Tila Tequila had a naked, ranting meltdown Wednesday night on her UStream channel, where she danced around and complained about ex-boyfriend, NFL star Shawne Merriman, whom she says beat her.

At one point, she rambled: “People call me an attention whore … or whatever … but excuse me, I’m a grown a– woman and I’m confident in myself … I think a woman’s body is a beautiful thing … that’s why I’m a lesbian … I was born naked … anybody who is against that is gay and in denial.”

The 28-year-old MTV reality star — real name: Tila Nguyen — now says Merriman’s alleged abuse prompted the bizarre video (which has been taken down).

“Well, you know, I couldn’t sleep, and I started getting anxiety,” she tells TMZ of why she made the tape. “I just kind of flipped out a little bit.”

Tila — who is currently filing a $1.5 million lawsuit against Merriman for battery and false imprisonment — said she is “doing OK now.”

“I just wish … I hope that everybody gives me a second chance to support me this time, to give me a fair chance because they didn’t give me a fair chance the first time,” she said.

Referring to District Attorney Bonnie Dumanis dismissing her claims, Tila then told TMZ, “They didn’t even look into [my case].”

“When my case first came out, everyone was calling me a liar because [they said] if he really did beat you, you wouldn’t have said anything because Rihanna never said anything [at first],” Tila went on.

“But I am not her,” Tila said. “No offense to Rihanna, but because of what she did, it sends out a message to everyone … ‘When you get beat or abused, keep your mouth shut.’

“So I decided I am going to come out and speak about it and fight for it…” she went on.

“What Rihanna did … her message was to say quiet,” Tila said, “and that’s not OK.”

Katie Morgan, American actress, pornographic actress, model and radio talk-show host has been reportedly arrested. Though, it’s yet to be confirmed what are the charges against her.

Oprah Winfrey is expected to announce today that she will end her daytime “Oprah Winfrey Show” in 2011 as she prepares to start her own cable network. Winfrey’s Harpo Productions confirmed Thursday that the host will explain her decision to pull the plug on her Chicago-based syndicated show at the end of the 2010-11 season, its 25th on national television. She is to discuss what’s next during her last live show of the calendar year.

In Detroit, the show airs at 4 p.m. weekdays on WXYZ-TV (Channel 7).

Speculation that her departure was near reached new levels in January 2008 after Winfrey announced that she and Discovery Networks planned to partner on a new cable network: OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network.

Marla Drutz, WDIV-TV (Channel 4) vice president and general manager, who was program director at WXYZ for nearly 20 years, said Thursday night that Winfrey’s decision is huge news, not only because of the potentially significant ratings shifts for local networks but also for fans.

“She has changed the landscape of daytime television,” Drutz said. “Stations who have her lead into their 5 p.m. news have a lot to think about. It’s also an incredible opportunity.”

Winfrey started her broadcasting career as a teen in Nashville, Tenn., at WVOL-TV. Today her show is seen in more than 200 U.S. markets.

She also has a wide-ranging media empire. Her Harpo Studios produces shows hosted by Dr. Phil McGraw and celebrity chef Rachael Ray.

Her Oprah’s Book Club produces instant best-sellers, and O, the Oprah Magazine was the nation’s seventh most-popular magazine in the first half of 2009.

Marcie Brogan, chief executive officer of Birmingham advertising and marketing firm Brogan & Partners, said Winfrey “touched people in a variety of ways, including weight and self-esteem issues, politics, abuse … real-life struggles.”

“Her departure from people’s everyday lives will only heighten demand for her next projects,” Brogan said. “People will be looking to fill their Oprah fix.”

The raunchy footage shows the Playboy pin-up cavorting with a scantily-clad brunette while sipping a bottle champagne.

Wearing nothing but high heels, stockings, pants, a red bra and diamond-studded choker, the pair stimulate lesbian sex and play-up to the cameraman.

Fellow Playboy cover girls Pamela Anderson and Kim Kardashian have appeared in X-rated home videos leaked online, as has Paris Hilton, whose was famously named One Night In Paris.

However, unlike the above three, Carmen’s version does not feature her having sex. There is also speculation that the leak is a publicity stunt to promote a new movie or TV show.

Speaking out five months after Michael Jackson’s death, Janet Jackson placed blame on Dr. Conrad Murray, saying the doctor should no longer be allowed to practice medicine “He was the one that was administering,” she told ABC’s Robin Roberts. “I think he is responsible.”

Michael Jackson’s personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, remains the focus of a manslaughter investigation into the pop star’s death. Murray has admitted to administering the anesthetic propofol, but has denied giving Michael anything that should have killed him.

