The Herd Immunity Fallacy Dr. Jennifer Smith argues that herd immunity is often oversimplified in vaccination debates, tracing the term to livestock science in 1894 when Daniel Elmer Salmon used it for well-fed hog populations, then to Bureau of Animal Industry work on brucellosis in cattle in 1916, mouse epidemic experiments by Topley and Wilson in 1923, and later application to human diphtheria, scarlet fever, and influenza, before mass vaccination campaigns in the 1950s and 1960s recast it as a policy goal rather than a description of naturally accumulating immunity. She defines herd or community immunity as enough people being immune through recovery or vaccination that a germ no longer spreads easily, notes that early researchers never settled on a clear definition, and says it can work only in a closed system, which does not exist because newborns lose maternal immunity and travelers can reintroduce disease. A 1933 observation that measles outbreaks could be prevented if about 68 percent of children had already been infected is contrasted with current estimates that roughly 94 percent population immunity is needed for measles, combining recovery and two vaccine doses. She lists reasons herd immunity may be unattainable for some diseases: frequent mutation and escape variants, short-lived immunity from infection or shots, asymptomatic spread, and environmental reservoirs such as tetanus, with influenza, RSV, and SARS-CoV-2 cited as poor candidates. During COVID-19, officials including Dr. Anthony Fauci discussed 60 to 80 percent or 75 to 80 percent immunity as an endpoint for normality, but Plotkin’s Vaccines textbook states that a vaccine protecting only against disease and not infection cannot reduce community transmission or confer herd immunity. CDC recorded 10,262 U.S. vaccine breakthrough infections from 46 states by April 30, 2021, then limited monitoring to hospitalizations and deaths, while New Zealand reached about 90 percent first-dose and 80 percent second-dose coverage with fewer than 1 percent previously infected before reopening, after which Omicron drove a sharp rise in cases. Moderna and Pfizer trial endpoints focused on symptomatic COVID-19 rather than infection or transmission, and a Pfizer executive later said transmissibility was not tested before rollout, so Smith concludes classical herd immunity was unlikely given viral mutation, waning immunity, births, and travel, and should be treated as a shifting balance rather than a fixed threshold or mandate justification.

Vinay Prasad: Public Health in This Country Is So Broken In an August 26, 2026 Reason interview with Zach Weissmueller, former FDA Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research director Vinay Prasad said U.S. public health remains broken and politically captured, that he would not yet trust it again, and that working inside an 18,000-person FDA after DOGE cuts taught him more in one year than the prior decade and made him more libertarian, including openness to competing Consumer Reports-style approval bodies so Americans can choose different safety and efficacy bars. He said Anthony Fauci’s diaries and Slack messages around the Proximal Origin paper showed a gap between private doubt and public certainty on COVID origins, that Fauci funded EcoHealth work tied to Wuhan, pushed school closures including advice to Bill de Blasio, opposed Florida’s 2020 reopening, and promoted one-size-fits-all shots and boosters for young people who had already had COVID, adding he cannot think of a single pandemic policy Fauci got right. Prasad defended rejecting Moderna’s mRNA flu vaccine, later approved after he left, and a memo stating at least 10 children died after and because of COVID vaccination, saying staff first reported 10 possible, probable, or likely deaths that were later cut to seven for political or professional reasons after publicity, with a second unpublished memo adding three more in another age group, while the official post-departure report listed zero certain, five possible, and two probable deaths. He said myocarditis is a known mRNA side effect at rates as high as one in 3,000 in an Israeli report, that zero vaccine-related child deaths would be the implausible finding, that VAERS is passive and incomplete, and that mandating shots for healthy children and college students was a bad policy public health should admit. He distinguished raising the bar for healthy-population vaccines from more flexible rare-disease and gene-therapy pathways, supported some over-the-counter switches such as simvastatin, and said peptides are mixed, with some access fights driven more by patents than safety.

