Scrapped Again

After four months, I am reunited with my photo editing software and external hard disk that contain all of my digital scrapbook kits. I have finally found time to continue and finish my Pregnancy Photobook which was held back before I gave birth because my laptop suddenly conked out. Anyway, I have done 3 layouts since yesterday and that’s a feat considering that it’s been a while since I last scrapped. I also designed several contactless cards for a friend's business. I’m looking forward to finish a layout or two by the end of the day and hopefully, have the layouts sent to Artscow for printing by next week.

My son loves playing in their school garden. You would see him often running about enjoying the soft grass and the cool breeze. He even enjoys it more if his classmates play with him and they chase each other on the grounds. We have taken several pictures of him in that school area and I’m wishing to scrap them soon. A relative of mine is so yearning and willing to learn cosmetology. She has the means but she couldn't find any accessible campus near her place. Luckily, I chanced upon a Cosmetology school while searching online for beauty schools within South Carolina area and I mentioned to her the website. At first she was hesitant for some reason but upon seeing the curriculum which includes classroom trainings, workshops and rehearsal and performance at the end of the program which usually lasts up to 9 months, she got suddenly interested. Summer Camp Kit

I have never experienced camping during my childhood days so I’m clueless what to expect when we go camping in Anawangin next year. It’s not definite yet but my sister is certain that it will be our yearly family outing. She has gone to this place numerous times already and she assured that we’ll fall in love with the place. We just have to make sure that our camping essentials are complete like our mountain hardwear tent, camping wear, and all other camping stuff that’s included in this kit Summer Camp Embellishments by Kate Hadfield. There are lots of nice Christmas kits today in my favorite digishops. Too bad, I haven’t installed my Photoshop still in my newly reformatted laptop. Aside from that, I also don’t have the luxury of time to whip up new layouts at this time even if I got the software installed. I’m not even sure if I’ll be able to come up with a Christmas layout using a quickpage. It would have really been nice to use these gorgeous Christmas kits especially that it’s our first Christmas as a family four. Nevertheless, I’ll still purchase some one of these days so that I have something ready to use when I get a chance to make our Christmas Photobook. I just hope it won’t take me months before I’ll be able to do that. I’ll also be shopping for a nice kit that would be perfect for my little one’s second time wedding bearer stint next month. He’ll be wearing a tuxedo complete with junior cufflinks. I’m sure he’ll be one handsome little young man with that getup.

Lead Restriction

If you don’t have the spare time to design your own Christmas card, gather the family for a holiday photo shoot and just plop your photos on any of these lovely Holiday Greeting Cards templates available in most of the digital scrapbooking stores. Once while surfing the internet, I came across an article that elaborates well a certain wonder drug. I browsed some more and learned that the drug in focus was Crestor. It is a medicine that works wonders and treat high cholesterol and prevent cardiovascular diseases. It is for people with high LDL cholesterol, high total cholesterol, and triglycerides. I even thought of giving this medicine to a friend who has been suffering from having high cholesterol. However what amazed me was the innumerable of Crestor lawsuit that entails the chronic use of the drug. Few people were giving positive testimonials to the drug though but they are far outnumbered by those who weren’t at all happy with the drug and in fact, suffering from its harmful side effects.

The digital scrapbooking world has been going crazy since last night as the Digital Scrapbooking Day is celebrated this weekend. Many stores have been offering irresistible sales, freebies and events and all of my digiscrapping friends are having a hard time controlling their shopping spree. Too bad, my laptop hasn't gotten fixed (it conked out again) yet. I can't join the fun and digiscrap away. But on the contrary, my paypal wallet is smiling because it won't endure any hard beating from any shopping madness. Perhaps, I'll just have to content myself downloading freebies and reading tutorials not about grow eyelashes but about Photoshop techniques and tricks.

Hybrid scrapbooking is getting more popular these days more than ever. "Hybrid" is the term used when traditional and digital elements of scrapbooking are combined to create even more artistic scrapbooks or other crafts.

There are many ways on how to go hybrid. Digiscrapping Halted

My laptop suddenly conked out last week. The good news is the hard disk, memory and all other hardware system configs are still in good condition (no bad sectors) so that means it still can be used and what it just needed was a reformat. So here it is…my laptop’s newly reformatted and I’m loving how it’s running fast again.

However, the husband is still locating my Adobe Photoshop installer so I can’t resume digiscrapping my pregnancy photobook yet. Talk about bad timing, huh? This is happening when I’m so “addicted” (that I’m almost needing an extensive rehab like a opiate detox treatment) downloading digiscrapping kits. I’m so psyched up to finish the photobook before I give birth but how can I do so if I don’t have my editing software.

Photobook Update

Remember the Pregnancy Photobook that I'm currently doing? Well, it's not finished yet (I haven't given birth so there's no natal moments to document yet) but I'm happy to share that I'm halfway done and have somehow caught up with my pregnancy timeline. So far, I have filled a total of 15 pages plus the front and back pages. There's just a few that I need to do then the labor, delivery and first few Baby A moments will just have to follow. I think next on my list is the page about my nesting experience where I personally washed her layette and all of her newborn stuff. I also have to document Asher's participation in the preps by helping me washed his sister's booties, mittens and small undies (including one that has a print similar to camo panties). And also another page or couple of pages for the 3D Ultrasound pictures. So excited for the outcome of this photobook but I'm more excited about the little princess' arrival.

The Lilypad’s Doctor! Doctor!

This is the perfect element pack for my son’s school activity today. They held their Career Day this morning and he came as a Doctor. He made a little speech and said “Hi! I’m Asher! When I grow up, I want to be a doctor because I want to cure sick people.” His Daddy and I took a lot of pictures and I’ll definitely scrap them or if time permits and there will be more coupon codes from Artscow, I’ll make a Photobook. What a great way to see how their imagination goes and how they look forward on what they want to become in the future.
