the taxpayers dime to wine and dine maskless 100 Republican members of Congress and 18 Republican state representatives wishing and counting on the Supreme Court to throw the votes in the trash in multiple swing states. The corruption is rampart in our government with King Trump demanding that he be honored no matter what. Do you think he realizes that he is in America and not a Dictatorship? Too bad he is too ignorant to respect the laws of this land that he was honored to be the leader of for four long years that tried to shatter our Democracy in so many ways all the time. Our American government will provide Covid-19 Vaccines FREE TO ALL. The government plans to allot the vaccines to the States according to their populations. The CDC plans to give it to medical workers and older folks first meanwhile after nine months of this deadly disease spread there are hospital overworked workers who still haven't even gotten tested yet but the sports stars on teams have gotten tested three times a day getting billions of dollars in tests and care. This is a massive effort since it will require billions of vaccines to be distributed and hopefully by Spring 2021 it will be available to anyone who wants to have it. But the vaccine is not a magic cure. We all will still have to wear masks, distance and test till our death rates and hospitalizations decrease.

How will we be able to get this nation to agree on anything any longer since we are so divided? With Trump gone and his anti-mask policies gone soon, hopefully safety and sensibility will become the norm but Americans are fighters. Too bad we are fighting each other. How are we going to convince us all to take a vaccine when there are those who don't want the government to tell them what to do even if it is a free product? Folks do not trust pharmaceutical companies and the fact remains it is soo soon that we just don't know the long term effects of this free vaccine. He lost sight of the fact that immigrants are the fabric of this nation that holds us all together with our various skills and attributes.

One quarter of all businesses in America are founded by immigrants. 45% of the founders of billion dollar tech start-up companies in America are founded by immigrants. In silicon valley 6 out of every computer teck workers were born abroad. So as the pandemic requires us to stay more indoors for the safety of our lives, thank a immigrant since we are leaning more and more on foreign born innovation to make our lives easier ordering just about everything we need from our phones delivered right to our doors if necessary.

We order food from Door Dash or Google or the nearest store site. If you work on Zoom or connect with your friends on certain media sites you are using technology created by an immigrant. It is not just in technology but the pandemic has highlighted our reliance on immigrants from the science innovation sector too. Analysis by the Migration Policy Institute found that immigrants in the American workforce by share of workers in select professions is significant. 40% are our home aides, 30% of immigrants are physicians, 25% are pharmacists yet foreign born workers only make up 20% of Americans.

The numbers of those folks jumps to 55% of folks in America. 75% of immigrants work in jobs that the Federal Government describes as essential workers during this pandemic.

There are still may things we do NOT know about any virus vaccine emerging. Hoe long does this vaccine last? Is it fully safe for everyone? Experts don’t think it protects against infection either. So they are not looking at prevention of infections. They are looking for prevention of symptoms. So these are big unanswered questions that still need to be answered before everyone gets all excited over that magic shot in the arm.

We don’t know how many people are going to use a vaccine since we can’t even convince folks to wear a mask. I’m sure our military will be able to get this vaccine to America but we can’t be sure that there won’t be confusion over its distribution since testing has been and still is a nightmare with lines everywhere to be tested and wait time sporadic. For results. Who is going to get it? How are they going to get it and where are they going to get it? Without a national mandate it will be a continued mess. Looking at this election we saw the progressive incumbent in swing districts overwhelmingly won re-election. Every incumbent that supported Medicare for all kept their seat in a swing district. The progressive ideas or socialist ideas won convincing victories across the country including in purple and red states. Voters in Florida passed a $15 dollar minimum wage. Four states legalized marijuana. Polls taken suggests that a majority of Americans support a higher minimum wage, paid maternity leave, funding for childcare, tuition free college. America has spoken and does not support Trump's right wing agenda.

Biden submitted a list of his appointments to his cabinet and White House team. It is refreshing that there is NOT a relative among them. No daughter or son-in-law taking tax paid salaries like Trump did. There is not a white supremist among them. He has a diverse professional assortment of color. Black, a Dominican woman, the grand daughter of Cesar Chavez, no one under investigation, no one who has ties to Russia or the Ukraine.

We must always remember that a Democratic Socialist is one who wishes the betterment of life for all with programs that we can all benefit from. We already have government paying for with our tax dollars GPS, roads, bridges police departments and fire departments. America is ready to have more services given to us now. Trump had Cuban Americans in fear of socialism leading them to believe that a Democrat President would be a Marxist Socialist like the evil dictators they fled with their military states in Cuba and Venezuela. Biden said he would only raise taxes on those who make more than $400,000 per year in order to pay for more democratic socialist programs that America just voted for.

Now, compounding his treasonous statements (and, by the way, keeping secret what he and Mr. Putin discussed behind closed doors), Mr. Trump announced that he had invited the Russian dictator to the White House in the fall.