BREAKING: BioNTech mRNA Cancer “Vaccine” Trial TERMINATED Over Alarming Mortality Signal Nicolas Hulscher reports that BioNTech terminated Phase 2 trial BNT122-01 (NCT04486378) of its personalized mRNA cancer immunotherapy autogene cevumeran (BNT122/RO7198457) after an independent Data Safety Monitoring Board found a numerical imbalance in overall survival between treatment arms and recommended stopping treatment and ending the study, a recommendation BioNTech accepted. The trial enrolled about 327 patients with surgically resected high-risk Stage II or Stage III colorectal cancer who remained circulating-tumor-DNA positive and randomized them to the mRNA product or watchful waiting. Patients in the mRNA arm were scheduled for up to 15 intravenous infusions over about one year, six weekly doses in the first six weeks, two more at two-week intervals the following month, then seven doses every six weeks for the rest of the year. Overall survival measures how long patients remain alive after entering a trial, so an imbalance is a mortality signal, but BioNTech has not disclosed deaths per arm, mortality rates, hazard ratio, causes of death, or which group fared worse. Hulscher writes that the trial had already crossed a prespecified futility boundary in October 2025, meaning accumulating results were unlikely to show the intended efficacy, yet the company continued the study until the monitoring board said continuing was also unlikely to change the efficacy outcome. He frames the termination as another failure of the mRNA platform in cancer patients and calls for ending what he describes as unchecked expansion of mRNA technology.

Health Freedom Index: 2026 Edition The Center for Modern Health and West Virginia University’s Knee Regulatory Research Center published the August 2026 Health Freedom Index as a joint ranking of legal, regulatory, and policy environments in the 50 states and the District of Columbia, scoring the degree of choice available to patients, clinicians, insurers, and entrepreneurs rather than health outcomes, quality, or costs. Authors Jared Rhoads, Reinier Schuur, Colleen Smith, Alicia Plemmons, and Drake A. Thibodaux scored 54 unweighted policy variables on a 1-to-5 scale, with 5 meaning a less restrictive environment, then averaged them into five domains, Professional Freedom (13 variables such as license portability, postgraduate training, continuing education hours, and scope of practice for nurse practitioners, midwives, pharmacists, dental hygienists, and CRNAs), Institutional Freedom (11 variables including certificate-of-need limits, freestanding birth centers and emergency departments, compounding-pharmacy rules, provider taxes, practice ownership, and hospital rate-setting), Patient Freedom (10 variables including off-label speech, Right-to-Try, medical aid in dying, reproductive technology, and related access rules), Payment Freedom (11 variables including insurance benefit mandates, individual mandates, short-term plans, out-of-state insurers, HSA taxes, PBM rules, and Medicaid direct-pay options), and Delivery Freedom (9 variables including telepharmacy, online prescribing and eye exams, opioid-supply rules, Good Samaritan protections, and whether direct primary care is treated as insurance). Category scores average 5.0 at the top of each domain and the overall index averages those five categories, with reported overall scores ranging from 19.0 to 13.2. Arizona and Colorado tied for first at 19.0, followed by Idaho 18.8, North Dakota 17.9, Utah 17.8, New Hampshire and Montana 17.7, Maine 17.6, Oklahoma 17.5, and Oregon and Iowa 17.4, while New Jersey scored 13.2. Compared with the 2020 Healthcare Openness and Accessibility Project that this index expands, New Hampshire and Florida each rose about 26 places and Oklahoma about 13, with the authors warning that year-to-year shifts are approximate because variables changed. The report says small rank gaps are not meaningful and presents the index as a conversation starter on competition, voluntary exchange, and targeted reform.

This Sunday Conversation comes to you from Las Vegas and the 45th annual American Naturopathic Medical Association convention, where I reconnect with my good friend Neil Schultz, a board-certified naturopath, homeopath, and practitioner of homeoprophylaxis. Whenever Neil and I get together, you know homeopathy is going to be part of the conversation, but this time we go much further into the questions confronting parents who want to make informed decisions about their children’s health.

Neil is presenting at the convention on a subject that couldn’t be more timely: options for parents who don’t want to vaccinate. One of the challenges we discuss is that many parents have reached the point where they know what they don’t want to do, but they’re left asking what they can do. Neil approaches that question from a much broader perspective, looking at nutrition, lifestyle, emotional well-being, homeopathy, and particularly homeoprophylaxis.

