I actually went on opening day, but didn’t have the time to stand in line (I’m a VERY busy guy, you see…) so made an appointment with Anthony’s PR guy, Ahsha, and came back. I was there on Thursday of last week and got to go behind the counter and taste three of his cookies and interview the cookie man himself. The goal was to hit up a pâtisserie called <strong><a href="http://www.ferrybuildingmarketplace.com/miette.php">Miette</a></strong>, to try some of their <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macaron"><strong>Macarons</strong></a> (which is the correct spelling, despite my giving the sales associate a hard time – these are not to be confused with macaroons…). I tried the hazelnut macaron, the pistachio macaron and some sort of rose-flavored macaron. Pretty tasty stuff!
