Hi Crafter's

Sorry it's been rather a long time since I have been into my little blog to update it.

It's just one of those things life gets in the way.

Oh well better get on with showing you what I have been up to......

Here is a ruby wedding anniversary I made using my Pazzles Inspirations to cut the card shape and the large 40. I run the 40 through the big shot in an <img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/ThePinkshopBlog/~4/z3eBYpEscH8" height="1" width="1"/>

Silver 60

Hi Crafter's

This card started life as an experiment. Here is a variation on the shaker card....

It's one of those games where you have to get the little balls in the holes.

These are so much fun to make. And difficult to put down when you have received one.

Hi Everyone

My Husband Grahame is taking part in the Manchester to Blackpool bicycle night ride

29th September 2012

To help raise money for the British Heart foundation.

The bike ride starts 11.00pm at the Trafford Centre in Manchester

And finishes at Blackpool tower in Blackpool

This is a worthy charity in my opinion

Just a quick little post to show a card

I was asked if I would do this as a class project after making the baby shower card a couple of weeks ago.
For this card I coloured the quilling strips 3 different colours with my alcohol ink markers instead of gluing three colours together. This way I got just the colours I wanted.
The sentiment is from a Hobby art sentiment set.

So here is what I did.

You will need fine corrugated card ( used in card making ), 15 cocktail sticks and PVA glue.

When choosing your cocktail sticks make sure they are as smooth as possible with no nicks or <img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/ThePinkshopBlog/~4/Um8vrLOt61o" height="1" width="1"/>

Quilled scallop border.

Hi crafter's

I popped over to the Less is More site this afternoon to have a look to see what the challenge is for this week.
And the Challenge for this week is.......

The dog image is one I drew my self and decoupaged it for this card.

As I said, just quick post so that's it for now. Thank you for visiting my little blog and I'll see you again soon.<img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/ThePinkshopBlog/~4/SAfBGuA8104" height="1" width="1"/>

I descoverd Husking . Gosh it has been a while since my last post. I hadn't realised it had been so long.

In the past few weeks I have been playing around with husking using a quilling comb after I discovered a couple of tutorials on you tube.
After looking at several blogs around the net on the subject I made this card. I didn't have a quilling comb so decided to make myself one with cocktail <img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/ThePinkshopBlog/~4/4BmSl0B5NXc" height="1" width="1"/>

<link rel="alternate" type="text/html" href="http://feedproxy.google.com/~r/ThePinkshopBlog/~3/4BmSl0B5NXc/i-descoverd-husking-quilling-with-comb.html" title="I descoverd Husking . Well I've just got back from my weekend away. The weather hasn't been very good but it has been a fantastic 4 days. We went to York for the duration of the Queens Diamond Jubilee where there was a host of street entertainers from buskers to acrobats.

As well as the Queens Jubilee it was my Husbands birthday and here is the card I made for him.

I know this is going to sound strange but I was in Next the other week looking for some new jeans and a nice top. Then I saw THIS TOP and thought that would make a great card. So I got out my note book and jotted down my inspiration.

Here is my card

I punched the flowers from vellum I then arranged and glued them onto strips also cut from the vellum. I stamped them up with <img src="http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/ThePinkshopBlog/~4/qBVMn-ci-04" height="1" width="1"/>