We dig into the distinction between vaccination and genuine immunity and discuss why measuring antibody titers doesn’t necessarily tell the entire story of immune function. Neil explains his understanding of homeoprophylaxis and the work of Australian homeopath Dr. Isaac Golden, who trained and certified him in this approach. Whatever your position on vaccines, viruses, or infectious disease theory may be, this conversation raises a larger question: why shouldn’t families be allowed to investigate and choose among different approaches to supporting health?

And that brings us directly to freedom. Bodily autonomy, informed consent, and religious liberty aren’t side issues in health care; they’re foundational. You and I don’t have to agree about every medical intervention in order to agree that human beings should not become property of the medical establishment or the state. I have no problem with disagreement. I have a very big problem when disagreement becomes an excuse to take away somebody else’s right to choose.

Neil and I also look back at some of the contradictions that have helped people question conventional assumptions, including outbreaks occurring within highly vaccinated populations. We discuss the controversies surrounding the MMR vaccine and why the COVID years caused so many people—including practitioners within natural medicine—to reevaluate what they had previously accepted about public health authorities, pharmaceutical companies, and the medical establishment.

Yet this conversation isn’t simply about what we’re against. One of the encouraging things we’re seeing at this year’s ANMA convention is growth. Attendance is up, new technologies are being demonstrated, practitioners are exchanging ideas, and traditional naturopathy and homeopathy continue attracting people looking for non-drug approaches to health. There is something powerful about gathering with people who are willing to question, learn, experiment, and share what they’ve discovered.

We have some fun exploring that resurgence in homeopathy as well. Neil shows me a newly created deck of 54 homeopathic reference cards designed as a practical guide to commonly used remedies, and we discuss educational efforts aimed at introducing homeopathy to families and even children. Neil also tells me about the two-day pre-convention class he teaches, where students don’t simply learn about remedies—they actually prepare their own homeopathic kits. His latest class processes more than 2,500 bottles in a single six-hour day!

Technology is also becoming part of this changing landscape. Neil and I talk about frequency-based assessment tools and other emerging approaches being demonstrated at the convention. Conventional medicine may have difficulty reconciling some of these ideas with its existing paradigm, but the concept that biological systems involve electrical and energetic activity isn’t going away. The exciting question is how these discoveries can eventually give individuals greater ability to understand and support their own health.

Ultimately, Neil and I keep coming back to something deeper than any particular remedy, technology, or health philosophy. Freedom matters, but so does the responsibility that accompanies it. We have to educate ourselves, listen to that God-given intuition, seek truth even when it is unpopular, and remain willing to stand for the freedom of people with whom we may disagree.

And through all of it, there’s another medicine Neil and I can certainly agree on: Vitamin L—love. After decades of friendship, homeopathy, naturopathy, convention adventures, and plenty of laughter, it’s always a blessing to spend some time with my brother Neil Schultz. And we’re just getting started, because there’s one more conversation coming from Las Vegas before we wrap up this special Sunday edition.

We wrap up this Sunday Conversation from the American Naturopathic Medical Association’s 45th annual convention in Las Vegas with another family reunion, this time with my dear friend Anne Archer Butcher. If you’ve been with us for any length of time, you’ve heard Anne and me talk about the Monicor and the extraordinary journey she and her husband, Alden, have been on. But every time we get together, there seems to be something new to explore, and this year’s ANMA gathering gives us a perfect opportunity to see how much the conversation around energy medicine has changed.

Just a few years ago, even mentioning energy medicine could get you dismissed as a quack. Anne and I are seeing something very different now. Practitioners at the convention are actively looking for technologies they can incorporate into their practices, and people are lining up to experience the Monicor for themselves. Even with only five or ten minutes available for demonstrations, Anne says people are returning hours later or the following day to report what they’ve experienced and ask how they can get one for themselves.