Jackson, who has walled herself in silence, fiercely guarding her private thoughts about the death of her beloved brother, Michael, opened up to Roberts in an exclusive interview that will air, Wednesday, Nov. 18 at 10 p.m. ET.

“It’s been a tough year,” she said. “You have your days where it’s just really — it’s hard to believe. And a day doesn’t go by that I don’t think about him.”

Jackson recounted the details of the morning of June 25, before she learned that Michael had collapsed, and her world turned upside down.

This is the second time J. Depp has been dubbed the dreamiest, placing him alongside George Clooney and Brad Pitt as the only other repeat winners. The Sexiest Man Alive issue of People Magazine is on stands now.

Lying in bed one night in 2007, Peter Criss felt something strange: a small lump on his left breast.

“I thought, `It’s a nodule, I’m a guy, I don’t think it’s anything more than that,’” he said. “The more I messed with it, the bigger it got and the more it hurt, and that started really scaring me.”

The former Kiss drummer went to the doctor, underwent some tests and a surgical procedure to remove the lump. A week later, the doctor called. It was breast cancer.

“My heart hit my stomach and my knees buckled,” Criss recalled.

The good news was that Criss had caught the disease at its earliest stage. After a second surgery to remove it in March 2008, he would not need chemotherapy, radiation or medication.

Now, the once-costumed rocker who performed in his Catman makeup is speaking out about his illness to encourage other men to get tested for breast cancer – a disease more commonly associated with women, who are routinely urged to get regular mammograms at a certain age – the moment they suspect something might be amiss.

“You need to immediately tell your wife, your girlfriend, your boyfriend, whatever,” he said. “The more you sit around and say, `Well, it’s going to go away,’ that time could be the time that you save your life.”

Men account for only 1 percent of all breast cancer cases, but about 2,000 men develop it each year, and 440 die from it, according to the National Cancer Institute.

Dr. Alexander Swistel, who treated Criss, praised his decision to get checked out immediately after sensing something was wrong.

“He’s a great spokesperson, and he’s very bright about this kind of thing,” Swistel said. “To have someone like him come forward and show that there’s life after this is a wonderful thing. Rather than be the typical guy and say, `Ah, forget it,’ he moved on it right away.”

There should be no stigma attached to having the disease, or seeking help for it, Criss said. Other tough guys, including “Shaft” actor Richard Roundtree, have spoken out about having breast cancer.

“It’s something we think guys don’t get,” Criss said. “Guys get prostate cancer, heart attacks. Men are men – women get breast cancer. Or so I thought.”

“It has nothing to do with macho,” said Criss, best known for the 1976 ballad “Beth,” which remains Kiss’ biggest hit to date. “There’s no tougher guy than me. I was born in Brooklyn, I was in gangs, I did the whole battling thing my whole life. I think a man is a man if he steps forward and says, `There’s something bad going on and I need to deal with it.”

His doctor says the 63-year-old Wall Township, New Jersey, resident is cancer-free today. Criss’ treatment gave him an up-close look at what women have endured for ages.

“I sat in the waiting room, and there were all these women who looked like they weren’t going to be here long – no hair, scarves – a place a guy doesn’t think he’s ever going to be sitting in one day,” he said.

And having a mammogram was an experience in itself for Criss.

“It’s amazing how they can get a guy’s little pecs in that thing that the poor women go through,” he said. “They are so medieval! I have a whole new respect for women going through mammograms.”

Criss was a co-founder of Kiss from 1973 to 1980, did a reunion tour from 1996 to 2000, and returned for a final stint in 2003. He’s working on a new solo album and a long-delayed autobiography.

“I am the Catman, and I do have nine lives, but I think I’m down to five now,” he said.

The Poland-born beauty was eliminated from the hit ABC show Tuesday.

She and professional partner Derek Hough consistently earned high scores on the hit ABC show. They collected an impressive 81 out of 90 points for their performances on Monday’s episode, landing them in second place during the semifinals. But fans failed to keep the couple afloat with their votes.

Viewer votes are combined with judges’ scores to determine which contestant is eliminated each week.

“It’s been such an amazing experience,” Krupa said after learning her fate. “I’ve grown as a person. Thank you for giving me the opportunity.”

Head judge Len Goodman called Krupa and Hough “the most consistent of all of our couples” throughout the season. On Monday’s episode, judge Carrie Ann Inaba told Krupa, “You truly are a dancer.”

