For a while I really enjoyed the show but as time went on…

The lack of professionalism on the show began to get to me. I understand that a laid back, carefree feel to a podcast can be used to great effect but I’ve heard them eating dinner while doing the show, dealing with kids, getting pizza and more. Seriously, one of them actually went out to pick up a pizza for his family while he was doing the show. Come on now, you are doing a show and I personally don’t want to hear you eat dinner as you talk.

Look, I understand you have families and it may be hard to get time to yourself but you also have to respect your audience. I feel these two would be a lot better off to find a time when they will not be interrupted and if they are, do some editing. If you have a family emergency, stop the recording and begin again when you have time to concentrate on the show. If you need to eat, do it before, or after or pause the show until you get done!

Anyway, if you are a hardcore film fan who loves trashy cinema and you don’t find two guys who eat and deal with their families while doing the show annoying, this might be the show for you. For me, I gave it up after the feeling disrespected once to often by Big Willy and The Samurai’s casual recording style.

The Old Oilhouse podcast is a show that was originally about Transformers but now is about, well, I’m not really sure. The show I listened too seemed to focus on He Man and the Masters of the Universe. I think if subjects such as Transformers, Thundercats, He Man, and that short of thing appeal to you, you might enjoy this show. I read through a bunch of episode descriptions on the Old Oilhouse website and due to my ignorance on the subject matter, I was just as lost.

The shows are very well put together and the hosts are really passionate and knowledgeable (as far as I can tell), about the topics they talk about and have a sense of humor. The shows are, however, a bit long for me, some over 2 hours long

I found the names of the episodes on iTunes confusing. I wasn’t sure of all the shows were part of the same series or if there were several different shows. If I had one bit of advice, it would be to come out with a consistent naming structure

Bottom Line: While this is not a show I’d be listening too, if you are into Transformers and the like, you might want to give this show a listen.

Proudly Resents  - The Tommy Wiseau Interview!

I was put off almost immediately do to the constant distortion of the dialogue.  This was something I just couldn’t figure out the point of the strange effects on the voices, which got so bad at some points that I could not understand what was being said. I thought for a minute that maybe it was one person doing all the voices and that is why this was done, but I was wrong. The show features the talents of 10 people. The only thing I can thing of is it was a gimmick done to be different. If I was part of The Wrong Foot, I’d ask myself if this really adds anything to the show or does it just irritate the audience.

I’d also like to point that strange, weird or different does not necessarily mean funny. And The Wrong Foot Comedy Podcast was strange and weird but I didn’t find it funny. Many of the sketches seem to just meander around, not really doing anywhere, and not making me laugh. There were moments when the show did get amusing but those were few and far between.

You know, comedy is a very subjective thing. While I didn’t find this show funny, you might. The show is only about 30 minutes long and you might want to give it a try. If you think it is funny, please leave a comment.

That is not my review but the description of the podcast that appears on iTune. The podcast creators provide these descriptions.

Jordan, Chris and Warren are the host of the humor talk show called Horsetrack Hooligans. The three of them have a nice, entertaining chemistry that I really enjoy listening too.

The shows are about an hour or under and are really just the three of the host talking about whatever they want. I don’t even know if the topics are planned. I assume they are.

I can’t really think of more to say. It’s talk, it’s funny and you should give it a listen.

Do I like the Natty Bumperpodcast? Yes I do. It is can be funny, quirky, or just insane from show to show. I listened to a dozen of these podcasts (like I said, they were under 4 minutes), and sometimes I laugh, other times I was just confused. That’s OK, since they are so short.

It is a comedy podcast, hosted by named Natty Bumpercar. Is that his real name? I assume not but you never know but that fits in the

The show is very family friendly. I find that refreshing. While some shows seem to be well thought out and well produced, other seems to be as if Natty just recorded himself for a few minutes and that was the show.

I don’t know what else to write about this strange little show but I think some words I got off the Natty Bumpercar website in which he describes himself as “big fan of making all kinds of stuff”.

Listen for yourself. It is only 3 minutes, 14 seconds!
