PropertySource's integration into the NewPanda platform is coming along great and we'll have lots of exciting updates to show you very soon.  While our IT team has been working night and day on the technical details, our marketing group has been building brand identity.  First up was creating a new logo and mascot. An ambassador for the NewPanda service who could be helpful, accessible, and a little fun. NewPanda is breaking new ground with so many new email, mobile and social tools. We had to take off our corporate hats to create a design that would reflect our new approach to social networking ... and the new, open, social world we now live in. 

We launched a design competition with 99Designs which produced over 200 entries from artists across the globe. We then posted finalists on a voting site for our Facebook and Twitter fans and followers. The votes were clear. We had a landslide winner and we're thrilled with the results!  Keep an eye out, you'll start to see this guy a lot!

Here are a couple images you can use to update your PropertySource website (or any site with custom content features).

Version 1:
Includes a "more" link which you can link to an information page on your site or just point it to a press release sight, like this one from NAR: http://www.realtor.org/press_room/news_releases/2009/11/record_big

Version 2:
Same as above but without the "more" link

To save these to your computer, click the image above, then Right-Click and choose the "Save ..." option.  The images can then be uploaded to your PropertySource or other web site, or incorporated into other eCommunications or print communications.

To use Version 1, you will need to provide additional information as indicated in the image file.  If using the image as a hyperlink, designate an additional source for more information on the sales increase (we suggest the NAR article using the URL above).  You'll need to designate your chosen URL as the source for the hyperlink.

It's not too late to send a Halloween or Fall Back e-Greeting.

It's easy to create a link to your eNewsletter in your FaceBook account!
Use the same principles to add links to your PropertySource web site and other favorite places, too.

To add an eNewsletter link:

1. Login to your Relationship Manager tools and choose eNewsletters from the main menu

2. From the bulleted dropdown menu, select the eNewsletter version you'd like to link to

3. The eNewsletter Information page will open.  Click the View Current eNewsletter link.

4. A new window will open displaying the eNewsletter you've selected.  From the URL bar, copy
    the URL (Click and drag over the URL, then press your CTRL and C keys simultaeously, or
    RIGHT-CLICK on the URL, then choose Copy)

5.  At this point, we recommend you open a Notepad, Wordpad or equivalent document and paste
    the URL you've just copied into it.  That way if you get interrupted or encounter difficulty, you
    can save the document or re-copy the link without having to go through steps 1-4 above.

6. Login to your FaceBook account and view your HomePage

7. From the Attach section, click the Link icon

8. In the Link field, paste or type the URL for your eNewsletter as copied from your Relationship
    Manager tools, then click the Attach button

9. The link will be added to your FaceBook links section and show you a preview of the contents. 
    Click Share to complete the upload process.

10. The link will now appear on your FaceBook HomePage and be visible to your visitors.  Please
      note that links on FaceBook appear in the order created, with the most recent link at the top.

E-mail marketing spending will continue to expand at double-digit rates - 18.5% per year - for the next five years, according to Veronis Suhler Stevenson (VSS), a private equity firm, in its annual Communications Industry Forecast published on August 3. Of all direct marketing segments, e-mail is growing the fastest by far. VSS puts the total spend for e-mail at $11.9 billion in 2008 and, by 2013, it forecasts e-mail will be a $27.8 billion business. “It will be bigger than catalogs and comparable to telesales spending,” said Jim Rutherford, EVP at Veronis Suhler. He said e-mail marketing performed so well because it offers a low-cost alternative to direct mail and other marketing strategies.
