My intuitive guidance told me that understanding and focusing on grace is what’s needed at this time. The division, the hatred and the judgment among us could be at its highest ever. And the FEAR is larger than life for so many right now…. It is time to live with grace.

Grace is the ability to access our heart or our God-like selves and think or act from that place of virtue.

Wikipedia describes grace as “a theological term present in many religions. It has been defined as the divine influence which operates in humans to regenerate and sanctify, to inspire virtuous impulses, and to impart strength to endure trial and resist temptation.” The dictionary describes it in a similar way.

A Christian website described it as “the love of God shown to the unlovely and the peace of God given to the restless.”

Before writing this blog, I didn’t realize that grace was a religious word but I am grateful that the word has become more widely used, even by non-religious people, over time. I hope to expand your knowledge about it, so that you feel compelled to incorporate it more and more into your life by choosing to live with grace.

Grace is unconditional love and kindness.

Grace not only comes from our hearts, it strengthens our hearts when we can access and operate from that place. Embodying it transforms our desires, motivations and behaviour.

When we can embody grace, we feel at the utmost peace and we feel good about ourselves.

Many of us believe that others should think the way we do. We think we see things so clearly that others should be able to do the same. We think that if we find the right words, we can convince others to do what we think they should do.

We can never know what is right for another soul! We don’t know the plan another soul has created for themselves.

Since the pandemic began, I have heard so many people refer to others as “stupid.” The first time I heard this, I became very sad. Those, who are referred to as stupid, have learned other aspects of living here on Earth than we have or have been focused on other things than we have. Or they are simply trusting!

In over half a century of studying people, I have never found people to be stupid. In fact, their intuition about themselves and their lives has always astounded me.

Sometimes I pick up people on the side of the road, who are in need of a drive. Picking strangers up has provided me with some of my biggest and most rewarding teaching moments (are you reading this with judgment or grace, right now? Notice, just notice.) I remember picking up a man who explained that he had just been at the food bank to get groceries for his family. I could tell he was ashamed.

He told me that he never knew, as a kid, how important education actually was. It hit me hard, hearing him talk about his decisions in retrospect. This man was NOT stupid, his childhood had just been filled with so much pain that he couldn’t focus on going to school! He had focused on trying to feel good and that did not include sitting in a classroom.

And remember, there are many who find their way without an education but maybe their pain didn’t impede their abilities to find their way as much as this man’s pain did.

If we are not seeing others with love and compassion, we have not yet gained the perspective we came here to learn. We are not yet living with grace.

We come here, over and over again, to learn grace. There is no rush.

The goal is that each lifetime, we open our hearts more and more, as we experience being male and female, different races, different financial statuses, and experience different levels of health and ability. The more we personally experience, the more compassionate we become of others.

Once we can agree to disagree and continue loving our friends and family, we are there! We have learned to live with grace.

If our friends or family can’t agree to disagree, they might drop us from their lives and they are free to make that decision. If they judge or hurt US, we might first try lovingly setting healthy boundaries with them. If they cannot comply with our boundaries, we might decide they can’t remain in our lives.

But if we do decide to drop someone from our lives, we must continue to see them with grace. This means having compassion for where they are at, based on the lives they have lived. If we cannot see them through the lens of the heart, we may need to seek help (from self-help books or a life coach). If we live with hatred, we are seriously hurting ourselves and we will become sick.

Are you now seeing how important living with grace is? I want this peace for you. Life is so much more beautiful when we can learn to agree to disagree and see others with compassion.

And remember, everything IS happening for a reason. Don’t just say it or pretend you believe it if you don’t. If you truly believe that everything happens for a reason, you simply cannot get as bothered inside about anything that happens around you. This is the foundation of learning to live with grace.

I remember going out for dinner with my family a few years ago and playing a game where we asked each other questions to get to know one another at a deeper level. One of the questions was “If you could remove anything from this world, what would it be?” My answer was “Fear.”

I knew why we need fear – it keeps us safe; it makes us set boundaries with others; it helps us make better choices and more. But I didn’t like what fear does to us when we are unable to dispel it.

Enter Covid-19 – fear filled our world like never before. With this virus, there were too many unknowns and, in many cases, the unknowns have remained to this day. Even in times of war, we understood the situation we were in and the inherent risks more than we understand this virus.

Increasing our knowledge (1) and taking action steps (2) are always two foolproof ways to put an end to our fears. With this virus, the information on how to protect ourselves kept changing and we couldn’t take action to change our situation. And, even worse, there was been no end in sight – no date or promise that we would ever return to the way things once were.

We couldn’t even distract ourselves with trips, nights out with friends or exercise classes. We couldn’t attend family functions or our usual celebrations. Some of us entered complete isolation for days on end – the worst form of punishment in a prison and a big cause of fear. And worst of all, our loved ones became sick or died from the virus, often suffering completely alone.

