Shabu One Steamboat Buffet (All You Can Eat), Lot 10

You know at times, when we are so spoiled for options, we want barbeque, sushi, ala-carte, noodles, steamboat and so much more?

I’ve to say Shabu One Steamboat Buffet, so called Steamboat Buffet offers just more than Steamboat. I think it was more of Steamboat & Buffet. Located right inside Lot 10 Mall, you surely won’t miss it.Giving your tummies a wide option, you get to cook your own noodles – curry or clear soup, it’s all your choice. Mee, Kuey Teow, Bee Hon, Lo Shu Fun and more, it’s all about your stomachs!Also, you get to have clear soup and curryish tomyam. I personally liked the clear soup more than the curryish tomyam. You get to design the soup the way you want to, by adding lobak, tomatoes and all the kinda vegetable and meat which I am not too sure the names. But I think adding tomatoes and some fish paste makes the soup really good. Also, if you are a big fan of seafood, then yes, this is the place. So much of seafood you can choose from. From prawns, sotongs, squids and more! Some fish paste, wanton and some balls. You know how I tweet about balls all the time when I have steamboat? The option of balls is quite the amazing – meat balls, beef balls, fish balls and more! Balls overload. More seafood. You know some of the seafood, I don’t even know what it’s called. Really. I’m not a big fan of seafood. But hey, fish paste are awesome stuffs! :D Also, I’ve never seen such a wide variety of vegetable in a buffet. I can’t name them all. But I can tell you, there were over 10 types of vegetable there. And I don’t know what their names are. Really. You also get pre-cooked food. From fried rice, beehoon, teppanyaki sauce chicken, meat and more. If you’re lazy (like me) to wait for the soup to boil and all, just go start eating first lah. Isn’t that quite awesome? And don’t ask me what are the names of these noodles. There are too many I can’t name them. You get basically ALL kinds of noodles. And trust me, if you’re thinking of trying everything, it’s surely impossible. Ohhh, if you’re a fan of Curry Fish Balls, and you think it’s tough to find it here in Malaysia? Here, at Shabu One, you can get them too. Talking about vegetables, you get carrot, tomatoes, mushrooms and more. So many types of mushrooms too. Being the sweet guy I am, how can I do without desserts? And they have those ice-cream popsicles. The last time I had that, was like, in primary school. Like, really. See the variety of bloody meat you can get here. It’s like trying to get you to eat till you explode. And for your information, I didn’t even eat those weird looking meat down there. More balls, wantan, sui gao and some lady fingers. Confession: I forgot to snap the desserts freezer with loads of jelly and the sushi corner. They serve sushi too! Like, really. Now, don’t you think they should change their name? It shouldnt just be called Steamboat Buffet.

But well, my point is, if you want variety, Shabu One is definitely the place to rock it at. You can really really eat all you want there. No time limit.

And oh, there is a juice bar. Which has different kinds of juices and drinks. Drink as much as you like okays? No one is gonna stop you. I think the next round I want to play games on the table with drinking as punishment, here’s the place to do it.

Galatic Laser Tag Outing, Mid Valley

So, this is one activity that I’ve been wanting to do for decades. You know, go in, shoot people or even get shot. And I finally got the chance, with a whole bunch of boys, we went to rock Galatic Laser Tag in Mid Valley 2 Saturdays ago.

Sorry to spoil your day, but I find this picture rather ~~impressive~~. Fierce look fail big time. It was also a Halloween weekend. So, things were a lil creepy and all. But it was a great time of fun, scaring ourselves and all. Fast. Furious. Fun. It wasn’t that furious. But it was surely fast and fun. Kan I say it was Halloween? This isn’t too scary, but yeah. Oh, I wanted to brag about how my iPhone cover shines in the dark. But I’d save it for another time. The entrance was pretty cool. I feel like I’m in some Power Rangers thing. This was the Briefing Room before the match. Rules are pretty cool. And yes, pregnant women are not allowed. Really. Too scary lah. You can actually come up and view the match. Like really. People screaming and all. It’s quite the exciting lah. Seeing is one thing. Playing is another. The bunch of guys I went with. Nicholas, Caleb, Kelvin, Ian, Natanael, Wen Jie. In the briefing room, we still had to snap pictures. We just had to. Lastly, this is the guy who ACTS cooooool. Nicholas. It’s quite a good place for outing and bonding. We had so much fun trying to kill each other, and will never seem to die.

But it’s something I would wanna go again.

Malaysian Bars Association (MBA) Restaurant, Kota Damansara

It took me a few minutes to digest the name of this place. I couldn’t figure if it was a court, meeting place or what. But it came with the word Restaurant behind it. And finally, when I was shoved the menu of the place, boy was I only convinced it was really a restaurant. In fact, a very cool hang out place.

Coming from a very unique name, their amazing tagline – We Raise The Bar shows how creative people can be. What I like about this place? I actually think that this is one of those places where I can choose the ambience I want – from a bar, a restaurant, an outdoor chillout place, a play-area and more. By play area, I mean this pool table. Been a while I last played pool. The bar area, which is really simple and tidy. I love how things are placed. Classy! Outdoor seating area. Pretty cool. Indoor dining area. Quite romantic too. When it comes to food, MBA Restaurant serves a mix of Western and Asian, which gives you the both worlds. Chicken Wings Oriental – RM 20.

I’ve to say I’m not a fan of Chicken Wings, but cause the bones were so small, I actually liked it. Mashed Potatoes – RM 8

Sorry, did not try cause I’m still trying to lose a lil weight. Wild Fungi Soup – RM 12.

Loved the texture. Pretty good.

And this berry crush juice sangat best la. Simple yet best. Traditional Fish and Chips – RM 24

I actually loved these kinda fish and chips. I mean, there are a lot of types these days. But this suits my taste. I like how crispy it is. The Indon Treasure – RM 10.

This is your a lil spicy fried rice. I loved the eggs. Haha. I’m such an egg-fan. Thai Fried Soh Hoon – RM 9

I think this is the bestest of the best. I loved it. I like how simple it tastes yet rich with it’s ingredients. Okay, I don’t know what I’m saying. But it’s just best. Grilled Beef Stirloin.

If you’re a fan of beef, this is a must-try. Don’t you love the colours of the pictures? And the sauce is really awesomesauce. Aku suka. Wedges were quite ordinary but the meat was good. How different can wedges be anyways? This unique kebab does have quite a stand out taste. Prolly a very Malaysian-Iranian kind. If you get what I mean. Skillet Salmon – RM 36.

I really loved this la. Why? It’s bonesless. Nah, I’m just joking. But I love how nicely it is served. It tastes fresh. I didn’t get those fishy smell in it.

Logos Hope, World’s Largest Floating Book Fair in Port Klang

Weeks ago, I was at Logos Hope, World’s Largest Floating Book Fair. I thought it was sad enough that I had to miss the Big Bad Wolf Book fair, but well, I took this as a compensation.

Not much of a reader, but well, I do read lah. But hey, I used to be forced into reading. Hence, my half-past-six English. But I realised the more I read, the more the slang creeps into my Cantonese, where it can be scary at times.