We talk about one of the things that makes the Monicor especially intriguing to practitioners and families: simplicity. As the technology has evolved, the interface has become easier to use, including automated sequences designed to make it accessible even to people without extensive technical training. Anne explains that Dr. Luba has continued improving the system while allowing existing devices to receive upgrades, rather than forcing owners into a constant cycle of buying new equipment.

But technology is only part of this conversation. Anne and I spend a lot of time talking about stress, emotions, and the energetic patterns we carry. At the convention, they’re running a short “happiness” program for attendees, and Anne shares how practitioners have incorporated similar programs into their work. That naturally brings us back to my recent conversation with our mutual friend Dr. Bruce Lipton and his message about belief, subconscious programming, and the enormous influence our perceptions can have on our lives.

And then there is Alden’s story, which is impossible to separate from Anne’s involvement with the Monicor. Seven years ago, doctors were dealing with his stage four metastatic melanoma and privately told Anne that he might have only two weeks to live. Anne immediately refused to allow that prognosis to be spoken in front of him. She understood what Bruce Lipton has taught for years: words and beliefs matter, especially when they come from someone we have been conditioned to regard as an authority.

Anne and Alden subsequently incorporated the Monicor into their approach. Anne recounts that after roughly ten weeks of using it twice a week, his doctors found no remaining cancer. That experience changes the direction of their lives. Rather than keeping what happened to themselves, Anne decides she has to tell people about it, and her background in publicity gives her a pretty good idea how to do that. What begins as one family’s search for answers becomes a mission to introduce more people to energy medicine.

What I especially appreciate is the idea of bringing these tools beyond exclusive clinics and into communities. Anne tells the story of a woman who owns a Monicor specifically so she can send it to people who need help. We talk about churches, practitioners, community healing centers, veterans, and others who might benefit from greater access to technologies like this. For me, that is where health freedom becomes something more than a slogan. It’s about decentralizing healing and putting useful tools directly into people’s hands.

We also discuss the emergence of energy-focused wellness centers and the growing interest among physicians, naturopaths, athletes, and other practitioners. Anne points to the work being done through Evolte Life in Texas and the efforts to make these technologies available in underserved communities. There is still plenty to learn, and Anne is careful to acknowledge that every person’s body and experience are different, but the willingness to investigate these approaches is expanding dramatically.

What strikes me most as we finish our time together is how much the landscape has changed. Ideas that once existed far outside conventional conversations about health are increasingly being explored by practitioners and ordinary people alike. The question is no longer simply whether energy plays a role in biology. More people are asking how we can understand it, measure it, and responsibly use technologies built around it.

It’s always a blessing when Anne and I get together, and this conversation is a fitting way to close our weekend in Las Vegas. From homeopathy and health freedom with Neil Schultz to energy medicine and the power of belief with Anne Archer Butcher, this Sunday Conversation is ultimately about expanding our understanding of what’s possible and giving people more tools to participate in their own healing journey.

Former Top FDA Vaccine Officials Says Children Died From COVID-19 Vaccine Dr. Vinay Prasad, former director of the FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research, said in a Reason interview that children died from COVID-19 vaccination, stating that kids died of vaccine-related myocarditis and that probable or possible attribution is the standard used across drug development because a standard of certainty is unattainable for that condition. A late-2025 memorandum from Prasad said FDA staff he directed to review VAERS death reports determined at least 10 child deaths were related to the shots, a figure later revised to seven in a report released by Sen. Ron Johnson, which Prasad said was changed for political or professional reasons. He also said a second unpublished report covering another age group judged three additional deaths related to COVID-19 vaccination. In a separate interview, Prasad said he believes in vaccines, opposed COVID-19 vaccine mandates because data showed the shots did not halt transmission, and said the vaccines reduced severe disease and death while variants became less lethal and prior infection provided protection.

