Weapon of Mass Consumption

The United States has a thirst for consumption that no other country on Earth can compare to. This way of life is unsustainable from the standpoint of both resources and financial stability. The consequences of our actions are beginning to show themselves. Our government is drowning in a debt of trillions of dollars, our financial system is on the brink of collapse, and our citizens struggle beneath the burden credit card debt, loans and medical bills. It is the beginning of the end of an era of irresponsibility and mindless consumption. We have no one to blame but ourselves.

Uninformed

Aren't you tired of bumping into people who insist on debating politics, but then have little to no knowledge on the subject? I am. In fact, it drives me a little bit crazy. Especially the ones who get all worked up about their "views," while having no factual evidence to back there claims and continue to spew nonsense if not outright lies. I am convinced that if all these uninformed people neglected to go to the ballots, our political arena would fare much better. So uninformed people, here is my message to you: DON'T VOTE. Or alternatively, you could inform yourselves, but that seems unlikely as you have already been unwilling to do so. Thanks for listening.

2 Party Politics

The two parties that supposedly give us the freedom to choose our President are not focused on the people, but themselves. Their party politics continually get in the way of meaningful legislation and what's best for this country. They work together on one issue however - keeping the American people distracted. By bringing to the political arena issues such as abortion and gay marriage, they effectively remove the focus from the most important issues. We are confronted every election with two party choices. Sure, there are independent nominees, but they do not receive the same media coverage or funds that the Republicans and Democrats do. In essence, they have no chance against the two giants of politics. The two party system is dividing this nation and destroying the American dream!

Republicrats

If you think we've got a great system with a government divided between Republicans and Democrats, it's time to wake up.
Asses and Elephants

Whenever we go buy something, we are confronted with many choices, sometimes hundreds or thousands. Whether shopping for clothing, bread, notebooks, or anything else, the rule holds true. Our society shuns monopolies and prides itself on diversity and choice. Yet oddly enough our political system has nothing in common with the rest of our lives. We are confronted every election with two party choices. Sure, there are independent nominees, but they do not receive the same media coverage or funds that the Republicans and Democrats do. In essence, they have no chance against the two giants of politics. Demand an end to the monopoly in politics! Exercise your choice!
