I made a commitment to schedule "Me" time every week to scrap! I will have at least 52 layouts this year!

So far so good, my January is shaping up.

I'm using Journey 12 - January, available at Polka Dot Plum.

Today, I even made time to do some designing!

Life is good!

There's nothing better than that first bear hug of the morning from my boys. They're all warm and have that distinctive "sleepy" scent about them. Those hugs linger and communicate so much without a word. It's the only moment of the day that has no time demands and is shared between just us... before I lose them to video games, friends and the other distractions of their day. Life is Good.

Today, I "embraced" 2013 with the same warm snuggle.

Even though these moments can't be scrapped with pictures, they are important and can be added to journal pages. That's what I'l be doing next week when I start my commitment to Scrap 52 for 2013.

Here's hoping you had a wonderful holiday break and are ready to embrace AND SCRAP 2013!
