Lately I've been trying to be good and not spend so much money on clothes. But with a new season comes a desire for new clothes. Since I tend to live in dresses during the warmer months, I find myself needing more, despite the fact that my closet is absolutely full of them already. And I find myself unable to resist a floral.

Since I find myself with a snow day and my laptop in front of me, I headed over to ModCloth, the go-to place for cute, relatively affordable dresses. I stumbled upon the Open Air Lesson Dress and fell in love with the floral top and the royal blue skirt. It would be perfect with a pair of cognac wedges on a warm, spring day!

There's no denying that Ms. Lauren Conrad looks fabulous no matter where she goes. She was recently in Miami for the Cotton 24 Hour Fashion Show. The California girl went for colorful ensembles early in the day. She wore a yellow Skaist Taylor Pamela Pleated Poplin Dress with Aldo Harvat Wedge Sandals.

She paired those same Aldo sandals with a red Black Halo Stirling Dress.

For the Cotton runway show, Lauren opted for a bold lip and a black Camilla and Marc Calculation Jumpsuit.

The paparazzi spotted Ashley Tisdale doing a little shopping with her niece recently. The two stopped by Barneys in Beverly Hills. Ashley wore a Lovely Bird Lazy Fedora, a Free People Windows to My Soul Pullover, Free People Patched Utility Skinny Jeans in Sandstorm, and the Jeffrey Campbell Youngers Boot.

Her bestie, Vanessa Hudgens, stopped by the DVF Loves Roxy launch event in a comfy and casual outfit. She wore a blazer, tank, skinny jeans, and heels. She accessorized with a House of Harlow 1960 Skull Vial Necklace.

Mrs. Ryan Reynold, a.k.a. Blake Lively, posed for photos at a Gucci event where she wore a plaid dress from the label. And as always, she showed her love for Loubs in a pair of Christian Louboutin Maggie Pumps.

Ashley Benson kept cozy while out in the cold NYC weather this week. She wore a knee-length coat, a white tee, Rag & Bone The Skinny Rock with Holes Jeans (which I have and they're amazing!), and red boots. She carried a Dolce & Gabbana Miss Sicily Raffia Satchel.

Her Spring Breakers costar, Selena Gomez, was spotted leaving P.F. Changs wearing a black coat, white tee, skinny jeans, and gray boots. She added a pop of color with her Beckley by Melissa Cement Print Scarf. Selena carried a Dolce & Gabbana Miss Dolce Crossbody Bag.

For the Otto fashion presentation in Germany earlier this week, Olivia Palermo posed for photos with her equally stylish boyfriend. She wore an Otto Buffalo Blazer in Orange over a white dress and paired with dark green heels.

The leading ladies of Oz: The Great and Powerful have been making loads of appearances lately. Michelle Williams attended the London premiere in a blue, feathered Burberry dress and black Jimmy Choo platform sandals.

Mila Kunis looked splendid in a tiered Alexander McQueen dress.

Miranda Kerr is one Hollywood mom who always has amazing street style. The Victoria's Secret model was spotted in Los Angeles earlier this week. She wore a Stella McCartney Large Check Gingham Blazer, Frame Denim Le Skinny De Jeanne Mid-Rise Skinny Jean, and Givenchy Zipper Ballet Flats. She also wore Prada Heritage Cat-Eye Sunglasses and carried a Givenchy Antigona Duffle.

While in New York, Miranda went for an all-black look with a Givenchy Wool-Blend Double Breasted Coat, The Row Cromer Chunky Sweater, and Helmut Lang Skinny Leather Pants. She shielded her eyes with Alexander Wang London Sunglasses. And as usual, she carried her trust Givenchy Antigona Duffle.

Ladies in floral! Vanessa Hudgens attended a conference for her upcoming movie, Spring Breakers, in a Sachin + Babi Coronado Sleeveless Dress, and ASOS Proxy Pointed High Heels with Toe Cap. She also wore a Cartier Love Bracelet with Diamonds.

