I would like to thank everyone for the thoughts and prayers.

The best way to explain how things went is from my mom’s recent Facebook post:

“Thank you everyone. Matt is doing good. His friends delivered two recliners last night. (The doc said he has only seen this type break in 2 percent of his patients. He had a break in his shoulder and 1/3 of the ball on rotary cuff was broken. The surgeon and anesthologist were awesome. They said they felt the prayers. ”

this is what I look like now… but feel alot better then before surgery.

I’ll be under the knife at 1:45 est.

It’s actually worse then I ever thought…

They are not sure how long it will actually take
because they are worried about the fact I broke
off  50% of socket where arm hits shoulder.

Yea they told me this yesterday. :-(

No wonder it hurts like hell and my arm
keeps coming out of the socket. What sucks
is it’s my right arm, and I’m right handed.

At this moment, the doctor is unsure
if I’ll be able to throw a ball again.

However, I’m confident I’ll figure
a way to do it no matter what.

Then on Sunday, we all went to Atlanta for the Richard
Petty Driving Experience. I couldn’t drive due to my
shoulder being hurt, so I called one of my friends to
come and replace me. However, I actually did enjoy
watching them on the track even though I wanted to be
out there myself.

Everyone had a blast. A couple of guys enjoyed it so
much, they went for even more laps.

There is nothing like my Redneck Adventures!!
