John Brennan, President Obama’s nominee for C.I.A. director, faced off with the Senate in a Confirmation Hearing Thursday, in an attempt to shed some new light on Revelations about the targeted Drone killings of U.S. citizens overseas.

The hearing is scheduled for 2:30 p.m.

Lawmakers had pressed the White House to provide more information on the administration's legal justifications for using armed drone strikes to target Americans abroad suspected of terrorist activity.

The White House agreed to brief lawmakers after some senators suggested they might block Brennan's nomination until they received more information.

Brennan, currently Obama's top counterterrorism adviser, faces opposition from some GOP lawmakers, but disclosures about the administration's drone policy have sparked anger among liberals as well.

After a massive public out cry of disappointment from the consumer market over how firearm retailer's "Cheaper than Dirt" responds to Big Government pressure by stopping sales, plans to resume sales in mass email to subscribers to their site today.

He proved us right on Thursday, when he introduced the Very First pro-gun bill in the Congress, in the face of a tidal wave of anti-gun hysteria. Congressman Steve Stockman has introduced H.R. 35, the Safe Schools Act of 2013 -- a bill to allow principals, teachers, and staff to possess firearms in order to defend their students. Before 1996, American kindergartners didn’t have to fear that if a crazed gunman burst into their classroom, they would be nothing but sitting ducks. Before then, they didn’t have to worry that federal law openly advertised that there would be no one to protect them. “In the 22 years before enactment of ‘gun free school zones,’ there were two mass school shootings,” Stockman said. “In the 22 years since enactment of ‘gun free schools,’ there have been 10 mass school shootings. “Not only has that bill utterly failed to protect our children, it appears to have placed them in danger,” said Stockman. Indeed, it has. Within a couple of years of the reenactment of the Gun Free School Zones Act, the Columbine tragedy occurred. And the series of copycat school massacres has shocked and saddened our country ever since. Clearly, the gun ban is not working. And it’s past time to try a new approach. It’s time to go on the offensive! It’s time to repeal gun control, rather than talk about “enforcing the gun laws on the books.”

That's Totally Jacked: New US Tax Policies

Doing some research again, I stumbled across this little Gem: ask yourself which one of these countries sounds more Communist?

Perhaps most shocking is increase in dividend tax rates, set to rise from 15% to as high as 43.4%. Individuals who start productive businesses are being heavily penalized. Individuals who save their money and put it to work investing in other people’s businesses are being heavily penalized. This says a lot about government values.

Ironically, the new government of the People’s Republic of China has decided the REDUCE their tax on dividends. Years ago it was 20%, then dropped to 10% in 2005. Effective January 1st, though, the dividend tax rate in China will drop to a mere 5%.

Tell me again… which of these nations is Communist?

Freedom TV: For all of those who still think to question things, makes for conspiracy

You used to be branded a "nut-job, whacko or at the very least a "conspiracy theorist" almost completely losing any credibility for your research in the public eye for questioning anything from the Government. Especially if it was anything like the OFFICIAL STORY. For the most part, until recently, people didn't speak up or debate any possibility coverup mostly for fear of big brother's retaliation, being it; persecution, character deformation on mass media levels, or charged with something crazy being a traitor or God forbid the other big "T" word because even as american citizens we can be detained over it, indefinitely, without any charges revealed just under a hunch you might be.
Don't buy it, GOOD, I never expected anyone to take my word for, the point of all this, GO FIND OUT for yourself. Just look up great reads the Patriot Act and Homeland Security (Don't forget to Google: Hitler, father of homeland security?).
Until just recently, people never spoke up, at least not publicly anyway. In light of all of the compounding bill of rights violations, seeing now attacking of the 2nd amendment (search for yourself). Has spawned underground media outlets like talk radio an online podcasts/webcasts etc. and thanks to investigative journalists and their shows (Clyde and Ground Zero, Sean Hannity [www.hannity.com] support from Local News Radio, YouTube, podcasts, you name it, has birthed a new Network; Internet TV Channel The Blaze ( http://www.video.theblaze.com/index.jsp) including news personality Glen Beck. There is a growing voice.

