Peluang Lebih Dengan Modal Kurang

Melibatkan Lebih Banyak Pihak

2. Dapat meningkatkan market exposure (pangsa pasar).
3. Menurunkan biaya operasional(operating cost).
4. Melebarkan jangkauan (global reach).
5. Meningkatkan customer loyality.
6. Meningkatkan supplier management.
7. Memperpendek waktu produksi.
8. Meningkatkan value chain (mata rantai pendapatan)

Google AdSense offers you the ability to change the appearance of your AdSense display. It has been shown that AdSense without a framework bring more clicks than AdSense with a frame. Internet users have developed enough savvy to recognizes advertisements on a site immediately.

Once you have a framework for your AdSense ads it "triggers" the users to avoid clicking on the ad.

More often than not, this flags the user to simply ignore it!

An AdSense ad on your website, which has framework results in the visitors doing nothing more than ignoring your banner.

Avoid anything immediately recognized as a advertising. This is particularly true for the when there is a frame outside your text link AdSense ads. Define your settings in the configuration of the AdSense simply the border color with the same color as your site background. Thus, for example: Home White background = white AdSense framework.

The Second - Tip #2
Setting the text color and the color of the hyperlink AdSense ads The case is similar with the color of the text and the link color. If you do not want your AdSense ads to be immediately recognized by visitors. You must define the text color as well as the hyperlink color, just as your home page text and links on the homepage also appear. If that is your hyperlinks to your site are displayed in green so you define the link color in the AdSense ads with the same green color. The same applies to the AdSense text, even this should be the same color of the text.

Try using light grey for both your text and your Google Adsense ADS.

The Third - Tip #3 What is the most efficient AdSense format for use on your home page?

This point can not be quite so easy to define, because ultimately, the AdSense format also must somehow fit into your home page. With great certainty a less efficient AdSense format is the banner 468 x 60!!

This is because this format is the standard format of banner ads, and thus immediately recognized as an advertisement by most internet users.

As mentioned above, today's Internet users have added the banner format 468 X 60 in their memory and immediately recognize it as a banner, even if that includes text ads. Avoid if possible using this banner format in the installation of your AdSense on your site. As one of the most effective banner formats, the AdSense format 336 x 280 is proven to be more effective.

Properly configured and deployed, it is with this format on a homepage that you will see the greatest results. Most people don't filter this out and recognize this as advertising.

The Fourth Tip - # 4 Never build a website based soley on one niche and Adsense.
You should avoid all your Internet revenue being solely based on AdSense. Because what happens when Google internal business policy changes, or your account gets hijacked?

I've been reading a few forums and blogs about Google Adsense tips lately, and thought it would be helpful to consolidate as many as possible in one place without the comments. I've also thrown in a few tips of my own. We start out with some of the basic general stuff and move to the more specific topics later on.....

Build an Empire....?

When you're deciding to become a website publisher you will fall into one of two broad categories:

• Publish 100 websites that each earn $1 a day profit?
• Publish 1 website that earns $100 a day profit?

The reality of it is, most people end up somewhere in between. Having 100 websites does indeed leave with maintenance, management and content issues. But having one website also leaves you open to all sort of fluctuations (search engines algorithm's, market trends, etc).....

You can adapt your plan on the way, but you'll have an easier time if you start out going in the direction of where you want to end up.

Would you rather start a soda vending machine business and maintain 100 vending machines everyday?

Or would you rather work from the comfort of your home slowly growing and maintaining 100 websites?

It will take time but start with one build it and let it settle for a month or so while you continue creating niche based websites.

You will spend a minimal amount of money and lots of time getting started but.....would you pay $200 a month for 3 months learning a business that will pay you back your initial investment for a continued period of time?

I would happily pay $2000 for a few months to learn a business that could ultimately make me $2000 per month for the rest of my life.....

The secret that will make your AdSense revenues can double. There are ways in which your current AdSense revenue up to 100% or more can increase by a small but effective trick - even the pros use - for the design of your AdSense ads.........

Well ... Do I have your attention?

Tests on my websites have actually shown that this effect is not stunt his misguided and thus the turnover was substantially increase it.

Tip Fifth Tip - #5 Where should the AdSense units to be placed As mentioned above, it is most effective when the AdSense running on your home page text can be implemented.

".....The best so that the text will flow around the AdSense and thus creates a visual layout, as would the AdSense for content on your web site belongs....."

Tip ixth Tip - #6 Now I know how to improve my CTR but how can I improve my earnings? AdSense is one of the best tools you can use to draw dollars to your site. Remember that there is no easy way to make money on Adsense... it takes a lot of work.

".....You can start of by blocking low paying advertisers with Filters......"

Why to loose a visitor for 0.01 cents?

Use Overture or Google Adwords Keywords tool to discover keywords that are less popular with advertisers.

Tip #7 AdSense How many boxes can be placed on a website?

Google allows you to three ad units and one link unit per page. How many should you use?

"....Quite simply, everything you can. You are three ad units and an ad link unit. Provided of course that you have enough text on your home page, it is possible that not all units ads are filled with ads....."

Check after a few days to see whether all the Adsense ads are relevant. You know what AdSense ads bring the most revenue in you're niche.

"......In the Setup menu in Google AdSense, you have the possibility of using your AdSense channels units in groups to capture statistics. This provides Google with a little more focused way to know which groups AdSense better turnover and which are not as likely to be clicked...."

If you want to take things even further you can also...

• Discover what AdSense ads are clicked find the provider of the AdSense ads, or the website on which the advertisement, and find it even more possibilities and partner and sell affiliate products.

For example, if you notice that your Site visitors often ads to click on a particular topic would be also a product that you are on your site can offer, because it seems to be the case that your target audience to a need for this product.

So why not own the product offering as an affiliate and earn more margin than just a few cents with AdSense?

Some Brief History about me....

I've always been extremely eager to learn about all of the ways you can make money from the internet.

There are so many different ways to make money, I'll admit that it can get very overwhelming.

But, if you boil everything down into the one "thing" that is necessary to generate money online - "it comes down to how well you can generate "targeted" traffic to your website."

When I started online, way back in the early 2000s, I owned a aquariam supply related website.

I managed to get my website to the top of Google for the most competitive keywords in the world. Keywords like: salt water aquarium, aquarium supplies, wholesale aquarium supplies

I put ALOT of work into getting my website to the top of Google for those keywords. Why did I spend so much time and effort to try and rank highly for those keywords?

I'll tell you exactly why... Because I knew those keywords would send ALOT of traffic to my site. Back in the day, I thought...

Alot of traffic = Alot of sales.....!

WRONG........

I mean, heck, common sense would tell you that the more traffic you got to your website, the more sales you would make, right?

