I got up this a.m. and prepped to take my girls to school.   When I started my truck, my "dummy" oil light came on flashing, "Check Oil Level".  So, I checked the oil dipstick and saw this.....

I participated in the Crescent City Classic 10K walk/run for the first time ever! My brother had been harrassing me for the past few years to share this experience with him. He had run it several times before. So, this year, I caved...I gave in and agreed to do this with him.

I'm stunned that the paper held up so well! This one is titled "My Horses". Just in case you can't read the photo, I'm going to type the essay here; complete with misspellings, after all, I WAS in 4th grade! But before I do, let me share a thought or two.
