Pattern: Granny Circle Square

I've been working on some granny squares for a blanket lately. I found a pattern for "Retro Circles" at Three Beans in a Pot, but because the yarn I use is lighter, I needed to adjust the pattern to make the squares larger.

They are now measuring 12,5 x 12,5 cm, which still is small for squares, and I still have to make a lot more (140 in total!) :-) But I like the look and therefor I'd like to share the pattern with you.

Today (and tomorrow) there was a fair in Vienna called Designmarkt Edelstoff_03. It's a place where young, unknown designers can present and sell their handmade products. Designers from Austria, Hungary and Czech Republic were selling clothes, bags and jewels, paintings, pottery and small furniture. Here you can find further information.

It took some time, but it was worth it! The pattern for this cute cardigan by Vendula Maderska is available for free and it's not that difficult to make (except you have to redo 1.5 sleeves just like me...).
And the cardigan can be used both winter and summer.

I never know where to keep my bills and guarantees. I usually plan to put them in a folder, but somehow they never end up there. Or I misplace the folder.

So I made this pouch to keep my bills in a safe and pretty place.

Last weekend there was a craftig fair called Kreativmesse Ost in MGC in Vienna. Shops form all over the country were selling their goods and having workshops. As every year there was a big run.

As you might or might not know, here in Austria we are celebrating mardi gras (like halloween, but not creepy xD ) Especially the kids love this day because they can dress up and party.
Unlike all the other elves, princesses and pirates my daughter wanted to dress up like Pipi Longstocking. And if you know Pipi you know she has a little monkey called Mr. Nilsson.

Hello World!

So this is it, my new blog. And this is actually my new-new blog. I started "Woll-Lust mit Haken", the german version of this blog, about a week ago. Initially I didn't want to do an international = english translation, but then I figured I'd reach a lot more readers this way :-) And what's the use of a blog if not being read.
