Former Miss California USA Carrie Prejean made a short but dramatic appearance on Larry King Live Wednesday in which she refused to answer an openly gay caller and threatened to walk off the show after King asked questions about the role a sextape may have played in a lawsuit settlement.

“You sued the pageant after they fired you, they countersued, and then you accused them of a number of things including religious discrimination, clearly an issue important to you,” King asked. “Why did you settle? You don’t have to tell me the terms of the settlement, but why settle since you had a fight to carry on? ”

“You know what Larry. Larry. Everything that was discussed in mediation, I’ll say it again, is completely confidential. I’m not, I’m not gonna be able to talk about that.” Prejean rebuffed.

But King persisted, “So, you can’t even say why you settled? … How does that break what you settled for?”

Prejean insisted it was a confidential agreement and blasted the late night king, “Larry, your being inappropriate. You really are.”

“What?” a shocked King asked. “I’m asking you a question.”

“I’m not gonna talk about anything that was discussed in mediation, its completely confidential,” she says then again calls King “inappropriate.”

Then a caller from Detroit joins the two and admits to be openly gay. Prejean disconnects her microphone.

“I’m a gay man and I love pageants,” the Detroit caller says. “I’m sure that you, Carrie, have got, you know, great gay friends that helped you possibly win. What would you give them as advice if they wanted to get married?”

But by now it’s too late. Prejean claims not to have heard the question and refused to acknowledge the Detroit caller. King asks her to put her microphone back on, but she refuses to do so and says, “you’re being extremely inappropriate right now and I am about to leave your show.”

Prejean was fired from the Miss USA pageant in June. She believes she lost her crown because of her opposition to gay marriage. Pageant organizers said she was skipping official events.

Dueling lawsuits ensued with Prejean claiming she was improperly dismissed and the pageant claiming she still owed them for the cost of breast implants they helped her buy.

Earlier this month, Prejean and organizers reached a confidential settlement in both suits amid reports that Prejean settled quickly because organizers had obtained a copy of a solo sex tape she made with a former boyfriend.

Former heavyweight boxing champion Mike Tyson was arrested on Wednesday after scuffling with a celebrity photographer at LAX Airport.

The photographer was arrested, reports Reuters. He suffered a cut to his forehead and was taken to a hospital.

“There’s a lot of different versions to the story,” Los Angeles Airport Police Sergeant Jim Holcomb said. “That’s all going to come out later. But in this particular case, both individuals are going to be pressing charges for battery.”

The Los Angeles Times reports the boxer told police that the shutterbug struck him in an attempt to provoke him.

Meanwhile, the photographer claims Iron Mike punched him in the face and tried to take film from his camera.

Mike, 43, has been back in the public eye while promoting his new documentary, Tyson. He also appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show last month to discuss the tragic death of his daughter Exodus, 4, in a freak accident on May 26.

Dancing with the Stars pro Julianne Hough and country singer Chuck Wicks have split up, a source told People.

“This was mutual. They needed some time apart,” the source told the magazine.

Despite the report of a breakup, Hough, 21, and Wicks are both still expected to attend the Country Music Association Awards on Wednesday where Hough will present and Wicks, 30, will cover the red carpet for Entertainment Tonight.

Hough, also a country singer, and Wicks became close while touring with Brad Paisley, and the two walked the red carpet together for the first time at last year’s CMAs.

Calls to Hough and Wicks’ reps were not immediately returned to TVGuide.com.

Jennifer Lopez is none too pleased about her ex-husband Ojani Noa’s plans to sell a video of the couple on their honeymoon in 1997, and has filed a $10 million lawsuit against him, according to People.com. J-Lo says by shopping the tape, which reportedly shows Lopez in skimpy clothing and being spanked by her new husband, Noa is violating a confidentiality agreement in place since 2004. Legal issues aside, he seems to be in pretty clear violation of good taste. How hard up for cash must you be to sell your honeymoon video?

The Carrie Prejean sextape video has become headline news as she embarks on a face-saving campaign. Besides, former Miss California Carrie Prejean has books to sell. The controversy swirling around her solo sex tape is publicity well timed to get her name back into the public arena just as her book, Still Standing, dropped onto the bookshelves of America (Monday, November 9). She told Fox News’ Sean Hannity Monday night, “They can call it whatever they want to call it, but it was the biggest mistake of my life.” But was it?
According to TMZ, which broke the story, the existence of the sex tape cost Carrie Prejean at least a million dollars, which was the reported amount of her lawsuit against Miss California USA. Prejean claimed she had be dismissed from the organization on religious grounds, a claim Miss California denied, stating that the former Miss California had been released because of breach of contract.
The lawsuit was the eventual result of the fallout of Carrie Prejean’s answer to Perez Hilton’s question on same-sex marriage at the 2009 Miss USA Pageant. Prejean later claimed that her answer cost her the crown, but pageant officials and insiders later stated that Miss North Carolina Kristen Dalton would have won the pageant anyway (rumors that Carrie Prejean was leading going into the final round were alleged to be untrue). Prejean embarked on an unauthorized radio and television interview tour, defending her Miss USA Pageant answer and heterosexual marriage. Prejean became the darling of both the religious Right and political conservatives. Topless photos surfaced. Then more topless photos (after Prejean claimed there were no more and lied about her age — she said she was 17; she was not — in the nude photos).