It is disturbing that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo declared that Trump will be President again despite losing the election. He holds a Constitutional office by being fifth in line to the Presidency. If the mail in votes were counted first the landslide in some states wouldn't even be in question and the votes on election night would be even more of a win for Biden. Trump is attacking the swing vote states with Republican legislators expecting favors in December when the Electoral College votes will be finalized.

His sinister plan will be to send more legislators to the forum like Pennsylvania sending two legislators endorsed by the Secretary of State. The Republicans in Congress will say well we have two here , lets not count other states that Biden won more electoral college votes thus manipulating the votes so BIDEN WILL NOT ACHIEVE THE 270 NEEDED FOR THE WIN.

If Biden does not get that 270 votes to win then the election goes to the House of Representatives to decide not on the basis of a majority that Democrats have but on ONE VOTE PER STATE DELIGATION that smaller Republican led states have. There are about 27 Republican state legislators. The effort will be to muck up our Republic by these mobsters so that Biden will not get the 270 votes needed from Congress.

Hopefully this will be the unlikely scenario for America's future. A desperate attempt to alter the true results of our election but by judging all the criminal successes that Trump and his band of boy thugs have already gotten away with even to the Russian collusion and obstruction of Justice with the Russians in Hillary's election, they are energized to get away with their fraud and deception on our Democracy yet again. Will Dictator Donald somehow be triumphant again? Makes you feel downright sick. UGH

Be A Bear

This year with disease everywhere the best thing for our winter survival is to hibernate like a bear and stay indoors without much of any other human interaction just like the animal humans love to hunt and chase away everywhere too. Why do we hate bears so much? Instead we should be putting the predators on animal sanctuaries and studying them instead of wanting to kill them all the time. After all we are turning into bears for the winter hiding in our homes just getting fatter and more prone to fat people diseases too. Why don't bears get sick from sleeping indoors all winter long?

Bears like my husband have an enormous appetite and will eat to maintain their fat mass all winter long. But bears are healthy. We only have one research center in All of America that is studying bears in Washington State University. This dedicated bear research center have 11 bears on campus they study. They are studying the fact that bears eat a lot but don't get diabetes. Bears don't get heart disease. We need to study why. Can we learn from bears since humans eat a lot too but have no problem getting these life threatening diseases as of course we try to avoid Covid too?

A treatment for diabetes might be hidden in hibernation. Our metabolic rate can be altered too if we can isolate the genes that keep bears alive and fat. We should be spending more money on research instead of weapons or expensive temporary medications. Put some of that Space Force money into research since we want to send folks up into space for long periods of time hibernating in small space capsules. Being able to lower our metabolic rates by just a few percentage points would have a huge benefit to our well being if we just knew how those happy bears do it.

When humans lie around a lot we lose bone mass. Bears don't lose bone mass when they sleep all winter. Why not? Study them. Osteoporosis is a big human problem too. The researchers have found that the huge 500 plus pound bears will do just about anything for a large bowl of good old fashioned honey just like in the Whinny the Poo cartoon. Is honey the secret to their good health? So this holiday season forget the turkey cookies holiday goodies and leave me alone with a bottle of honey to drown my sorrows in over insane politics, protests disease, school closings , no sports or entertainment, no cruises and on and on. Try to hibernate happily till hopefully by spring we can emerge to a happier healthier place under President Biden's good old fashioned comforting leadership. Appreciate the bears and research them . Veterans Day

Today is Veterans Day and for most people we wouldn’t even know it until we tried to do our banking and realized that the banks are closed for the holiday. How do you celebrate this kind of holiday? Years ago after World War II we saw all those happy pictures of people cheering in the streets that the war was over. We saw the pictures of handsome rugged soldiers in their custom tailored dress military uniforms returning from the war kissing the first girl they could find in a sexy photograph knowing that there will be a lot more loving to come because back then your girl waited for you to return from the war and was there just to love you and make all the babies she wanted. It was romantic with hero's full of pride and valor.

We had a Presidential election that elected Trump who is a five time draft dodger. Who had a government shutdown who took the wages away from our Military but demanded they did continuous protection for our country. He didn't even hire a head of the Veterans Administration. He is taking away Pentagon Military Housing funds away to pay for a wall construction. He is privatizing healthcare for Veterans rather than give them the best benefits he himself enjoys especially since he carelessly gave himself Covid and got the best care available at $100,000 a dose of rare medication just for him. Yet he expected our faithful Veterans to vote for him again in an election that he just lost since he called our soldiers "suckers and losers.". Many of the Democratic candidates were Veterans who know what it is to serve this country putting their lives on the line for this country.

