I haven't even hit my due date yet and Alex has been with us for a week and 1 day! Amazing.. Sometimes I look at him and think, I can't believe he's here. Finally here. It feels a bit surreal..

He's doing really well. Nursing good. Last night he was ready for bed at the same time as we were. He woke up from 4am-7am. Then we both slept until 10... Once he is out of the NB dipes from the hospital, I will be putting him in his cloth dipes. They look like they will be huge on him though. I guess we'll see how it goes.

Brian goes back to work this week. I'm going to miss him... It's been nice having him home with us. I'm looking forward to his next vacation, 4th of July and then our vacation to NC in July as well..

Our desktop network card is out of order. In fact I was trying to install another one when my water broke. I haven't gotten back to that project yet, but I need to get it figured out before Brian goes back to work. I've been spoiled by his laptop and soon it will be gone as well as the internets if I don't get it fixed!

Alright. Alex is wanting to nurse. I'll try and be back later. I really need to write out his birthstory!

Alexander James Dwight was born at 2:46 am 6/6/08! He weighed in at 6lbs and 11oz. and 20.5 inches!

my water broke at 9:30pm, got to the hospital at 10:30pm..

He loves to nurse..

I'm tired LOL..

Today I'm 37wks! Alex can come out whenever he wants now. Brianna came at 40+1 and Katie at 39.. I would rather have him early than be overdue! I'm more than ready to have him out and share him now, plus I can't wait to see his cute little buns all fluffed out in cloth! I have my appt. today. Last week they started internals and did the GBS test. I was 0 dilated, firm and long. With my history of doing no change before going into labor I wasn't surprised!

Brian has a lot going on at work and would like Alex to come anytime now as well so he can take off, LOL.. He is really excited about this little boys arrival and thinks it will be next week sometime.

Brianna's last day of Kindy is today. I can't believe it. Where has this year gone? I feel so sad that I wasn't the best mom I could have been for her this year with being so sick most of it or so uncomfortable and irritable. She's going to miss her friends, so we'll have to set up lots of playdates and keep in touch. Her class had a fieldtrip to the zoo yesterday. I went as well as Katie, my Mom and Dwight (who got layed off :( last week I think it was). Brianna really wanted to go with her friend Eden, it was a really laid back trip. So I let her go off with Eden and her Mom and another little girl. She was thrilled. I was walking around like a snail and so uncomfortable anyway and Katie was super whiny. I'm glad that I made her last field trip a fun one, by not trying to be involved LOL.

Katie was done with preschool last week. My poor girl. The reason she was so whiny yesterday was she was getting sick. I thought it was just plain old allergies, but it wasn't. Had a fever last night of 102. Threw up in our bed and complained of her ears hurting.. I'm getting her into the ped. today. If she has an ear infection that is the 2nd one this year.

Alright, I know I have more to say, but my brain is starting to falter...

My appt. went great today. I've only gained 3lbs this pregnancy so far.. I finally have my appetite back now so I'm sure I'll gain more! I did the glucose test today and should find out next week if there is an issue.

What was meant to be a relaxing day turned into a lot of running around.. Katie jumped off the play stuff at the mall last night and hurt her foot. She couldn't walk on it last night and then was the same this morning. No swelling or bruising.. I took her to the doc and they wanted x-rays so to Children's Hospital Close to Home we went. Everything came back normal, but if she is still refusing to walk on it by Monday they want to see her again..

We a long night..

I was sick all day, not sure whether or not it was getting the rotavirus from watching baby Sophie or not, but I went to the ER..

I was so dehydrated that 4 people couldn't get a line in to draw blood and I have really good veins. They were able to get a line for the iv though (which hurt really bad, I couldn't even extend my arm after they did it, but they didn't want to mess with it since it was the only place they were able to get!) so after I had about a 1/2 liter the fifth nurse was able to stick me to get my labs. Everything came back ok.

And I haven't gotten sick since, they put Zofran in the IV as well (why didn't I do this the other two times I was dying from being so sick)..

Poor Brian didn't eat dinner until almost 11:30.. He wouldn't leave me by myself.

My brother taped LOST for us but we were able to catch most of it in the hospital (priorities right?)

Anyway.. I'm feeling better today. I have a script for Zofran that I will fill just in case. I'm still feeling on the weak side so I'm going to chill and be at my Mom's today.. Nothing like being pampered by Mom (yes I know I'm a complete mama's girl).. Hopefully I can eat today..

