Hey folks, sorry about the filler comic.   Between work, the old house, and the new house, this was an extremely busy week.  Late last night I finally came up with a script for the next strip, but I wasn’t happy with it.  Rather then rush things, I decieded it was best to bite the bullet and take another week to work on things.

Fear not though!  I’m not going to leave you empty handed this week!

Recently, the ever talented Will Terrell (https://twitter.com/willterrell) posted a YouTube Video on ’5 Tips for Better Drawings’.  If you’ve taken art classes, you may have seen these before, but it’s definitly worth the review.   I’ve been making sure to remember these in my recent practice drawings and there’s been a noticeable improvement.  Check it out and enjoy!

What DOES one wear to stop an alien invasion?  Besides a hat to stop brain suckers.

It recently dawned on me that I have only drawn the boys in one or two outfits.  And then it was during special events like suits for weddings or workout clothes for gym class.  I’m going to start toying around with different clothing options, just for variety and a change of pace.

When I originally came up with this idea, I said “I’ll just make Kal’s shirt the same as what I’m wearing today!”.  Ironically I was wearing a blue shirt with strips on it that day…