Those who fared reasonably well over the fifteen months, dispelled much of the fear by refraining from listening to the news and horrible predictions for our future; they spent time in nature; they chose goals and worked towards achieving them; and they became preoccupied with doing what filled them up inside. In effect, they found ways to change their focus (3) or ‘escape’ this world (4).

What I find so fascinating about our situation is that if any of us were living off the grid, we never would have been affected by any of this.

I also became acutely aware that we each had a choice as to how much fear we actually allowed in. If we stayed glued to social media or the news or found ourselves talking to lots of people, it was hard not to be filled with fear. If we did our jobs or spent time with our children, each and every day, it was very easy to stay in the present moment and prevent fear from seeping in.

Enter Covid-19 shots. On top of coping with our fear, the division among us reached whole new heights, which in turn escalated our fear. We watched as our thoughts divided us into two camps – those who believed the shot would save us and those who believed it would kill us or render us sick.

It was at this time that I had many people come to me for life coaching, who some would describe as inconsolable. I noticed that the more faith individuals had, the less fear they allowed into their minds (5).

One mother came to me in a panicked state and listed all her worries for her children and grandchildren, one of which was their potential death. She cried so hard and so loudly, as she spoke, overcome with fear. She had come to me for years but, this time, I knew my words could not comfort her. I said very little in response and, for the very first time, asked her if I could do hands-on healing for her.

I cupped both her ears in my hands to ground her. Within minutes, she started yawning, a sign of release. Within a few more minutes, she was visibly more relaxed. Within a few more minutes, she asked how I knew to help her in this way. I explained that there was no other way to get her to this relaxed place so quickly. I continued with hands-on healing for about 45 minutes.

By the time she got off the table, she was calm and collected. She was centered. She had connected with her inner voice and she shared what it had said to her. It said, “There is nothing you can do right now. You can only have faith. ” She needed nothing else from me; we both knew it.

If we connect with our inner voice (6), it will always calm us. Always. The trick is hearing it. We can hear it in the shower, on a drive, while gardening, while cleaning, while doing something creative, while spending time in nature and in a multitude of other ways. It can come to us at any time. It’s the voice that calms us. It’s the thoughts or words that give us new perspective.

We will remain in fear or upset until we get the perspective that heals us (7). Whenever we are suffering, especially if our suffering seems too much to bear, all we need is perspective. We can acquire the perspective we need by hearing our inner voice (as previously explained), talking to another, reading self-help books or listening to audios, just to give a few examples.

We will know we have acquired the right perspective when we finally feel calm. And we feel calm when our subconscious minds know we have hit upon the truth (8).

I remember feeling so incredibly angry and sad a few years ago. I did cardio for over an hour and that got me some of the perspective I needed. Then, I spoke to a friend and that got me even closer. And when I journaled, I got all the way there!

Could I have just journaled and got the perspective I needed? No, because I had to release my negative emotions in a healthy way (9) first and then that created the room for the new perspective to arrive. Sometimes, THAT is what is needed first.

So, you can see there are many ways to dispel fear. One or a combination of these methods has always worked for me, as well as, my clients. My hope is that this information helps you or someone you know who needs it right now.

I am The Resourceful Mother and I connect families to health and happiness – physically, emotionally and spiritually. I help youth, adults and couples identify, release and clear their fear in a multitude of ways, emotionally and spiritually. I also teach people the foods that augment fear and those that diminish it, as well as, the supplements and remedies that lessen fear.

Whether you are a pre-teen, teen or young adult, I want to relay some important information to you and help you in unique ways…

You are more evolved and more aware than the adults who surround you. You may not have developed the smarts that we have acquired from being on Earth for longer than you but you are wiser than us.

You look at the paper we write on and wonder why we waste it. You look at the trees we have cut down and the forests we continue to destroy, knowing what that does to our oxygen supply and ozone layer. You look at the plastics and other garbage we carelessly discard and see we are ruining the ecosystems of our oceans. You are appalled at the gas we burn through and the other natural resources we continue to waste.

You see how our schools don’t meet the needs of many of their students. You see how certain religions force you into thinking you have sinned or make you feel badly for thinking the way we do as humans. You see how stores sell inexpensive or unnecessary clothing and other items that you know were made cheaply by using child labour.

You see all the inconsistencies in how our leaders are handling this virus and question how science can possibly not be black and white (it can’t). You know that the world stopping is not your fault but the fault of the adults who surround you. And, as you try to live your life, almost everywhere you turn, you are being told you can’t do what you want.

You have a heightened sense of what is right and wrong. You can’t fathom what we have been doing for all these decades before you arrived here! Very few of you are focused on making money. You can’t fathom the greed that has damaged our Earth and ruled our decisions. As a result, many of you question whether you even want to bring babies into a world that seems so messed up.

Now, here is the thing….