Logos Hope, arrived at Port Klang. It was raining but I the weather was aweesome when we arrived there. Like, really.The journey was so long, that the first thing we do when we arrived at the Cruise Centre, to head to the toilet. Oh, I went with some families and friends. This picture was meant for Jiahuei, and yes, I sent it all the way to the UK for her to show her some bits of my sampatness. Logos Hope, parked right opposite Star Virgo ship. I can tell you how much I am tempted to get on Star Virgo, it’s gigantic and it looks really cooooool. Who wants to join me in it? =D It’s rare I camwhore but I thought, its Sher Leen, and she needs the camera. It’s like, she equals camera kind. So I thought, let’s do a picture. I was just trying to “gratify” her needs of camwhoring okay? Haha. I was also taken for a tour. And each of us had a tag. I was in the Germany team. I don’t know why Germany. I was so hungry that snacks were just too irresistable. I bought this mega chocolate cookie. Really good stuffs yo. If it was warmed, it would also have been 10 times nicer. She’s Jessica, our tour guide. Pretty friendly and nice. I got up to Deck 7. Quite the fun lah. I think I wanna live in there.. For A WEEK. Haha. You know I can’t stand being locked in a place kan? I didn’t get to meet the captain. He’s on a break. He is quite the young. Apparently, he had a dream when he was young to be the captain of a Mission Ship. And now here he is, talk about living our dreams. I can stalk people from this door. But I don’t know why an aunty turns out. Don’t ask la, okay? This is the theater in the ship. Super cool I tell you. And it’s also used as a concert hall. Good lightings and looks like there were good sound systems too. And after the tour, only we were allowed to head to the book fair. Not really. We got special invites, hence the tour. But hey, they’ve got a huge variety of books. Like, really a lot. From fictions to non-fictions, romance to adventure to even dictionaries. They also have CDs and DVDs for sale. Apparently, they have over 5000 books and CDs on board. And since we were in Port Klang, we can’t run away from some seafood kan? So, we went for supper at this place at around 11pm. Thank goodness I don’t eat seafood. Else, I’d be sooooo the gemuk. Already am. Tell me about it. But I thought they had some delicious noodles too. So, this boat is a travelling boat. I’m not too sure when it’s leaving. But I do think that this is quite an adventure. Poor people like me who have no access to Star Virgo, should at least go for this la. Haha. But yeah, if you wanna go for Star Virgo, hit me up yo! Would be more than happpy to gooo! :)

Caffeinees Cafe, Kampung Pandan / Jia Huei’s Farewell.

I won’t want to run away from the fact that time flies. Or probably, time flew. It was just a year ago where we started making fun of Jia Huei, that she will be leaving and how she will miss us and the things we would do without her. And true enough, in a blink, she is now gone, and I think she totally ~~forgot~~ about us already.

Jia Huei, what more can I say. The fact that I dedicated 1 post for her here, shows how important she is in my (our) life. Yes, I slave-drived her when she was in town, but I’ve to say she did it all, with no hesitant. And I’ve to say lah, she is the best secretary ever. If she doesn’t get a job when she gets back, I can stand to testify she is the best secretary ever.

Cut the junk, we did a farewell for her. And I thought we had so much time camwhoring and just make fun of her. And also, she is always remembered for her hair. Thats for sure. Our siao girls. I think they can get into some big things if you mess with them. Don’t try. I thought this was quite a beautiful picture apart from my messed up long hair. A picture that prolly means a lot by now. And can I just say something, the reason she is underdressed is because she didn’t know we were gonna do her a farewell. Bwahahaa. And hence, the shorts. If this made you puke, you’re human. The feminine side of me. See, I told you they can be up to something. Like, being the grasses for the flowers. Oh, I think these girls aim to head to Tanjung Rambutan one of these days. I am gonna be murdered this weekend. Talking about the food, food pictures came from my phone. Not too sure why it was a lil blurry. Prolly I was having too much fun.

Here’s the Mushroom Soup, quite the thick. Eh, this mango yogurt thingy quite the best. I can drink it all over again without feeling jelak. One of their drinks. I thought this was Milo, but nah, it’s some choco drink. Pasta – Seafood Aglio Olio. I thought the picture didn’t look too good, but apparently, it didn’t taste too bad. Fish and Chips. Nothing extraordinary I thought. Carbonara! I tell you, I’ve been thinking about Carbonara the past say.. 3 days? And I’ve not had it yet. Quite depressing I know. I had this. I thought the serving was toooooooo small. Can you see the “oooo”? But it wasn’t too bad actually. I heard this was really really good. Can’t remember the name of the sauce. It starts with a “M” if I’m not mistaken. I heard this was not too bad, BUT the Salmon had bones. I can tell you, the moment I heard that, it was quite a turn-off. I am lazy like that. Desserts.. I’ve to say the serving looks really good. Looks quite appetizing too lah. :) And this didn’t taste too bad actually. This was the Tiramisu thingy. Loved how it was served. Quite the romantic la, if you think about it. And I am thinking of the drama side of it, like put a ring in it.. Bla Bla Bla.. I am not such a hopeless romantic after all, eh?

So, I’ve to say it was quite a fun time. And yes, this is an overdue post. But because of Jia Huei, I thought I’d flatter her for a few minutes la. Why not kan? Since she bought me Teasers when she was there, and SHE WILL CONTINUE TO BUY THEM FOR ME. All in all, her laughter, her presence and ~~her hair~~.. WILL BE MISSED.

Outdated Post: Singapore 2010

The title says it all. This is an outdated post. I was clearing my desktop a while ago and these folders still pops up there as I’ve yet to write about it. So, this is a summary of what happened when I was in Singapore 2010 with my family and some friends. It was a great trip. I think all of my Singapore trips are just amazing. I also know where’s where already being there so often.

Being a good brother, starting this post with a picture with my sister. The view is so much better than just this picture. I think the picture is just an “understatement” of how great the view was. I rarely take pictures with my brother. Not sure if this was a candid shot or if it was planned. But a picture with my very own brother is like.. GOLD? Haha. And here’s when the sister decides to join the brothers! I’ve said this and I am saying this AGAIN. If you are in Singapore, you cannot avoid Bens and Jerrys ice cream. It’s like some really really good stuffs, minus the long queues. Love the texture and unique flavours. Don’t remind me about being fat. If I am right, Vivocity or Harbour Front has one. You shan’t go to Singapore if you are NOT visiting the Universal Studios. I mean, come on. It’s like the “IN” thing. This is one ride I would prolly play over and over again. But call me stupid, I played this as my first ride. And I was the only one who got ALL WET! Like, first ride. All wet. No joke.

