Congratulations to all our nominees and thanks to all who entered Inspired By Love.  We are absolutely blown away by the support each of our nominees received and by the 3600 people who showed up to vote!  We are so humbled by the love that was reflected in this contest, because that’s what this whole wedding photography thing is about anyway.  And we’re so excited about these beautiful, creative, and personal weddings you’ve shown us.  It is an absolute pleasure to get to look through a camera at all that joy and we’re looking forward to an amazing 2012 season.  Thanks!

Amy and Juan | Los Angeles, CA | A Travel Inspired Art Deco Classic

A formal Catholic ceremony in Pasadena is followed by a train ride to historic Union Station in a wedding that reflects Amy and Juan’s faith, heritage, commitment to the city of Los Angeles, and of course, love for each other.  Amy and Juan have woven the train and travel theme throughout, with train ticket save-the-dates, suitcases, luggage tag escort cards, and a train ride with the bridal party!

Ashlee and Ryan | Playa del Carmen, Mexico | Destination: Vacation

A beach party with a blend of traditional Mexican and unique-to-the-couple details set in a Mayan jungle. How 2012 is that?  Ashlee and Ryan are giving tequila/mexican vanilla in small jars as favors, having guests fill out postcards instead of a guestbook, and making their wedding a week long vacation full of hikes to ancient ruins and lots of beach time.

Candice and Nathaniel | Santa Ana, CA | Hip and Crafty in the Artists Village

A blogger couple with quintessential artisan style. Quirky and offbeat, this wedding will be full of felt flowers, craft beers, and great graphic design.  Their reception is at their local bar, Memphis at the Santora, and their bartender/ friend will be performing their ceremony!

Preeti and Josh | San Diego, CA | A Bollywood Inspired, Two-Day Spectacular

An adorable long distance love story culminates in a traditional Indian American wedding with downtown San Diego flare.  He’s riding in on a camel- what more is there to say?

Shannon and Paul | La Mesa, CA | 1950′s Glam in a Neighborhood Church

A simplified wedding at their neighborhood church, Shannon and Paul are creating a day that’s seeping in emotion.  Instead of a traditional DJ/dance floor, they’re having their uber-talented friends write and perform love songs during their intimate dinner party, making a unique vintage church hall reception meets open mic night.
