They are followed in the poll by Texas and Virginia Tech.  The top five is closed out by SEC rivals Tennessee and Lousiana State.

Louisville starts out at No. 6 with Florida State very close behind. Dennis Dodd of Sportsline.com thinks if USC can win again this year, they merit consideration. In fact the idea of being punished for helping a student academically seems absurd.  I don't care if the student is yours or not.
