The Brisbane City Council Revive Vintage and second hand festival is on again this Friday 18th August.

Last year was a fantastic event at the Southbank Forecourt and runs from 12-9pm this year again.

Frock Up This Weekend

This Sunday is the Frock Up event at Mt Gravatt Showgrounds. This time around it is a one day event only. Make sure you get down to find all of you glorious vintage needs.

Events for March 2017

We have an exciting few weeks of events coming up throughout March. What is even more exciting is that we will be at an event on the Gold Coast for the first time in ages!

Looking forward to seeing you guys somewhere this month. xx

On March 19th we will be at the Gold Coast Super Swap Meet and Show N Shine from 6 am till 1 pm in the Vintage and Collectibles Barn.

Paradise Country Parklands, 231 Beaudesert Nerang Road, Nerang.

March 25th will be the bi-annual Frock Up event at Mt Gravatt Showgrounds from 10-5pm. Normally this event is held over three days but this time around it will be condensed to just the Saturday so you don’t have time to dawdle:)

Mt Gravatt Showgrounds, 1644 Logan Road, Mt Gravatt.

March 26th is the Vindie Markets in West End. Running from 10-3pm you can come on down to the fabulous Rumpus Room to have a drink and a shop.

Events in October

October is lining up to be a huge month of events for The Purple Bedroom.

Next weekend is the long weekend and we will be at the Capalaba Antique and Collectables Fair at the Capalaba PCYC, Cnr Mt Cotton and Degen Roads.

Saturday 1st 8-4

Sunday 2nd 8-4

Monday 3rd 8-1

Frock Up is on again at the Mt Gravatt Showgrounds on Logan Road.

Friday 14th 6-9pm

Saturday 15th 10-4pm

Sunday 16th 10-4pm.

And last but not least Collectorville is on again at the Rocklea Showgrounds on Sunday 23rd October from 9-2pm.

Revive Festival

We are very excited to announce that we will be part of the Brisbane City Council Revive Festival on the 19th August 2016 at the Cultural Forecourt in the Southbank Parklands.

The event will be full of vintage markets, revived clothing stalls, an awesome drop-in sewing circle and plenty of fashion parades and live entertainment all starting from 2pm and running through till 8pm. What a great way to spend a Friday night by supporting vintage clothing, sustainability and recycling initiatives.

Boudoir Bazaar this Sunday 19th

Yep, Boudoir Bazaar is on again this Sunday 19th June from 12-4pm at Cloudland on Ann St.

This time around there will be a fashion parade commencing at 1pm. There is also going to be a silent auction for each piece in the parade that you will be able to bid on. It will help to take the hassle out of styling a piece, as this is already done for you! The winners of the silent auction will be announced at 3pm giving you plenty of time to shop and have a drink:)

Its going to be a wintery vibe kind of day with sweaters, jackets, coats, dressing gowns and silk kimonos on offer to get you into that winter spirit so layer, layer, layer!

Boudoir Bazaar this Sunday at Cloudland

Come down and say hello this Sunday at Boudoir Bazaar which is being held for the first time at Cloudland in Fortitude Valley. Shop whilst taking in the gorgeous air-conditioned surroundings of one of the most decadent of locations in Brisbane.

These new pieces will also be available with some new autumn/winter goodies as well.
