I know some people have been waiting for our last episode to come, and it is coming. I am very excited about our last episode. We had our director of the show co-host the last episode with me and he did an amazing job. He made me feel like I was the Chelsea Handler, host of "Chelsea Lately." The show is a must-see!

I am sad to see the show come to an end, but I hope to be working on other shows or in the entertainment business. Things are up in the air at the moment but for now I plan to keep this blog alive with entertainment news and gossip. The show may end but I can't walk away from informing the public and giving my opinion to my fans.

Here's a quick re-cap on this week's news:

Amy Winehouse has been arrested for headbutting two men. No surprise, since her hair looks like it could do some serious damage to anyone standing nearby. If they don't get hit by it then they might get lice from being close it.
Miley Cyrus has gotten even more scandalous with photos of her topless on the cover of Vanity Fair. Disney fans are upset and so is the Hannah Montana star. There has been a dispute as to whether the magazine photographer set her up or if it was a mistake done by Cyrus. The magazinedefends it's position. To be honest, I'm not surprised by all this because Miley is around the age where girls want to look and feel sexy. This is also the age where they start having sex, so where's the sex video?

Those are two top stories I really wanted to share but I'll update more later. For now, I'm going to get some sun while I'm in California. I leave the sunny state tomorrow but have enjoyed every minute here. I'll provide more details as to how my trip has been and the reasons why.

Caron Butler's Birthday with Celebrities

The spotlights were on at The Park at Fourteenth (920 14th St.,NW)in DC on Thursday, March 13th for Washington Wizards' All-Star Caron Butler. The exclusive party began at 9pm, but we didn't arrive until about 10pm. Team players and well-known NFL players arrived to celebrate Caron Butler's 28th around 1am. The real celebrity appearances were the hosts of the party, Carmen Electra and Kim Kardashian.

By the time they all had arrived, the place was packed.This was due to the bouncers who seemed to let in anyone who SAID they were on the list. The only reason people were turned away were if they were not dressed appropriately or if the bouncer didn't want to let them in based on appearance. Luckily, we had no problems getting in and were able to enjoy ourselves.

The music was good but the drinks were pricey with bartenders changing the prices of drinks as the night went on. If the place had not been so crowded, then I might have stayed all night. Maybe next time they can have a limit to the amount of people they let in, so I can have more room to dance the night away.

I hope Kim and Carmen Electra got a tour of D.C. while they were here.

WATCH AND LOVE!

As Oscar night approaches I feel it is important to discuss my two favorite nominees: No Country For Old Men and There Will Be Blood.

I suppose I could write about my love for the cinematography and minimalist music in No Country For Old Men or that There Will Be Blood is this generation's Citizen Kane. But I won't. Instead I want to decide who the bigger badass is: Daniel Day Lewis as Daniel Plainview or Javier Bardem as Anton Chigurh? Anyone who has seen both films knows what I am talking about. So much badassery going on it could cause a nuclear reaction.

On the one hand there is Chigurh, the alien-like assassin whose weapon is so unique and scary I still bug out just thinking about it. Bardem creates a multi-dimensional character by portraying his humorous side to create moments of creepy familiarity; you don't want to be able to relate to him but you do. He is a man of his word, even if that word is a promise of murder.

Then there is Plainview: a determined oil tycoon who is as ruthless as he is cruel. Yet you find yourself fascinated by him, trusting that he must have a shred of decency in him. Like Chigurh, he is a man of his word. As he so famously says: "I told you what I was gonna do." Daniel Day Lewis delivers lines with such intensity you start to question your own worth as a human being. Plainview's desire for revenge and success result in unthinkable outcomes yet you find yourself justifying his sins because you love him that much.

What do I think? I am leaning toward Plainview, but I'm still undecided. Let us know your thoughts on who's the bigger badass and what film you want to see win best picture.

If Dr.Phil can’t do it then no one can! That’s the belief the Spears’ family had when dealing with Britney’s recent hospitalization for . . . we aren’t even sure. Dr.Phil (Phil McGraw) visited Britney at the hospital to counsel her by the request of her family. Afterwards, the unlicensed psychologist stated that Brit “is in dire need of both medical and psychological intervention.” This is news to me! I would never think someone who can’t take care of their children, has shaved their head or lost control could need help! Dr. Phil then claims he is very concerned. Who wouldn’t be?!? The point is Dr.Phil wants some publicity to increase rating and what works better than getting involved with the Brittney.

The Spears Saga of '07

If you haven't heard already (and I'm sure you have) Britney Spears' little sister, Jamie Lynn, is pregnant. The 16 year old Nickelodeon star got knocked up by her boyfriend Casey Aldridge, a boy she met in Church, and has decided to go through with the pregnancy. Britney better watch her back or else Jamie Lynn might steal the Miss Trash USA crown right from her ratty extension-filled head!

Not to be outdone, Britney has kept up with her antics. Right in time for the holidays Britney skanked it up by reportedly dragging a paparazzi photog to a hotel and sleeping with him until the early morning. Girl, you keep that crown. Not even a teenage pregnancy can steal your spotlight, Brit Brit!

In order to solidify her title as Miss Trash USA we have come up with a few more ways that Britney can steal attention away from Jamie Lynn:
1. Reunite with KFed and collaborate on a romantic duet (think Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey's "Where You Are" circa 1999)
2. Britney has hit just about everyone and everything with her car. It's time to move on to bigger and better vehicles. Girl needs to rent out a helicopter and take out the middle of Rodeo Drive as she attempts to land it.
3. Come out with her own Umbrella line so that the rest of America can attack SUVs whenever they please!
4. Get pregnant by 1 of 2 people: Casey Aldridge or Larry Birkhead. Think of all the possibilities! Note: an appearance on Maury would give her bonus points.

Let us know what you think Britney could do to gain back her title as the biggest train wreck in America!

P.S. - The major gossip blogs are buzzing with news that the father of Jamie Lynn's baby isn't in fact Casey Aldridge's, but rather an older man! As always, we'll let you know what we think if the story develops.

Emmy Rossum Addiction

Where’s the theme song to your life? If you live in the city or are always running through life like me, then ‘Slow Me Down’ is it. Her lead single ‘Slow Me Down’ by Emmy Rossum music video caught me off guard. I have not been able to stop playing this song. Her sound resembles Enya meets Imogen Heap.

Her first single 'Slow Me Down' was released July 31 on iTunes along with two other songs and a documentary by Doug Biro that features 'the making-of'. She co-wrote this piece herself after she wrote another song 'Stay'. The video debuted on Sept 25th, 2007, and is off the upcoming album “Inside Out” being released Oct. 23 by Geffen records. Emmy explained her video’s concept as "different speeds because the song's about the pace of life and to create the blur of the world and how overwhelming that can be."

I had never heard of Emmy Rossum until I realized that she was the actress in the 2004 movie Phantom of the Opera. She has also been featured many other shows and movies. As a 21 year old, she appears to have a future as an aspiring musical artist. She has the background credentials from singing with the Metropolitan Opera during her childhood years. The challenge for Emmy will be entering the recording industry. Usually, an actor has a lot of popularity or is a well known celebrity when changing their focus to music. For Emmy, not being well known amongst the public or lacking in publicity may hinder her from making the big leagues.