WRONG ... Back then, I, like most other people, thought that's the way it all worked, or I obviously wouldn't have spent to much time and effort on those keywords.

Let me explain....

While I did have #1 rankings for nearly every single major keyword related to the aquarium supplies industry and it was bringing in over 10,000 visitors to my dinky little website PER DAY, the conversion rate (i.e. the amount of sales I made per visitor) was ridiculously low.

I sold roughly 1 product for every 1,000 people that came to my site.

That's a .1% conversion rate. You heard me right, "point one percent".

If you don't know what a good conversion rate is, let me just say that you should never have below a 1 percent conversion rate, let alone a .1 percent. Getting 1,000 visitors to your site per day takes a heck of a lot of work....

".....If I had to do it all over again, I would NOT spend my time on such broad, competitive keyword phrases like: weight loss. ... only to have such a poor visitor value and very little return for my time and effort....."

I would spend my time ranking for, bidding on, and basing my entire business on keywords that are already 100% proven to convert visitors into buyers....

Because, let's face it, we want people to come to our website and BUY our stuff. We don't want people visiting our site if they're just going to leave, right....?

There are two major problems that online marketers have, and they are:

They focus on extremely broad keywords that just bring a lot of random traffic to their websites. They don't know how to properly research their market to find which people are buying what they're selling.

Because you've read up to this point, problem #1 should no longer be a sticking point for you. It can lead to a lot of extra work, with very little results.

"......In fact, in my case, it was downright depressing to have 10,000 daily visitors, only to make 10 sales a day. I had imagined that when the day came that I had 10,000 daily visitors, I'd be sitting on the beach somewhere, sipping margaritas :-) and that obviously didn't happen...."

So, at this point, the only problem that remains is not knowing how to properly research a market or niche, to find exactly which people are buying what you're selling.

Well, guess what......?

Even though it took me 3 years of my life to come to grips that in order to make a heck of a lot of money on the internet, you absolutely have to focus on very specific, targeted keywords...

I finally learned, and because of this, I've been able to help thousands of other achieve the type of online success I've been fortunate enough to have.

I want you to visit my website for more tips. l show you exactly which keywords you should focus on, to literally triple or more, the amount of money you make from your online business

.

Although many webmasters are making a nice income with these ads, many aren't. Every single website and its owner have the opportunity to make some great money by displaying Google Adsense ads on it. Although many webmasters are making a nice income with these ads, many aren't. Many people say that all you have to do is put up a website and you'll be making over $100 a day with Google Adsense. It does sound simple and it is, but you will need to optimize your site so that you do generate more and more clicks on the ads that are sitting on your site.

The first thing that you need to do is to Place the Google Adsense ads in the right spot of the page. This will determine how much money you will make each day. It is very important that you place the ad at the top of the page (above the fold) on your website in order to get the most clicks. What this really means is that you will want to place the Adsense code that Google gives you high enough on the page so that your visitors do not have to scroll down to see the Google ads. If you choose to have the ads right at the top above everything else then do that. By placing the Google Adsense ads at the top of your website above the fold, there is a greater chance that people will click on the ad, which will help your site generate a higher click through rate also known as CTR. The reason for this is because the majority of your visitors will not scroll down the page and look at it.
A lot of the time, people look over the top part of the page without worrying about scrolling down. The way you blend the ads with the rest of your page can determine if the ad is visually appealing or not. It is very crucial to make the Google Adsense ads look like your site and not another ad. You can do this by making the font and color of the ad's text similar to the rest of the page. I also recommend that you blend the background of the ad with the background of your page. It should basically have the same color. Google gives you the option to go into your account and customize your ads in different fonts and colors. This will help you blend the ads to your site. Make sure that you don't use the banner ads on your site because this will decrease your click through rate.
People who visit your website usually try to avoid any banner and picture ads that they see. If you want to increase your click through rate, you will want to add text ads. Google gives you that option so use it.
Here are some other small tips to increase your Adsense income:

1. Google has confirmed that using the 336x280 rectangle ad block size does have the highest click through rate. Using this ad size will increase your click through rate and the income that you generate.

2. Using a blue underline for the links can also improve your click through rate. This allows the ads to actually stand out and look clickable.
If you follow the advice given above, you can improve your CTR and make more money with Google Adsense.

source : http://www.articlesbase.com

With AdWords you can easily support many other affiliate programs on the same web site by simply sustaining the topic. AdWords will help you to gather quality traffic and will also lend a hand to increase this traffic by making you one of the valuable resources. Creating your own website is like being a big brand and supporting other brands and this is only possible with AdWords.

Not only this, people start respecting your propositions and suggestions when you become a valuable resource. The best part is that it helps to enhance your production and sale, obtain quality traffic and also helps to bestow you with a good rank in the competitive online market. For working effectively with AdWords you can bear in mind some important notions like a smarter way to present your advertisement, making attractive graphics, adding content rich pages while page load and lot more.

According to some people, you should try to avoid borderlines in the advertisement or banners. This will help to congregate quality crowd thereby increasing your sales. There are many people who have been earning good revenues from the website itself, but still adopt for AdWords in order to make profits. AdWords have satisfied a numerous people around the world and you can also be benefitted by it. So opt for AdWords now and take all the advantages.

Keyword research

To gain better exposure and value for your campaigns I suggest you use the free Google keyword tool to search for the top queried keywords. They also show the advertising congestion which will give us a rough idea what people are competitively bidding on and which keyword to optimize our site for.

There are a lot of other websites too which provide top paying keywords. Some of them are

Keyword country.

word tracker.

These are mostly paid sites. When you subscribe to them you will be able to access their database of top paying keywords. They will return the maximum bid that was placed on that particular keyword, the average search volume and so on. But don’t get fooled by the statistics. Why? Because statistics ‘LIE’. Mostly you won’t even get 10% of the bid amount said on a particular keyword. Why? Simply because these are the maximum bids on a keyword. Hence are not flat rate amount and hence tend to vary with competition and other factors.

Geo targeting-

This is a powerful feature most users tend to ignore. Simply because they feel reaching a wider audience increases their chances of revenue or sales. Well you guessed wrong. If you sell products in Delhi, India and you advertise for a global market, most of your click through will go to waste because people prefer local sellers for any products unless of course you own eBay (Still have you not figured out why eBay has separate stores for different countries? Even you tube does!!!). In case of advertising your affiliate products on money making and all geo targeting should be disabled.

Ad rotation

Constantly change your ad after carefully studying the click through you get. Even a small change in the title may affect your keyword dramatically. So run a test ad with a small budget first.

So in short to get full benefit from ad words do the following

Analyze       competition.