You came here with an increased consciousness/awareness to make this world a better place. You each see a particular problem you are here to help us solve. But, too many of you are suffering because of us and our poor decisions. You need to find your way again. You need to remember your importance.

Not ONE of you, no matter how lost you are right now, made a mistake in coming here. I am 100% certain of this.

Don’t let the adults tell you that you are lazy; you just haven’t found what fills you up inside and motivates you! Don’t be mad at yourself for wanting to enjoy your life and escaping by watching Tik Tok videos; they have put a smile on my face and lifted my spirits too during all these lockdowns! Don’t hate yourself because those around you hate themselves or their lives and take their anger out on you.

Others’ negative thoughts and decisions have nothing to do with YOU!

You are facing challenges that your soul knew you could overcome. You are filled with wonderful qualities; you just need to see them. You made no mistakes in choosing your family members; they are your greatest teachers, even if they teach you by their poor example.

I want you to stay here until you acquire a force in you that nothing can destroy. I want you to arrive at Heaven’s gates, overflowing with pride in yourself, because you:

Transcended suffering

Found a way to love yourself, others and your life

Made a difference here on Earth, even if it was making others’ laugh when there is so much seriousness all around us

This is possible for each of you, no matter how unhappy you are right now or how much of a failure you believe yourself to be.

I am here to help you. Since our most recent lockdown began, I have offered life coaching to each and every one of you, at no charge. Many of you have taken me up on my offer and you have become happier as a result. I want to help more of you see your life with new perspective, see your worth and understand how to live the life you came here to live.

You can make a difference by sharing your ideas with me as to how we can reach others and all come together, so that more of you can learn how to accomplish what you came here to do. All I know is that this will happen, one way or another, because I know the power of thought in manifesting for the greater good.

A year ago, the world essentially shut down. At that time, I began doing something I called, ‘Corona Journaling’ on Facebook, over the course of three months, in an effort to help people come to terms with what was happening and feel more positive. The feedback was so wonderful, online and through other means that I decided to create a 25-page digital journal to help people in many other ways.

What does journaling do for us?

Journaling is one of the oldest forms of self-help in the world. The blank paper, upon which we write, never holds any judgment. Journaling can be cathartic, integrative, infinitely insightful and a highly effective way to connect with our inner selves.

Writing our unhappy feelings down is a healthy way to RELEASE our pain – our negative feelings need to get out of our bodies! When we write down our anger, pain or fear, we move our thoughts and feelings from our sub-conscious minds into our conscious minds. This increased awareness allows us to truly connect to the way we feel and then process our thoughts and feelings more effectively.

Journaling can also include recording our happy and positive feelings. This is a highly effective way to FEEL our happiness and gratitude at a deeper level and for longer periods of time. Even when we suffer, we can find something to be appreciative of i.e. maybe someone protected or comforted us or enriched our lives in some way or maybe we have more compassion now for ourselves or others.

And the more we focus on the good, the more good we attract into our lives, whether that is circumstances or people!

Over the forty years or so that I have been journaling, I have discovered that there is also a specific way to journal that literally helps you process your past correctly, see your worth and create the abundance in your life that we ALL deserve. I decided to call this form of journaling, “Soul Journaling to Transform”.

To register for my next online Soul Journaling to Transform workshop, click on this link: https://bit.ly/TheResourcefulMotherWorkshops

What are 10 ways in which “Soul Journaling to Transform” will benefit you?

It is a multi-faceted method to help you:

Identify, experience and process your feelings around the things that happen to you

Feel and release the pain emanating from what you experience

Find the truth that brings you inner peace around the things that happen to you

Identify the lessons you are learning as you go through life

See who you are more clearly, celebrating that, as well as, your accomplishments

Record your happy feelings, gratitude and positivity, so that you attract more abundance into your lives

Forgive yourself and others (forgiveness is not what most people think it is!)

Take the steps to come to love yourself more and more

Arrive at solutions to your challenges by accessing your inner wisdom

Use that wisdom to grow (cultivate integrity and wholesome pleasure) and move forward as your best self, truly enjoying life

Soul Journaling to Transform – A Portal to Loving Yourself

The end goal of Soul Journaling to Transform is coming to love yourself. When you do “the work”, you come to understand and/or love all aspects of yourself – your past, your mistakes, the things you are not good at, the aspects of your body that are not your favourite, and your fears…

You will have the courage to be who you truly are in every single moment, no matter, who you are with or where you are. It is a lot of work to hide your true feelings, thoughts and beliefs and to watch what you say and do all the time. When you love yourself, you don’t have to be someone you are not; you are free; you forgive yourself, clearly seeing the lessons you have learned.

And your life will become infinitely easier.

When we come to a place where you enjoy being with yourself, sometimes more than with others, you know you love yourself to a great degree. You will see the beauty in yourself, in others and in the world around you.