This administration is full of men who wear expensive suits and are all millionaires. In the opening questions they all said that they were opposed to raising the minimum wage to a mere $15 dollars an hour simply because “things would be imbalanced in the economy” for a while. Most of our Veterans are very poor since they spent the last 19 years of their lives, their most productive years, years that could have been spent getting a college education and a good job or becoming millionaires themselves fighting a war that no one won and returning home damaged goods. The most disrespectful thing is the fact that Trump gave Syria the control of Communists and not to our allies. Spend time reflecting on Trump's disrespect of our Veterans and spend time thanking a Veteran for their service .

To me Veterans Day is a sad day now. I don’t know how this country has managed to fail the brave VOLUNTEERS who ruined their mind and bodies for this country. For how this country has failed the many women soldiers who get raped daily by fellow soldiers and are told to forget about their assaults by commanding officers. For how this country has failed the brave gay and lesbian soldiers who were told for years to “don’t ask or tell” about who they are. Our military still receives most of our tax paying dollars and we are still considered the most powerful military country in the world. I guess we should still spend a moment thinking about those who donated their lives to protecting us so we could be upset for that moment we realize the bank is closed today, it will just have to wait till tomorrow.

I Had A Dream

After witnessing the happiness and joy shared all over America and throughout Europe in impromptu infectious celebrations over the announcement of a new President, I finally went to sleep happy for a change. It was nice to see the word infectious not being used to describe disease for a change. We all participated and witnessed impromptu infectious happiness. I dreamt of the 2020 remake of the old movie called It's A Wonderful life.

This time the main character George Bailey played by Jimmy Stewart became Joe Biden. They both wanted to leave their same old life but then saw their town changing fast. The greedy guy, Trump was in charge and disease spread everywhere causing death and destruction. Businesses closed . Savings in the bank were depleted. Food lines were everywhere. Supplies in stores were gone. Just like in the old movie but this time Biden had to return to save the town because he knew how. The old movie money grabbing Tyrant was Mr. Potter who even changed the name of the town to Pottersville. We all know Trump would have changed America to Trumpville.

My dream even had the Angel, Clarence in it but in my 2020 version of the movie there were two Angels from heaven guiding Joe in his decision not to jump over the bridge but to return to save the town. The two Angels were Ruth Bader Ginsburg and John Lewis who died and went to heaven in 2020 after their lifetime spent in the town making good trouble. Folks lined up for hours in all kinds of rain and heat and cold to peacefully vote for Joe to return. There were more hopeful lined up to vote then ever before in history. And they voted the greedy corrupt money tyrant Trump OUT of town. Is it possible that dreams do come true? Now I think so.

America has a new President in Joe Biden now. America has the first woman Vice-President in history now. America has the oldest President evert to be elected now and he is very different from our last President who inherited $500 million from his wealthy father and squandered it all. Our new old guy comes to America with real leadership, wisdom and experience serving the needs of this country for decades. The last guy came with a big mouth no experience and no credentials for the job. On election day Joe visited his childhood home and wrote on the wall," from this house to the White House." It was significant because when he lived there his father was unemployed. No fancy inheritance there for him.

Read Joe's biography and he will reveal that he always had that longing to go to the Catholic School his family couldn't afford. He knows the American experience of striving to be better to achieve better in your life and only America offers that opportunities to all better than any other country in the world. We live in the land of opportunity that even the last guy who was a complete idiot was able to become President too. Joe can identify with the sense of loss all Americans are experiencing now with 230,000 of us dead in just months of this year. He lost his wife, daughter and son in his lifetime. Joe is empathetic about poverty, job losses and death. The last President never even once mentioned the number of dead Americans in past months and presently.

Our country is divided and angry. Our government is divided and votes for any Bill according to party lines. We now have hope that with Joe's experience in working with other long time leaders all over our government he will be able to restore integrity, morals and ethics even to our law making process. Having a woman as Vice-President now, Harris will help bring empathy and extra caring to the forum. She is unique because she also is our top law maker woman in history with a unblemished record of law and order in the courts. America strong now. America united now. God Bless Americans who got through this year alive and mentally well enough to vote for badly needed change to save this shattered country. Help glue us all back together again. Make the world proud of Americans once again.

The 2020 Election is over. Well sort of. Judges ordering the Head of the Postal Service to report to court wanting to know why ballots were not sent. Trump wanting the Supreme Court to intervene meanwhile in Pennsylvania votes won't be counted till four days after election day. Yes patience is a virtue especially in this election. THIS ELECTION IS DIFFERENT BECAUSE IT IS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE WORST HEALTH PANDEMIC NOT SEEN SINCE A HUNDRED YEARS AGO. So we had most of the population participating with mail in ballots or ballots sent directly to ballot boxes that has never been done before in history. It takes time to count all those ballots. Trump is that petulant child with no patience to do things efficiently or accurately. He wants it all his way or the highway.

