It's getting hot in the inland empire. Normally this goes ignored by me but for some reason this year I'm inspired to bring out some color. This is a very new and very unexpected development.

I love these shorts, they are high waisted and very comfortable--they're almost like stylish gym shorts! I had a hard time trying to find a matching top for them this morning because everything seemed to go. Obviously I took the easy way out.

As far as accessories go I am too on board for layers of giant gold things. I'm letting summer take over my wardrobe today.

It's been a couple great weeks full of change for me. One of the major ones is a new job I'll be starting next week. Fingers crossed everyone! I have a feeling it's going to be a great new experience for me.

My original plan for today was to go to the beach and take pictures but that failed and I stayed in town and took care of some care issues. However these pictures were the result, so staying around and checking out hidden spots in the area ended up being a pretty wonderful way to spend the day.

Are you all getting your warm weather fix yet? I could take some hot summer days right about now.

H&M Blazer, 2b platforms and belt as necklace, thrifted belt

I didn't wear this to work today but I've been obsessed with this outfit for about two weeks. I love when you combine items you've had forever into amazing creations and they feel like new again.

I SHOULD throw this on for tomorrow when I go wine tasting in Temecula but I think my 2b maxi dress is in order. Spring needs to know I have its back too.

2b dress, belt from boutique in San Diego

I am obsessed with this 2b dress I bought a few weeks ago. It's a maxi that seems to be the perfect length. I love the white and the bohemian lace texture. I felt like my whole day at Bebe was spent running this dress around to various clients who also fell victim to its charm.

I wore it with a button-up blue denim shirt to and from work and it dressed it down perfectly. Very "exploring California during a summer roadtrip". The perfect way to spend summer, if you ask me.

I hope you all had an amazing holiday and welcome to the year 2012!

All the family has gone home and my crazy work schedule has calmed down. As much as I enjoyed it all I am enjoying getting back to my relaxing routine.

The weather has been wonderful these last few weeks and it makes me fall in love with all the new summer dresses and brightly colores spring items we're getting in at Bebe.

Bebe dress as shirt and 3 Bebe skirts (blue, pink, and black) for poofy effect, 2b belt

I am a big fan of poofy, girly dresses and when I couldn't find one in my closet to wear to work... I made one. We still had all the materials for this creation in stock and by the end of the day there were colorful tutus all over the place, you're welcome.

I got the most beautiful dress at Betsy Johnson this week. Pictures to come.

Merry Christmas Eve everyone!

2b dress

I love the design on this sweater dress. Adds a little something extra to regular black and white stripes. I feel bad that I wore this to work at Bebe because about 20 people asked me if we had it in stock.. sorry guys! You are a couple months too late.

I have to wear all black at Planet Beauty so Bebe is my fashion escape. I am all heels and crazy colors most of the time. My Bebe friends have caught on because usually make my way in to check my schedule on lunch breaks at Planet and I'm sure they'd think I was gothic if I didn't come clean.

I don't really Christmas shop so all I've had to do this season is decorate and look for one white elephant present for our family party, which I haven't actually done yet. Which is ridiculous because I work at a mall.

2b mini dress and bracelet

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving weekend. Mine started on Wednesday when my sister and her fiance, David, came up to spend the weekend. We played dress up in my massive closet, checked out her "Save The Date" photos (her wedding is coming up in April), and went out to dinner in downtown Upland.

Thanksgiving started early doing volunteer work on Skid Row, then spent a few hours in traffic, we ended the night at my mom's house with David's family. Had a blast making food with the ladies, playing Apples to Apples and eating too much food.

Sorry I don't know the brand of these shoes but my sister looked so good in them I told her to take them.

It rained like crazy today and I could not have been happier. I love a little switch up from the regular 70 degree routine known as southern California in fall. I am wearing my beautiful, perfect, poofy hot pink lovelies I got the day I got hired at 2b. I swear these babies are so loud and crazy yet they work with everything. I have had ladies come shopping in sweat pants, try these on, then leave wearing them. Trust me.

Today I went on a job-hunting attack! It's looking pretty good so far. I have to admit that I applied at Bebe out here and I have my fingers crossed! I also applied to a beauty supply store here. I'd really like to work at both because they are two of my loves: Beauty Supplies and Bebe.. and since I can't work at my beloved Ultra right now, I'll have to find somewhere new to call home and fill my void.

I found this crazy alley while driving home. I've obviously been trying to find interesting places like crazy to shoot and I hope you enjoy my attempts!
