Worldwide Music Video Premiere - Jack Blades!

Hannity’s got the worldwide premiere of the video for Jack Blades’ new single, “Back In The Game”. The song is the first track from Blades’ forthcoming album ROCK N’ ROLL RIDE. The video imparts a strong patriotic message of the debt of gratitude owed to the military of this nation. Blades, a longtime fan of talk show host Sean Hannity, recently appeared on the “Hannity” television show and an instant bond was established melding the political world with the rock music world. Jack Blades commented, “Sean’s a great guy but he needs work on his onstage rock moves...I’m just the guy to teach him!”

Catholics mocked at the Grammy's?

What a week for the Catholics. Not only does news arise that President Obama was planning for a health care mandate that Catholic organizations would be required to provide birth control to patients and employee insurance programs, but now the music world takes aim too!

Another awards show, another controversial performance. Sunday night at the Grammy's it was Nicki Minaj who crossed the line by mocking the Catholic faith. The bleach blonde rapper arrived on the red carpet with an accessory to her red velvet cape: a man dressed like the pope. Viewers may have thought the strange ode to Catholicism were to stop there, but when time came for her performance, towards the end of the Grammy's show, she staged a mock exorcism while performing her, quote, new song titled "Roman Holiday."

For reaction, Sean was joined by Fox News contributor and columnist with the Daily Caller, Deneen Borelli. "It's easy for people who are performers to be outrageous. This performer, her trade is being outrageous. They're imitating Madonna," Borelli explained. "This is another example of an assault on the Catholic Church. Look who's at the head of this list -- President Obama, with the mandate, you shall or else!"

Last week, US Weekly reported that Sarah Palin had called in to Fox News host Sean Hannity‘s radio show following Christina Aguilera‘s National Anthem Superbowl flub and called the singer an “airhead.” What US weekly hadn’t bothered to check was whether the story was even real.

It wasn’t.

The comment was made up by a satirical “news” site, Super Tuesday News. US Weekly has removed the post from their website.

Time magazine, meanwhile used the same satirical source to cite a quote in their blog post, claiming that Palin had said she wanted Aguilera deported. Glynnis MacNicol at Business Insiderchronicles the whole saga.

John Rich (born January 7, 1974 in Amarillo, Texas) is an American country music artist. From 1992 to 1998, he was a member of the country music band Lonestar, in which he played bass guitar and alternated with Richie McDonald as lead vocalist. After being fired from the band Lonestar in 1998, Rich embarked on a solo career on BNA Records in the late 1990s, releasing two singles for the label and recording Underneath the Same Moon, which was not released until 2006.

By 2003, he joined Big Kenny to form the duo Big & Rich, who released three albums on Warner Bros. Records as well as ten singles, including the Number One "Lost in This Moment." After Big & Rich went on hiatus in 2007, Rich began work on a second solo album, Son of a Preacher Man, which has produced two more chart singles. In addition to his work in Big & Rich, John has co-written singles for multiple artists, including Keith Anderson, Cowboy Troy and Gretchen Wilson, as well as producing records for several other artists.