Amish threaten mass exodus from New York over vaccine fight —which is heading to the Supreme Court New York’s estimated 25,000 Amish are threatening to leave the state, possibly for Pennsylvania, if they lose Miller v. McDonald at the U.S. Supreme Court after the 2nd Circuit again rejected their challenge to the 2019 Cuomo-era repeal of religious exemptions from school vaccine requirements. The New York State Department of Health has fined at least three private one-room Amish schools a combined $118,000 at $2,000 per noncompliance citation, with attorneys saying every Amish school in the state faces the same situation and that the community could not pay without land confiscation. Plaintiffs including Ezra Wengerd wrote that putting trust in vaccines conflicts with their faith, while attorney Hiram Sasser asked whether the state still makes room for the Amish and attorney Aaron Siri said the community does not want to litigate but was left no choice. The Supreme Court earlier this year sent the case back to the 2nd Circuit, which reissued its original ruling, and lawyers plan to petition the high court again next month. An NY DOH spokeswoman said the department’s duty is to protect public health and enforce immunization requirements based in science, while an HHS spokesperson said President Trump’s recent executive order reaffirmed parental choice and religious freedom on childhood vaccination.

‘We Move With Urgency Now’: Federal Autism Committee Votes to Focus on Action, Accountability The Interagency Autism Coordinating Committee voted August 27, 2026, to adopt a working strategic plan that Chair Sylvia Fogel said is meant to track what federal agencies do and whether those efforts produce measurable results, telling members “We move with urgency now.” The plan seeks to coordinate research, diagnosis, treatment, education, disability services and caregiver support by linking evidence to agency responsibility and measurable deliverables, after a 2024 GAO review found federal autism coordination only partially followed leading accountability practices. Fogel said the committee received 5,265 public comments over four months, more than in the prior 10 years combined, and rejected claims from the Autistic Self Advocacy Network and 15 other groups that the process shut out the community. Vaccines were a major public-comment theme, with about 1,500 comments asking they be considered, while the draft does not list vaccines as a research priority; member Laura Cellini said the plan is “agnostic on triggers,” and CHD’s Brian Hooker called the document significant but said omitting vaccines left a gap. The plan notes NIH autism research was 38.5% genetics and genomics versus 5.8% environmental factors and cites CDC prevalence of about 1 in 31 children in 2022 versus 1 in 150 in 2000, with Walter Zahorodny arguing the rise is a true increase rather than only better diagnosis.

Early trials for vaccine for common cold are ‘encouraging’, scientists say An early trial of vaccine candidate APL-10456 by Imperial College London and Apollo Therapeutics induced immune responses against all three major rhinovirus species in 144 healthy volunteers aged 18 to 54 and was described as well tolerated, a result researchers called a significant milestone because about 180 rhinovirus strains circulate worldwide across species A, B and C. Rhinoviruses cause most common colds and are a major trigger of asthma and COPD exacerbations. The first phase tested three single-dose levels, a second phase is underway with results expected by the end of the year, and a study in COPD patients is expected to start in the first half of 2027. Professor Sebastian Johnston said developing a rhinovirus vaccine had long been considered out of reach and that further research is still needed to determine whether the shot can prevent infection or reduce illness in people with asthma, COPD and other respiratory conditions.

7 Federal Agencies & Big Pharma Quietly Built A Pandemic-Industrial Complex Jon Fleetwood writes that HHS created the Public Health Emergency Medical Countermeasures Enterprise in July 2006, nearly 14 years before COVID-19, centralizing ASPR, CDC, FDA, NIH, DOD, DHS and VA around an end-to-end pipeline from threat detection through research, development, procurement, stockpiling, deployment and use of medical countermeasures. A September 2006 draft strategy and April 2007 implementation plan said PHEMCE would define and prioritize countermeasure requirements, coordinate development and procurement, set Strategic National Stockpile use strategies, and require government, industry and academia to “align and synchronize,” while naming pharmaceutical manufacturers, biotechnology firms and clinical research organizations as needed partners and proposing streamlined regulation, lower investment obstacles and liability protections. The plans said government procurement could “drive industrial development,” NIH should maintain a continuous product stream aligned with future acquisitions, and benefits included storage, utilization and deployment, not only curing disease. Fleetwood argues this creates a conflict if the same ecosystem helps define a threat, fund related research, set product requirements, regulate, buy and deploy the products, noting HHS warned in 2006 that laboratory-engineered organisms might be mistaken for naturally occurring agents and that a laboratory origin for COVID-19 is now a mainstream hypothesis.

