The REalm Portleven challange finally runs!

The three year waiting period finally paid off.
16 competitors from all aorund the UK & Ireland competed for the £1200 prize money on offer on Sunday 14th December.
Not quite the size hoped for but plenty of barrels and great waves had with the final being held in perfect high tide Porthleven.
Sam Lamiroy emerged victorious and bagged a few 10 point rides along with his £500 cheque.
A big thank you to the Porthleven surf Club for running a great event - the vibe around that day was it was one of the most fun events the guys had ever surfed in due to the good waves and good times!

32 of Europes top surfers have been invited to cornwall to compete at one of Britain's heaviest reef breaks.
Organisers have vowed to only hold the event when the surf is pumping.
A three year waiting period was set around 26 months ago for the event which has the backing of the porthleven surf club.
Ex British student champ and legendery Porthleven local Dan ' Moel' Joel heads the impressive lineup.
Britains most sucsessful surfers , Russel winter, Spencer hargreaves, Alan Stokes, Sam Lamiroy are also amongst the invitees.
The quality of the surf will make this one of Britian's best ever competitions. It's the competition people will want to see. Porthleven is world renowned as a quality reef break.

Turbo" This was The Realm's first year on the Tracks Wettie test and they entered the arena with a bang. The Turbo scored nines in each category from everyone that tried it. The suit was well sealed and very warm the flexibility of the the neoprene was supported by the zipperless design. the Turbo is a great all round suit and The Realm are already up to speed with the bigger boys."
V12While The Realm’s entry into the back zip category wasn’t as mind blowing as its cousin, the V12 is still a solid suit. The flexibility and warmth of the neoprene is impressive for the price and the blind stitched seams with silicon seal taping kept a good amount of water out while still allowing freedom of movement. Amazing value.