We are the land of the free and home of the brave.

The day after the US government and media exploit the Sandy Hill tragedy 10+ Million guns sold in new record for sales in US for December 2012. The previous record was roughly 5 million a few years back.

The growing tension come to a head today, as single day numbers in gun sales shatters the old record sales day by Two-fold.

As a result, multiple states introducing "forced gun buy back".

Cheap quick Xbox "Red Ring of Death" fix

Disclaimer: this how-to can potentially destroy your system, use at your own risk. {fire hazard}!!!

That being said, if many of you out there are like me, and your Xbox 360 gets the RRD (red ring of death{3 flashing red lights}), it is past it's warranty, and you lack the funds to get it professionally repaired, there are a few options. The easiest and most inexpensive option is to use the "towel trick" and cook your XBOX. This is the method I chose for fixing my RRD issue and its worked for me so far (doing it now actually). First you need, 3 towels, about an hour of spare time, a fire extinguisher (just in case) and a fan (box or oscillating). Disconnect everything from your XBOX, hard drive included, leaving only the power supply plugged in, power off your system then power it back on, since the A/V cord is disconnected you will see all 4 lights flashing red. Next proceed to wrap 3 towels around the XBOX covering it completely, the reason for this is you want to overheat and cook your 360, let it cook for about 30-35 minutes then power off, before powering down if it has cooked long enough, when you unwrap it you should see that it has gone into overheat mode (flashing 2 lights) this essentially resets the system error too. Then finally put a fan nest to it on high for 15 to 20 minutes until it is cool to the touch, then plug everything back in and power on the system, if all goes well (as it should), tada, your system works. Mind you, this is only a temporary fix and the jury is out on how long it actually lasts before you have to do it again. Some say it lasts 4-5 days, for me it lasted almost 2 weeks.

The Theory behind the madness:
Microsuck in all there infinite wisdom, created a great system with the exception of a "Deathstar-like" flaw. The heat-syncs for the processors are cheap and fail very easily, so essentially you are heating them up and re-sealing them to the processors.

The funny thing about life is, you always seem to find yourself at these "crossroads", or turning points in our life. In some cases the decisions seem simple, effortless. Often other times we are given long periods on which to ponder these choices; was it the right move to leave friends/ loved ones behind, or stay while other places and people change direction. We make these choices in effect, to take better opportunities. Whether it be furthering ourselves, relationships or career prospects. They are defining moments in our lives, which set us on the path to where we are today and will be in the future. The ultimate goal being to enrich the lives we have in one fashion or another. People change, so do their priorities, that's just how it works. Yes I know this to be common knowledge, but sometimes knowing it and seeing/accepting it are two totally different things. College, a new family, children, a career, travel, they are all street signs at the turning points in the road of life.

Reflecting on these choices can be easy and quick, or slow and difficult. I suppose that depends on a few factors; First whether we're making small or big change. Next, whether you felt you made them for the right or wrong reasons i.e. was it the easy way, or the difficult one. Is it whats best for you or someone else etc. Whatever the reason, it tends to correlate with the amount of time spent wondering the inevitable "what if's" in life. Again for everyone and every situation it's different. Any way you look at it, two things happen. Time seems to fly by much faster as we get older. Also we often wonder how things may have been, if we'd done things differently.

It's my opinion, that at these rare moments in life when we take time to reflect on our choices, we get a quick glance at who we were, who we are and where we're headed. The end-all goal being universal, what makes us happiest? It's been my experience that life should be lived with as few regrets as possible. It's also easier than one might think. If you stop to realize that everything, good or bad (used loosely) you've experienced up to now, has shaped the person you see in the mirror. Thus no matter how bumpy the road may have been at some points, it all leads here, now. hopefully you like what you see. And if your not quite there yet, don't worry, it's likely just around the next turn. When it all comes down to it, it's what you do with the people you care about (you, family, friends, loved ones), that matters the most.
