Every year in May a group of 85(ish) Tucson scrapbookers come together for 12 solid hours of bliss. Bliss, if you’re a scrapbooker, that is. If you’re not, you may not appreciate the crazy.

We go all out. There is a new theme every year. In the past the theme has been based on Cinco De Mayo, Fiesta, “Scraparitaville”, Disney Movies and the Oldies. Each large table has a table hostest and a theme within the theme. Then the embellishments and toile start flying.

This year? Our table is based on the Sex in the City movies. We called it “Scissors in the City”. Our table hostess and my good friend, Nicki, did an amazing job planning the decor…

I love internet radio. Its so nice to listen to {relatively} commercial free music. And not just “whatever” music. Music based on your preferences.

Most days, I spend 90% of my time here…

and I usually have some sort of music playing…something classical, country…yay, even easily listening (a.k.a. “Elevator Music”) from years of growing up with Ray Connif and the Lemon Sisters. At the time I hated it; now its comforting.

So I was excited to get the chance to try out the Q2, a fun little wireless internet radio in the shape of a cube. And I’m totally impressed. 

There are no knobs, no buttons, no cords…nothing. All you do is turn the cube on a new side to change to one of four preset stations. Even changing the volume is a simple twist forward or back.

Driven by the internet radio system on the q2 website and powered by a rechargeable battery, the set up and programing is super easy and takes less than 10 minutes. Because of its small size, its easy and convenient to take anywhere and the sound quality is surprisingly very good for such a small unit.

So many great colors for Mother’s Day.

How to modify the color In Photoshop Elements:

1. Open the png file.

2. Go to Enhance>Adjust Color>Adjust Hue/Saturation. Use the sliders to change the hue, saturation and lightness.

3. Click Ok, then save the file.

…In Photoshop:

1. Upload the png file.

2. Go to Image>Adjustments>Hue/Saturation. Use the sliders to change the hue, saturation and lightness.

3. Click Ok, then save the file.

…On PhotoBucket.com:

1. Upload the png file.

2. In the album, hover over the image and select Edit. Then select Adjust and use the sliders to change the hue, saturation and lightness.

3. Click Done.

The default size of the icons is 100x118px. That will give you plenty of wiggle room for sizing appropriately for your blog. Typically, an icon will be around 50x50px and you can resize in your photo editor or when you upload to your blogging platform.
