The event will start at 5:30pm, but be sure to show up 15 minutes early to prepare for the start.

Follow the link below for a map of the route. All participants will receive a ‘prize’ at the end of the route. However, you’ll never know what it is unless you come down!

What to bring?
– your favourite ugly holiday sweater
– comfortable clothing to bowl in
– dinner will be provided

The participants can be picked up at the YMCA/YWCA that they normally train at for 6:00pm on Friday, and should expect to be back sometime around 9:15pm. Feel free to wear some festive Halloween attire, your heart rate monitor, and bring your best sense of direction.

The goal of the event is to promote physical activity, community building and the environmental benefits of using non-motorized forms of transportation in Winnipeg. It takes place Sunday, September 13 from 8am-6pm. Check out their page for more info.

Participants are still expected to get in their 3 workouts for the week, and can make up a session either on Saturday at the forks, or on your own.