But it was really really fun. I am now tempted to go there just for this ride! It goes on a rotation, and if you are lucky, you get WET. And I was lucky. I am just trying to be optimistic aight? :P Some kiddy ride for a break. This is a mini-roller coaster which I thought it was not that mini after all. Jurassic Park. Not fully opened when I was there, but I want you to know it’s wicked. Oooooh. And the roller coaster. Like for real. I love this. I went in twice. Haha. And I cheated my mum into going in with me on the second round. How evil can I be? Here’s the grand entrance. The tall designs and built are quite amazing la. I really admire them actually. This is a “vomit-generator”. I can really puke sitting in it any longer than 5 minutes. It’s so super fast and dizzzzy! :O Hot stuffs la! Hot! She is damn fierce ok? I wonder if her assets are real. Shhh. This is the shopping alley. It’s crazily expensive, but some things are really cute and unique la. If you’ve a girlfriend to please, maybe you can grab some things in there! This is me trying to think that being fat is okay. Just saying. SHREKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK. This 4D thingy is awesome beyond words. I love how the effects made me feel all crazy. I know the food is frigging pricy. But, you’ve not much of a choice actually. Some satay rice. Haha. Not really sure. It doesn’t look that appetising, does it? The outdoor roller coaster was not opened when we were there. :( He is SHORTER THAN ME! And he is so small size la. Like, really. … but he’s friendly. I really admire how they get into their character the moment they walk out. This picture is awful. But it was taken to tag friends. Bwahahaha. I am evil like that. This is like a wicked LIVE studio and it shows you how they shoot and more. Quite an experience. They look evil and fierce. My HI was rejected. How can you not take a picture with the globe when you are at Universals Studio Singapore? Also, I went to Marina Bay. It was some new year event they were having. People can thrown in balls with their wishes. I wanted to write my number and throw it in, but it was only for Singapore citizens. Ooh. I had lunch at one of this Chinese Restaurant in a hospital. Unique food, and the desserts were craazy! They had some really nice cubicles of … kuih? Not really, not too sure actually. But it has a really sweet tastes and apparently it’s good for health. See the irony? This is some digestive apple juice after the meal. I was drinking things from test tube. But the juice was fresh and awesome. I won’t mind having them more often. And on our way back, our Ms Crazy. She has more ugly photogs. But I decided to be nice for once.

So, Singapore. I do miss you much. Imma be back. Soon.

Bin Xiang Bak Kut Teh, Puchong

If you’ve been following me closely, you should know, I don’t really fancy things with bones. I am lazy that way. I prolly think I need a wife that makes good food with no bones in the future. Tell me if you have some recommendations. I surely will consider, if she cooks food with no bones.

Nevertheless, here’s a great Bak Kut Teh called Bin Xiang. I don’t know what Bin Xiang means. I am a banana. But here’s the thing, I may not really enjoy bonny chicken BUT.. I do enjoy Bak Kut Teh soup. I love the unique taste. And you know, I dream of having Bak Kut Teh in the winter. It might be the bestest thing EVER!Located at Puchong, this place has a pretty traditional set up. Though I don’t like these straight chairs. I think it still looks cool lah. Who on earth sits on such straight chairs these days again? But hey, you eat Bak Kut Teh the traditional way too! Legs up and ~~dig some nose~~, use your hands. Just saying. Also, serving you a great variety of Chinese tea, this is like really going back to the days of some emperor or some sort.I love the pot. Haha. But I hate how much it can fill. Like, seriously. Do I have to call for the refill every.. 5 minutes? But for the sake of “feeling traditional”, not harm kan? If you eat Bak Kut Teh without rice, you are weird. But I know most girls do so without rice. This actually tastes amazing. Not too spicy, for me. But I think the amount of meat in there, can actually feed me full for the next half a day. The succulent meat, served in hot claypot – I think it’s the best thing ever lah. Apart from the bones. I am fussy that way.Eh, yau char kuay or also known as yau tio is something I must talk about. I am a fan of fried stuff, remember? And don’t get me pronouncing yau char kuay, it will always sound weird. But imagine deeping the yau char kuay into the soup. I loveee it lah. I can do only yau char kuay without the rice. Tell me how fattening it can be. I think I loved this the most of all the option. Love the soup, the fu chuk and of course, mushroom. And prolly the ultimate reason? – LESS BONES! But this is kickass. I really think you should try this. Personal recommendation. Looks can be deceiving. But I still think this is awesome super awesome stuff la. The SOUPPPP! If you can take fat meat, here you go. Not a fan. But it does give you quite a fair bit of “fats” in it. My uncle loves them as far as I know. So, give this a try.So, savour your taste buds with the unique tastes of the beloved local delicacy, steaming hot bak kut teh soup filled with the tender, juicy pork ribs. And of course, soothe your throat and excite your senses with the fragrant concoction of herbal ingredients that have been endlessly brewed by the Bin Xiang chefs just for you.

Yes, this is Cina Chinese food. Not exactly sure where it comes from. But I love the soup. I love chicken without bones. And thats about it. Get this deal at I LOVE DISCOUNTS right now at an unbeatable price!

Bosphorus Turkish Cuisine, Pavilion KL

I may look big to you; but if you truly know me, I ain’t really adventurous where I go around trying food of all kinds. But I thought after some persuasions from my colleague, I thought, FINE. Let me just go your it.

So, this is one-of-a-kind Turkish Restaurant located in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and has been there for around 6 years. I prolly always passed by but have never thought of going in. Like I said, I am no adventurous guy. Serving authentic Turkish cuisine, this is definitely one of the few Turkish Restaurant in Pavilion. It has a really really simple setting with some Turkish touch in it. I am a strong believer of SIMPLICITY. Okay, I had the urge to write this. You can actually stalk people from inside. Sheesh. You can see hot people and things happening. 6th floor in Pavilion has quite a lot of “good stuffs”. Ask me personally what I’ve seen. :P Started the meal with a Turkish tea. It’s nothing like Chinese tea. It has a strong scent, a lil bitter but I won’t mind drinking it again. I actually love it.This is some kind of bread which I loved when it was being served hot. I mean, whatever served hot also best kan? Turkish salad. It’s different from those that I usually eat. But it’s unique. I’ve to say I’m officially a fan of this soup. You know what? I’ve been eating and drinking things without knowing their names. Forgive me please big time. It’s a lil sour and not too filling. Yes, I repeat. I actually loved this. Must try. Main course. I think this is some lamb and eggplant thing. Not a fan of eggplant but I think the mixture does bring out a unique taste. This one. My favourite. I think it’s prolly our favourite (myself, Jeremy and Linora) It has some buns below, some lamb on top; served with some yogurt. Yes, yogurt. I did thought it was weird initially. But hey, I tried. And you know what’s the best? It’s BONELESS! I mean, by now, you should know kan? I love boneless food. I would marry someone who would take out all the bones in my meals. Just saying! :P WARNING: THIS IS ADDICTIVE. It’s big, puffy and all. Now, I feel like having one in office every single day. Like, I can work while get a bite at the same time. Kan best? Desserts! I have a sweet tooth. I know it’s prolly so friggin’ fattening; but I actually had like 1 and a half of this! Not too sweet actually. But if it gets any sweeter, I think it’s gonna be so jelak-tofying. This is a lil sweeter. But I am a nut-fanatic. So, it has nuts in it. So aku suka. Sweet and crunchy. It does feels like Ferraro Roche at certain bites. I’m not gonna be too hardworking deleting pictures from my album. So, here’s a picture of Jeremy with his Turkish coffee mark. I don’t know whats with the eyes. I think he trained hard to have that Korean-looking eyes. =PI am no famous superstar. So here’s the people I grabbed a bite with on that Saturday afternoon.

