Shahrukh Khan is fast proving to be the king of cameos. Quite contradictory to the mean(matlabi) image which Salman Khan accused Shahrukh Khan of. Shahrukh Khan has done special appearances in films like I see You, Heyy Babyy, Bhootnath and played sutradhaar in Kismet Konnection. Shahrukh khan will be doing yet another special appearance in Vivek Sharma(Bhoothnath director) directed film Kal Kisne Dekha to be released next year. "We've known each other for 18 years now. I first met Shah Rukh Khan in 1991. At that time I was working with Rekha. He asked me if I would do his make-up for his film Chamatkar. I have done his make-up ever since,” reminiscences Indulkar. Indulkar is one of Shah Rukh Khan Khan's friends who has been with him through thick and thin. Having seen the star right from his struggling days, Indulkar fondly recalls the simple and humble Shah Rukh Khan he knows.

"During his early days when he was trying to get a foothold in the industry, he used to keep travelling from Bombay to Delhi and back. Sometimes, when he didn't have enough money to travel to Delhi, his secretary Anwar and I used give him money from our daily travelling allowance. Shah Rukh Khan did not own a car then. He would travel in rickshaws, ferries and trains,” fondly recalls Indulkar. “He is very simple at heart and it is heart-warming to see the metamorphosis. He is the biggest star today but he still treats me with the same respect and affection," says Indulkar.

Reminiscing about the old times, Indulkar distinctly remembers one particular incident where Shah Rukh Khan's car was seized. “This was around a decade ago. We were shooting once and people from the bank came to seize Shah Rukh's car. They asked the driver to open the car and at that time, all of his fan mail was stored in the car. They seized the car because, one of his friends had taken a loan on it and hadn't repaid it," recalls Indulkar.

Having been his make-up artist, Indulkar says with a chuckle, “Generally actors take care of their skin a lot, but Shah Rukh Khan doesn't do anything at all. He just washes his face and that's it. I use MAC foundation for him usually because it’s a very good product that takes care of his skin.”

Today, Indulkar is close to SRK's family and travels with him as his on-location make-up artist wherever he goes. “Shah Rukh's daughter Suhana loves make-up. Whenever she comes, she uses all my cosmetics and tries to apply it on her face. She likes her dad only in trousers and a shirt. She doesn't like him wearing kurtas or any other form of clothing. But Aryan loves SRK’s new six-pack and is already dreaming of having his own,” says Indulkar.

SRK’s popularity seems to be scaling new heights not just in Bollywood but in every arena where he makes his presence. SRK has always taken calculated risks and he is raring for more. Energy is his middle name and he is simply unstoppable. Unlike other stars who say that they are not bothered about number, SRK has stated that it feels good to be on top. Shahrukh Khan was on the verge of failure during the year 1999 and 2000. This period was his biggest dip in his career. Badshaah was the only hit of 1999 and later SRK faced a flop in the form of Heyy Ram. In the year 2000, the most expected movie Phir Bhi Dil Hain Hindustani took a severe beating at the box office. The movie was produced by SRK’s own production house, Dreamz Unlimited with Juhi Chawla. The company suffered financial losses and to add salt to the wounds, Hrithik Roshan emerged as the best thing to happen to Bollywood. Shahrukh Khan is coming up with the mother of all quiz shows- Kya Aap Panchvi Pass se Tez Hain? The prize money of the show is a whopping 5 crores. It is based on the lines of the famous American TV quiz show Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader.

Kya Aap Panchvi Pass se Tez Hain? will have adult contestants who will be asked questions onsubjects learnt by the children from standard I to standard V. There will be 5 rounds in total and both kids and adults will have participation on the show. Expect the likes of Darsheel Safary and Swini Kara to attend the show as guests or participants in future. Wow...this looks like an exciting title to fire up a blog. But that is what I kind of noticed when I read the Shahrukh Khan interview on Bombay Times, as the uncrowned king of romance was interviewed

Here is the section from Times of India, published on February 14^th 2008:

He is the eternal Rahul of Indian cinema, the lover who always gets the heroine in the end. But call him that and Shah Rukh Khan just throws up his hands and says resignedly, “People call me a lot of names; I don’t mind being called any!

Then on a serious note, the King of Romance adds, “I have reached the giving stage of my Bollywood love affair. I want to give more and more love to my audience through my work. If you want to call it love... please go ahead!”

But SRK is not the kind to straitjacket love in the confines of Valentine’s Day. “I have never really understood this day. According to me, love has so many facets. For instance, if you asked Don Juan, he would have said that loving 1700 women was the nicest thing in his life.

And I think I would respect that also. The beauty of love is that it has no boundaries. For me, love means my children. I am in love with the undiplomatic and innocent stage of life that they are in,” he says. How to get a six pack body-Tips from Shahrukh Khan

How to get a six pack body like SRK’s is what every health freak’s immediate thought. To get the washboard stomach, Shahrukh Khan has been working out after Don’s release. He still does his workout religiously. Shahrukh Khan exercises at 11pm and his workouts last an hour every day.

Shahrukh Khan never stops to learn and never stops to reinvent himself. The trend setter was helped by his trainer Prashant Sawant who put him on the right diet for over six months. He was put on a low carb diet along with exercises for his shoulders, chest and back.

How SRK got his six pack:

Morning: Protein Shake

Lunch: Grilled Chicken and Salad leaves

Evening: Another protein shake

Dinner: Same as lunch

Shahrukh Khan lived on the above diet for 5 days. On weekends, he’d eat roti,dal, sabzi and rice without ghee.

His workout was concentrated on his chest, abdomen and shoulders. He also did circuit training-esssentially endurance training like push-ups and sit-ups.

Protein shakes were in and tea/coffee were banned. Sweets were shown the door.

SRK has made it a habit of getting awards almost every year. This time too, he is dangerously poised for getting an award for either Om Shanti Om, the biggest commercial hit of 2007 or the biggest critically acclaimed movie Chak De. Methinks, the Filmfare will play safe and hand over the Best Actor Award in the Critics Role for Shahrukh Khan in Chak De. Mark my words, I am saying this long before the carpet gets rolling.

Shahrukh Khan has excelled in his role as a coach in Chak De. May be it is due to the passion for the game itself or may be to get off the 'hamming frog' that was struck at his back..he certainly got his act together and had even the cynics vowing. Quite honestly, SRK has been vocal about not getting a National Award that has been evasive for a long time. Well what he missed for Swades is going to be soon in his hands for Chak De. After all, Coach Coach Hota Hain!
