Thursday June 12th, 2008 - I just called my local Chick fil A (in Oceanside at Marron Rd.) and confirmed they are having a military appreciation night tonight from 5-8 for active, retired and reservists and their families.

Discounted San Diego Fair Tickets

There is still time to get your San Diego Fair opening day tickets for $1.00 at Ralphs. Fair starts on June 17th.

If you aren’t attending on the first day, Ralphs is also offering a $2 discount for any day of the fair. You must buy $10 worth of food to get your discounted tickets for $10.

Children 12 and younger are admitted free every Tuesday. Additionally, the kids can read 10 books and get free admission any day of the Fair. Info here.

Military can also get a discount on base.

San Diego Pride Parade - July 19th

The 34th annual San Diego Pride Parade will take place on July 19th. This is a fun and free event that you won’t want to miss.

Beginning at 11 am, the parade travels on University Ave in Hillcrest between Normal St. and 6th down to Upass.