Research       keywords.

Geo       target.

Run a       test ad

Make effective use of adsense

AdSense is a Google advertisement program that lets the website publishers to earn profit from their own sites by inserting advertisements from the Google Ad words Network. When some one clicks the advertisement, the person who uses AdSense is profited by the share that Google charges the advertiser.

Every time some one visits the website the website publisher is profited. If you also want to make money from your website you just need to use Google AdSense. Even if you do not have any affiliate program or you do not have any online service you can make use of Google AdSense to earn revenue. Google AdSense has become one of the best methods to earn profits.

  However, there are some people who make money by simply selling the products, but are still using Google AdSense. The reason is that they can easily make loads of money when some one clicks the advertisement. This is the biggest advantage of using Google AdSense. AdSense not only allows the web publisher to gain profit, but also allows many other people to get profited. You as a publisher are paid to put an advertisement on your website and the one who clicks the advertisement helps the advertiser to make money by purchasing the product and Google is being paid by the advertiser, making every body gain the profit. To gain maximum returns, always make sure that what is the best that can be utilized and try that vertical scrapers should always have positive result.

Creativity is another thing that will attract more and more visitors, so you can opt for borderless banners for the advertisement. While designing the advertisement, you can make use of the keywords, but keep in mind that overdoing with the keywords may lead to a red flag triggered by Google. So keep in mind all these notions and make profits from Google AdSense.

Trial and error are the best ways. Just try different ad formats and see which one works for you the best. This way you can earn more in the future. Just don’t trick your readers into clicking by saying click here or must see links or so on. First they are against google TOC. Secondly it is not very morale as your readers may or may not get much value out of it. Try to remove it from the navigation bar or close. Yes you may get maximum clicks there if you use link units. But then again people would see through you and may stop coming to your site. Imagine if your major share is through direct entry!!!

If you're not already in the program, why not take a look at it now at https://www.google.com/adsense. I really like Adsense. It makes me money and it's easy to work with. Just some simple copy & paste into your webpage and you're done. Right?
Wrong! You can do it that way if you want. Who knows? Maybe you'll get lucky and get a lot of clicks. But if you're really serious about making a lot of money with the program, you're going to have to tweak it a little.

I've invested quite a bit of time experimenting with the program. When I first signed up, I got some clicks and made a tiny bit of money. That wasn't good enough. I knew there must be a way to get more of my visitors to click on the ads.

Google has a strict policy about not pointing to the ads in any way or asking people to click on them, so there were two things I couldn't do. What else was there?

Then I remembered reading an article once that discussed the psychological impact of colors on the human mind. I started researching everything I could find on the subject.

After a lot of reading, many tests and periods of watching my clicks go up and down, I found the one color combination that seemed to work the best.

Testing previously done at supermarkets had revealed that the same product could pull more sales from just changing the colors of the label. What were these colors? Red and yellow! The combination of these two colors has an immediate impact on the person who sees them. They make your eyes stop and focus. They pull your eyes right to that part of the page. They grab your attention! I'm not sure exactly why the combination of red and yellow does this, but it does. On one of my sites, I changed my Adsense ads to a bright red border and a yellow background with black text and URL.

My click through rate more than doubled with just that one simple change. That's what worked on my site. Your site's color scheme may work better with a slightly different color combination. Try lots of different color variations. Make a change in the morning and let it ride for the whole day. The next morning, try a different set of colors. Change the border, background, text. Change everything you can. Most importantly, keep detailed records of the color scheme you used, click ratio and revenue generated.

After you've done all the experimenting you want to, go back to the most profitable one and let it run for a week or so and see how it does. I'm always trying different colors even after my run of good clicks with red and yellow. There are a lot of color combinations to choose from. You never know when you'll find just the right one.

Out of these many of them are intentionally created for spamming but what to do when your blog has been locked for no reason; I mean if your blog doesn’t violate Terms and services of Blogger and still you face this situation.
Blogger blog can be locked if your blog has spamming content, malware posing possible threats or anything against TOS; OR Some Malicious users may have flagged your blog reporting it abuse to Blogger using NavBar of your blog. Many inncocent Blogs are caught in crossfire for no use. Blogger system without reviewing it first locks your blog and then you can’t do nothing instead of waiting. Read on to unlock it yourself…

For Example your blog URL sony.blogspot.com gets locked, First of all don’t panic! Your blog has not been deleted. Instead, you will not be able to post until your blog has been reviewed and cleared by a member of the Blogger team. But when this reviewing process will complete? Follow the steps.

Go to Blogger in Draft, Create a new blog (Yes, you do have access to your blogger account eventhought blog is blocked) and For example the new blog URL is tony.blogspot.com

Now, Go to setting tab of your new blog and from Blog Tools column, Click on Import Blog. Import all your blog posts and comments of sony.blogspot.com to tony.blogspot.com

Now, Go to Settings of locked one (sony.blogspot.com) and under Publishing tab- Give Blog*Spot address as anything except sony or tony. Let us call it sony-new.blogspot.com

Again Go to settings of tony.blogspot.om and under Publishing tab, change the Blogspot address to sony.blogspot.com

Done, Your Locked blogger blog is now unlocked, You can now post, edit, delete anything you want as a normal blogspot blog.

This happenss because, Blogger systems while blocking a blog takes into account your blog ID not the URL of your blog. Blog ID is a unique number given to all blogs for their identification by Blogger systems. It generally appers while your are on control panel of a Blog. For example - http://blogger.com/blog-options-basic.g?blogID=XXXXXXXXXXXX

Whereas you are interested in Blog URL not its ID, isn’t it? So, getting locked Blogger blog is easy but this post is not for promoting malicious content or spam on Blogs. You should not spam because you are getting free hosted full fledged Blogger hosting for free and it’s great to use it. This tutorial is published to help those innocent bloggers who have been a victim for no purpose. Since, Blogger will not get time to review your blog manually (I think so..) and so, you will have to take this steps.

It is recommended to always have a backup of your blog on any dummy URL for safety.

These are usually conducted by many companies in relation to development of their new products. These companies recognize how you need to spend time and effort to answer their queries, so they pay you accordingly for answering them. Therefore, you really do get paid for surveys. Here are the best tips to remember while you get started with earning money from "Paid Survey" agencies
.

Do NOT divulge your personal information:
Never ever give any personal information - this is a rule. No company is interested in knowing what is your street address and phone number. May be they would like to have your postcode or city name - that is enough for them. Do not use your personal email-ids. May be your email -id could fall into wrong hands and victimized to spams. Sign up with a throw-away email id and create one with Google or Yahoo exclusively for this purpose.

