We are pleased to inform you that the Scout Association of Japan is organizing the 11th Nippon Agoonoree – National Camp for Scouts with Special Needs. The Agoonoree will be held at Kibougaoka Cultural Park, which is located in Shiga Prefecture, some 50km northeast of Osaka. Please see Annex A for the details of the programme and the criteria for participation.

As part of the celebration of their 100th Anniversary the Mauritius Scout Association (MSA) will be organizing the above mentioned Jamboree. The jamboree will be held at beach of Belle-Mare which is one of the finest and most beautiful beaches in Mauritius. Please be informed that the Scout Shop and General Office at our Headquarters, Bishan will be closed from 8.30am to 4.00pm for ADIJI CHIEF SCOUT on this Sat 25th February 2012.

Business will resume as usual from 4.00pm to 6.00pm.

February 22nd marks the birthday of Lord Robert Baden-Powell the founder of the Scout Movement. Coincidentally, B-P (born in 1857) and his wife Olave Baden-Powell (born in 1889), shared the same birthday.

Nearly all National Scout Associations throughout the world, celebrate this day as « Founder’s Day ». It is considered a special day, as well as an opportunity to learn more about BP’s life and his work. His Writings remain inspiring to many and incredibly on phase with our times.

The course is opened to Unit Leaders and Rovers who have completed the Unit Leader Training Induction Course.
New Leaders and Rovers who have signed up for Unit Leader Training Induction Course 2012 ( 1st and 2nd Intake) may also apply for the course.