Is this really possible, you ask? I am living proof that it is! And this is what makes me the perfect teacher for you!

Just over a year ago, I became acutely aware of the fact that far too many didn’t have a reverence for life and this troubled me greatly. I observed that the majority of individuals who did revere life, had suffered greatly on Earth, and had come out the other side. I decided that all I could do about this pervasive problem was to help those I knew see the greatness within themselves and all around them.

Enter Covid –19. A global lockdown ensued where our basic rights and freedoms were forcibly removed. We couldn’t leave our homes, socialize with anyone in person, travel, participate in spiritual or religious gatherings, go to the gym, play group sports, or frequent places that filled us up inside. And as if that wasn’t enough, many lost their businesses or sources of income. Others became sick or died .

Here we are, one year later (March 13th is when it was announced that all major league sports would be shutting down). One year later of sadness, anger, fear, confusion, depression, despair, and, in some cases, suicidal thoughts. One year later of deepening awareness of ourselves and our world – no matter what stage of development our souls were at, each of us became more aware in one way or another.

For many years now, I have seen the patterns in the collective. What I am seeing now is still a lot of fear and people going back and forth in their thoughts, as they contemplate their future and that of the world. What I am also starting to see come through the cracks is….

…A GREATER REVERENCE FOR LIFE.

But a lot of people are not conscious of this. I believe one of my jobs is to help people see this reverence for life and help cultivate it. Let me tell you what I mean.

I see people smiling at one another more. I see individuals being friendlier. I see others opening up more deeply with one another. I see people dressing up more when they go out because they spent so much of their time in casual clothes or their pyjamas!

I feel people enjoying themselves more than they have in a long time when they are out together. People’s eyes are wide open, taking in their surroundings and meeting eyes with strangers. I see individuals thanking strangers for conversations they engage in with one another. I see individuals appreciating small gestures, nature, invitations, small successes and things that have always existed.

I feel a new closeness between all of us. Yes, friendships have ended and, in some cases, prejudism and judgment have increased temporarily. But when we go out into the world, for a walk or to a coffee shop, you will likely notice that you can truly feel the comradery. It is simply beautiful to watch.

And people’s plans! They want to travel somewhere they have always wanted to see but kept delaying. They want to recognize the importance of others in their lives. They want to celebrate things in larger ways. They want to relish their freedom and use it to its fullest.

And some plan to never go back to how they were living! They want to continue to spend their money more wisely, be with their children more often than they were, meditate more often or take more time to play and enjoy life than they did previously. Others plan to eat better to keep their immune systems strong and age gracefully. Others have switched jobs and are now passionate about what they do.

There is now a reverence for life in the hearts of the majority. Chills are ripping down my body as I write this because this is the TRUTH. And the truth is that we need to be continually cultivating our reverence for life, so that this way of thinking permeates our minds.

When we have a reverence for life, we enjoy ourselves more thoroughly. We can handle our soul lessons with more grace. We feel good inside. We feel real joy coursing through our veins. Our hearts can open more widely (to learn more about this, click on this link).

And, here’s the thing. Our souls chose to come here TO do all these things. Do you think we agreed to come here, so that we could be miserable and live in fear? Not a chance. We would never have agreed to that. It is a privilege to have this earthly experience – to feel pleasure in our human bodies – to eat delicious food, feel the warm touch of another, to dance enjoying all the ways our bodies can move, to feel our breath as it relaxes us, to luxuriate in a candlelit bath, and to feel connected to spirits and our guides from here.

You and I both know how incredible it feels to be improving ourselves, to feel pride in doing the right thing, to act and speak with integrity, and to treat ourselves and others with respect. These are all ways in which we cultivate a reverence for life. This is what we get to do here on Earth. And when we have this reverence for life, everything is beautiful.

And as if that isn’t enough, there is another huge benefit – think of a child who receives a gift. When they are so appreciative and express gratitude, the universe wants to give that child more. When they are unappreciative, the universe wants to give them less. A reverence for life cultivates abundance.

At a personal level, I feel infinitely grateful to witness this cosmic reset. I see the pain everyone has been going through but I feel proud to get to watch the amazing results. I look forward to the fun and frivolity that is coming for all of us. I look forward to seeing everyone hug with feeling. I look forward to watching people exercise their deepest desires and ensuring their dreams come true.

I look forward to witnessing everyone cultivate a greater reverence for life, whether they are conscious of it or not.

“God created each of us with our own unique potential and a divine destiny to reach that potential, no matter how much time, pain, and sacrifice it takes. Ultimately, we never fail. We can’t. Whether we run, walk, crawl, or wander off on a hundred dead-end shortcuts, we will inevitably achieve the greatness that is our birthright, and our brief trips away from Home are part of the path toward greatness.”
Sylvia Browne

I don’t think I have ever written more important blog than this one.

