We're fortunate enough to have seen another year through, with prospects of seeing another (albeit better than the last). There's certainly a fair deal to celebrate right about now, and you can add this newly released podcast to your list!! A pressie from J, underneath your digital tree - just in the nick of time for Christmas and the new year.

So as you sit and take in the festivities, you can sit and enjoy such ear candy such as:

Being caught up in Christmas

The question that still lingers... I did not die, or fly off of the rails and hibernate into a life of bad weaves, alcohol and substance abuse like Amy Winehouse or Britney Spears. It's now business as usual folks. As is always the case, not as much gaming has gone down as I'd like. But I still manage to bring you a podcast clocking in at 45 minutes, despite my best efforts to keep it at 30. The wonderful little treasure that is my 12th podcast features... A look at UK Summer 2008Let's talk about it! - Why a certain Mario Kart game sucks major bumc rackThe games I've bought over the past 5 monthsA breakdown (an electrical one, not a mental one)And of course, the obligatory song (or two!)And it wouldn't be a random ramble of J's if it wasn't delivered in my wonderfully eloquent London tongue. So go on, you know the deal. Right click the mp3 link and save. NOTE: I apologize for this podcast coming well 2 weeks after it was completed. I had issues uploading it and also issues with my blog. I thought I should mention it to you, seeing as this post was put up today, yet my podcast is date tagged for May 12. I made you wait 6 months, so what's another 2 weeks eh!? A slower paced and more stoic random ramble than usual and also quite short (by my standards). As with every podcast I declare my love for Nintendo and their new baby: Wii, but I give 'em a bit of a grilling too. *shakes fist* And would you believe I actually go and say something nice about Sony!? I also go on a bit of a rant of how amazing Sonic & the secret rings will be when it releases. Trust me to go and record this before the reviews actually go out and it receives mediocre reviews left, right and centre. Nintendo, Wii, silly songs, a bored UK gamer and a guest featured rap from Black Mack. You know you need this podcast in your life... My answering machine and e-mail inbox have been blowing up with people wanting to know what's happening with this and when I was gonna be putting this out. (Yeeeah rooiiiight!!!!)

This random ramble is (as the banner states) about being a gamer in the UK and why it sucks a majority of the time. To fellow UK gamers who are checking this out, you'll probably know what I'm on about and will know what kinda stuff I'll be talking about. And to my US peeps checking this out - you'll appreciate how good you have it. I've put "1. Delays", because no doubt I'll be hopping on the mic at a later date to discuss another sucky aspect of being a gamer in the UK.

I mention in this random ramble how short this is and how I'd consider making them longer! *Ha!* That was until I edited it all together and saw what the final piece clocked in at! I will not be intentionally making these longer. So forget the bit where say I'll be doing such, okay?

To the 2 people who listened to the last one - here ya go. Enjoy!

It sucks being a UK gamer (1.