If anyone asks you money to participate, DON'T:
Genuine companies pay to get your (customer's) opinions, remember? If someone asks you to pay to take part in surveys, show them your hand (or the finger).

Invest in a course; Learn from experts:
Time is money, if you agree or not. So, spend your time wisely. we can seen lot of peoples are complained that they have lost countless hours of their hard labour in filling surveys that were conducted by bogus companies. Such companies get your responses and sell it to a higher rate to the companies, and you may not even get paid at all. So, invest in a good course and learn the insider's tips and tricks.

Know the Terms and Conditions:
Every survey opportunity comes with a certain terms and conditions. Marketers, sometimes, would like to have the opinions of a certain age group, nationality or geographical region. Read the fine print before you start filling the surveys. Obviously the people living in USA and Europe will have more number of survey opportunities than the people living in India or Pakistan. There is nothing against them, but 70% of the companies are based in USA and Europe. But, the trend is changing, as India, China are growing as the biggest consumer base for any company in the world. They can't simply ignore.

Keep an eye on Suspicious things:
Bad things, deceptive opportunities and traps exist everywhere. So, open your eyes and smell for only good opportunities. That's why I ask you to invest in a good course that teaches you all the tricks and tips about paid surveys. It is worth every penny. And you can't ignore experience, you will get better as you progress. If you do not invest in learning from a course or from other experts, you will lose your precious hard work and time which could be well worth hundreds and thousands of dollars.As you start filling surveys, you will get to differentiate between a legitimate survey agency and a untrustworthy one. Trust your own instincts in choosing the surveys and do not fall for the big bucks.

When a spider sees that you have a word placed several times in an article, it will determine that your page may be useful to users that search for such a keyword.

Over Optimizing Your Articles

It is important to note that there is also such a thing as over optimizing your articles for particular words, this is known as “keyword stuffing”. When you stuff keywords in an article a spider will detect that you are trying to trick it into placing your article high in the search engine results for that word, and will instead penalize your site and your page for doing such. This may even affect the rankings of your other pages or get your site blacklisted from a particular search engine if you are found keyword stuffing too many times.

What is Keyword Density?

Keyword density is how many times your keyword is placed in your article. Most use a percentage to determine how many times they will put a keyword in an article. For instance, if you have a 500 word article and want to achieve a keyword density of 5%, then you will need to have the keyword in your article exactly 25 times. You can find hundreds of resources and guides recommending one keyword density over another and the reasons behind the logic, however, in the end you will have to determine which density is more profitable for your articles. Each webmaster as their own density that they like to achieve based on past results. As long as you don’t over optimize and you are making sufficient profit from your rankings, then you can choose whatever keyword density you like.

The Right Density

No matter what exact density you choose, it is important to place keywords so that there are more at the beginning and end to produce an hour glass effect. Having the right keyword density in your article makes it more likely that you will make money off of that article because it will rise in the search engine results and be seen by more people.

Why?

There is no product or service to promote. Only your domain. Webspace, an Adsense account, and highly targeted traffic is needed. Your success with adsense, you will soon learn, is as easy as driving s car or cooking a four course meal. The reality is Adsense Success and everything else has to be learned. When you learned how to drive a car it became simple and after a couple of months of driving everyday or so. It became second nature. Once you learn the Adsense formula and it's variables. The sky's the limit with Google Adsense

Learn The Adsense Craft.

You can't cheat your way to success or for some a healthy adsense income. Just like anything other skill in life, it has to be learned. Everything that everyone knows was learned from a teacher(I.E. Anyone), a book, an article(I.E. Newspapers, Magazines, and the Internet), or by word of mouth. You have to learn the adsense formula and all the adsense variables. I have a A.A.S in Computer Programming and Engineering. So believe me I know how to give low-level instructions. No one can tell YOU how to make YOUR site a success, only guide you in the right direction.

The Adsense Variables

TT(High CTR) + Content = Adsense Earnings

Content - try to have a 1000 words of keyphrase-rich content.
High CTR - highly optimized placement of the adsense code.
TT - Highly Targeted Traffic

Yes that's it. The "Adsense Formula" is just a basic math problem and as we all know any on can learn math. We're not near finished. These variables the make up the Adsense Formula is the key to your success. Why refer to them as variables, because these Adsense elements constantly change and YOU are in full control of them. Imagine a indoor plant and its variables. Sunlight, Soil PH, CO2, Fertilizer, and Water. You control every variable and if each one is highly optimized then you will have a healthy fast-growing plant. If you highly optimize each adsense variable then you will in turn receive a healthy fast growing adsense income. Now that we have an understanding let's evaluate this "Adsense Formula."

Adsense Content

Keywords are a bad idea! High paying or not. In fact don't choose high paying keywords, not because of the saturation of SEO experts, but because keywords are to broad. Adwords is ying and Adsense is yang. Broad keywords have low payouts and ctr. You want to target keyphrases, so your site only displays high paying adsense ads, not .15 adsense ads from some beginner with one of your terms in their adwords campaign. There is a lot of free content online, but it is best to use unique content for search engine purposes. To accomplish this hire a writer or choose niche subjects that you are familiar with, so that you can write your own articles and e-books. Don't base your site on money rather than your passion. Example. My passion is computers and networking.

Adsense CTR

Optimal adsense ad placement is the heart of high adsense ctr. There are four locations on a webpage the receives the most clicks.

1. Just above the fold. The fold is the end of the section of the page you can view without scrolling.

2. All along side the left column.

3. In your content, if very interesting and informative.

4. At the end of your content after a reader finishes.

Adsense ad format effects ctr greatly whether or not they are placed in the right spots. Squares receive the most clicks, beginning with the largest and so on. The ads should blend with your page. Only the link title should be a different color than the text and url. No borders unless red or yellow. They attract viewer's eyes.
The link color should match your site's links, but blue and red work the best. Incredibly Increase your adsense ctr up to 400% by placing related images above or to the left of adsense ads.

Highly Targeted Traffic

Yes, there is a difference between targeted traffic and highly targeted traffic. Someone looking for an online business would be targeted traffic to this article, but someone looking for an adsense business would be a highly targeted visitor. Why high quality traffic? Your Ctr will be amazing and unbelievable because all of your traffic will be looking for YOUR site. Don't be surprised if you have certain days where 97% of your visitors clicked an adsense ad. How? Blogs, Articles, E-books, Rss Feeds, and most SERP(search engine results page) traffic. Never use traffic exchanges or links from other sites unless their content is similar to yours.

I will assume most people are familiar with what the programme is and how it works, if not there are many guides, the most useful being google itself.