“Be the love you want to see in the world and watch your life transform.” You have heard many versions of this throughout your lifetime, I am sure. BUT, very few seem to know that opening our hearts is the secret to our peace and happiness. This is also the secret to creating the peace and happiness we crave in our world! Our inner and outer world is always a reflection of how we think and feel.

We all have the same goal, whether we are conscious of it or not, of self-mastery. We achieve self-mastery by becoming the master of our thoughts, feelings, and physical body. How do we do this exactly, you ask?

We start out as babies and children, completely dependent on others within our home and school to have our needs met. Invariably, our needs are never fully met. We might have our physical needs met but we don’t receive our love language or we develop incorrect beliefs about ourselves that limit our happiness or success.

These unmet needs prevent us from loving ourselves. These feelings cause us to adopt all sorts of unhealthy habits or patterns to fill the emptiness within ourselves, assuage our pain or bring us short-term pleasure.

We control others when we don’t feel in control ourselves. We become perfectionists when we continually judge ourselves and others as deficient. And the more we judge, the more deficiencies we see. We get into substance abuse to anesthetize our repressed feelings. We become emotionally abusive because we are afraid of or feel we don’t deserve intimacy with others.

All our pain and subsequent unhealthy patterns dictate the course of our lives… until we start doing ‘the work’.

‘The work’ is coming to love ourselves. We all spend our lives trying to love ourselves but if we consciously focus on this task, we make headway so much faster!

We need to forgive ourselves for not receiving what we needed and for developing unhealthy patterns as a result (Chapter 4 of my second book explains how to accomplish this task). Then, we need to forgive those that hurt us; forgiveness is not what the majority think it is! Then, we need to take the steps to coming to love ourselves (it is the largest chapter in the book).

But I digress…Yes, my book will help you but, right now, I am trying to show you how opening our hearts creates the inner and outer abundance we all crave….

Let me re-cap:

We have unmet needs.

Our pain causes us to develop unhealthy patterns until…

We stop seeing ourselves as victims and come to forgive ourselves and those that hurt us and take the actual steps to coming to love ourselves.

Then, what happens?

We find that the more we love who we are, the more unhealthy patterns we drop, which in turn, makes us love and respect ourselves even more.

The more we love and respect ourselves, the more we are able to love and respect others.

Our love for ourselves and others grows, opening our hearts, more and more, helping us access our God-like selves, which then help us think, feel and act from the highest vision possible.

Opening our hearts allows us to see ourselves from the highest vision possible, which lifts us up to a higher frequency through which Universal Intelligence can then manifest equivalent conditions and experiences in our lives. Once the majority of us have this kind of self-mastery, we can change the world in the same way.

And you might say, ‘Meredith, that’s nice. This will never happen.” And, I would say this to you:

If you don’t open your hearts to yourself and others, you will NEVER obtain the peace and happiness you so badly want in your life, never mind change the world! It’s as simple as that.

We can start with opening our hearts this Valentine’s Day. Last year, I wrote a blog explaining that February 14th is not just another Hallmark holiday and described its’ importance. Valentine’s Day is a perfect day to start seeing your greatness and share your heart with others.

We are seeing the highest amount of drug use ever in the history of mankind. 10,000 people die of drug abuse each day around the world. In the summer of 2020, drug overdoses causing death reached an all time high, with 170 individuals dying in July in the province of British Columbia alone, as reported by Canada’s Chief Public Health Officer.

The majority are not aware that there is a highly effective, multi-faceted program that addresses drug and alcohol detoxification completely naturally for individuals aged fifteen or older!

In 2007, after losing my brother to drugs, my mother, Maggie Gold purchased a proprietary formula that had been used successfully over the course of 10 years, to treat thousands of individuals with alcohol or drug dependency in the United States and Mexico.

She combined the formula with other modalities to create a Canadian program that has helped even more individuals detoxify from all kinds of drugs and alcohol.

This all-natural drug and alcohol detox program is designed to help individuals:

Stop using alcohol and drugs

Reduce cravings

Experience a gentler withdrawal process

Give the body the amino acids, glutathione, minerals and vitamins it needs

Improve cognitive function by regenerating and balancing the neurotransmitters i.e. the parts of the brain damaged by the use of drugs or alcohol.

This program offers:

Emotional and Nutritional Support
This is comprised of a series of life coaching and nutritional consulting sessions, offered by myself, to help individuals end substance abuse. Individuals are guided to discover the root cause of their drug or alcohol addiction, process their past in a healthy way, uncover and eliminate incorrect beliefs about themselves, and take the actual steps to coming to forgive and love themselves.

Mentoring Support
There are four individuals, who have successfully detoxified from alcohol, prescription and/or non-prescription drugs through this program. They have offered to mentor and inspire others who want to do the same. Individuals signing up for this program can choose the individual they want to meet with in my presence (online or in-person).