Her Spring Breakers co-star, Selena Gomez, was out and about in Encino recently. She embraced the warm weather in an FP ONE Criss Cross Florals Maxi Dress in Ivory. Selena carried a McFadin Sundance Fringe Bag in Stone.

Olivia Palermo always attended the hottest fashion shows and always manages to look fabulous while doing so. The socialite attended the Roberto Cavalli show in a fur-trimmed coat, skinnies, pointed-toe pumps, and Westward Leaning sunglasses.

It should come as no surprise that the beautiful Jennifer Lawrence was my best dressed pick for last night's Oscars. I mean, the girl just looked stunning in Dior, don't you think? And I'm so happy she won Best Actress for her work in Silver Linings Playbook, even though I have yet to see it. But don't worry, I'll make sure it's in my hand the day it's released!

Jennifer just seems like such an amazing, down-to-earth girl and she truly deserves the recognition she's received this year.

Prabal Gurung for Target

Over the weekend I stopped by Target to check out the Prabal Gurung collection, as I'm sure many of you did. Unfortunately, I didn't get everything I wanted since my store, for some reason, didn't even stock half the collection. I have no idea why, but it was such a bummer to find most of the items were missing. I did manage to snag a few things though.

When I saw this dress in photos online, I had no intention of buying it. However, I decided to try it it on the store and its perfect fit persuaded me that I needed to have it.

I have a tendency to collect tank tops, so of course I bought another.

This color was too gorgeous to pass up.

One of the few things I really wanted and was able to snag? This colorful skirt.

Kerry went for soft, feminine colors with her Oscar de la Renta gown that she wore to the NAACP Awards. She carried a Kotur clutch and wore pointed-toe Jimmy Choo heels.

Hollywood's It Girl Jennifer Lawrence attended The Hollywood Reporter's party in a Valentino dress and Brian Atwood peep-toe pumps.

Nina Dobrev was certainly busy over the weekend, as she stopped by two events in one day. She wore a French Connection Alicia Yoke Skater Dress and a Stella & Dot Tempest Necklace for the DirecTV Super Saturday Night.

For the NFL Honors event, the Vampire Diaries star wore a Zuhair Murad dress and Jimmy Choo Linda Glitter Sandals.

Nothing beats a leather mini! Emmy Rossum paired her Rebecca Taylor mini with a zebra sweater and black boots.

Perfect in white! Ashley Greene looked sleek in a silk Giambattista Valli gown for the amfAR gala.

Miranda Kerr was also decked out in white when she stopped by the office of David Jones. She wore Prada Heritage Cat-Eye Sunglasses, a white blouse, Lover Fall 2013 RTW Laser-Cut Skirt, and Valentino Studded Ankle Strap Pumps. She carried a Prada Saffiano Top-Handle Bag.

A pregnant Kate Middleton hid her baby bump underneath a tartan poncho from Zara, which she paired with skinny jeans, and Really Wild Seville Boots while out in London.

Ginnifer Goodwin and Minka Kelly were both looking gorgeous in color this past week. Ginnifer stopped by the Listerine 21 Day Challenge event in a short suit by Misha Nonoo and Jimmy Choo heels.

Minka walked the runway in the Red Dress Collection Fashion Show. This lucky gal got to wear an Oscar de la Renta gown.

Emma Stone and her boyfriend, Andrew Garfield, bundled up and braved the snow while out in New York. Emma wore a Fay Montgomery Trench Coat, skinny jeans, and Isabel Marant Dewar Black Suede Ankle Boots.

Jessica Alba kept warm in a Gerard Darel coat while out in Santa Monica this week. The stylish mom also wore a pair of Big Star Alex Printed Houndstooth Skinny Jeans, and Isabel Marant Bekket Wedge Sneakers.

While Jessica wore layers, Selena Gomez decided to show off her legs in shorts while grabbing some lunch in Los Angeles. The SAG Awards were this past Sunday and two Hollywood stars in Dior Haute Couture were Jennifer Lawrence wore a strapless, navy Dior dress and Jimmy Choo Tease Sandals. She was all smiles as she posed with the award she won for her performance in Silver Linings Playbook.