However, many feel Adsense has had it’s day in the sun, and people these days don’t bother to click on ads. One drawback is blogs receiving traffic from other blogs. No matter how popular a blog is, chances are most of their income comes from either membership or affiliate products. Adsense itself has an affiliate programme. But here I’m giving an idea for an Adsense tactic. It is largely dependant on SEO, and attracting other website traffic (not just blog traffic)

                                            Attract Search Engine Traffic

A lot depends on what your website offers it’s readers. Example; My guitar site. This is my top site for search engine traffic. This because it is more popular, and is focused on it’s subject. I get a lot of traffic from people looking for free downloads of guitar scores.

Although I offer some music scores, I only upload my own or copyright free. Remember though, if people come to your site and get the downloads they want, why click on ads taking them to another site? Far more likely if they do NOT get what they want at your site they will click on the ads on your page, IF you attract targeted ads.

A lot of search engine traffic is potential buyers or looking for free downloads. If your site attracts buyers for products, these are the people most likely to click on ads.

However, I do not like cluttering up my site with ads all over the site. Remember you can place ads on selected posts, or on single posts, the latter by going to theme editor in wordpress, and clicking on single.php to place the ad code in. Or simply edit a post already published, and use html format and add the code to the post where you want the ads to appear.

So be selective with website ads, work out a strategy and try it over a few months to see how it goes. Human beings are subconsciously affected by the colors they take in from moment to moment.
Following are 5 important things to keep in mind about the psychology of color when designing your website.

Choose no more than 3 - 5 colors and then use them thematically throughout the website. More than that and you’re taking your visitors through a confusing emotional roller-coaster of color.

Use colors that are found in nature. For example, green similar to trees or grass; blue similar to sky or ocean; reds, yellows and other colors found in plants and flowers; and other colors found in nature. Bright pinks and fuchsias are harsh and don’t work well.

For readability, the choice between the background color and the text should contrast well without being distracting. Colors that don’t contrast will just blend right into each other and make it difficult to read. The best choice is black text on a white background, but feel free to experiment with other choices like a gray background with a contrasting text color.

Keep your demographics in mind when choosing colors. If your site is designed for younger visitors, then more vibrant and exciting colors will work; whereas more conservative colors like whites, grays and browns work better for older visitors.

Blue has been determined to be the universal safe color choice for most demographics, evoking feelings of peace and calm. Emotions that have been connected with colors include the following:

• Blue - Cool, trustworthiness, loyalty
• Red - Excitement, power, anger, or passion
• Black - Sophistication, mystery, or evil
• Yellow - Joy, happiness, or light
• Green - Life, nature, health, or wealth

So, while flashy graphics and exciting content may be what you think of most while designing your website, an equally important element is how the colors you choose affect the mood of your visitors.

Go to the options tab , open permalinks and change the selection from default to custom . Enter the following values at the custom text box and save it .

/%year%/%monthnum%/%postname%.html

Now you have successfully transferred your Blogger blog to wordpress with the existing link structure and search engine traffic.Note that you can also use try this wordpress plugin for custom permalinks.

Currently, RSS is the de facto standard for blog syndication, and it is used widely in both personal and corporate settings; for example, in blogs. And because a large percentage of these blogs run on WordPress, we’ll cover in this post some (hopefully) relatively unknown but useful RSS-related tricks and hacks that will help you use RSS in a more effective way — and without unnecessary and chunky WordPress plug-ins.
Let’s take a look at 10 useful, yet rather unknown RSS-tricks for WordPress

. Each section of the article presents a problem, suggests a solution and provides you with an explanation of the solution, so that you can not just solve some of your RSS-related problems but also understand what you are actually doing. Thus, you can make sure your WordPress theme remains under your control and is not bloated with some obscure source code.

1. Control When Your Posts are Available via RSS

The problem. Have you ever published an article and then immediately noticed an error? Sure, you can edit it, but there’s another problem: the article has already been published in your RSS feed. To avoid this kind of problem, use this recipe to create a delay between the publication of a post and its availability in your RSS feed.

The solution. To apply this hack, simply paste the following code into your theme’s function.php file. If your theme doesn’t have this file, just create it.

view plaincopy to clipboardprint?

function publish_later_on_feed($where) {

global $wpdb;

if ( is_feed() ) {

// timestamp in WP-format

$now = gmdate(‘Y-m-d H:i:s’);

// value for wait; + device

$wait = ‘5′; // integer

// http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/date-and-time-functions.html#function_timestampdiff

$device = ‘MINUTE’; //MINUTE, HOUR, DAY, WEEK, MONTH, YEAR

// add SQL-sytax to default $where

$where .= “ AND TIMESTAMPDIFF($device, $wpdb->posts.post_date_gmt, ’$now’) > $wait ”;

}

return $where;

}

add_filter(‘posts_where’, ‘publish_later_on_feed’);

function publish_later_on_feed($where) {  global $wpdb;   if ( is_feed() ) {   // timestamp in WP-format   $now = gmdate('Y-m-d H:i:s');    // value for wait; + device   $wait = '5'; // integer    // http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/date-and-time-functions.html#function_timestampdiff   $device = 'MINUTE'; //MINUTE, HOUR, DAY, WEEK, MONTH, YEAR    // add SQL-sytax to default $where   $where .= " AND TIMESTAMPDIFF($device, $wpdb->posts.post_date_gmt, '$now') > $wait ";  }  return $where; }  add_filter('posts_where', 'publish_later_on_feed');

Code explanation. The above code will add a 5-minute delay to the time between when your post is published on your blog and when it appears in your RSS feed. To change the length of the delay, change the value of the $wait variable on line 9.

Sources

Publish your feed later

2. Redirecting WordPress Feeds to FeedBurner Feeds

The problem. Beginner bloggers usually start to use FeedBurner only after they have seen it used on many other blogs and realize how useful and cool this tool is. They sign up and start to use it, but their early readers are already subscribed to their default WordPress feed.

Another problem: do you often change your theme? If so, you must be bored having to edit each call to bloginfo(’rss2_url’) and replace it with your FeedBurner feed’s URL.

The solution. The solution to both problems described above is simple: use server redirections.

Create a backup of your .htaccess file, located in the root of your Web server.

Edit the .htaccess file and add the following code. Don’t forget to modify the feed’s URL with your own feed’s URL.

view plaincopy to clipboardprint?

# temp redirect wordpress content feeds to feedburner

<ifmodule> </ifmodule>

RewriteEngine on

RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} !FeedBurner    [NC]

RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} !FeedValidator [NC]

RewriteRule ^feed/?([_0-9a-z-]+)?/?$ http://feeds.feedburner.com/wprecipes [R=302,NC,L]

# temp redirect wordpress content feeds to feedburner <ifmodule> RewriteEngine on RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} !FeedBurner [NC] RewriteCond %{HTTP_USER_AGENT} !FeedValidator [NC] RewriteRule ^feed/?([_0-9a-z-]+)?/?$ http://feeds.feedburner.com/wprecipes [R=302,NC,L] </ifmodule>

Save the file. You’re done!

