I wouldn’t say you “stand corrected.” If her book didn’t say what she meant, oh well! Each person takes something different from the books they read. Should I say that my life means nothing? No, way! I have raised six children (well four, two are coming up in the world) and it was not for nought. The job WE do is hard, thankless and boring at times. But, the end result is the blessing we receive. We are to do the best we can with what God has given us. And, if that is sweeping Cheerios, so be it. You are amaZing and doing such a great job. When I get those phone calls saying they have asked Jesus into their lives, what can be better?

What a great tradition! It’s fun for those of us who don’t see your wonderful kids regularly; I learned a few things about Caleb reading that list. He certainly is passionate about baseball! I loved the picture of him finding out he was going to be on a baseball team. Such a precious heart your boy has!
