Sean is done with the African American Slave movie genre. I guess Hollywood thought it’s been too long since we’ve had a movie portray the unethical, sadistic and unrecognized treatment of black people. Since reparations have been swept under the rug let's at least give our black men and women more leading roles in Hollywood…

Yesterday marked the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King .Jr's "I Have A Dream" speech spoken on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial during the infamous March On Washington.

So the Revolutionaries wanted to take time out of their hiatus to celebrate the inspirational words of Dr. King and the power they still hold today.

We’ve been in radio silence mode for a while but we’re building up good things to be in the works, fellow revolutionaries. In the dawn of the new year, just grateful for yourselves, the company you keep, your successes… …and the last box of Twinkies you may or may not have bought off of eBay.

So let's not do the cliche of saying "2013 will be our year," alright? We're not rappers. Sheesh.

No new comic this week due to technical difficulties (yes, THOSE again), but stay tuned next week for the new comic...

...AND also something new we're starting. In the years that we've done this, it's rare that people actually witness the interactions and creative process that goes on with the team. There has been glimpses, Twitpics, interviews, and whatnot but never an actual sense of how we mesh well as a duo. So hopefully next week is when we want to start our podcast Revolutionary Wordplay. It will be a sporadic podcast that we will try to put out from time to time that will act as "director's commentary" of sorts for the strip. It's just something new we're trying to spice up things around here at the Revolutionary headquarters. So stay with us and we'll be seeing you you all next week!
