WWE has announced details on the WrestleMania 26 travel packages for next year's festivities in Arizona. All packages can be purchased on WWEshop.com. Here are the details:

Each person in this group (maximum four people per group) will receive a ticket to WrestleMania 26 (seating within first 10 ringside rows with collectible chair), a ticket to WrestleMania Axxess (Saturday morning session), a ticket to WWE Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony (Saturday evening event), plus a WrestleMania Travel Package gift. The following is the first ever rumour regarding the location of WrestleMania 27. Keep in mind these locations are only rumours but previous estimates have been correct.

The Tampa Tribune reports today that Tampa, Florida has been invited to bid on holding a future WrestleMania event sometime between 2011 and 2014. The Tampa Bay and Co. is preparing bids for both WrestleMania and the soccer World Cup.

WrestleMania was held in Orlando, FL last year and officials from that city are pushing for a return in the future. WrestleMania 26 will be held in Glendale, Arizona next year and while this hasn't been confirmed, Las Vegas, NV and Indianapolis, IN are being considered for WrestleMania 27.

Confirmed: WrestleMania 26 is coming to Arizona

The press conference WWE held yesterday to announce WrestleMania 26 in Phoenix, AZ is getting a lot of local media coverage in the area. Vince McMahon, John Cena, Chris Jericho, Kofi Kingston, Kelly Kelly and Melina all appeared at the conference with officials from the city of Glendale, AZ, the Arizona Cardinals and Elaine Scruggs, the Glendale Mayor, who noted that WrestleMania would be a much needed $30-50 million put into the local economy. Vince McMahon put over the state of Arizona, saying it was a very special place and that it should be "quite the honeymoon and quite the marriage. Arizona and WrestleMania."

Here's the official press release confirming all the dreams of those living in Arizona:

Stamford, CT, February 24, 2009 -- The City of Glendale, Ariz., Global Spectrum and World Wrestling Entertainment ® announced that the University of Phoenix Stadium will host WrestleMania XXVI on Sunday, March 28, 2010.

Glendale Mayor Elaine Scruggs, Arizona Cardinals’ Coach Ken Whisenhunt and University of Phoenix Stadium General Manager Peter Sullivan joined WWE® Chairman Vince McMahon and several WWE Superstars and Divas in making the announcement today at a press conference at the University of Phoenix Stadium.

WWE’s annual pop-culture extravaganza is a coveted event for any major city. The pay-per-view event will be televised to more than 100 countries. WrestleMania XXIV pumped $50 million into the local Orlando economy in 2008 and set the Citrus Bowl attendance record with 74,635 fans from all 50 states, five Canadian provinces and 21 countries.

This year’s 25th Anniversary of WrestleMania will take place in Houston’s Reliant Stadium on April 5th where it is expected to set the stadium attendance record.

BREAKING: WM26 location revealed

Before I post this leaked story I must stress it is a rumour, albeit an extremely strong one. While I encourage readers not to take this as 100% certain, it looks extremely likely to be confirmed within the next few days.

- A press conference will be held tomorrow afternoon by WWE at 12:30 PM Pacific time to officially announce that, as speculated before, WWE's WrestleMania 26 pay-per-view will be held at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona, which can hold upwards of 70,000 people. WWE officials, representatives of The Arizona Cardinals, The Global Spectrum and the Glendale, AZ Mayor Elaine Scruggs will be on hand at the press conference.

Possible Mania 25 matches

Finally, there's discussions of the main even matches at this years WrestleMania. With Randy Orton winning the Royal Rumble last month, there's talk that he might not even be in a world title match. Instead, there's a 50/50 shot of Orton Vs Stone Cold Steve Austin, who was announced as the headliner Hall of Fame inductee for the night before the 25th anniversary of WrestleMania.

Here's the full set of rumoured matches for WM25, thanks to the Wrestling Observer newsletter, as always stay tuned here for the latest WM25 rumours and Hall of Fame announcements.

Following what transpired at the Royal Rumble, WWE officials have started planning matches for WrestleMania 25.
There have been discussions of a Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy, Shawn Michaels vs. JBL or Undertaker, Edge vs. Triple H for the WWE Title, Jack Swagger vs. Tommy Dreamer for the ECW Title and a "Money in the Bank" match. John Cena could face Chris Jericho with the Mickey Rourke plans recently falling off, or be involved in a triple threat match with JBL and Shawn Michaels.

Steve Austin is still scheduled to have a farewell match at WrestleMania. The name that keeps popping up in meetings for his opponent is Randy Orton since he is already scheduled to be in the main event. There are no plans for a Hogan vs. Austin match. WWE has pitched the idea in the past for an Austin vs. Rock match as a 25th anniversary special match. Jim Ross recently said that The Rock has no interest in wrestling again, so it appears the company has reached out to him but failed

That's the date you want to put in your diary if your looking for tickets to Houston for next years show. The tickets were originally scheduled to go on sale next weekend, but after fears of hurricane Ike, WWE have decided to postpone the date to October 11. Here's the official press release:

As seen on WWE.com, Unforgiven and Raw this week, tickets for WrestleMania XXV were originally scheduled to go on sale Sept. 20. However, out of concern for the residents of the Gulf Coast of Texas as it pertains to Hurricane Ike, and the recent disaster area declaration made by Texas Governor Rick Perry, WWE has chosen to postpone ticket sales for WrestleMania XXV until Oct. 11, at 10 a.m. CT.

WM25 Main Event rumours

The PW Torch Newsletter is reporting that the current WWE title main even planned for WrestleMania XXV in Texas is set to be either Triple H vs Edge or Triple H vs The Undertaker.

With 'Takers real hometown in Houston, Texas, the latter would provide an excellent bout as The Game would no doubt look to end the deadman's undefeated streak at WrestleMania. Apparently Undertaker doesn't mind losing at WrestleMania so long as the loss is "good for business", so perhaps the outcome wouldn't be as obvious as first thought.

Every month, I'll pick a rising, up and coming superstar from Raw, Smackdown or ECW to keep an eye on and watch him (or her) rise the ranks in WWE. Previous entries to this column could have included CM Punk, Kofi Kingston and The Rock (If we were around 14 years ago).

Heard of Evan Bourne? He's impressing over in the land of extreme, and I'm making a promise to myself to watch ECW every week from now on to watch this kid rise further and further. If you don't know what I'm talking about, watch this video of him in action against Matt Striker (who does an awesome move around 2 minutes in from the ropes).

For those who have, CM Punk cashed in his money in the bank (that he won at WM XIV) on Raw to win his first World Heavyweight Championship.

WWE had to have Punk cash in the briefcase soon as Raw was, at the time, without a world champion after the results of Night of Champions. However it was still a shocker to see Punk come down the ramp with a referee during the first 10 minutes of Raw.