Please click on https://theresourcefulmother.com/all-natural-drug-and-alcohol-detoxification-program/ and watch the top video to get to know the mentors!

A Choice of a Suppository or Intravenous program

The Suppository Program – This is a 31-day at-home program that can be used by individuals in Canada, who are or have been addicted to alcohol and/or soft drugs i.e. marijuana. Suppositories are in solid dosage form and are inserted rectally. As soon as it is inserted, it dissolves for 15 minutes and goes through the blood-brain barrier and is quickly absorbed, giving maximum bio-availability to the body and brain.

There is a Naturopathic intake/consultation on Day 1. Suppositories are taken twice daily. And then there is another naturopathic evaluation/consultation on Day 31. Support, as needed, is offered throughout the month. Please click on https://theresourcefulmother.com/all-natural-drug-and-alcohol-detoxification-program/ to learn more about the Naturopathic Physician, Dr Nick Jensen and watch the video he created.

Daily 45-minute (approximately) far-infrared sauna sessions and showers, immediately following, are vital for the first 10 days to assist in the detoxification of the brain and body and overcoming withdrawal symptoms.

OR

The Intravenous Program – This is a 15-20 day, in-clinic (Vancouver) outpatient program for those individuals addicted to alcohol and/or recreational or prescription drugs of any kind. This includes individuals, who have been or are addicted to opiates, selective serotonin re-uptake inhibitors (SSRIs), benzodiazepine (benzos), hard drugs or have had long-term use of any drug.

This program includes daily 45-minute (approximately) far-infrared sauna sessions and a one-hour massage to augment the detoxification process. All parts of this intravenous program are monitored by the Naturopathic Doctor.

There is an option to use the hyperbaric oxygen chamber, Brain Map and Neurofeedback, Brain Tap and a variety of other therapeutic tools to ensure optimal wellness, for an additional charge.

This all-natural drug and alcohol detox program delivers the following to the body – through suppositories or intravenous therapy:

NNR (Neuroreceptor Repair and Regeneration) is a proprietary formula of specific amino acids (the building blocks that make up all the proteins in the body), vitamins and trace minerals that crosses the blood-brain barrier and works synergistically to repair and rejuvenate the neurotransmitters of the brain. This formula is also designed to reduce stress and cravings.

NAD (Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide) is an activated form of Vitamin B3, which becomes a coenzyme when it is bound with hydrogen the mitochondria of every cell. This essential cellular fuel is the explosive power the body needs, along with oxygen, to breathe, have energy, digest food, and think.

It is designed to restore energy to the brain and heart, strengthen the immune system, and increase the production of dopamine, serotonin and nor-adrenaline to improve moods. It also stimulates nitric oxide production, thereby improving blood flow in the body. It is fast-acting and has long-term effects.

Lack of this essential cellular fuel is now recognized as a key feature of chronic fatigue, apathy, depression, anxiety, alcohol and drug addiction, weak immunity, muscle pain and weakness, headaches, memory and concentration disturbances, sleep problems, and chronic diseases. NAD deficiency may be an unrecognized culprit for the epidemic of cellular disease.

Glutathione is the anti-oxidant in every human cell that protects the brain and the liver’s biotransformation system. A high percentage of the blood that leaves the stomach and intestines passes through the liver. The blood carries important nutrients to the liver where they are metabolized into substances vital to life.

In the same way, exogenous toxic substances reach the liver, where they are either activated or transformed into less toxic derivatives. Glutathione effectively boosts the intracellular levels of this powerful antioxidant and is a wonderful sleep aid.

Deep emotional pain is always behind addiction. Continual alcohol and drug use creates vitamin and mineral deficiencies that cause cravings in the body, which makes individuals perpetually want more alcohol and drugs. This is how an endless cycle ensues. This program addresses the root cause of each individual’s pain, emotionally and nutritionally, and stops the cycle.

This program is less expensive than Rehabilitation and is completely holistic. Individuals, who truly want help coming off alcohol and drugs and living their best lives, finally have the help they need!

Hi! I’m Meredith Deasley BA, RHN, RNCP, ACC, an accredited life coach and registered holistic nutritionist. I have connected families to health and happiness for almost 20 years now. I am absolutely thrilled to be able to offer this program in partnership with my mother and Dr. Jensen. So far, we have been 100% effective in helping individuals come off alcohol and drugs.

Well, this was a year like no other. It was shocking, painful, chaotic, confusing and disheartening. Our trust in our leaders, scientists, medical experts, police, media and other societal systems was put into question time and time again.

Our freedom was seriously curtailed. Our connection to others was severely limited. Many turned on each other as their differences became more apparent and their fear heightened. People lost their jobs, homes or, in some cases, their lives. So many lost hope – they lost hope in the future; they lost hope that they were safe; they lost hope that they could ever be healthy or happy in this world.

