These posts before the live broadcast are meant as an intro to the next guest. Jessica Shea doesn’t need an introduction because anyone reading this knows who she is. A beloved member of the Halo community who landed a dream job at 343 Industries. Before that job you only knew her as bs angel so it’s only fitting for her second appearance as a guest on TRR that we call her Jessica.

The amount of Halo fan films in production are increasing but there is one that is upon us now. The first episode of Halo: Helljumper dropped (yeah I said it) on the interwebs back in January with much fanfare. Tonight we will premiere Episode 2 before it goes public on YouTube later in the night. Following the premiere will be an interview with our guest of the evening, Helljumper’s Director Dan Wang. An amazing opportunity to chat with the creator of the series right after the episode is released.

Not going to Halo Fest? Then Riot Fest!

Some of us will not be attending 343i’s big Halo party at PAX Prime. Yeah we wish we were there but we can handle it in two ways. Keep wishing or throw RIOT FEST!

We will go live Saturday night during Halo Fest weekend to simply just hang and chat about what’s been going on at Halo’s big bash. TRR will monitor Halo Fest news and Twitter all weekend for content to broadcast/discuss that night. We will try to get some of you in on the broadcast via Skype to participate in the show but as always we will be in the chat room too.

So if your a big Halo fan like us and cannot go to Halo Fest, Riot Fest is for you! We will start broadcasting right here Saturday, August 27th at 9:00pm ET(6:00 pm PT for you lucky Halo Fest peeps) till whenever.

BTW, the interview with Jared Pelletier, Director of Halo Faith originally scheduled for Wednesday August 17th has been moved. It is set for September 14th 9:30pm ET. Follow on Twitter for updates.

The celebration is NOT just in Seattle.

A little show from Club Errera

Sorry everyone. Didn’t go as planned. Kinda knew that going in that it may be hit or miss. That is the curse of a live show. The main reason I wanted to do a show from the LAN was for the HBO community. A chance for those who could not be there to be involved somehow. Unfortunately my equipment wasn’t working up to standards and was a little too far from the action to capture the magic of the party. We did manage to capture about a half hour though. You can watch here.

The move was super easy and setting it up was a snap. And to top it off, we found a theme that works PERFECTLY with a live show.

Mig up first for TRR 3.0

Five months ago we interviewed Burnie Burns in Halo 3. We were using Livestream and a custom website. All that has changed.

Welcome to TRR 3.0!

We have a new site on Tumblr. A great blogging service that is easy to publish to and follow. Our streaming service is now Ustream. When you see the show tonight you will see why its better. Of course the biggest change is we are now conducting interviews in Halo: Reach. With all the great tools Bungie gave us in Forge the possibilities are endless. Tonight we interview our friend Miguel Chavez from halo.bungie.org. He’s been around since the beginning so its fitting we have him on to discuss how Reach brings Halo full circle.

At 9:30pm ET, we will go live with a new Green Room. At 10, Episode 31 starts with a new intro! Don’t worry, same song.