Marion went for a two-piece with a bustier and skirt, both by Dior, Chopard jewels, and black pointed-toe pumps.

Redhead Jessica Chastain earned herself a lot of Jessica Rabbit comparisons when she slipped into this red Alexander McQueen gown and a Harry Winston necklace for the SAG Awards red carpet.

The Vampire Diaries star Nina Dobrev wore a figure-hugging pink Elie Saab gown for the SAG Awards. She also wore Jimmy Choo Torte Peep-Toe Platform Pumps and carried a Judith Leiber Princess Crystal Clutch.

The day before the awards, Nina attended Entertainment Weekly's Screen Actors Guild Party where she wore a strapless Matthew Willliamson Floral Print Silk Chiffon Gown.

Cate Blanchett took the plunge in a red, sequin Armani Privé gown for the AACTA Awards.

The always stylish Miranda Kerr recently spent some time relaxing in Cancun. Paparazzi spotted her out and about while wearing an Equipment Lucido Leopard-Print Brushed-Silk Shirt Dress and K. Jacques St. Tropez Picon Sandals.

The next day she looked like she was ready for the spring in Tom Ford Campbell Sunglasses, a sweater, floral mini skirt, and green shoes.

Jaime King bundled up in a plaid coat and studded boots for the Forevermark party in Los Angeles.

Ashley Benson sure is loving leather! The Pretty Little Liars star wore an All Saints Walker Leather Biker Jacket, a white blouse, and leather pants while out to Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood. She carried a Rebecca Minkoff Sweetie Bow Bag.

From the green coat (that color looks stunning on her!), to the white blazer, and those shoes! Amazing! Not to mention Kate looks incredibly gorgeous, as usual.

Now does anyone want to buy me these shoes? Seriously. :)

Beauty Essentials

Since I generally don't wear a lot of makeup, there aren't many products I really depend on. I always put on some mascara, use some eyeshadow to line my lower lash line, dab on some concealer and blush and I'm good to go. But don't let that fool you... It still takes me forever to get ready in the morning.

♥ Every gal needs some lipstick in her makeup stash. It's no secret I love NARS lip products and one of my favorites is the hot pink Schiap.

♥ Having freckled, fair skin means a moisturizer with SPF is a must. Neutrogena's Healthy Defense Daily Moisturizer SPF 50 Purescreen is the best I've found for my sensitive, acne-prone skin.

♥ Tarte's cheek stain is a favorite of mine because it lasts and it smells great. Tipsy is my go-to color! And I cannot resist the apricot scent.

♥ Maybelline's Full N' Soft Waterproof Mascara. I haven't found anything better.

♥ My stylist recently introduced me to Redken Guts 10 and let me tell you, I'm obsessed. Finally something that gives my fine hair volume that lasts!

♥ An eyelash curler is a necessity! Shiseido's is my favorite because it easily creates the perfect curl.

♥ No one wants to see those pesky under-eye circles! I cover them up with the amazing Bobbi Brown Corrector.

When it comes to Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, I grew up watching Full House, It Takes Two, Billboard Dad, Passport to Paris, their various TV shows in their older years, and even reading their books and playing with their dolls (which I still have somewhere). Now in my 20s, I still watch Full House regularly, but these days I mostly admire the girls for their fashion sense, even if they sometimes wear some pretty crazy stuff. Perfect layering with a scarf, a classic leather jacket, and a cardigan.

A chic jacket and a pair of fierce Louboutins.

A plaid button-down (a wardrobe staple for me) and a fitted blazer.

The Band of Gypsies Lace & Tulle Dress is absolute perfection, don't you think? I adore the scalloped lace and the layers of tulle for the skirt. It's such a delicate, feminine dress, but it would be easy to toughen it up with a pair of motorcycle boots. Or keep it soft and sweet with a cute pair of flats! Either way, I'm definitely adding it to my wish list.