So here you go, some authentic Turkish cuisine in Malaysia. I really think that you should at least give Turkish food a try.

Westlife Gravity Tour 2011 - Malaysia

So, I’ve been criticised for talking so much about Westlife. But hey, I grew up listening to them and their songs. I can really sing some of their songs without lyrics. So, this is like a dream come true. And more so, I Love Discounts is involved with it, I kinda had more reasons to go for it.

Held on the 7th October 2011 at Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil, the 4 Irish boyband rocked the house in front of a crowd of over 7,600. I am 1 of the 7,600. Reached the place around 3pm to help out in some ticketings and walkabout. This is when the setting up was done for the Premium and Platinum guests. I thought it was fantastic. It was prolly done 20 minutes before guests started coming in? And I think they are the champions of multi-tasking. Like, really. And it was empty about an hour ago, and there you go, magic! I tweeted this and I want to say this again. Guys camwhore too. But just that we do it in a more stylo-milo way. Bwahahaha. A briefing for the I LIKE IT Crew for I Love Discounts. I might be sued for putting up pictures without their sunglasses and wig. But, yeah. Imma sure they treated you so well with their charm and sweetness. Before heading out, a big group picture. They really do have style! :) And they weren’t really familiar with each other, but I think they made good friends. How can we not take pics without the singers right? There they go. Entering the concert hall. With Lilian and Chin Leng. I think we had the best seats ever thanks to I LOVE DISCOUNTS. Fabulous seating. Not too far, ain’t too near. We sang along to almost all 14 songs they sang that night. I admire their energy and passion in singing. It’s just toooo amazing! More concert feel. Lovin’ the lightings though I thought it could have been a lil more creative. I love how they have the chemistry with each other on stage.

Met up with Sarah Yang and Joseph Lam after the concert. They were on the same row on the other end. I think we are freaks. We got deaf (almost) and I (almost) can’t speak today. But I still think it was amazing!

All in all, if you’ve missed this, I think you’ve missed out loads big time. Maybe, we can sing for you la. I don’t wanna upload the 4 videos I took. There’s just too much of my sucky voice in it that I think you shouldn’t spoil your ear drums with my horrible singing.

Growing up listening to them, singing their songs have truly been an inspiration for me. Being who I am, singing at times, I realised, I’ve prolly got my vocal trainings from them.

Many people have said I eat too much. Okay, no. I won’t deny that but I want you to know that life’s to no good if you stop eating right? Okay, I am giving myself a thousand excuses for eating non stop and not taking a break to exercise.

So, my recent spot was to Sumeragi Shio Restaurant, located at Sri Petaling; formerly known as Asatei Restaurant. It is a simple, cozy restaurant which I personally think it puts me no where in the globe. Reason being, it serves the best of both words – dim sum and sushi. I can’t seem to tell you if I were in Hong Kong or Japan.

I know this picture below shows how bored I was while waiting for the food to arrive. To tell you the truth, I got a chance of an all-you-can-eat here in this restaurant. Don’t curse at me cause I know dim sum and sushi does cost a lot these days. But, here’s my point – hygiene. This restaurant was clean and well managed.So, while I was busy deciding on which to eat first – sushi or dim sum. I failed miserably. So, whichever came, I ate. No order, no sequence. Hot, cold apa apa jelah! Yeah, thats me lah. Why waste time thinking RIGHT? And some Unagi came about. Fans of Unagi, this is good stuffs. As this is an ala-carte buffet, I get to order things fresh from the pan and the oven, and the, fridge or whatever. So, this fu chuk, meaty and juicy, and they actually stuffed a lot of prawns inside. But, it came hot and crunchy. Deliciousss tau! Apparently, THIS is one of the specialty. I was quite reluctant to try since it was orange in colour and it looked flippin’ weird. But, I heard it is sweet and nice. Okay, I seriously did not taste this. The normal dimsums you can get it here too. Eat 1 to a hundred. It’s all paid for already kan? Potato Salad. I have been called weird for being such a herbivore actually. But this is really nicely done and it is fresh. Lettuce with potato salad. The potatoes were smashed nicely and it blends really well with the vegetable. This, gyoza, I actually think it caught my taste buds for a bit. The usual I ate, is usually loose and light, but this is friggin’ meaty. It feels a lil like meatball-ish. But it does has it’s own unique taste. Try it with the ginger and vinegar. I think it’s super best! Katsu. You hafta order this. This is just so delicious. The meat is really tender and nice. I think it’s better than KFC, for one reason, it is boneless! I just proved again how lazy I am. And more dim sums! This is really freshly done. Best. This taste weird to me. If you are some adventurous food freak, please try and let me know. I can’t seem to find a word to describe it. The ziao lung bao. I don’t know how to spell. But this is juicy and splashy. I splashed my colleague eating it. That shows kan? Salmon Sushis.Chee Cheung Fun. I think the texture could be slightly lighter. Despite it all, I think it still taste good.This was best la I tell you. I like fried stuffs. Not like you don’t know? Fried lobak. Fresh and it has so much egg that makes it so friggin’ tasty. Must try. Must order. All in all, good hangout place and a good lepak place if you want a place for an all-you-can-eat.

Westlife, the fourth biggest selling pop band with 44 million records sold and has an album with most number 1 hits is coming to your neighbourhood. This team is also one of the most successful debut debut boy band artist. What’s more, Westlife is also the top artist with the most consecutive Top 5 Hits.

Growing up in a radio environment, Westlife has been definitely one of my favourite band. Despite the change in the music I listen to, when Westlife starts playing, I start humming, or even singing.

This boy band which used be in a group of 5, now 4 is also the biggest selling Irish band from 2000 to 2009 and have been in the industry for 13 years.

This group originally consists Shane Filan, Nicky Byrne, Mark Feehily, Kian Egan and Brian McFadden, who left the group in the year 2004.

1st Day of Hari Raya

So, in the past 20 years of my life, Hari Raya was just a Public Holiday. I mean, the reason I look forward to it, it’s because it’s holidays. So, what do you do during Hari Raya?

I don’t know if it’s because I got older, or maybe perhaps, the ads all over the place sink into me this year. And I felt a lil more of the Raya spirit. I looked forward to some Rendang and all; though I did not have any invitations. I shamelessly offered myself. Haha. Nah, just kidding.

But I think it was more productive than the usual Rayas. I spent most of the days with my family ~~being a good boy, like I always am~~.

Went for a family war, bowling! Okay, we do that quite often, especially when we get to hang out together. But it was really fun, especially when I get to beat my brother in bowling! You know, I feel damn semangat after that! :P

And we had quite a simple dinner and I thought it’s pointless I blog about it.

Being a Malaysian, it’s Raya, so we became a lil more Malay; where we actually went to Rasa Utara for a great dinner. I felt like a VVIP, no one was in the restaurant except us. 6 staffs to serve and cook for us. Yes, the kitchen area is visible.

