With the rumours of the return of one of the iconic and first poker websites, PokerRoom.com many players and popular poker news websites are wondering about the potential return of the site and what the cryptic messages from the operators at bwin really have to say about the potential return of the poker site.

The first cryptic sign that appeared was a tweet from SEO manager at bwin, which stated the website was going to be back up and running for poker players to once again enjoy. After only a day of being available, the tweet was recanted and questions, rumours and comments were not addressed by bwin, or any of the operators of the website.

After the tweet was released, it was confirmed from sources that the website operators were indeed open to the idea of re-opening the website for players to choose their favourite poker room games, but there was no full confirmation that the website would be reopening, or an indication of when the website would be reopened.

After the website had been under construction for days, another message began to appear when visitors clicked over to PokerRoom.com that indicated the website was down for maintenance, rather than the under construction message that had been previously present. The maintenance message has been on PokerRoom.com for nearly two days, into the first day of 2012 and there is still no confirmation or information that has been made available regarding the website and whether PokerRoom.com is going to be back for customers to deposit their money and play the real money poker games online.

Could the new message that states the site will be back up and running as soon as possible indicate that there is going to be something new coming sooner than we think to PokerRoom.com? What’s your take on the status of PokerRoom?

While the Philippines is still looking its first Olympic gold medal, international bowling legend Paeng Nepomuceno is rallying for his beloved sport to be officially included in the biggest athletic event in the world.
“Bowling will always be my preferred sport,” says the globally renowned sport icon. “At this point in my career, more than winning competitions or receiving awards, what I ultimately want to achieve is to make bowling sport in the Olympics.”
Bowling is one of the most widely played sports in the world with at least 100 million people from all continents regularly engaging in it. However, the fun bowling gives becomes a downside because it is often viewed as leisure or recreation rather than an athletic endeavor. “Bowling is truly an Olympic sport. It entails mental and physical precision, superior hand-eye coordination, unwavering muscle memory and tremendous stamina and endurance,” he enthuses.
“Just like any other athlete, a bowler needs to be in tip top shape to remain competitive, “quips Paeng. “Personally, I watch my diet and follow a regular exercise regimen to achieve optimal health.” Paeng recalls that a few years back, he agreed to be photographed shirtless to show his toned body to convey the message that bowlers are indeed, athletes that need to stay fit and healthy.
Paeng runs and cycles to improve his stamina and lifts weights to increase his strength. With regard to his diet, he stays away from fatty foods and makes a conscious effort to eat healthy.
The journey for bowling to be recognized as an official Olympic road may still take time, but with passion and good health in tow, Paeng is determined to make the biggest strike in his career.

Jason Kidd has quite a few remarkable qualities as a basketball player. He has a fierce competitive edge that gives him that extra push to keep going even during stressful times. Also, he is a remarkable team player and has the instinct of helping his team mates and does whatever possible to keep the team together and put up a good fight before going down.

He has been a long time student of the game and has learned many important skills throughout that time that have lead him to being the highest paid point guard in the NBA.

He adds the touch of profession and fascination to all the games he plays which makes the games he plays interesting to watch and he has gained a large audience from that.
Some might deny that every team he has joined has done significantly better and worse after his departure.
He earns a whopping $21.37 million.

He is a very well established player that has earned a spot on the Hall of Fame.

1. Go out dancing with the girls! Stir up some cosmos and get your groove on on the dance floor!
2. Go galactic bowling. It’s glow-in-the-dark and really fun. They have cool music, yummy food and of course, take some good company!
3. Have a potluck. Call up some friends and agree to each make a dish and bring it to your house. Turn on the radio, put up some streamers and have dinner over laughter.
4. Go out to eat. Choose a place like Applebees or somewhere and order a bunch of appetizers. Catch up on one another’s lives and enjoy your evening.
5. If all fails, just rent some movies, pop some popcorn and enjoy a quiet night at home, cuddled under the covers.

Without humour, life really sucks. Which girl wants a date with an extremely wonderful boring guy who opens his mouth only for eating?
Sickness, Stress, pain, poverty, suffering, hatred, wickedness etc all sucks a great deal of life out of us. But none of these is to be compared to the damages that lack of humor can cause in our life. Imagine when LIFE itself becomes the SUCKER. In this article are those things that can make you live a humorous and fulfilled life.

Looking for the best element of every situation: No matter what the situation is, no matter how bad it is, an element of fun and humor must be present in it. Observe little children. However poor, miserable, unhappy, wicked, uncaring etc their parents are, they still find good thing in them and hold them to a very high esteem. They see great things in their parents. If we learn to look for wonderful things in every situation we find our self, we will discover that sooner or later, humor will naturally find us.

Assuming the worst scenario: Think of what could possibly be the worst outcome of every situation. And prepare yourself to shake off the shock that it will bring. What this will do for you is that it will make you heave a sigh of relief. As you have already anticipated the possible worst outcome. If things eventually turn out to be good, fine!. Note that i am not saying we should be pessimist, No what i am saying is that you should make a mental picture of the worst outcome and get ready for it.

Be in constant search of opportunity to make people laugh: There is a natural law of ’causes and effects’. What this means is that when you carefully and curiously look for ways of making people laugh, you end up discovering that you will laugh at some of the things you do and this way, life goes on with more HUMOR.

Associate yourself with happy, motivated and Humorous people. Humor is just as contagious as success is. Happy and Humorous people are everywhere, mix up with the right gathering. Places like Religious places, social places, entertainment places or even game houses can do.