~It's a boy~

I keep saying oh my gosh over and over again. The tech said everything was perfect and asked if we had any names picked out. We said a maybe girl name, and she told us to scrap it because it was a boy!!! Crazy!!!! Brian is over the moon and so am I. Right after the U/S we went and got some little boy clothes!!! Now we just need a name LOL..

I met my new doctor and she is absolutely awesome!!! Even though I checked and double checked I was not supposed to get an ultrasound at this visit, because it had to be scheduled separately at the hospital... When the nurse first told me this I was very angry... I couldn't even take in all that she was saying I was so mad.. Then when we got into our room I was a crying mess, though I had calmed down somewhat before the doctor came in. After taking with the doctor she asked about the 20 wk scan and if I had gotten that done and I launched into why I was upset and she said she would take a peek with the not so good ultrasound to see what baby's gender was!! I was thrilled to say the least!

And after looking and looking it's a.......................................

Seriously, baby had legs crossed, it's bottom completely deep into my pelvis and when it did shift a bit it was to move one leg to get it's hand down there to block!!!!! Dr. Tina said it must be a boy from pure stubbornness as well as the whole hand on the crotch, LOL! Baby's heart rate was 158 and was measuring perfectly for dates..

So the big huge anatomy scan is now on Monday at 11am.. So we don't have to wait that much longer, hopefully baby will be a bit more cooperative and show us the goods!

Thursday I had my 16wk prenatal appt. I didn't do the AFP test. Blood pressure was fine. I haven't gained any weight, and baby's heart rate was in the 150's. I also got the my final reason for wanting to switching ob's. A brand new hospital opened up 20 min. from here. In my parents town, Dublin, state of the art. Brian works in Dublin, the girls will be staying with my parents while I'm in the hospital, so it all makes sense for me to go there. My ob was very late to the appt. it was a good thing I had Brianna's Nintendo DS helping me pass the time. He tried to blow off my questions and was just itching to get out of the room. The final straw was when I asked if they would be working out of the new hospital and he said. No, because the hospital was doing the midwife thing, and they weren't ready to get into all that. So previous (not acknowledging Brian at all during the miscarriage and our first visit for this pregnancy) and recent things along with them not working at where I want to deliver means me finding a new OB! I have a group that I want to go check out and hopefully soon. I do have my big ultrasound scheduled in 3wks, but hopefully I find someone else and do it with them in the same amount of time!

My little escapade into heartburn land early this morning was not fun. I ended up getting into bed around 4:30am and it was still bothering me a little but not nearly as severe as it had been. I woke up to my alarm at 7am and slept until 7:30..

I did alright today. I ended up falling asleep at 4:30pm and didn't wake up until 7pm. Brian gets home at 5pm and the girls were watching a movie. I was out cold. He fixed dinner for himself and the girls and they were playing legos quietly and Brian was doing some work on the laptop. I still feel really tired. About to go to bed.

Oh, here's my 12dpo Answer from yesterday. It was in the cabinet just screaming to be peed on LOL.. I will admit that I'm slightly obsessed with the pee sticks!

Katie's fieldtrip to Kuhlwein's Farm was a lot of fun so I will leave you with pictures!

The corn maze was awesome! Katie loved finding her way through it.

Finally after searching and searching, Katie picks her pumpkin, it had to be the biggest one there!

Loaded back onto the wagon with our new huge pumpkin! That thing weighed a ton!

Gotta have snack! A donut, animal crackers and some juice!

We finally had the calf all to ourselves! So sweet and soft! Katie's favorite part of the field trip!

Of course they had a bouncy, and Katie loves those! The kids had a blast! Katied ended up bouncing right out of the entrance to get in and slide down the little slide. She thought that was so funny and it was a great segway to leave!

I woke up at 2am with the worst heartburn ever, it is now going on 3:30 am. I finally just had to get out of bed, I don't have a ton of stuff to take for heartburn and the extra strength tums just aren't cutting it. I know I'm going to be exhausted tomorrow and I can't take a nap while both girls are at school because Katie has her field trip to the Kuhlwein's Farm and I need to drive her there and be her shaparone. Which I'm excited about.

I have found it very hard to write on here and I'm not sure exactly why, but hopefully that will change. I have so much to say but when I sit down at the computer my mind goes blank.

I'm going to try rolaids next and see if I can get to sleep...

oh, took more tests! Today's test is still on the camera and it's downstairs and I don't feel like getting it, maybe later today..

But here is my digital from 11dpo!

*update* It is now almost 4:30am and I'm going to try to get some sleep... Hopefully when I lay down the heartburn doesn't come back!