Code explanation. Each time someone clicks on a link to http://www.yourblog.com/feed, he or she will be redirected to http://feeds.feedburner.com/yourblog. This way, you will have never lost an RSS subscriber, and even if you change your theme twice a day, you’ll never have to manually edit your RSS feed links again.

Sources

Redirect WordPress feeds to FeedBurner via htaccess (Redux)

How to: redirect WordPress RSS feeds to FeedBurner with .htaccess

3. Insert Ads (or Anything Else) in Your RSS Feed

The problem. Monetizing RSS feeds is currently becoming a common practice, and many blog owners do it to maximize their income. FeedBurner can insert AdSense ads into your feed items, but you need at least 500 subscribers to qualify, and you can’t use any ads other than the AdSense ads provided by FeedBurner.

The solution. It is possible, though, to insert other kinds of ads into your RSS feed. You can, for example, use a link to a free WordPress theme only for your RSS subscribers.

Follow these simple steps to perform this hack:

Edit the functions.php file of your theme. If your theme doesn’t have a functions.php file, simply create one.

Paste the following code into your functions.php file:

view plaincopy to clipboardprint?

function insertAds($content) {

$content = $content.‘
Have you visited WpRecipes today?
’;

return $content;

}

add_filter(‘the_excerpt_rss’, ‘insertAds’);

add_filter(‘the_content_rss’, ‘insertAds’);

?>

Have you visited WpRecipes today?
';     return $content; } add_filter('the_excerpt_rss', 'insertAds'); add_filter('the_content_rss', 'insertAds'); ?>

Save the file. You’re now displaying your ads in your RSS feed!

Code explanation. I have seen many similar hacks on the Web, but all of them require you to edit WordPress core files to achieve the same result. Of course, editing WordPress core files is a very bad idea because then you would have to re-edit the files each time you upgrade your blog. Instead, this hack uses the add_filter() WordPress function to insert content into your RSS feed without editing any core files.

Sources

How to: insert ads in your RSS feed

4. Format Your Images for Feed Readers

The problem. You took a lot of time to write and format your post and add beautiful screenshots. It looks so good on your blog. Sadly, when the post is displayed in Google Reader or any other RSS reader, it doesn’t look so great.

The solution. This is due to the fact that most feed readers display images inline with text:

To avoid this problem, add a CSS class to display the image as a block. WordPress provides the built-in class “center“:

view plaincopy to clipboardprint?

“http://78.46.108.98/images/wordpress-rss-hacks/myimage.jpg” alt=“This is my image” class=“center”/>

Sources

How to format images for feed readers

5. Provide Your Readers with a Feed for Each Post

The problem. When a post has lots and lots of comments, it can be hard for readers to follow the conversation. Most WordPress users don’t know this, but our favorite blogging engine has a built-in function for providing an RSS feed for the comments in each post.

The solution. Well, this recipe isn’t really a hack or anything: to provide an RSS feed for the comments in a particular post, just call the comment_rss_link() function:

view plaincopy to clipboardprint?

‘» Comments RSS Feed’); ?>

Sources

WordPress how to: provide an RSS feed for the comments in each post

6. Exclude Categories from Your RSS Feed

The problem. Do you use one of your blog categories to let readers know about your website’s news, or does your blog feature a category that has nothing to do with the rest of your content? If so, it is generally not a good idea to include it in your RSS feed.

The solution. Here’s how to get rid of one of the categories in your RSS feed:

First, get the numeric ID of the category you want to exclude. If you don’t know how to get the ID of a particular category, you can learn how here.

Once you have the ID of the category you want to exclude from your RSS feed, edit the functions.php file in your theme. Create the file if it doesn’t exist.

Paste the following code in it:

view plaincopy to clipboardprint?

function myFilter($query) {

if ($query->is_feed) {

$query->set(‘cat’,‘-5′); //Don’t forget to change the category ID =^o^=

}

return $query;

}

add_filter(‘pre_get_posts’,‘myFilter’);

function myFilter($query) {     if ($query->is_feed) {         $query->set('cat','-5'); //Don't forget to change the category ID =^o^=     } return $query; }  add_filter('pre_get_posts','myFilter');

Save the file, and you’re done!

Code explanation. This hack works exactly the same way as the previous one: create a custom function to exclude the category that you don’t want to appear in your RSS feed, and then use the super-useful add_filter() function to apply it to the pre_get_posts() WordPress core function.

Sources

Excluding posts from your WordPress feed

How to: exclude categories from your RSS feed

7. Display Any RSS Feed on Your WordPress Blog

The problem. Do you have more than one blog, or do you manage a forum? If so, you may want to be able to display any RSS feed on your WordPress blog.

The solution. Many plug-ins can do the job, but they’re not necessary at all. WordPress has a built-in RSS reader that is used, for example, to display news on your dashboard. All you have to do is use it in your theme.

Paste the following code anywhere in your theme (personally, I’d put it in the sidebar, the footer or, even better, the page template):

view plaincopy to clipboardprint?

include_once(ABSPATH.WPINC.‘/rss.php’);

wp_rss(‘http://feeds.feedburner.com/wprecipes’, 3); ?>

Save it and you’re done. It’s as easy as that!

Code explanation. The first thing we have done is include the rss.php file from WordPress core. This file allows us to use the wp_rss() function, which takes two parameters: the first is the RSS feed’s URL, and the second is the number of RSS entries to be displayed.

Sources

How to: Display any RSS feed on your WordPress blog

8. Use Category-Specific RSS Feeds

The problem. Many blogs talk about a lot of different topics: design, programming, blogging tips, etc. Have you ever come across a blog in which you have enjoyed only one category of posts? If so, you should definitely consider offering one feed per category to your own readers.

The solution. Let’s say you’d like to be able to subscribe only to TheGridSystem’s tools section. The category URL is:

view plaincopy to clipboardprint?

http://www.thegridsystem.org/categories/tools/

http://www.thegridsystem.org/categories/tools/

To get an RSS feed for this category, you simply have to add /feed to the end of the URL:

view plaincopy to clipboardprint?

http://www.thegridsystem.org/categories/tools/feed

http://www.thegridsystem.org/categories/tools/feed

Pretty easy, isn’t it? But pretty useful, too, in my opinion.

9. List RSS Feeds by Category

The problem. If you like the previous hack, you will probably also want to be able to display the names of all your category feeds in a list to your readers.