Ultra-Processed Foods Linked to 30% Higher Prostate Cancer Risk A Florida Atlantic University analysis published in The American Journal of Medicine of 17,024 U.S. men age 18 and older in NHANES from 2003 to 2023 found that higher ultra-processed food calorie intake was associated with greater subsequent prostate cancer risk. Using two 24-hour dietary recalls and NOVA classification, men getting more than about 20 percent of calories from UPFs had a 29 percent higher risk than those below that level, and men in the two highest groups, above about 44 percent, had a 30 percent higher risk, with adjusted increases of 24 to 31 percent after accounting for age, race and ethnicity, smoking, and poverty. UPFs supply nearly 60 percent of U.S. adult calories and about 70 percent of children’s, and the authors note prior links to obesity, metabolic disease, cardiovascular disease, and premature death while calling for larger observational studies and randomized trials. The American Cancer Society estimates more than 333,000 U.S. prostate cancer diagnoses and more than 36,000 deaths in 2026.

Popular Sugar Substitute Linked to Higher Risk of Heart Attack and Stroke A study of 17,710 participants from the Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging and the EPIC-Norfolk cohort, scheduled for presentation at the European Society of Cardiology Congress 2026, found that people with blood xylitol levels in the highest quarter had a greater long-term risk of major cardiovascular events than those in the lowest quarter. In CLSA, followed for six years, the highest group had a 57 percent greater risk after adjustment for age, sex, smoking, cholesterol, diabetes and high blood pressure; in EPIC-Norfolk, followed for 30 years, the increase was 18 percent, with a dose-dependent pattern independent of BMI, blood pressure, diabetes and lipids. Presenter Dr. Marco Witkowski of Charité University Hospital said artificial sweeteners are widely viewed as safer than sugar and generally regarded as safe, but little is known about xylitol’s cardiovascular safety as its use in foods, drinks and dental products increases. Nutritionist Kirsty Thomas and ESC’s Professor Dan Atar said the findings are observational, causality is hard to infer, and people should not change diets based on one study alone.

Major fast food chains may still be sourcing beef raised with antibiotics, report asserts A report from the Food Animal Concerns Trust, Keep Antibiotics Working Coalition and US PIRG Education Fund says McDonald’s, Subway and Taco Bell have not shown they met 2016–2019 pledges to cut or end routine antibiotic use in beef, citing websites, public communications and unanswered requests for updates, while the companies did not respond to The New Lede. Taco Bell had pledged a 25 percent reduction in antibiotic use in beef by 2025, Subway pledged to serve only meat raised without routine antibiotics by 2025, and McDonald’s pledged major reductions with public reporting from 2022. McDonald’s 2022 policy says habitual use of medically important antibiotics for disease prevention is not permitted except in narrowly defined cases, Taco Bell says it is working to reduce such antibiotics in U.S. and Canada beef, and Subway details antibiotic-free chicken but not beef. Sperm development takes about two months, so researchers hope improving a father’s health for roughly that period before conception might help, though that has not yet been tested, and the team hopes findings could support preconception clinics for men.

HHS Seeks Public Comment on ‘Presumption’ Favoring ‘Individual Autonomy, Informed Consent, and Religious Freedom’ in Vaccine Recommendations The Department of Health and Human Services is seeking public comment through September 20 on whether federal vaccine recommendations should incorporate a presumption in favor of individual autonomy, informed consent, and religious freedom while reconsidering the existing categories of routine or universal recommendations, risk-based recommendations, and shared clinical decision-making, as part of the Task Force on Safer Childhood Vaccines and President Trump’s August 10 executive order. The Federal Register notice signed by Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. asks whether additional categories such as “recommended, but not during infancy,” “recommended with qualification,” or “shared clinical decision-making with qualification” should be adopted, how limited or absent randomized controlled trial evidence should be handled, whether uncertainty has been resolved silently in favor of universal recommendations, and how category assignment affects legal and programmatic consequences. HHS notes that under a routine recommendation the default is to vaccinate all persons in an age group absent contraindications, contrasts this with shared decision-making that has no default, and cites COVID-era shifts toward broader population-wide recommendations, including overrides of advisory votes, as contributing to public mistrust and lasting costs to the credibility of all federal vaccine recommendations. The notice does not alter existing recommendations or constitute a proposed rule.