During the negotiations in the discrimination lawsuit, the attorneys for Miss California USA produced the sex tape. Sources told TMZ that at first Prejean denied that it was her image pleasuring herself on the sex tape video, but when the camera caught her face, she walked out of the negotiations.
But Carrie Prejean has a new book out, entitled Still Standing: The Untold Story of My Fight Against Gossip, Hate, and Political Attacks. The blow of losing a million dollars might be softened by a good round of interviews.
She told Hannity it was “bad judgment.” She was young. She “never thought it would come out.” Then the disclaimer, “It’s embarrassing, and it’s humiliating to be talking about this of national TV.”
Then why was she talking about her sex tape on television? One might think an embarrassed and humiliated person would retire from the public arena for awhile. But days after the sex tape video’s existence was confirmed, the embarrassed and humiliated Carrie Prejean appeared on “Hannity” and “Today” to tell her side of the story and tell everyone just how embarrassed and humiliated she really was…

Perhaps Carrie Prejean should have titled her quasi-autobiography Still Standing: How Playing The Martyr At Every Step Has Kept Me The Center of Gossip, Hate, and Political Attacks.

Erykah Badu, Melle Mel, Ledisi, Fantasia, Angie Stone and Chaka Khan honored with hits such as “Through the Fire” and “Tell Me Something Good”.

The evening also included skits, dance sequences and a return to the Board infamous fight Soul Train line and Soul Train. Monica, Tamia, Deborah Cox, Kelly Price were among the presenters.

All I can say is whaaat? Essence.com reports that Grammy Award winner Toni Braxton and her husband, Keri Lewis of Mint Condition before, have separated after eight years of marriage. The couple has two children.

We have no idea what prompted the split, but we do know that Ms. Braxton, 43, had tongues Waggin ‘on the, er “tonguing” she and singerTrey Songz, 25, gave each other on stage against everyone including her husband in the recent Soul Train Music Awards.
Seriously, inquiring minds want to know definitively what happened.

So, although Songz Braxton or all sportin a shock ‘bruises and broken bones and stuff, we’ll at least have a good guess as to why.

Carrie Prejean told FOX’s Sean Hannity on Monday night, November 9, that her solo ’sextape’ was the biggest mistake of her life

Carrie said she was a teenager at that time and did not think the tape would ever come out, acknowledging that was bad judgment on her part.

She emphasized that she was not having sex with anybody in the so called ’sex tape.’

“I was all by myself and I was sending my boyfriend at the time, whom I loved and cared about, a video of me,” Carrie told Sean.

“It is embarrassing and it is humiliating to be talking about it now on national TV,” she added.

Asked if the tape bothered her, Carrie said it did, adding, “I take full responsibility for it.”

Comedian Katt Williams was arrested on burglary and criminal trespass charges in a west Georgia community Sunday night, according to a court official.

Williams, 38, smiled broadly while posing for a mug shot photo at the Coweta County, Georgia, jail.

His first court appearance is set for 4 p.m. ET Monday, where a magistrate will decide if Williams is eligible for bond, said Deborah Matthews, a spokeswoman with the Coweta County Magistrate Court.

Sammy Sosa’s skin has not been digitally altered in the recent photo you see on the left. And despite the theories flying, this also isn’t Michael Jackson Part II — his skin hasn’t been stripped of any pigment by a disorder such as Vitiligo.

It turns out Sosa has just been undergoing a “rejuvenation process,” according to Cubs employee Rebecca Polihronis, who speaks frequently with the baseball legend.

“He is going through a rejuvenation process for his skin,” Polihronis told the Chicago Tribune. “Women have it all of the time. He was surprised he came out looking so white. I thought it was a body double. Part of (the photo appearance) is just the lighting.

“He is in the middle of doing a cleansing process to his skin. The picture is deceiving. He said, ‘If you saw me in person, you would be surprised. When you see me in person, it is not going to seem like the picture.’ ”

The photo in which Sosa’s skin appears bleached was taken Nov. 4, when Sammy and his wife Sonia attended an awards event at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.

After the startling photos circulated around the Internet, many began to question what exactly had caused Sosa’s pale skin color. But as Polihronis said, Sosa is “not trying to be Michael Jackson.” “People who saw him in person did not react the same way. He can’t believe it is such a big deal,” said Polihronis, who is the former Cubs Care/Community Relations manager for the team.

According to the Tribune report, some of the possible side effects for this kind of laser skin rejuvenation include discoloration, as the treated area may become lighter or darker in appearance. Sosa reportedly sought the dermatological process in order to repair some of the UV damage from playing so many years of baseball in the sun.

Sosa announced his intention to retire from baseball on June 3, and if that retirement stands, he’ll finish his career with a whopping 609 home runs and 1,667 runs batted in.

Well, now that the skin mystery has been solved, we can move on to other questions — like wondering why Sosa has taken a liking to green contact lenses.