If he was a educated person he should learn from history where there were other elections that took long times to determine the winner. In the 19th century before the telegraph was invented elections would take days for word to even spread that someone had won. In 1876 there was a conflict election with Hayes and Tildon that took over three months to resolve ballot problems until it was finally decided that Rutherford Hayes would be President. Many of us remember the year 2000 when George W. Bush was declared the winner of that election by vote of the Supreme Court. Time will determine our next President not drama. Election Day. Damn Right VOTE

It is great to support your candidate of choice but it is NOT fine to clog up highways and intimidate citizens in full dictator intimidation style with weapons, flags and running other candidates off the public roadways. That is precisely what Trump suggested and his supporters did. The FBI took action and investigated the domestic terrorists on our streets and Trump ordered the FBI NOT to investigate. The head of the Justice Department Bill Barr is agreeing to the do nothing policy of voter intimidation. For this reason EVERYONE MUST VOTE TODAY TO PRESERVE OUR AMERICAN FREEDOMS OVER DICTATORSHIP BULLYING.

This election may well be the most important election in your lifetime no matter what your age is because the corruption has entered our highest rule of law in America the Justice Department that is supposed to be independent of any political party affiliations. Bill Barr is clearly a Trump puppet. He must be removed and with the election of Joe Biden he will be removed. So get out and voter for Joe Biden.

Barr has suppressed the Mueller Report that could have gotten rid of Trump years ago for his crimes. He suggested a lighter sentence for the crimes of long time Trump influencer Roger Stone who lied about everything in court. He dropped the charges against convicted felon Trump appointed Security Advisor Michael Flynn who was dealing with dictators and even pled guilty in court. He removed an attorney from our government offices who was investigating Trump's criminal associates. Sued Bolton to stop him from releasing the contents of his book. Barr even used the United States government to replace Trump as the defendant in a lawsuit where a woman accused Trump of rape so Trump wouldn't testify at all or be charged with a crime.

Vote because our government should work for us and not work for political protections in their very own boy's club of corruption. Save America Today.

Happy Halloween

Halloween! It is the one day of the year when kids are allowed to break the rules and adults have a reason to act and dress stupid. Kids can talk to strangers and try to get away with eating as much candy as they can. Well not this year. It is really spooky. We can really die from doing that. Men can dress like women but not be transgender or gay. Labels are not put on anyone and for once no religion is being offended by having fun on this day. For once we are not being abused by some religious persecution but we like to be creeped out anyway so the scary of Halloween is very present today. Some doctors are even saying that being scared can actually be good for you.

There are haunted houses everywhere and even haunted fields where people flock to today. There are also scientists from the University of Pittsburgh studying fear. Why are we drawn to scary movies like Poltergeist or zombie films like Night of the Living Dead? Do we really want to feel discomfort or be shocked? Do you feel wonderful after you leave that haunted house? Yes, because you survived that ugly lunatic with the bloody knife in his hand without a scratch. So you smile and feel good again. Greg Siegle, PhD a Psychiatric Doctor from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Medicine is studying the effects of scary things on your brain and he says your head could actually get warmer from fear.

The National Retail Federation predicts that Americans will spend $7 Billion dollars this year on Halloween dresses like evil clown or Donald Trump masks along with all kinds of other decorations and costumes. In the dark and in a uncertain situation you will experience fear and your palms will sweat and your heart rate will rise. Almost as euphoric as sex but certainly not that. Margee Kerr just wrote a book about fear called Scream. When we scream we are alerting others and trying to protect ourselves by startling our attacker. Our face becomes contorted as we scream to alert the attacker that we can be ugly too. It is all an amazing immediate response created without much advance thought.

We could even look scared while being on our couch watching The Walking Dead. Fear is a result of the disruption of our prediction systems. When something happens that isn’t supposed to happen, we get fearful. Clowns can be deceitful. Clowns are supposed to make us happy but if we detect something unpredictable with their eyes or stare or grin that all of a sudden goes from being silly to evil, our fears kick in. It is a lot of work on our brains and bodies all this fear. Halloween can be exhausting. Ghosts are scary because it brings in thoughts about our unknown mortality. We can’t control our mortality. We have no control of the dark. Anything can attack us without our knowledge.

Yet there is a part of us that wishes to discover and to challenge ourselves. Can we survive? Face it! Your life is too boring and structured. Halloween is the one day where it is ok to be unpredictable and take chances and that is a good thing. All our traditional worries go out the window on Halloween. Today we get to worry about all sorts of other challenges. A Haunted House can be so bad that the stresses of our real lives suddenly don’t appear to be so stressful. So do something good for your health, get the crap scared out of you! Happy Halloween!
