The other rivers in the region are the Sutlej and Tons. These rivers also have stretches which can be run conveniently. Since these regions have not yet been promoted, it will take some time for them to become popular. There are no trek routes or places of tourist interest, which have been developed in the region. Comparatively, therefore, the Kulu valley and the Lahaul and Spiti valleys are more attractive for rafting.

What is the key to their success? Well, my friends, I believe I have the answer. You see, there are certain features of satire that, if done properly, will cause it to be well-received and in-demand. If these elements are ignored, however, the attempt at humor will fall flat on its face.

One useful satirical tool is to mock a politician's alleged weaknesses, often to an extreme degree. This will appeal to different groups: Those who hate the politician will enjoy seeing him/her derided, and those who like the politician will also like it. If they realize it is all done in jest, and believe that you are mocking those who are mocking the politician, they enjoy the irony. Remember, your views do not actually matter here; your job is to entertain! Here's a solid example: when making light of our current president, find what he is criticized for, and use it. I don't refer to him as the commander-in-chief, rather, the illegal-immigrant-in-chief.

Another good point is to present the victim of your satire in a way that they are guaranteed to look bad. For example, I present my readers with a "patriotic" question: Is Obama truly the world's greatest liar, or is he simply a man who attempts honesty, but is woefully incompetent that he fails every time to express the truth?

Here, I hope the following gives you a taste: I have come to reveal to u the presidents darkest secrets and ugliest lies. For free! How patriotic is that? Don't answer, b/c i dont want to hear you're opinion. Anyway, i henceforth {awesome word, right?} present to you damning evidence that prove why Obama is trying to destroy the world. Well, he's really only trying to destroy america, but who really cares about the rest of the world right?

Another less-used tool that i employ is "fake quotes". Instead of taking quotes out of context, invent a ridiculous quote yourself, or take one from another place entirely. Inform your readers that this quote was said "off the record" and that your "sources" have told you the politician/institution you are mocking was responsible for this.

Example: q: "You're talking to God, so ya better swear to me." Mickey Cohen didn't say this; it was obama's thoughts on religion's place in the pledge of allegiance.

The illusion is that each of us can climb the materialistic ladder to success, and become one of the elite, living in the insular pocket that protects us from need and want. In so doing, we deny ourselves the opportunity to enjoy all that life offers. It is ironic that the more that we own, the less each of those items and markers means to us.

In the 1960s, "successful" families owned a color television, and one car. In the 1980s, the average family owned almost two cars and two televisions. Yet, we fail to appreciate the apples in life.

At the risk of offending everyone in the low-income bracket, we should be lowering our standards and definition of success. The scents of a busy city can be as stimulating as the aroma of a countryside pathway. The sound of a rumbling train rivals the melodic twitter of a songbird. The reality is that every moment in life begs to be appreciated, instead of hindering our struggle to climb the mountain of irrelevant material wealth.

This is the central theme of voluntary simplicity: to maximize our enjoyment of each moment without the need to own all the facets and ingredients that make up those moments. It is a principle that many of us who have lived through poverty have learned, sometimes too late. Little things have value, and each moment, whether it is experienced by the rich or the poor, lasts equally as long.

Unfortunately, this lesson is one that we are reluctant to learn and the philosophy difficult to believe, because we have been inoculated against the disease of personal happiness. So long as we can climb the ladder of success, whatever rung we find ourselves perched on simply is not high enough. Whatever beauty there is in any moment, it will be more beautiful when we can own it, rather than just enjoying it for free. Little moments, in truth, are not so little. They are the foundation of our daily lives, yet we wish them away, craving the narcotic fix of someone else's definition of success.

I hope, though, that on your next little trip through life, that you get lost and happen upon the most valuable treasure you can experience - a juicy, sweet, little apple.

Led Zeppelin Celebration Day On Vinyl

                            Led Zeppelin was probably biggest, and still one of the most influential, bands in heavy rock history. Millions of records sold – and still sold – even though the band broke up years ago their legacy lives on. All hope of a reunion seemed lost until one December night in 2007 when Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, John Paul-Jones and Jason Bonham (son of the late John) took the stage at London's O2 Arena for a now legendary show.

Indeed, many of the fans from back then are still fans today and with growing up with those twelve inch diameter slabs of black vinyl will welcome this release as will record collectors everywhere.

                                 The band has something of a history for great and memorable record artwork. For example the iconic cover for Houses of the Holy and the "cut out" window style effect with Physical Graffiti. Then there was the very unusual paper bag style of In Through the Out Door and the colour coming to life if the inner cover was washed with water. A unique design concept indeed.

              That tradition looks to have been carried on with the artwork for the vinyl edition of Celebration Day with a triple fold out and a front featuring a bold Zeppelin over the Houses of Parliament and the River Thames.

                        It's highly unlikely that the band will play together again despite rumours of mega-millions being offered. So owning a copy of Celebration Day is the last chance you will get to either re-live or discover the band which invented and came up with the template for heavy metal with a bluesy and sometimes folksy feel to it.

Black Dog, Trampled Underfoot, Rock and Roll, No Quarter, Whole Lotta Love, Kashmir and of course Stairway to Heaven. In total over the three discs you have sixteen of the most exciting and iconic songs of the genre waiting to be heard again.

                    Age has not diminished Robert Plant's powerful vocals. Jimmy Page's fingers are still fast enough to almost set fire to his fret board, John Paul Jones is as solid as ever and Jason Bonham drums up a storm just like his old man John did before his untimely passing.

                         Any Led Zeppelin fan will surely love to add this vinyl edition to his record collection as will any self-respecting rock fan. Bands like this come along perhaps once in a generation and in the 1970s playing live was what it was all about. Celebration Day is evidence indeed that classic rock from a classic band never dies and the songs have more than stood the test of time.
