Although I have never done business with them myself, anyone who is thinking of buying from Doxy Lingerie might want to think twice. I came across this posting at diamondpolechick. Apparently they have been known to not ship you anything after you've made a purchase & then they don't respond to your inquiries about the order. Lingerie buyers beware!

While browsing one of my favorite online lingerie stores I noticed something quite intriguing on the side bar of the home page. The Red Door is offering $250 cash plus 1000 customer loyalty points (i.e. free lingerie, hosiery, adult novelties or anything else that strikes your fancy) for posting your own top 5 sexy resolutions for 2008 on your blog.

I will without a doubt be entering this contest (it makes for a good blog post even if I don't win). Making New Year's resolutions is one of my least favorite things to do, but this might intrigue me enough to start thinking about them...

The Best Portland Lingerie Botique

My favorite lingerie store in Portland, OR is undoubtedly Oh Baby. I've never visited their website before now and am sad to say that it doesn't even begin to do their boutique justice. The main reason that I think they are a superior lingerie store is simply their superb customer service. From a simple opinion to finding something that fits just perfectly, the Oh Baby staff is always there to make sure that you walk out with exactly what you want.

Also, if you sign up for their e-mail list they will not only let you know about sales, but they also through evening lingerie shopping parties that are a blast! The last one that I attended had Patron Tequila tasting to introduce a new line of lingerie.

One of these days I'm going to go in for a corset fitting & choose the style and fabric for a custom English made corset that they offer. It takes a few weeks to be made and will run you about $200 depending on the style, but is likely well worth it.

It's Time for Mrs. Claus!

About a year ago I hosted a "sexy cliche character" party for a friend's birthday. Now I thought that this would certainly be an easy costume for any attendee to come up with. After sending out invitations I got a call or email from almost everyone that was invited asking what a "sexy cliche character" was. Is there no one out there with a little imagination? No adventurous couple with a few sexy costumes hidden away in their closet?

Well I certainly wasn't going to let that stop my sexy party! Being the middle of December the sexy Mrs. Claus costume was first on my list. I bought a sexy little Mrs. Claus dress, a pair of white fishnet thigh highs, a red garter belt, and a sexy pair of strappy red sandals. Having never indulged in the whole sexy Mrs. Claus thing I had a blast wearing my costume to the party (especially since half of the people who came didn't dress up at all).

My sexy christmas outfit has since been retired to the closet of things that I rarely wear. After putting up with 12 months of my boyfriend slyly suggesting that maybe the Mrs. Claus costume ought to make another appearance I am finally in the Christmas spirit. So once again it's time for wrapping presents, making more food than you can eat, spending time with family, and of course indulging in those forgotten Christmas fantasies!
