Kelsey would read books to Samaiyah while she was carrying her. By reading to the baby while in the womb, the baby learns your voice and it becomes a comfort to listen to you. Raising a preemie has been an enjoyable experience. She is a lot bigger now than when we first brought her home. I was nervous changing her diaper then because she was so tiny.

Samaiyah is eating solid food now by a spoon. She has liked everything that we have given her so far. Peas, carrots, squash, and she loves bananas. When starting cereal we weren't sure when preemies can have flakes of cereal in formula. We settled on 6 months with the adjusted age to 4 months. It has worked fine. She preferred it in her bottle at first now she can eat with a spoon very well.

She is also sitting unassisted now and will play sitting in front of me. Her uncle bought her a toy that she lays on and plays with toys that hang from it. She loves that toy and it gives her a work out, which is good.

Samaiyah will be crawling in no time. She can roll over real easy now and can scoot around on her back. That will be fun.

Are there any original baby girls room ideas? I know that pink is probably the most popular. Chocolate and pink has been the in thing as of late as well. Do you go with what's popular or do you come up with an original and go with that?

Now days you have to worry what tv characters you use for your baby girls room ideas because a lot of them don't send a good message for kids. I won't mention any by name but you have to find one that goes with your moral character if you do decide to use a character from any popular kid's shows as a room idea.

I'm partial to just using colors and designs out of your child's name myself. I plan to let Samaiyah decide what she has an interest in and not try to lead her in any direction.

The Prettiest Baby In The World : Prettiest photogenic baby

Have you ever seen a more photogenic baby than my Samaiyah? I have had to create a special blog just to upload all of her photos to. Some babies just take to cameras well and make good pictures.

I am thinking about posting some Youtube videos of her to keep a video record of her life. I have some videos uploaded to my computer with my iPhone but I am thinking about sharing my photogenic baby though video as well as with pictures.

I urge all parents to capture as many pictures and videos of their own photogenic baby while you have the chance. They grow up so fast you can miss a lot of you wait.

Our preemie miracle is still tiny but she has grown a lot since bringing her home from the NICU. Memories can fade with time if you don't capture them with pictures or video. You can bet that I will be taking all the pictures and videos of my photogenic baby as I can.

The prettiest baby in the world is a preemie named Samaiyah. Many websites claim to have the prettiest baby in the world but take a look around Samaiyah's photos. Also what a beautiful name for a beautiful baby. Samaiyah means Sky or Heavenly.

She was the prettiest baby in the world from the time she came into this world, two months early, and as of this writing she is almost 7 months. She get's prettier every day, from the smiles to the way she crinkles her nose when she looks at you and you make her laugh.

I have been asked to take Samaiyah and enter her into pageants, however I don't agree with parents parading their children around in that fashion. Prettiest Baby in the World

Samaiyah sat upright upright today for 2 minutes unassisted. She is growing like a weed and over 13 lbs now. She is able to emulate whatever I do with my face now also. How babies know how to do this without looking at themselves is a mystery to me. I'll have to Google it. I love to see her meet more milestones.

She is right on track with her preemie development . She will reach out and grab things that you hold in front of her and hold it. Oh and she has been rolling over for a couple of weeks also. I have been assisting her sitting by gently pulling her arms. She can get about a third of the way up unassisted. She is a real preemie miracle.

Samaiyah is still the prettiest baby in the world and getting cuter all the time. Everyone comments on how pretty she is. All of you doing pageants and baby photo contests are lucky we don't compete because we would clean up. I have joked that I may take her to one and sit in the crowd just to scare the competitors. Calm down I'm only joking. I wouldn't do that to you. We are content with being the prettiest baby in Arkansas for now.

At the daycare now when Samaiyah notices me or her mom go in and she sees us she wants us to hold her. I pick her up I don't mind spoiling her a little. I love my baby and she is going to be a daddy's girl. I will buy her the shirts that prove it. Ha Ha. The onesie she wore home from the NICU said daddy's little alarm clock.

We have been taking lots of photos with our digital camera so we can make a scrapbook for her. I am also saving a few things we brought home from the NICU and her artwork from school. She has the cutest little footprints and handprints.

When Samaiyah gets older I'm planning on her helping me with her blog. Hopefully she will enjoy doing that. I believe that technology will be an important way for kids to bond with their parents in the future.
