Eager to get away from the "busyness" of NYC, we decided to visit Storm King Art Center. It proved to be the perfect escape! As admirers of art and nature, we were very pleased to witness that Storm King offers the best of both worlds on a massive scale. There we were, on a high plateau, surrounded by mountains. We saw so many interesting sculptures as we made our way across, up, down, and over this lush, beautifully manicured field. Art lover or not, the ambience was truly a sight to behold !

We spent the day walking, talking, laughing, taking photos, admiring the art, and just sitting quietly and appreciating the beautiful landscape. We even sprawled out on the grass and snuck in a quick nap.
