Finally found out what was causing the immense slow-down in Eclipse when editing large files.

What was happening was every time I opened an angled bracket, keyboard repeat onto the screen lagged. i.e., you&#39;d press a key and then have to wait a second or two for the character to appear.

This is just a project announcement. As part of my Glacier CMS, I will be creating a website template layout editor using jQuery for the front end and ColdFusion on the back end to save the layout in an XML format.
This XML format will then be read by the CMS to generate the edit-page interface with multiple wysiwygs.
My hope is that it will be generic enough for others to use.

Should you ever need to change the &#39;next id&#39; in a table with a primary key that auto-increments, use the sequel below:

A lot of people have been blogging recently about how they got started with ColdFusion. This was all started by Steve Bryant on his blog. August 1st is ColdFusion Day!

In 2001, the IEE (now The IET) were redeveloping their website. They chose ColdFusion as the platform - at that time, version 4.5 was out and 5 was on the horizon.