Many of us had moments of feeling like we were children again, being sent to our room and told to think about what we had done. We were forced to analyze how we had been living all our prior years. We saw the ways in which we had been wasteful, the ways in which we had hurt our planet, the ways in which we had been unappreciative and the ways in which we had been hurting ourselves or others.

If I continued to live, seeing everything that has gone wrong in 2020, I would be absolutely miserable and so would those I help. It does not serve us to dwell on the negative; it never has and it never will – this year and these circumstances are no different than any other when it comes to our way of thinking.

As with every tragedy that befalls us, we must SEE the GOOD. We must SEE the LESSONS. And we must GROW from it all. Our souls come here to grow.

No one can make us stop growing, except for ourselves – NO ONE. That is a freedom no one can take away from us.

I have never suggested that others do “the work” without me doing it as well. So, I will now set the example as to how to extract the learnings and the positives from a year that caused us so much pain. Here are 20 learnings I gained in 2020:

I learned to ask people to tell me what would make them feel most comfortable when it came to the precautions they needed to take in order to feel safe from contracting Covid-19, whether that entailed meeting online, wearing a mask or keeping a certain distance i.e. 3, 6 or 9 ft apart. That made me feel good inside and helped others feel comfortable in my presence.

When others strongly believed in concepts or people I didn’t believe in, I learned it was not my job to try to change anyone’s mind nor could I. I realized that the most I could do was let them know there is always a different viewpoint.

When the news and even medical science became contradictory, I learned not to trust either of them when it came to Covid-19. Instead, I focused on doing what felt right to me, by connecting with my inner self, while patiently waiting for over 9 months, so far, for the truth to be revealed and obvious to all.

I was able to clearly see who was filled with fear and who was not and who was dwelling on the negative and who was dwelling on the positive. I had never seen fear or a preoccupation with negativity so clearly before. I learned to be okay with however others were feeling and to help those who wanted a new perspective.

I got cyber bullied for the first time because my viewpoints didn’t match the way others see the world. That made me come to understand others better and become even more humble.

I discovered I could be happy, no matter how many freedoms were stripped from my life and how much fear surrounded me. And I found new and unique ways to feel free within my mind, such as exploring new beaches, provincial parks or old hobbies. I even enjoyed rebelling sometimes because that’s what helped me maintain my mental health – and no, I don’t feel the need to tell you how I did that!

I was filled with more gratitude for my life than ever before because I witnessed so many people living with others who hurt them, becoming sick, losing their jobs, coping with great anxiety or depression etc.

I fortified my relationships with others because collectively, we were all facing the large obstacles brought on by Covid-19.

I became very clear as to how I could make a difference in this world and how I couldn’t. I am not here to change who is in power or the mandates that are put in place; others have that role. I am here to help others cope and find joy despite what goes on around us.

I discovered how to help my clients, even under these horrific circumstances. And I loved helping them better themselves and their lives. One quit his job in an executive position to become president of another company; many got off drugs or alcohol; one started his own company after learning all the ways to manifest what one wants; three learned to finally set boundaries with their family members, just to give a few examples.

I learned how to conquer my fear of doing online workshops and actually relished offering each and every one of them; yes, there are more to come in 2021!

I got to work on so many other creative business projects that I never had the time for previously and found that I could help others in more ways having completed these projects i.e. my “digital journal to soul transformation’, my ‘corona journaling’, my recordings, my corporate seminars and the partnerships I forged to help individuals detoxify from drugs and alcohol.

Within a week of Covid-19 hitting Ontario, I re-learned all the ways to strengthen our immunity (please click on this link to read that blog post) and began focusing on it. And I found I was able to eat less sugar because I no longer felt I needed it for short bursts of energy to do everything I was doing previously.

I learned to live ‘in the flow’ like never before because I wasn’t cramming so much into my days. I was able to be in the present moment more and simply ENJOY.

I became much more at peace with myself due to the world slowing down. As a result, I learned more than ever how to see the greatness all around us. And I got better at teaching others how to be more at peace with themselves and see the greatness within themselves and around them.

I discovered the power of a smile. So many times I was surrounded by sad, down or scared individuals and I got to see how my smile, smiling eyes or jokes relaxed them or opened them up, so they could release their fears.

I was able to observe how Covid-19 and all the planetary shifts were increasing our awareness like never before. For example, when children began painting the rocks and leaving them in so many neighbourhoods to give people hope, it opened the hearts of those who were lucky enough to come upon them. But some criticized the art because the paint being used was toxic and harming our environment. Increased awareness is designed to open our hearts and take better care of our world.

I became acutely aware of the incredible healing effects of being in nature, listening to music, exercising, being creative and eating healthily. This had never been so obvious to me before – I saw how all five had the capability to completely transform me when I felt down about our circumstances.

