Of course I love my others herbs, but since they don't need too much attention and seems okay with the heat and humidity here (I have plenty and abundantly herbs like oregano, thymes, cilantro, parsley, fennel. rosemary, dill, mint, chives, jalapeno, serrano and even the hottest chili in the world; the famous Bhut Jolokia), I put a lot of attention much more to my lavender. To make it even crazier I also greet them every morning or every time I see them in my garden, like "hello little fella, how are you today? is there anything okay with you?" or "hi my little beautiful darling lavender, do you have enough water?"

I also play for them the top forty songs from radio, I believe all my herbs like to hear Katy Perry or Agnes Monica songs.

Because this morning I feel really bad since I wake up (dizziness, stiff neck, flatulance...yuck), I want to make myself a bit fresh and orange. I just follow what Dori chanted in Finding Nemo 'keep swimming...keep swimming' but change the last word by 'trying'.
Generally, the Lavenders are not well suited to the humid tropical region, mostly where I live in Bandung which so rainy and so humid and hot in dry season.
I have dilemmatic situation here, too much water will kill lavender, they hate wet in their root system, but heat will also dry them to death.
Time to time I have kill so many lavender, baby lavender, young adult lavender, they were all now rest in peace. Mostly because of too much love, eh I mean too much water or no water, when I have to go out of town. They will gonna wilt for about 2 days without water. Oh my poor lavender.
Here are some of the lavender those can survive so far. I have some English Munstead Lavender, Lavender Stoeches, Lady Lavender, and Blue Provence Lavender. Wish me good luck. I really hope so. Cross my finger.
Why don't you give them catnip for their toys? Catnip is the common name for a perennial herb of the family. It is native to Europe and is an import to the United States and other countries. The catnip plant is now a widespread weed in North America.

If you like to have it given to the right cat, catnip can cause an amazing reaction. The cat will rub it, roll over it, kick at it, and generally go nuts for several minutes. Then the cat will lose interest and walk away. Two hours later, the cat may come back and have exactly the same response.

Catnip is perennial. Enjoy a cup of hot lemony-mint flavored catnip tea while watching your cats frolic in a patch of this fragrant, attractive plant. Plants can also be grown indoors on a windowsill, so cats can enjoy the fresh leaves any time. A very hardy plant, it grows in almost any soil. (Although, most cats are 'crazy' for catnip, 10-30% of the cat population does not respond to it. Though, the affinity for it is genetic, this indifference is pronounced in very young kittens and older cats.) If your cat loves catnip, you can grow your own to make him or her silly happy all year long.

Catnip

You could grow your own Catnip in Indonesia. Especially in Bandung, I have also try to plant it here. In my small herbs garden my catnip is growing perfectly.

Vertical Herbs Garden

As I told you here in another posts, I am psyched by vertical garden, and crazy about herbs.

Beautiful Flowering Tea

There's nothing more soothing and relaxing than tea. Especially flowering tea. Wonderful, captivating and engaging; flowering teas transform the simple act of drinking tea by producing an aesthetically rich experience full of color and vibrancy.

This picture above is hand-sewn flowering teas are produced in remote tea gardens in southwestern Yunnan province in China near the borders of Laos and Vietnam. White, green and black teas are picked in the early mornings. While damp, the tea leaves are flattened and sewn with cotton thread into the various shapes and bundles.

I really like to blogging while sipping this tea.

New Office Building

Today is the officially day my office moves to Jl Soekarno Hatta 707 Bandung. It takes almost more than one hour from my home. Yeah, I have to pass 10 traffic lights along bypass road. And one traffic light takes 180 to 360 second! whoa. Can you imagine? Look like I live in Jakarta which commute time to work is enough to make your bottom become flat.

By the way, this is my new desk, which is not really new, because this is actually my old desk in my old office, but the moving service vendor has made it look new by some retouch and repair.
He is one of the Smash Boy Band member. But I can't stand not to compare his hair style with Cleopatra. He is only need to let his hair a bit longer. Or he can wear this kind of wig, so it won't take him so long time to straighten his hair by "catokan rambut" to get the model.