To close Tuesday’s show, Krupa and Hough reprised the ethereal Viennese waltz that earned them 27 out of 30 points on Monday and inspired Inaba to say, “You took my breath away.”

Tuesday’s episode also featured a slew of musical performances. The surviving Bee Gees celebrated the band’s 50th anniversary by performing the hit “You Should Be Dancing.” Alicia Keys sang her single “Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart” from her new album, due in stores next month. Leona Lewis performed her latest song, “Happy,” from her just-released album, “Echo.” A team of professional dancers also performed a number from the forthcoming musical film “Nine.”

A new “Dancing” champ will be crowned next week. Singer Mya, reality star Kelly Osbourne and entertainer Donny Osmond will be vying for the show’s coveted mirrorball trophy.

On Saturday, Dave Meltzer reported that UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar has been hospitalized for health woes, which included mononucleosis. Things have gotten worse since then, as Lesnar will reportedly need to go under the knife for intestinal problems. Dana White is concerned that Lesnar might not ever fight again. The UFC has not revealed Lesnar’s exact diagnosis, which was the champ’s wish.

This is beyond a nightmare scenario for the UFC. Lesnar, who with only four fights won the championship belt, has been a marketing coup. As a former professional wrestler who was quite popular with WWE, he brought with him a built-in fanbase. Not only that, the UFC has been hit by a run of injuries and infections. Lesnar’s frightening illness has been coupled with injuries to champions Georges St. Pierre, Anderson Silva and Lyoto Machida, as well as a staph infection to former champ Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. Shane Carwin, who was supposed to face Lesnar at this weekend’s UFC 106, has an MCL injury.

Beyond the business end of Lesnar’s situation, it is a bizarre and sad thing to watch such an athlete be felled by sickness. Lesnar is a hulk of a man, standing 6-foot-3 and usually walking around at quite a bit more than his fighting weight of 265 lbs. At just 32 years old, he is the last person you would associate with the word unhealthy.

This may open the door for the UFC to offer an interim heavyweight championship belt while Lesnar recuperates, but they won’t be in a rush to do that, as Carwin and Nogueira aren’t available to fight right now. If the UFC decides to put up an interim belt, hopefully Lesnar won’t be concerned with that, and he will be focused on getting healthy.

It’s nothing new when liberal women complain about sexism, but when conservative men take up the banner, calling NEWSWEEK sexist for portraying Sarah Palin on the cover in her jogging clothes, that catches my attention. Why do right-wing men rush to Sarah’s side to defend her? My theory is that this is payback time. They’ve been called sexist and racist, and subjected to media ridicule of their allegedly retro views. Palin is their way to push back against the elites that have marginalized them.

For the record, I loved Palin’s interview with Runner’s World, and the cover image that graces NEWSWEEK. She’s in great shape, and she’s shown herself capable of handling whatever comes her way─and making a tidy profit in the process. She’s turned media criticism into a cash cow. Anybody who can stir up the body politic like Palin is a force to be reckoned with. With such Christian-right leaders as Jerry Falwell gone and the Reverend Dobson retired, Palin is the new kingmaker. She may not run for national office again, but those who do will seek her endorsement as the key to mobilizing the populist energy emerging on the right.

Right-wing men embrace her with the same fervor they did Clarence Thomas when he was first nominated for the Supreme Court. Whatever reservations they may have had about the minorities that gravitate to the Democratic Party, Thomas was their guy─and they believed he was every bit as qualified as contenders who’d gone to fancy colleges, even more so, because he understood ordinary people. And supporting him, and now Palin, they believe should put to rest any notion that they are racist or sexist, or somehow not up to the standard of Washington and New York dinner parties.

Palin embodies the backlash against the intellectual and geographical elites that the folks who live in flyover country blame for wrecking the economy and denigrating their values. She’s a vehicle for their rage. After all, there is something to be said for mediocrity, declared Republican Sen. Roman Hruska in 1970 defending G. Harrold Carswell, an undistinguished Supreme Court nominee who was ultimately rejected by the Senate. In the words that immortalized him more than anything else, he said of Carswell, “Even if he were mediocre, there are a lot of mediocre judges and people and lawyers. They are entitled to a little representation, aren’t they, and a little chance? We can’t have all Brandeises, Frankfurters, and Cardozos.” Substitute whatever names you like for those legal giants, and you’ll plumb the whys and wherefores of Palin’s appeal. She’s ordinary folk, and in times like these, when the elites have messed up, the segment of society that feels most marginalized─white, working-class men who more often than not are conservative─have found their heroine.