Here you get the Rendang with Rice. The rendang is a lil sweet but spicy. If you’re not too afraid of chilli hot, yeah, try it. I’ve to say that the rice is unique. I can’t describe la.This is the Mee Rebus. So, thinking about it, my dad said that Mee Rebus in Rasa Utara is a lil inconsistent. But well, he took the risk and ordered it anyway. I don’t know why. I wasn’t too impress with the menu. And I went on with an ordinary choice. Fish and Chips ala Malaysia. Eh, still got the Malaysia word behind okay? I’ve to say the fish was amazing! The chips were ordinary. But the fish. Yes, very power la! So damn best! This is another amazing dish. It’s a lil pricy. But I’m sure it’s good stuffs. The meat is just succulent and juicy. It’s the Rasa Utara Satay! :) The sauce is damn good too. There you go, the sauce. Best tau! Mesti cuba! :) All in all, I’ve heard of it’s inconsistencies but I think it’s no harm giving it a try. Good food doesn’t hurt right? And if it’s bad, just tell the world like we always do la!

My 21st Birthday.

So, turning 21 was all the happy moments. Apart from the last minute frustrations of who to invite, when to have it and you know it, Imma just a great procrastinator. And maybe, I work best at such times.

So, track back a lil. On my actual birthday, my boss at (@ilovediscountmy) actually brought me and Yen Fen for lunch. We somehow walked around and we ended up at Marmalade, Bangsar Village.

Being a pasta fan, I went for the Grilled Chicken Pesto Spaghetti. I thought the taste was weird initially, but after a bite or two, i started to fall in love with it. It’s addictive. If you hate the smell of vegetables of pesto, this is so not yours. The olives makes it taste great too. Thinking about it, I should just head there and grab a bite one of these days. I love indulging in good food. At night, my parents decided to bring me out for a walk. I ended up getting myself some really good tees and some jeans and khakis, which I thought it actually summed up the 2 years I’ve not bought pants.

Being someone who has a sweet teeth, mum offered for Haagen Dazs. Apa lagi? Sapu only la right! The last I had a proper Haagen Dazs (not in scoops, but in a mega serving) was a few years back in Penang.

So, here you go. I indulge in this great stuff. I won’t mind going back for it again. Any takers? It’s best to have it when you share it with friends la. No selfish selfish all. =) And here comes the weekend, where I had a party. Well, a dinner in a way. I don’t party hard anyways. Imma good boy. So, in a celebration, the Malaysian way; we can never do without food right? So, here’s all the super fooood you can see. And of randomness, I actually think that the Yong Tau Fu is super good, and the Satay is more than just awesome! Betul la. Tak tipu. Now, I feel like heading to the Haji Samuri near MRR2 for some good good satays! Another offer, anyone? As usual, this is the bunch who takes the most pictures most of the time. They are just best best crazy kawans! Lovin’ them to bits. They make my days on the weekends, and maybe sometimes, the weekdays too.

Some friends and family over at my party. See, I just proved my point. They take more pictures than I do. And, here you go. I am hungry looking at it all now. Serious. No Joke! See the Yong Tau Fu? :P I don’t know what to say, but look at her face! Someone asked me about the caterer, and the interior. So, I’ve got a horse there. Thinking about it, I think I was actually born in the Year of the Horses. But I don’t know how to ride a horse, neither do I talk to the horse. Satay Satay Satay! I am going back to Haji Samuri sometime this week. I don’t care! Me with the fatness looks. I call it indulgence, but many call it fattening. But this picture definitely beat my picture hands down la! Nick, you win! Ice kacang. I have this weird thing I don’t know why. I ask for Ice Kacang kosong; where there’s only crushed ice. I will then pour cordial in it and just eat it that way. I think, now, I have issues kan? I had my food. I felt like a superstar. People came to take pictures of me. This is shameless captions of myself (and the food) They wanted to be superstars that day too! So, I gave them a chance. Err, I said I gave them a chance.Sorry for the hideous pictures. My sister held the camera all the time. I hardly took my phone out for pictures except for Tweeting. I think my iPhone pictures might look better! Family. =) We don’t know which camera was flashing so, we just turn our heads 180 degrees. A bigger family, with aunties and uncles. :D This was a photo I insist that I must take. My grandma (dad’s side) and my grandpa (mum’s side) that I told myself I’ve gotta take this. Not that I’m thinking of anything mean, but hey, they are my grandparents. They are oldies. They watched me grow. Okay, the other 2 apes that came out of the jungle. They drive me up the wall but yet at times, it’s still all good. Some church friends that came. I think Min Han looks really fierce! :P See, I think the jungle opened up it’s way for them to be there with me. I am blessed. =D I thought I’d just show something to make you remember this post. So, this was the only picture that might put this post in your mind. How a guy tried to kiss another guy on his birthday. Not just an ordinary birthday, but my 21st birthday! More church friends. I remember how I grew up with them every time I see this picture. How can my Uni mates be exempted right? I wanna highlight the girl on the right. She is as usual, crazy. If the pictures below shows her jumping and all, I think she came out from the jungle too! :P I actually really love this pic! =) And here’s where the game actually began. I was splashed, more like poured water on. No ice water this round. So, I think it’s still cool. And I think it was like drama. Everyone’s watching! Here’s my dad secretary who was reluctant, but made to take a picture of my wet self. I was like all wet. Wet to the very wet. See, I told you. Drama kan!?!?! Everyone’s looking! :D Got changed. More uni friends came later to hang out. Check out Edmund’s face on the right. I don’t know what his mouth was trying to do. I really don’t. From the jungle? Or maybe more like from APIIT. Jeng Jeng Jeng. I tak tau what’s this. So, this was a belated party with the I Love Discounts team. We rock. So, they celebrated mine and Yen Fen’s (Web Designers) birthday together. Hers was later in August. So, a small cake. We got Starbucks vouchers too! Our company loves us to the max. Super max! :D And of course, these are the gifts I got. Truly happy about it. The Super Heroes thingy was awesome. I got a Superman iPhone 4 cover. I think thats just too awesome. I feel the power now. Topman and Soda gave me great attires.

Machines? Don’t be deceive. It’s still tshirt! But with all your generosity, I am buying a MacBook. So, I’ll still be a happy boy! :D

Life Before 21.

The bad thing about having a birthday party is when everyone you know for quite a period of time comes to you and say, “Wah, so big boy already. I saw you grow up” and things that revolves just that. Oh, and maybe another thing, “Wah, so big boy already. So leng chai. Got girlfriend ah?”. I think that this was definitely one of the hottest question I was being asked when I turned 21 a few weeks back.

I actually so wanted to blog about my birthday itself, but then I thought, let’s make this a little more elaborate than my usual posts. I thought I wanted to really reflect (yeah, big word) on how things have been in my life the past 21 years? Without a shadow of doubt, I am grateful for even just the 21 years of (good) life I have had.

And of course, there have been many “highs” and “lows” in my life, but I am actually grateful that I scrape through it all.

So, let me go through some bits here and there of my life before turning 21.

Been a child, I have always been called “Andy Lau” by my uncles and aunties. Don’t ask me why. I think I was MADE to take this picture.

And one of my kindergarten buddy – Dorcas. And yes, that's my blur face.Then I grew up slightly older, got cooler and entered a kindergarten. When I took a flash back on all these pictures, I chuckled to myself and say, “Oh, cutenya!” Yes, obviously my SYOK SENDIRI moments.