I learned that the world could be shut down and that there was nothing anyone could do about it (at least, not right away), no matter how powerful anyone thought they were.

I strengthened my relationship with the universe, knowing that having faith was all I could rely upon when our whole physical world had been turned upside down and threats regarding our future were continually being made.

As one client said to me, “I feel as though I have evolved ten years since this all started.” I couldn’t agree more. It was a HUGE year for learning. And no time is ever wasted, as long as we are learning.

My hope is that reading this, you might feel compelled to put pen to paper and become acutely aware of what YOU learned over this past year. Going through this process certainly made me realize how much I accomplished in a year in which we were placed in lockdown, so much of the time.

The Winter Solstice on Dec 21, 2020 ushers in the Age of Aquarius – a time of freedom and change. This does not mean there won’t be further challenges for us. Remember to continue finding ways to enjoy yourselves, no matter what goes on around us. Remember to see the good, as opposed to dwelling on the bad. Remember to hold the faith for the emergence of a safer and happier world.

The vast majority of us have been living with extreme restrictions over the past eight months and counting.

In that time, some of us have been living with people who don’t love and appreciate us. Some of us have had to get our food from a food bank. Some of us have been living with depression, anxiety or sleep challenges for the first time in our lives. Some of us have been trying to cope with loneliness. Some of us have been struggling with learning on-line. Some of us have been struggling with health issues, possibly Covid-19 itself.

None of us are able to do everything we want to do right now. None of us have control of the trajectory of our lives. For those of us living with restrictions, none of us know when the Covid-19 restrictions will end or what our future holds.

Our souls came to Earth to have and experience free will. What is happening right now goes against our very core; it seems to go against our purpose for being here.

But how does a prisoner find happiness when facing a life sentence? They find freedom within their mind. They start working out, reading, writing, helping others or getting an education, just to give a few examples. What does a life coaching client do every time they truly want to get well? They find a new perspective, a new way of looking at things, so they can create a new path for themselves.

During this pandemic, some have turned to drugs and alcohol and others have become more determined than ever to stop. Some have been afraid of technology and others have taken courses or sought help to learn how to make technology work for them. Some, who have not been loved or appreciated by those with whom they live, have sought counsel, started the process of coming to love themselves and/or begun setting boundaries.

Everything happens FOR us not TO us. And everything happens for a reason.

I hear people saying these words but know they don’t believe them. How do I know? Because if after eight months of living with Covid-19 restrictions, you are still fighting it, you don’t believe that everything happens for us or that everything happens for a reason. Now, if you are a lawyer fighting for us, you are in a position that allows you to fight for our constitutional rights and that’s different.

When it comes to the rest of us, when we fight restrictions that most of the world has been subjected to, we are living “in resistance”. We can be unhappy with the restrictions but if we let our negative feelings consume us, we only end up hurting ourselves. By changing our perspective, we CAN live “in the flow” and experience freedom, joy and purpose like never before.

Our souls come here to learn and grow, while enjoying themselves.

Our souls can accomplish their goals whether we travel or not, whether we have money or not, whether we have a certain job or not, whether we are sick or not (yes!) or whether we have any kind of challenge!

If we truly enjoy the present moment, we experience free will, learn and grow AND enjoy ourselves. And we can only enjoy the present moment if we choose not to live in fear but bask in LOVE.

When each of us finds the things that fill us up inside and bring joy into our lives, Covid-19 will take a back seat in our minds.

When we decide to focus on what is going right, as opposed to what is going wrong, we stop “resisting” and start “living in the flow”. When we decide to forgive ourselves for our past mistakes, knowing we were in a different level of awareness at that time, and start seeing the lessons we learned, we can enjoy ourselves more thoroughly.

And if we do all of this but the Covid-19 restrictions don’t end right away, our souls will still be accomplishing what they came here to do. And there is actually nothing more important than our souls completing their mission here.

Hi! I’m The Resourceful Mother and I have been connecting families to health and happiness for almost 20 years.
Last year, the Canadian Institute for Health announced that 25,000 Canadians were hospitalized or died from deliberate self-harm. This data was collected before the onset of Covid-19. This figure doesn’t include people who went to emergency rooms and weren’t admitted or those who obtained help from primary healthcare providers or other local services.

Since the arrival of Covid-19, The Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) has reported a pronounced rise in mental health concerns and suicidal thoughts. The relapse and overdose rate has increased by 30% since March 2020. Covid-19 has triggered anxiety over health risks, prolonged confinement, financial security and much more. In British Columbia, Canada almost 170 individuals ended their lives each month this past summer.

With much of the world still living under Covid–19 restrictions, I am deeply concerned that far too many will suffer physically, mentally and/or emotionally in major ways.

In an effort to prevent or put an end to some of this suffering, I have created an online workshop that will describe various methods to help turn things around.

Are you, someone you know, or one of your clients suffering from?
