Marcus Lemonis has a new show that will be airing on FOX called The Fixer. This show is very similar to The Profit and will feature Marcus Lemonis trying to help out small businesses. The 'about the show' description from FOX states, "In each episode, Lemonis meets with business owners from across the country whose companies are at a crossroad and need to make impactful changes. Struggling with tough decisions and looking for direction, he’ll assess their prospects and pick one business in the hope that they will all make a profit. As they address extraordinary challenges together in a revealing behind-the-scenes journey to success, they will benefit from Marcus’ candid instruction and business know-how in an effort to seek an investment."

The show begins on Friday July 18th, 2025 at 8pm ET with a double episode. The first episode will feature the business Perspirology, which is a trampoline-based fitness studio while the second episode features Jazz Audio. In an interview about the show, Marcus Lemonis said one big difference between The Profit and The Fixer is that The Profit dealt with businesses who were in danger of closing while The Fixer has businesses that are potentially closing or potentially growing. Another difference Marcus Lemonis noted is that he does his negotiation at the end of The Fixer, while during The Profit, he did it at the beginning of the episode.

Zip Kit Homes - The Profit Update

This week on the season finale of The Profit, Marcus Lemonis is in Cedar City, Utah to make a deal with Zip Kit Homes. Zip Kit Homes is a company that specializes in high performance, panelized kit homes and they are struggling to keep up with demand for their homes. With options to expand in both the commercial and residential spaces, they are also facing an identity crisis. Marcus will try to get them to focus on laying a firm foundation if they are going to be able to cash in on their potential.

They also have another business called Timberhawk Homes. That website describes the difference between the two divisions:

Timberhawk Homes – Focused on panelized and system-built homes for multi-home projects like workforce housing, multi-family projects, complete developments, etc.
Zip Kit Homes (zipkithome.com) – Taking the same panelized, system-built concept to more affordable, small homes.
It says they have a small factory located in Pocatello ID and another factory is under construction Cedar City UT.

Zip Kit Homes currently offers nine different floor plans and the cost to build the homes depends on the location where it is built. Bedrooms range from 2 to 6 bedrooms and there is also a multi-unit option. (Link)
Zip Kit Homes offer standard floor plans with no customization. Their kits include "all exterior wall panels, interior wall panels, posts, beams, trusses, windows, exterior doors, dry-in materials, etc." They do not include "materials to complete your home – siding, roofing, cabinets, hardware, etc."

The Deal - Marcus offered $1 million for 30% of the business and Marcus wanted the employees to own 20% of the business as part of an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Program). This deal was accepted.

Their business has grown even during the pandemic and Marcus would like to help them become a successful chain restaurant that could reach more people.

K9 Lifeline is a dog training, boarding, and daycare facility that also makes and sells their patented K9 Lifeline Transitional Leash. The owner Heather Beck has a passion for animals and a great product, but Marcus wants her to be able to get her product to the masses. He will need to get Heather to use the same passion she has for her pets to generate profits.

The Deal - Heather valued her business at a $1.2 million valuation. Marcus agreed that was valid and offered $500,000 for 50% of the business. Heather was hoping for it to be 51% to 49% in her favor, but they eventually settled on the 50/50 split. This was only for the transitional leash part of the business.
As stated above, the K9 Lifeline Transitional Leash is listed for $38.99 on their site. They also have leashes available for $14.99. There are 17 colors, some of which are sold out at the time of the episode airing. A name add on is also available for $5.00.
Here is the new Heather's Heroes website that has the new name for the leash, which is called The Sidekick. The price is the same on both sites.

Other products on the new site are The Dynamic Duo, The Power Trio, and Long Line leashes. These are just the new names for the products on the original website.

Sonoma Coast Spirits - The Profit Update

Sonoma Coast Spirits is a family-owned business that creates hand-crafted spirits that are infused with ingredients from their own garden. They are a smaller operation that has hopes of expanding beyond their local reach. Marcus will need to look at the changes necessary to move from a local business to national operation.

The Deal - Marcus initially offered $250,000 for 20% of the business and a line of credit for $250,000. The counter offer which was accepted was $300,000 for 25% of the business. The money would be used to build inventory, fulfil open orders and to expand into a larger space.
Marcus decided to walk out on the deal due to the following reasons:

He brought in bottle and label designers to help redesign the label of Sonoma Coast Spirits, but it was never changed.
Marcus visited and discovered they were going to try canning craft cocktails without telling him.
Jill continually doing what she wanted without communicating to Marcus.

Marcus suggested Jill work on the business with her family and they could potentially revisit him investing in the future.
The labels on their website are still the same labels that they had before the show filmed.

Barb Batiste from B Sweet, which appeared on season 7 of The Profit, appeared on this episode.
James' Gourmet Pies currently offers 3 different products - sweet potato pie, buttermilk pie, and sweet potato bread.
Marcus set James up with a shared commercial kitchen with a freezer to help fulfil online orders.

This week on The Profit, Marcus Lemonis is in Santa Monica, California to make a deal with Grey Block Pizza. Grey Block Pizza has been around for about 20 years and serves creative slices of pizza. Owner Tommy Schiffer is hoping Marcus Lemonis is able to scale the business to help expansion across America. Marcus needs to get him to fall back in love with the business and resolve his relationship with his business partner Lilia Mead. Lilia recently invested money in the business and was hoping to be a silent partner, but that hasn't been the case.