This was when I was 4, 5 and then I went on to be a specky at 6. And yes, I graduated okay. I was a brilliant student. Haha.

To look back, I wasn’t an outstanding student back at St John’s – Primary. Nothing amazing I did. Or prolly, just being a nice guy who always gets bullied. Either that, or I was always being punished by my teachers. Yes, I’ve been punished crazily many times. I am not ask good as you think I am lah.

And to cut the primary school story short, i was just an ordinary student. Going through life like you did.

But life became more interesting when I got into Secondary School. It’s because I finally know how to fought back. Hahaha.

In fact, I got more active in my Secondary School years. I had more friends. I had more feelings. I had more emotions.

But one thing for sure in my early Secondary School years, I had a crush. Shh. What Where How Who? No gossip girls here. I’ve said it and it ends here.

But one of the things I miss about high school? My amazing alma mater and my school mates.

We at St John’s, we do everything except studying. Okay, I speak for myself lah. Yes, we don’t care even if we are in the lab. We go all out to fool around. So, who says guys can’t pose again? Yes, when we try to act nerdy. We tend to fail miserably. And yes, I miss wearing my blazers.

Yes, we tried to pose AGAIN.. And we obviously FAILED. Chiu and Bryan’s fault! It was Chiu again, and did you spot the headphones wire? :P This took us sooo long okay? And well, yes, being involved in DRAMA. I miss being a part of the Drama Team.

Okay, in actual fact, I think I actually miss skipping class for 2 months more. :P But we had loads of fun. We acted, practised and changed scripts. How amazing is that right?

Yes, we acted champions even though we aren’t champions. Are we over confident or just “syok sendiri”?

And of course there were many other memories that happened back in high school.

And in this period of time, I came to know someone, and we became like the bestest friends ever. The happy moments flew by in a year. Things were all good, all great, all going the way it should be and until something cropped up.

Being someone sentimental, I find myself trapped in my own emotions. I was a slave to my own emotions for quite a while losing this friend of mine. I told myself so many things, I had so many sleepless nights, I did so many things to save the friendship but to no avail. I told myself I would never wanna get so dependent on a friend or on anyone at all anymore.

But recently, I think I found myself being in the same similar situation AGAIN. Yes, I’m trying hard. But sometimes, it’s really easier said than done? I wish I could care less. I wish I could brush off these disappointments. I wish I could just say, “Oh, it’s okay lah. Anything. Up to you.”. But you know, sometimes, LIFE IS LIFE. And maybe that’s just my weakness. But I don’t want to be a slave to my own emotions again. It’s really tiring.

And life goes on..

Not too long later, a friend of mine, a classmate of a highschool passed away in the Cornell. It was declared sudden death. At that point of time, I did wonder why was life this way. He was the smartest boy in St John’s. He is the one who challenges all the answers from the teachers. And it really came as a great surprise.

I’ve came to a point where “Life is Short” sink in.

I then of course came out of high school and I knew another bunch of new friends. If you are asking me if I got culture shock, I think I did for a short period of time. Haha.

But things got better. I actually thought college life was easier.

I met a brand new bunch of ~~apes~~ friends. Cool bunch I’d say. A good mixture of studious and notorious kids. I am of course the good boy la. So the studious kind.

Yes, they often much torture me. But yeah, it’s still all cool.

No, we’re not nerds.

And one of the highlights of my past few years, I thought.. Would also to have successfully brought ADORE up, by the grace of God.

A concert which has happened for the past 3 years and has blessed over 1500 lives of the youngster. Truly an awesome thing I’d remember in my life. The team that was behind my back. The team that gave me great support. Yes, they are a bunch of adorable awesome gang that I’ve ever had! :))

I won’t mind working with them again. Like, really. I am excited to see how ADORE will continue to be an event that will bless the youths around.

And in the above particular year, DrummerforChrist joined us as special guests too!

I think these are just some of the highlights of me before turning 21.

There could be more.

Bad Ass Coffee, Tropicana City Mall

Like it or not, everyone has our own bad side. Just that this little picture here says that I Love My Bad Ass Attitude. It does has some attitude in it, don’t you think so?

Located at one of the new PJ Hangout Spots, Tropicana City Mall is definitely one of the place you have to go. With reasonable crowd and spacious walking space, it’s definitely a place to chill out, do some window shopping and just take a break from the jams.

Bad Ass Coffee, a very unique name, located at Tropicana City Mall; near towards the Office Towers, is definitely one place that caught my eye. You get a real Hawaiian feeling in there because of the setting. It’s not just any ordinary coffee shop or coffee chain, but this one stands unique because of the food, pastries, cakes and of course drinks they serve.

My personal favourite? The doughnuts and the Double Chocolate blend is definitely something to go for everytime I head there. I’ve been drinking the same drink for at least 5 times now, and it never fails me. And I thought I might as well mention it, I think I’ve had at least 3-4 times of the doughnuts now. It does sometimes runs outta stocks though!

Bad Ass Coffee is probably one of the very few places that serves Kona coffee – a type of coffee beans cultivated all the way from Hawaii. It is one of the most sought after coffees in the world, but via some wonderful cosmic arrangement, the relatively unsophisticated coffee drinking crowd here in Malaysia gets a franchise.

- KY Speaks And this is just 1 of the few doughnuts pictures I took, it’s big huge and sugary. And the texture of it is just beyond words. But caution, you might have to have a big mouth to finish it. Haha.And really, please go grab yourself this Double Chocolate Blend thingy, it’s just worth all your money; and of course the ever so delicious doughnuts.

Quick Post: Urbanscapes 2011

You know when I was trying to post this up, I was thinking to myself if I should defend myself for not updating this page, or should I just act like I didn’t know that it has been THAT long I’ve not updated.

Fine. I decided to elaborate on how life has been. No, I ain’t whining.

Life has changed a lot since I have (proudly) entered my next chapter of life; as I stepped into my 21st. Things seems “real” to me, things seems “scary” to me, end seems “near” to me. Cut the crap, things has changed.

Emotions in and out. Reminiscing about the past heartaches, the past heartbreaks. I ain’t sure if it’s something I am proud of, but I now stand tall because of the things I’ve gone through in life. Though there are still a few wishes that I really hope to fulfill, or to get it; but my point is, things has been different.

I’ve grown up. Cut the crap, Urbanscapes was another event I told myself I shan’t missed after going for last year’s. It is the city’s all day creative art festival. Being an artsy person, this is something that you shouldn’t missed. I got my tickets from FONGFEIKEI. The huge Entrance.

This was something I think it’s really amazing. It’s a role play by 3 persons in a 2 character slot featuring Kueh Jen Han, Douglas Lim and one more, I can’t remember. They call for pause as and when they wanna replace a character, and they get to change the entire plot. It’s really really funny! :P It sounded terribly wrong too! :p This was from KakiSeni, it was a very cool cherograph. Something I’ve not seen, but I won’t mind seeing it again. I get to admire people spraying the “i dont know what”, and these people were really creative. This is true Malaysian, if you are asking me What is true Malaysian? The smiles, the hope, the love, the sincerity in the picture below, you know Malaysia has hope. Different people of different colours coming together, for one common purpose. It’s cliché but it’s true. The picture below, I just wanted to show the amazing light weight, convenient, stylish chair. Don’t you think it’s so comfortable? It was selling at RM 25 per piece. You get LIVE Bands performing, and I thought the sound was really good. Some futsal game, or ping pong games? You can get a drink, chat, lepak too! :D This is another side stage where you see more performance. Truly, Malaysia has too many hidden things and talents. One amazing poet, I admire. I truly admire her bravery, her sarcasm and her heart. She has a heart with such great conviction of the future of Malaysia and what she really believes him. And what Malaysia is currently like.