Last night’s AMA was great. I learned so much and appreciate everyone’s willingness to share their time and knowledge. It’s amazing to hear of the sacrifices for the truth. I’m finding out about all of these extraordinary people.

For me this whole journey has been incredibly exciting. I’ve learned so much since February when I really dove in. For a few years before that I “dabbled” with Barbara O’Neill and Dr. Berg. It’s really a process, a journey. I’ve spent 60+ years doing all the wrong things and some OK things. I have a lot of health issues that I’m trying to tackle one at a time. I’m hoping that I can come to my later days in a much better state. I don’t think I’ve ever had a doctor who actually wanted to help me heal. I think I’m going to make an appointment with Dr. Lisa.

I expected to get some push back on things I’ve been doing (ex: CT scan). I’m still undecided about that. One thing about homeopathy is how do you know what is going on until you have symptoms without scans and such? Example: they found the kidney stone via the CT scan, I have no symptoms. I’m grateful to know about it in advance so I can do something before the pain. My cancer journey had a lot to do with I “needed to know”. I knew right away that I wasn’t going to do chemo or radiation. The oncologist is still pushing for chemo even with NED. I agreed to a scan and to the “poking around” surgery because I felt like I needed to know for sure. I was a little disappointed with Dr. Judy’s response to Chris Wark. His info has been a huge part of my journey. It’s why I take Beta Glucan and know about the aloe and silver and lots of other things. Seems like there’s more agreement than disagreement. That does bring up a question about the carrot juice. I did the whole CBC 90 day protocol with all raw veggies and 64 ounces of juice, mostly carrots. I still do 64+ ounces of juice a week. Can I really get sclerosis of the liver from that? It helped me lose the 40lbs fast.

Youth type 2 diabetes cases in Colorado have risen nearly 10-fold since 2002 New research from the Colorado Diabetes Registry to be presented at the European Association for the Study of Diabetes meeting shows that incidence of type 2 diabetes among youth ages 10–19 in Colorado rose nearly 10-fold from 2.37 per 100,000 in 2002 to 22.30 per 100,000 in 2023, with an overall annual percentage change of 3.8 percent that accelerated to 4.72 percent per year from 2014 onward, while type 1 diabetes incidence increased only modestly from 25.07 to 27.39 per 100,000. Between 2002 and 2023 the registry recorded 8,094 new type 1 cases under age 20 and 1,560 new type 2 cases in ages 10–19. Researchers note that rising obesity has made clinical distinction between the two types more difficult in adolescents, requiring autoantibody and metabolic testing for accurate diagnosis and treatment, and warn that youth-onset type 2 diabetes is more aggressive than adult-onset disease, with faster beta-cell decline, earlier complications, and reduced effectiveness of lifestyle interventions alone, underscoring the need for family- and community-level prevention focused on nutrition, physical activity, and access to healthy food.

UFO News Effect: Why A Third Of Americans Changed Their Minds About Aliens A Talker Research online survey of 2,000 Americans conducted July 1-6, 2026, found that 60 percent believe governments already know more about UFOs than they have publicly shared, while 37 percent said recent UFO and UAP news coverage made them believe in aliens more than before, 54 percent reported no change, and 10 percent said they believe less. Belief shifts tracked strongly with age, with 54 percent of Gen Z, 45 percent of millennials, 36 percent of Gen X, and 23 percent of baby boomers saying coverage increased their belief, and men more likely than women to report a positive shift at 43 percent versus 33 percent. Respondents were more likely to say they would feel curious than fearful if intelligent alien life were confirmed, at 38 percent versus 17 percent, yet 55 percent felt society is not prepared to handle such proof. Fifty-four percent also said movies and TV shows about aliens have made Americans more likely to believe in intelligent extraterrestrial life.