The solution.

Edit any of your theme files, where you want to list your categories and their accompanying feeds.

Paste the following code:

view plaincopy to clipboardprint?

‘feed_image=http://www.myblog.com/image.gif&feed=XML Feed&optioncount=1&children=0′); ?>

Save the file. You categories will now be displayed, along with their RSS feeds!

Code explanation. This hack uses only the good old wp_list_categories() function, with two parameters. The first is feed_image, which allows us to specify the URL to be displayed as a feed image. The second parameter is feed, which is used to specify the feed format.

10. Get Rid of RSS Feeds the Clean Way

The problem. Let’s say you’re using WordPress as a CMS to manage your online portfolio or your company’s website. In such cases, the RSS feed isn’t that useful, and some people would probably want to remove it.

The solution. I have seen many “hacks” on the Web where people say you just have to remove the include on the wp-settings.php core file. I don’t think you should ever edit a core file. Instead, the following hack will do the job. Simply paste this code in the functions.php file of your theme:

view plaincopy to clipboardprint?

function fb_disable_feed() {

wp_die( __(‘No feed available,please visit our . get_bloginfo(‘url’) .‘”>homepage!’) );

}

add_action(‘do_feed’, ‘fb_disable_feed’, 1);

add_action(‘do_feed_rdf’, ‘fb_disable_feed’, 1);

add_action(‘do_feed_rss’, ‘fb_disable_feed’, 1);

add_action(‘do_feed_rss2′, ‘fb_disable_feed’, 1);

add_action(‘do_feed_atom’, ‘fb_disable_feed’, 1);

When I teach people about CSS, I always begin by telling them that good CSS can only exist with equally good HTML markup. A house is only as strong as its foundation, right? The advantages of clean, semantic HTML are many, yet so many websites suffer from poorly written markup.

Let’s take a look at some poorly written HTML, discuss its problems, and then whip it into shape! Bear in mind, we are not passing any judgment on the content or design of this page, only the markup that builds it. If you are interested, take a peek at the bad code and the good code before we start so you can see the big picture. Now let’s start right at the top.

1. Strict DOCTYPE

If we are going to do this, let’s just do it right. No need for a discussion about whether to use HTML 4.01 or XHTML 1.0: both of them offer a strict version that will keep us nice and honest as we write our code.

Our code doesn’t use any tables for layout anyway (nice!), so there really is no need for a transitional DOCTYPE.

Resources:

W3C: Recommended DTDs to use in your Web document

Fix Your Site With the Right DOCTYPE!

No more Transitional DOCTYPEs, please

2. Character set & encoding characters

. Let’s go ahead and move it up so that the browser knows what character set it’s dealing with before it starts reading any content at all.In our section, the very first thing should be the declaration of our character set. We’re using UTF-8 here, which is swell, but it’s listed after our

While we’re talking about characters, let’s go ahead and make sure any funny characters we are using are properly encoded. We have an ampersand in our title. To avoid any possible misinterpretation of that, we’ll convert it to
&
instead.

Resources:

Wikipedia: UTF-8

A tutorial on character code issues

The Extended ASCII table

3. Proper indentation

All right, we are about three lines in and I’m already annoyed by the lack of indentation. Indentation has no bearing on how the page is rendered, but it has a huge effect on the readability of the code. Standard procedure is to indent one tab (or a few spaces) when you are starting a new element that is a child element of the tag above it. Then move back in a tab when you are closing that element.

Indentation rules are far from set in stone; feel free to invent your own system. But I recommend being consistent with whatever you choose. Nicely indented markup goes a long way in beautifying your code and making it easy to read and jump around in.

Resources:

Clean up your Web pages with HTML TIDY

4. Keep your CSS and JavaScript external

We have some CSS that has snuck into our section. This is a grievous foul because not only does it muddy our markup but it can only apply to this single HTML page. Keeping your CSS files separate means that future pages can link to them and use the same code, so changing the design on multiple pages becomes easy.

This may have happened as a “quick fix” at some point, which is understandable and happens to all of us, but let’s get that moved to a more appropriate place in an external file. There is no JavaScript in our head section, but the same goes for that.

5. Nest your tags properly

The title of our site, “My Cat Site,” is properly inside

tags, which makes perfect sense. And as per the norm, the title is a link to the home page. However, the anchor link, , wraps the header tags. Easy mistake. Most browsers will handle it fine, but technically it’s a no-no. An anchor link is an “inline” element, and header tags are “block” elements. Blocks shouldn’t go inside inline elements. It’s like crossing the streams in Ghostbusters. It’s just not a good idea.

6. Eliminate unnecessary divs

I don’t know who first coined it, but I love the term “divitis,” which refers to the overuse of divs in HTML markup. Sometime during the learning stages of Web design, people learn how to wrap elements in a div so that they can target them with CSS and apply styling. This leads to a proliferation of the div element and to their being used far too liberally in unnecessary places.

In our example, we have a div (”topNav”) that wraps an unordered list (”bigBarNavigation”). Both divs and unordered lists are block-level elements. There really is no need whatsoever for the

to be wrapped in a div; anything you can do with that div you can do with the
.

Resources:

Divitis: what it is, and how to cure it.

7. Use better naming conventions

This is a good time to bring up naming conventions, as we have just talked about that unordered list with an id of “bigBarNavigation.” The “Navigation” part makes sense, because it’s describing the content that the list contains, but “big” and “Bar” describe the design not the content. It might make sense right now because the menu is a big bar, but if you change the design of the website (and, say, change the website navigation to a vertical style), that id name will be confusing and irrelevant.

Good class and id names are things like “mainNav,” “subNav,” “sidebar,” “footer,” “metaData,” things that describe the content they contain. Bad class and id names are things that describe the design, like “bigBoldHeader,” “leftSidebar,” and “roundedBox.”

8. Leave typography to the CSS

The design of our menu calls for all-caps text. We just dig how that looks, and more power to us. We have achieved this by putting the text in all-caps, which of course works; but for better, future extensibility, we should abstract typographic choices like this one to the CSS. We can easily target this text and turn it to all-caps with {text-transform: uppercase}. This means that down the road, if that all-caps look loses its charm, we can make one little change in the CSS to change it to regular lowercase text.

9. Class/id the

By “class the body,” I literally mean apply a class to the body, like . Why? I can see two things going on in this code that lead me to believe that this page has a layout that is different than other pages on the website. One, the main content div is id’d “mainContent-500.” Seems like someone had a “mainContent” div at one point and then needed to alter its size later on and, to do so, created a brand new id. I’m guessing it was to make it larger, because further in the code we see <class=”narrowsidebar”> applied to the sidebar, and we can infer that that was added to slim down the sidebar from its normal size.</class=”narrowsidebar”>

This isn’t a very good long-term solution for alternate layouts. Instead, we should apply a class name to the body as suggested above. That will allow us to target both the “mainContent” and “sidebar” divs uniquely without the need for fancy new names or class additions.