She was sarcastically enough to be understood by people of all there! More chairs. I told you I love them! :P Some other random shots taken. And I really do think this is something you should not and cannot miss. Urbanscapes is an amazing place for you to express yourself through arts and music.

Cows Should Fly in Malaysia – Malaysia and The Media

WARNING: This post is gonna be messy. Super messy. It’ll just be random thoughts that comes through my mind.

Many things has been happening endlessly in Malaysia the past few weeks, or the past month, I’d say.

But one most disappointing thing that’s within me is the way things are handled, the way things are said and of course, the way things are done.

Few days back, I was reading the papers. I find those stories so amusing. I read further. To my surprise, I actually thought those news were more interesting than story books. I saw sarcastic remarks, I saw twisted fact, and more so, I saw injustice and cover-ups.

And the first thought that came to my mind, “Cows Should Fly in Malaysia”. When I was reading further, I can’t even relate the things said and the things that had happened. More so, as I was surfing the net with news updates and more, I thought things like these doesn’t even tally.

Another thought came, who is speaking the truth? Which story seems more believable?

Reading further in the newspapers, things did not complement. Neither did they went in ONE.

The above was when I was reading the case of a guy who was interrogated and who “commited suicide” apparently.

Next, the big city closure which I think everyone would definitely remembered.

As a 21 year old ~~child~~, instead of thinking deeper, the first thought that came to my mind? Why is the government so afraid of a peaceful demonstration which was just demand for a clean and fair election.

People (or more so the Media), always says that they (the Government) has NOTHING TO HIDE. Their actions did not justify what they said. That’s for sure.

And to think that the nation would hate the rally for the road blocks, I kinda think that it was the other way round.

This was not all. In about a week, the police asked if the nation had videos or proofs of violence and more to show. I thought the videos were obvious and I was feeling each video, each wound, each hurt. And the outcome was.. Expected.

Is our Media this predictable these days? Is it the monopolised?

And facing the fact, being a Media student here, makes me wonder: “Would I ever write such a piece of news in the future?”. I pondered. Am I going to go against my own conscience to write things that I strongly don’t feel and don’t believe in?

Yesterday, I thought came another interesting piece of news. From this day, I might just call the newspaper, story books.

A billionaire owns a “gold ship” somewhere in the world?

I did not want to guess, but my mind and heart did made a conclusion.

But my point is this, is Media (or newspapers, to be more accurate), a place for sarcasm, a place for bickering, a place for stories?

I think it’s way more than that. With all that happening 2 weeks ago, I told myself, I’m gonna vote. And at least, my 1 vote could make a difference.

People around me has been talking about, why vote? It doesn’t really matter. If 100 people thinks like you, there goes a hundred votes.

Well, I think I’ve gone beyond the political parties. And I think people should too. It’s more about voting for who you think can serve you and the country.

On a side note, I was disappointed with the recent grammatical errors on the newspaper. I’ve seen 1 in The Star, 2 in New Straits Times.

I wonder how this journey as a Media student will take me. But if no one chooses to be the change, let me be. I mean, IF lah!

Ever wondered where you can dine and party at the same time; at the same place?

At Celsius Restaurant and Bar located conveniently and strategically at Fahrenheit88, you get to dine and party all at the same place.

This is one of the bar in town which serves you loads of variety of good food. The mushroom soup! It is too western-ish for me. Very thick mushroomy. If you love the real, thick mushroom soup, you should really try this! Oh, they also serve Asian food, apart from Western. They promote a fusion menu which offers loads of good stuffs.

The mushroom and brocolli. Simple. If you are a big fan of toufu, yes, be like me. And go mad over these toufu! I forgot what this was named, but you actually know that it’s quite a typical Indian food. Nachos! Nachos! and more Nachos! I first learn how to eat this at Chillis, but you get to bite on this too at Chillis. And now, I am a big fan! More of Asian food, you also get some Cantonese Fried Noodles.Big prawns, though I don’t eat them. Fish and Chips. One thing I’ve to say, the Belgium Chips at Celsius is extremely amazing. They are crunchy and just nice to bite. It is quite addictive. You have been warned. You get this Salmon thingy too. As usual, I suck at the names. But I got to try this. Yes, it’s tender and soft. Didn’t manage to try the potato, But I like the design of it. Haha. More and more of Asian foooood. And more and more of Western food. I recommend you the Belgium Chips. Hahaha. With the variety of food, you shouldn’t run anywhere! And morrrrrrrrrrre!

Oh, they have quite an amazing variety of desserts. And I have to say the desserts are really well decorated. I can see the effort of each design, each curves and more! This is the Chocolate Lava. It does tastes a little like Milo, according to BRYANLYT, but I thought it was really nice. The heat in it, eat it with ice cream. Wooshhh! It reminds me of the Ice Cream Apple Crumble in Australia. Hmm. Anyone to bake it for me? :D

With an array of Asian and Western dishes, you should just sit there, dine there.. And of course, end it with a Party. They are encouraging people who patronise them to dine and party at the same location instead of changing locations to party.

Magical Musicals – A West End Production, Amphitheatre @ Sunway Lagoon.

So, I have been procrastinating much. I have been doing things I should not be doing, ranting about things I should not be ranting.

But here is definitely something short I wanna share.

Being a fan of musicals and plays, I' actually thought this was one amazing musical I’ve watched.

I’ve watched many, many musicals previously. One of the most memorable Musical that I have watched was Sound of Music. I can remember almost everything and anything!

But, this is 1 musical to watch if you have not watched.

This musical stood up to me because I really thought that the vocals, arrangements and dance were amazing.

I thought the vocals was superb. The voices, the harmonies, the medleys – beyond words.

I was tempted to dance along. No joke. But the attendance was slightly disappointing. But I was tapping my feet all the way, singing to those amazing tunes.

Sorry, the recording quality wasn’t too good. But yeah, it’s still something worth listening to.

I mean, you hardly get to go watch such things in Malaysia.

Before I forget, I actually got the tickets all thanks to Tourism Selangor. They are one awesome bunch.

In short, I don’t want to say too much. You have probably the next few days to catch it.

But if you have some good musicals to share and recommend, yes, you sure must tell me about it!

MTV Worldstage Passes Winner

So, I think I’ve teased enough. Most of you are probably ready with their knives and parang ready to stab and slash me.

So, yes, I tweeted about it about 4-5 days back that I am giving away 1 pair of MTV Worldstage Passes. And the mechanics were to guess a number form 1-999 for every 1 RT of my Tweet.

Smajo’s Pizza, Palma Poolside / Bukit Bintang

So, recently I got to taste some good stuffs. Really good stuffs. It’s Smajo’s Pizza; a new kid to the Pizza world.