In whatever you do,just remember that this life is too short for anybody to spend even a single second without enjoying it to the fullest. Actively look for the things that will help you Get Motivated, Stay Motivated and Enjoy life to the fullest.

When I was still a young boy, I was involved in a number of sports – swimming, soccer, basketball, bowling, martial arts and even baseball. Every two months, in secondary school, we would have a new sport as part of our Physical Education class. I was more amazed with schoolmates who excelled in a number of sports representing our school in inter-school competitions, and even our country in junior level competitions. They soon graduated to the national team and brought a lot of honor to our country.

Sports have many positive things to offer us, especially our children. Here are some of the positive things that I learn from participating in a sport:

Helps in developing discipline. Participating in sports instills in the youth the value of discipline, both on and off the playing arena. Discipline is needed to understand the sport – its rules, regulations and the overall dynamics of the game; to encourage staying within a system – the sports’ system, the coach’s system or the administrator’s system; and to prepare oneself for competition physically and mentally. As sports instill discipline, sacrificing is inevitable.

Facilitates learning from mistakes. Any given sport a great mentor, especially when you lose. Being in such situations spark in oneself a motivation to learn from what happened that led to a loss. It helps us to understand better the things around us and to overcome obstacles as they are presented. It helps us give the mindset to move on from where we are.

Provides mental and physical toughness. As we participate in sports and dwell on it, we learn to be stronger mentally and physically. Mentally, we condition ourselves to be the best in that sport so we can perform accordingly. Physically, we prepare ourselves so our body can do what we have in mind.

I watch sports on television and most of the time; I get to watch basketaball games, billiards or baseball. I also watched tennis games in the past but I was not really very interested at that time.

When my hubby bought a PSP slim, he installed Virtua Tennis there and that’s when I got to play the game. It is a cool game because you get to play with famous tennis players and against them as well.

Whenever there is a doubles match, I always choose Roger Federer because he’s an all-around player and whenever he’s my partner, we never lost a game. And through that, I learned to appreciate the sport more. There are a lot of trainings in the game and activities to improve serving, footwork, volleying, and others. I also got to understand the scoring more and the terms of the game. It looks fun to play and it got me excited to watch actual tennis games on tv.

With the recent tennis tournaments, I was rooting for Federer to win but of course, Rafael Nadal was also a force to reckon with. I’m just more inclined to idolize the former because we are teammates in PSP LOL. I will have to watch more games so that I can get familiarized with the other personalities and not just the famous ones. I’ll be sure to be on the lookout when I am channe-surfing.

Manny Pacquiao is one of the famous boxer of this time. In the Philippines he was even considered hero for winning all his fights. The good thing whenever he got a fight the criminal rate in the country was always zero. No records of crime was being done. Another was there was no traffic in the long road of EDSA. Like today, Sunday June 27,2008 here in the Philippines, many Filipinos were waiting on his fight with David Diaz. All eyes were on the television waiting and cheering for their hero. Even President Gloria Arroyo was thankful to Manny Pacquiao for putting so much pride in Filipino nation. Manny is really a good boxer and as he says before in an interview, “if its only possible to have a fight everyday just to avoid the criminals in doing bad then he’s willing to fight”. What a heroic act of him if it will happen. Goodluck on you fight Manny! Do make a new record again.

Former Oklahoma pitcher David Purcey has learned plenty in his two big league starts this season, including when to push himself and when to throttle back.

He was back at Triple-A Syracuse by the following morning but with a lesson learned. For each spot start, Toronto made it clear he wasn’t going to stay, a fact that made the experience harder.

“It’s more of a comfort to know that if you do well, you have a spot in the rotation,” he said. “For me it was spot starts and I was just overthrowing, trying to do too much.”

Purcey hasn’t been called up since, but he’s getting closer to sticking around when the next opportunity comes. He was a first-round pick in 2004 and has steadily developed his pitches since leaving OU.

“In college it was basically a fastball and a curve,” he said. “Since then I’ve developed a slider and a changeup. That’s sometimes hard for fans to see, but I know I’m a much better player now.”

Purcey is 6-6 with a 2.96 ERA and 93 strikeouts for Syracuse this season. Like most Triple-A players, he has no clue when his next big league shot might come.

“We’ve got five starters that are pitching pretty well,” he said. “It’s out of my hands. I know when it does happen I’ll be more comfortable. I know less is more for me, and as long as I go out and do my job it’ll work out.”

•Kozma enjoyed All-Star game: Former Owasso shortstop Pete Kozma played in the Midwest League All-Star game last week. Kozma is in his second year in the Cardinals’ farm system and is hitting .324 this month.

“When you get a chance to play in something like that it shows that other people are seeing you develop and recognizing it,” he said. “It was a thrill to get to be around some of the guys drafted the same year as me and to see how they’re coming along.”

•Towles struggling: This time a year ago, Houston catching prospect J.R. Towles was a nearing his major league debut, during which he hit .375 with one homer in 40 at bats. Big things were expected as this season started, but Towles hit just .145 and was sent down June 6. He missed three of Round Rock’s four games with the RedHawks this week and is hitting .234.

“I’ve been struggling a little bit trying to get my mechanics in,” Towles said.

“I’m thinking about getting my swing down. When I get that down they told me they would be up there. I had a lot of different people telling me different things. Not that they were wrong, but it was kind of mental overload.”