The Deal - Before making a deal, Marcus wanted to figure out food costs, who should manage, and work on relationships. Tommy wanted to have a deal in place before that, so he agreed to take $20,000 to fix up the place, install POS, and figure out food costs. He agreed to pay Marcus back $30,000 for this.
Marcus then tried to resolve the loan situation between Lilia and Tommy. The buyout of Lilia was reached for $141,500, with $75,000 being for the loan and $66,500 for the equity.
When Marcus returned to Grey Block, the place was a mess and Tommy was nowhere to be seen and was gone for weeks. Marcus flew to Oregon to see him and to see if he wanted to sell the business. He arranged a meeting with a potential buyer and Tommy didn't show up. He continues to own the business and runs it from Oregon.
This is the second time Marcus Lemonis tried to invest in a pizza place with the other being Simply Slices (update here). Both turned out to be disasters.
Public records show there were two PP loans for Grey Block Pizza - one for $74,721 and another for $62,418.

The Profit - Harvest Lane Honey Update

On the season 8 premiere of The Profit, Marcus Lemonis is in Salt Lake City, Utah to make a deal with Harvest Lane Honey. Harvest Lane Honey is a multi-generational family business that makes bee keeping kits and products that can be sent to your home. Marcus Lemonis finds that the company is drowning in debt and has efficiency issues with their manufacturing process. He also thinks they should be generating more sales online and wants them to focus more on that.

The prices of their bee keeping kits on their website are $150 for a small, $200 for a medium, and $270 for a large. Adding bee keeping accessories adds about $60.
Harvest Lane Honey makes no mentions about their upcoming appearance on The Profit, which usually means a deal couldn't be reached or there was other drama.

The Deal - Due to the debt of Harvest Lane Honey, Marcus decided to coach them on how to handle their $7.2 million debt. He tried to get the creditors to convert the debt into equity in the company. Marcus offered $1 million for 33% of the company contingent on getting the debt down to $4 million. They countered for $1 million for 25%, but the eventually settled on $1 million for 30% of the company.
Harvest Lane Honey was able to work with creditors to convert some of the debt, but they were only able to convert $2,648,000, which was short of the amount agreed to on the deal.
Final deal - $650,000 and a $400,000 letter of credit for 25% of the business.
According to the show, revenue has been up 90% over the last 30 days.

240Sweet From The Profit is Closed - Update on The Owners

240Sweet in Columbus, Indiana which appeared on season 3 of The Profit is closed. 240Sweet was one of the most controversial episodes of The Profit with Marcus Lemonis walking out on the deal after already investing money.

240Sweet stopped producing marshmallows in September 2018 when co-owners Alexa Lemley and Sam Aulick created a new company that has a line of sugar-free, low-carb and gluten-free dishes. Their business is called KetoLuxe and here is Alexa's description from their website about the business and how it came about. They decided to change their business and lifestyle after a Type 2 diabetes diagnosis for Sam. After adopting the Ketoluxe way of eating, they are down over 100 pounds. KetoLuxe offers products on their website and some products on Amazon. Here is the KetoLuxe Facebook page if you are interested.

Alexa and Sam decided to change the name of KetoLuxe to Low Carb Revolution and they have a Kickstarter campaign active in which they have raised almost $16,000 to date and it is 100% funded. They plan to expand their frozen food distribution with this money. Here is the Low Carb Revolution website and Facebook page. Besides products, Chef Alexa also offers coaching programs that range from $800 to $1,500.

In addition to this business, Alexa and Sam also have a catering business called Artisan Foodworks (website). They have negative reviews on Yelp, but some of them are from fans from The Profit.

The Profit - SD Campervans Update

Tonight on The Profit, Marcus Lemonis is in Los Angeles, California to make a deal with SD Campervans. SD Campervans is a company that converts vans into campers and was started by Breanne Acio. SD Campervans is ready to bring more people into the "Van Life" lifestyle, but they will need to improve their process before things go south. Marcus also needs to convince the owners to be more open minded so they are accepting of all types of people and brands.

Marcus sponsored a SD Campervans event by providing $5,000 in the name of Good Sam. He wasn't impressed with what his money was used for and decided a partnership with SD Campervans would not work out at the moment.
Camping World does not have vans similar to SD Campervans available for sale on its website yet.

The Profit - Ideal Cheese Shop Update

Ideal Cheese Shop is a family-run cheese shop and the father and son are at odds on how the store should be run. The shop has debt from another location that failed which is causing money issues at their current location. Ideal Cheese Shop has been in business for over 50 years and Marcus Lemonis needs to renew their passion and refresh their look so the business doesn't fail.

The Ideal Ideal Cheese Wine Café in Long Island opened in November 2013. In June 2015, they moved locations and rebranded as Ideal's Element. They had an identity problem and wanted to focus more on the restaurant. (Link)

Just three months after the rebrand, Ideal's Element closed. Julius Binetti said business wasn't doing as well as expected and couldn't support the price of rent. (Link)

Marcus later made an arrangement to buy out out Julius a total of $400,000 over 7 years. Michael would own 85% of the business and Miguel would own 15% of the business, while Marcus's investment acts more like a loan.