Having unique class and id names for the body is very powerful and has many more uses than just for alternate layouts. Because every bit of page content lies in the “body” tag, you can uniquely target anything on any page with that hook; particularly useful for things like navigation and indicating current navigation, since you’ll know exactly what page you are on with that unique body class.

Resources:

ID Your Body For Greater CSS Control and Specificity

Case study: Re-using styles with a body class

10. Validate

Kind of goes without saying, but you should run your code through the ol’ validator machine to pick up small mistakes. Sometimes the mistakes will have no bearing on how the page renders, but some mistakes certainly will. Validated code is certain to outlive non-validated code.

If for no other reason, seeing that green text on the W3C validator tool just makes you feel good inside.

Resources:

The W3C Markup Validation Service

XHTML-CSS Validator

Free Site Validator (checks entire site, not just one page)

11. Logical ordering

If it is at all possible, keeping the sections of your website in a logical order is best. Notice how the footer section lies above the sidebar in our code. This may be because it works best for the design of the website to keep that information just after the main content and out of the sidebar. Understandable, but if there is any way to get that footer markup down to be the last thing on the page and then use some kind of layout or positioning technique to visually put it where you need it, that is better.

12. Just do what you can

We’ve covered a lot here, and this is a great start to writing cleaner HTML, but there is so much more. When starting from scratch, all of this seems much easier. When trying to fix existing code, it feels a lot more difficult. You can get bogged down in a CMS that is forcing bad markup on you. Or, there could be just so many pages on your website that it’s hard to think of even where to begin. That’s OK! The important thing is that you learn how to write good HTML and that you stick with it.

The next time you write HTML, be it a small chunk in a huge website, or the beginning of a fresh new project, just do what you can to make it right.

Also some of them who like your blog can turn into regular visitors, thus increasing your daily traffic. It is to get these types of visitors for whom the Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is important.

2. Regular visitors: These types of visitors get accustomed
to seeing Adsense or other ads on your site and are hence less likely to contribute less as far as ad-clicks are concerned. However they are important

for a number of reasons. Whatever algorithm google uses to determine the importance of a page, whether be it backlinks, or number of active feeds or whatever, it is an ever improving and a secret algorithm. But I think that the fact itself that a site has regular visitors, is likely to eventually contribute to the importance of your site in the eyes of Google. Some of these regular visitors may themselves have a blog and may provide you backlinks, others may tell their friends about your site, etc.

It is a matter of tremendous patience to start from a blog having initially no visitors and reach a stage where you have a constant flow of visitors contributing to your Google Adsense or blogging income. I suggest, in order to keep your motivation (especially for new bloggers) you set goals. For example:

1. Goal 1: Write 25 quality posts on chosen relevant topics.
2. Goal 2: Get 100 unique visitors to your blog. For a very new blog, this may take at least a month or two or maybe even more.
3. Goal 3: Get to a stage where you get 10 visitors arriving from search engines.
4. Goal 4: Get a Google Adsense account. (may require your site to be six months or older)

and so on... you can chalk out your own plan.

For me, going from zero to five daily visitors was more difficult than going from five to fifty. At the time of writing this post I am getting around 100 unique daily visitors and about 200 page views. It is a good idea to install some counters to track statistics of your website. I recommend either Statcounter.com or Sitemeter.com

You have to write information which is useful. For this you must actually have knowledge of what you are writing, or the very least, be willing to first gather substantial knowledge before writing a post. In other words you must first have something which you would like to optimise. Let me tell you my experience. This is the third blog I have started on investing and personal finance. The first two blogs came before my actual investing experience. They were not successful and later I deleted them. But when I started this third blog, I actually had some experience, knowledge about online trading, demat accounts, mutual funds, etc. So i knew exactly what I had google searched for, what information is difficult to find, etc. That made my task of choosing the content much easier. You must know or at least be willing to find substantial information about majority of posts you write. Otherwise i think its a waste of time.

The role of Keywords: It is important to keep one or two keywords in mind while writing every post. For example
, suppose you plan to write some posts on Mutual Funds. Instead of writing 10-15 general posts, each touching every aspect, it would be much much better if each post focussed on one or a group of related keywords. You must also learn to tastefully sprinkle your keywords throughout your post. The number of meaningful occurences of a keyword is extremely important in Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). Almost equally important is the number of occurences of keywords which are closely related to your chosen keyword. Here is a simple tip to get a list of keywords related to your chosen keyword: Go to Google Insights for Search. Type your keyword. At the bottom of the page, google will show you Search terms related to the keyword you typed. If a meaningful inclusion of those related keywords in your post is possible, please make an attempt. Another way to find related keywords, is to actually do google search using that keyword and variations and google will give a list at the bottom of the page. Or you simply one or two other top-ranking posts on that topic to get an idea.

Interlinking your posts: After choosing a topic, and writing different posts on it, each focussing on a group of related keywords, it is important to interlink your posts. For example, if the keyword of one of the posts appears in another, make a link. Also, you should make an attempt to make those links more meaningful. For example, if a page is pointing to a Gold-price chart make a link which says Gold Price Chart instead of something vague like "click here". When search engines analyze a page content it is possible they also analyze the content of the links provided on that page. How exactly this helps in Search Engine Optimisation is difficult to say quantitatively. But another advantage of interlinking your posts is you increase the time each visitor spends on your page. By providing relevant links, you encourage her/him to click on them and thus spend more time. Providing extremely relevant external links is also a good habit. Try to put a "Related posts" link after each well written post or you could also put it in between the post wherever relevant using "Also Read: ***" template.

Choosing a title for your posts: It is very important to choose a catchy, yet relevant title for your posts. It is important that the main keywords for your post appear in your title. It is worth spending a couple of minutes to actually think of a suitable title. The reason for this is when your post appears on google search page, the viewer is going to decide which site to click on mainly based on the title (and a short snippet below it, this google automatically selects). As an example: A title like "Make money by investing in Gold" is better than "Gold investing". It is also important to keep the title short. Because google will display your post title, ony upto a limited length on its search webpage. As an exaggerated example if your post title is "The one and only famous post which gives guidance for how to invest in gold" then probably google will just cut short and the title actually visible people doing google search will be "The one and only famous post which give guidance" the rest will be cut. Also: Do not change the title of your posts or your blog title frequently. Changing a title seems to have a negative impact on search engine ranking and may result in sudden decrease of traffic.
