Hoyne) to distribute rain barrels to those who order them in advance. Rain barrels only cost $45 – a small price for a 40% water bill savings throughout the year.

I wish we could use the extra rain water to fill up the baby pool in the summer, but you can use the rain water to water the garden, wash your bikes or your kids’ dirty pool toys (if not the pool itself.)

If you have questions, or would like to order a rain barrel, please contact Adrienne from the CCC at: roscoerainbarrels(at) gmail (dot) com by July 11.  She’ll be there on July 12 at Audubon passing out the rain barrels and also passing out literature about the city’s “green” initiatives as well.

It’s a Village within a city… All the shop owners know each other and there’s this pride of being business owners. We don’t like to see each other fail.