I did the whole tasting and “gluttoning” in Palma Poolside. It was just 2 pizzas, but I thought it was good enough for a great lunch.

Chef Ismail, is a chef from an Island far far away, ~~I am writing this cause I actually forgot where he is from. But no, not a local.~~

This is a pizza you definitely much eat and try if you always complain that “They don’t put enough of this, they don’t put enough of that”. At Smajo’s, they believe that whether or not you are a blogger, a guest, or whoever, you’d still get the same full amount of ingredients.

Isn’t that awesome. Okay, I honestly hate double-standards. Thats a fact. So, these are the 2 awesome pizzas I got to try. Don’t you think it’s amazing. You also have to know this: I had these pizzas by the poolside. Damn amazing I tell you. It’s just aweeeeesome viewwww. It’s crazily windy and relaxing.

I am gonna give you some ideas. Yeah, my mind’s all over. If you wanna watch hot chics, yeah, maybe you should just have a meal there. But.. That’s obviously not the point. It’s just good good pizza! I know I gained weight, look at the pizzas, not me! I love pineapples, the one with turkey and pineapples are so so so delicious. It’s nothing like an ordinary pizza you get. You get way more than the usual “Hawaiian Pizza”! This was the first time I think I had 4 pieces. Crazy I tell you. Now you know why I gained weight. Blame the pizza. It’s too awesomepossum!There are even more pizzas for your selection. And you definitely must try. If you are cheese, don’t blame me, but I think you’ll be jelak-tified! Haha.

Random: Long Long Roti Tissue

Recently I had a meet up with my Godparent’s child, my Godbrother la in a way.

So, we had supper. And we had roti tissue. I was amused and amazed with the long-ness of the roti tissue and how they actually serve it.

Yes, it’s amazingly not too sweet, and I love it’s crisp.

So, my life has been all about Eating recently. My cousin told me yesterday, “You only have 1 life to be fat”. Ohhkay, fine. But not toooo fat.

Recently, I was invited to Tapas Bistro and Bar at Micasa All Suite Hotel courtesy of I LOVE DISCOUNTS and mann, that place is rocking awesome. I mean it’s just so cozy. If it was earlier, I think the pool view has been awesome. Not that I am perverted. Dim romantic lightings brings the best out of the place. Not too dim though, just nice for a good dinner with family for chats and hang outs. They have a bar in the centre too. I don’t drink. Not commenting. Food arrived, at the Director of Sales Ms Pamela actually served us. Not really served, but I love her hospitality. So, I don’t know why pictures of me eating always get into action. Makes me look extremely fat and it makes me look like I glutton. But repeat with me, “You only have 1 life to get fat” Great talk across the table with lil background light music for our entertainment. Okay, I admit I gluttoned. But the beef burger thingy was awesomesauce. The fries are actually made of real potatoes – thick, long, crispy. No, not what you are thinking. Awesome ambience with tidy decoration.Asian Delights: Char Kuey Teow. The portion was really good. It was tasty in it’s own unique way with prawns and some sotong in it. It’s no ordinary Char Kuey Teow by the roadside.

Asian Delights: Claypot Yee Mee

It actually tastes really good. It’s really Asian. You get mushrooms, sotong, eggs, prawns (and ginger). LOL. This is TAPAS, their specialty and unique food. Dip it with the special bread and it tastes really good. It wasn’t at all oily (though it looks like it) and it’s really light. Asian Delights: Nasi Lemak.

Awesome good stuffs. You get more than the “biasa” – prawns, kangkung, rendang. But this is really good stuffs. I think I loved this the most. It’s really good and filling for one meal. :) Hello Tomato Meatballs. You were more than awesome. Tender, soft and chewy. Though I did think your balls came a little to big for my one bite mouth! :P Western Delights: Beef Burger.

I was too full when this came out, but you need to know I ate. Don’t judge me! :P And the patty was made by the store itself. I like the tenderness of the patty and how one mouth can’t bite the bun, egg, patty and garnishing in it. And not forgetting the fries, if you always think those small tiny fries are not your thing, this IS your thing! So, all in all, it’s a place you and me should go. Hangout together. Take a chat. Catchup and Crap.

Swan Lake Korean Restaurant, Sri Petaling

So, I was thinking as to what to write or blog about since I’ve numerous pending posts. I know, it doesn’t sound too good on me.

This is a restaurant located at Sri Petaling, the new area where the hype is starting to build up – Swan Lake Korean Restaurant.This place has very traditional and unique architecture; though it does not have the capacity to be a boutique restaurant yet. But that was what I felt when I entered. See, I told you that my psychic mind tells me their original plan was to make it a boutique restaurant. I like the unique floorings. I am weird. This place is excellent for hang out. It’s spacious, it’s cozy and it’s like a place where people can chill, scream and even do what they want lah. :P If you think this place can easily be packed, no way. It’s huge. Here’s the food shots for this restaurant. I’d say it tastes pretty weird. But I gotta confess; I AM NO FAN OF KOREAN FOOD.

So, I’d think the mentions below are based on my jurisdiction. If it tastes worst than what I wrote, forgive me. If it tastes better than what I wrote, then good for you lah! Haha This is a kind of Korean BBQ Meat. On my first bite, I thought it smell weird (I AM WEIRD). But on my consecutive few rounds, I thought it tastes really good. You know those rendang meat? The meat does feel like those. On my last few bites, I prolly got the fatter meat, so I wasn’t too keen. But I like the onion and the way it is served though. Hot and sizzling. :D Don’t be deceived, the picture below is a picture which has not been cooked. It was for illustration purposes only. I personally like the dishes in the hot pot, but not the prawns obviously. I am no fan of seafood, if you’ve not noticed. I feel like a star when a picture of mine is snapped #random Ohai, by the way, this is XIANG. The blogger who went with me for this food tasting. I can’t remember if it was my first bite, middle bite, or last bites. I do look bored and I do look like a kid playing with food. But hey, life is meant to be enjoyed, no? Welcome to the life of a 12 year old. :)) This is the porridge hot pot. Not a big fan of porridge but I have to admit that the porridge really had the taste of the dishes in it. The prawns, mushrooms and all really made the porridge tastes good. Well, who ever didn’t know that putting prawns and all into a porridge of soup makes it tastes good kan? I like this soup. It tastes a bit like Maggi Sup, but the stuffs inside is wayyyy better than Maggi Soup. This is no cheap stuffs. Oh, I like it boiling. It kinda gets me going cause it makes me feel hawt! :P They have some red dates in it to get the whole thing going too. I like those red dates. Who doesn’t? :P It was crazily frigging hot and the photographer chose to take this picture. No, I’m not afraid of it being spicy. See, we were both slurping soup. The soup was undeniably quite nice. This was the porridge version of it. I know it doesn’t look as appetising as it should be, but it still does have good stuffs in it. Oh, I like the Blueberry drink. Or was it blackberry. Either way, some sort of berry juice turns me on. Haha. Kidding. :P

Well, it’s worth a try. I won’t say it is extremely fantatatastic. But if you are looking for a chillout place, a Korean Chinese Restaurant, a convenient and spacious area, consider this place.
