I just returned from a trip to Amsterdam. During my stay, I came across a lot of beautiful coffee shops (no, not the kind where they sell weed...). Most of these coffee shops had really beautiful logo designs. That's what inspired me to compile this list of 25 awesome coffee logos. I tried to avoid logos everyone already knows, such as the Starbucks logo.

Holger Pooten is a London based photographer. Thanks to his amazing eye for detail he can create these stunning photos. Because he is so skilled, he had the opportunity to work for well-known companies such as Nike, Adidas, Intel, Panasonic and Virgin. Let's take a look at some of his creations:

Everyday you are confronted with hundreds of advertisements. You'll find them on TV, in magazines, on billboards... But you probably don't remember every ad you've ever seen. That's why it's important for advertising agencies to create unique, creative ads. In this article you'll find some of the best print ads. This beautiful logo was made by Sean Heisler, a designer with over 13 years of experience. He is currently working under his freelance name 'Ethereal Brands'. Sean prefers to keep everything as simple as possible, so he often opts for a minimal approach. Xavier Fence offers security, perimeter and barrier fences.

After a year of hard work, it's time to take some time off and relax. There's no better place to relax than on some exotic beach or in a new and undiscovered city. So why not do it in style and stay in one of these gorgeous hotels? This is just a selection of my favourites, I'm sure there are hundreds of other beautiful hotels out there.

Why don't you spice up your desktop with a beautiful wallpaper? An awesome bokeh wallpaper perhaps? Bokeh is the blur in an out-of-focus area of an image. You'll see this effect in several photographs but designers started experimenting with digital bokeh. In this article you'll find 15 baffling digital bokeh wallpapers.

It's weekend and that means it's time to choose another logo of the week. Recently I came across this beautiful logo on Brandstack. It was made by lizardboi who even tells us the story behind this logo. You can read the story after the jump...

Albert Einstein is probably one of the most influential and best known scientists and intellectuals of all time. During is life he published over 300 scientific and 150 non-scientific works. He was a man who wasn't afraid of a little controversy. During his lifetime he made a lot of remarkable quotes. Designers can learn a lot from his quotes and perhaps draw some inspiration from them.
