Now, this could be classed as a bit of a departure from my usual posting, but, it’s just soooo cute! Plus, it is art!

These adorable creatures are the product of polymer clay workings by Joo Joo (Afsaneh Tajvidi). Don’t you just want to buy some polymer clay and make lots of little cute things!?

Butterflies..

I’ve been harking back to drawing again recently. It does feel good! These are from an editorial last year for Bon Magazine called ” The Butterflies” hence the title that doesn’t exactly match the content. But hey ho.

Thery are up in the ol’ Etsy shop. Both are in A4, but also 8×10″ which is new for me. I defintily like this style. I just need to find the place where all the styles I like can converge to create something satisfying. That’s the next thing…

I’ve been trying a few things out recently. I wanted to do some fun, yet fashionable pictures. Something a little less serious, but still creative. I’m finding it is certainly the sort of line I would want to continue down. I used watercolour and ink. There are still lots of creases to iron out, but the learning is fun, so it’s no chore.

So, I choose Celine as my trial. I loved the Fall 2013 show from Celine. There were lots of pieces that I wanted to paint, so I did…it was fun.
