Illicit Privileges

One thing I love when thinking about all the arguments from the left is that it always comes down to money. Not just money though, other people's money.

We need funding for Planned Parenthood, we need funding for welfare benefits, we need funding for green energy, we need funding for whatever. But it's always other people's money.

So then the common response from the right is, "well if you care so deeply for these programs why don't you just fund them yourself?"

Next comes the response from the left which is, "well I don't have the money to fund it cuz I barely scrape by. That's why the wealthiest should have to pay more cuz they don't need all that money."

Thus continues the vicious cycle of argument. Meanwhile the rest of us are sitting here thinking, well yeah I want people to have health care, I would love to see a world with cheaper, more efficient renewable energy, of course I don't want to see people go without food or a home, but I need to concern myself with my own needs too.

If you are so concerned with white privilege, male privilege or any other privilege then I ask that you look in the mirror for one second. Do you have everything that you want? Are you exactly where you want to be in life? Probably not, but do you have the things that you need in order to survive? Do you find a way to keep a roof over your head? Do you find a way to put food on the table? Are you able to heat your home? If yes, then you my friend are in fact the beneficiary of some sort of privilege that others are not. So are you willing to give up your own privilege and give it to someone else? Are you willing to pass on your own so called illicit privileges so that someone else can be lifted up from the depths? Probably not. You would rather someone else give up what they have earned in order for others to succeed but you are not willing to give up your own stuff.

It's easy to be a voice for change. It's easy to stand up on a milk crate and shout for justice. But when all you're doing is shouting for other people to give up their privileges and hard earned money, but you aren't willing to give up what you have, you are nothing more than a hypocrite.

I do not like Donald Trump, I never have and I probably never will, but when he says "put America first" he's saying we need to get our priorities in order. So take that to an individual level. Put yourself and your families first. Then when you have control of your own issues, reach out to your communities. Then your state, then your country. If people focused more on themselves and took care of themselves we wouldn't be constantly asking for more from the wealthiest among us.

You cannot tax a society into prosperity, it has never worked. I'm seriously tired of having this same conversation.

Is Ted Cruz Another Shifty Politician

I have, for the last four years, closely followed Ted Cruz while he has stood up against not only the Obama administration but also the Republican establishment. He has been unwavering in any stance he has ever taken. He has been mocked constantly by everyone in Washington DC and in the media. People in his own party have called him wacko, a liar and I'm sure many things not spoken publicly.

I have said for awhile now, but especially during the primaries, that the reason I have so much admiration for Ted Cruz is that he has a complete commitment to the constitution of the United States. He has defended the constitution for decades inside and outside of Washington. He never stood alongside his party or what was popular just to get along. George W Bush didn't like him because he stood alongside the constitution against then president Bush in the Supreme Court on a case involving a rapist who was going to be sent back to Mexico. My point in all of this is that Ted Cruz has never been one to do what is popular, he does exactly what his morals guide him to do and his morals are imbued with God and our constitution.

On Friday, September 23rd, Senator Cruz released a statement on Facebook saying that he would be voting for Donald Trump on November 8th. I would be lying if I said this didn't upset me. Throughout the primary Donald Trump attacked him, his wife and his family. Why would Ted Cruz back a man as disgraceful as Donald Trump? Why would a man who is so deeply rooted in his convictions and conscience dare vote for a man as deplorable as Donald Trump? Well I think the question kind of answers itself.

His decision was based on six separate issues that he listed out:

The Supreme Court
The Affordable Care Act
Energy
Immigration
National Security
Internet Freedom

In his explanation he lists his reasoning, Hillary Clinton will be detrimental to all six of the issues when it comes to the constitution. He does not state that Donald Trump will be good, he simply states that Hillary will be horrible. This has been the argument of Trump supporters ever since he won the nomination. Hillary Clinton sucks and Donald Trump could be better.

Let me say this clearly, I don't believe that at all. I don't believe that a man who supports stop and frisk or ignoring due process by allowing people on the no fly list from owning a gun could possibly protect the 2nd amendment. Just look up Senator Ted Kennedy and how long it took him to get off the no fly list, then come back and have a conversation with me about how the no fly list is 100% full proof. I don't believe that a man who thinks that the government should be involved in child care, particularly only child care for married couples, would do anything to shrink the size of government. I could go on and on but this isn't supposed to be about Donald Trump, this is about Ted Cruz.

My point for mentioning those two issues with Trump is to state that I don't think Ted Cruz is blind to that at all. I think he knows how terrible Donald Trump would be, but his conscience is telling him a few things on this, let me explain.

First I must preface by saying that because Ted Cruz has been rooted in the constitution his whole life, I have been able to know his stance on a number of issues before he has even had to weigh in on them. I knew that his stance on gay marriage was that the federal government should not be involved and that it should be left up to the states to decide before he was ever asked publicly about it. If you understand the constitution, you understand the opinion of Ted Cruz when it comes to policy.

I think that Ted Cruz is playing chess and the rest of America is being forced to play checkers. I've written about this before and I believe wholeheartedly that this is exactly what is going on. One of two things is going to happen on January 20th 2017. Either Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton are going to be sworn into office. Only an act of God can change that reality. For the last four years Senator Cruz has been pounding his head against the wall standing up for the constitution and our individual rights. He has been facing an administration that has blocked him constantly and a Republican party that has cast him aside at every turn. He was more successful at defending our freedoms outside of Washington than he is on the inside, despite his many successes.

I work customer service and I try to imagine going to work every day and not only being attacked by my customers, but also by my coworkers. This is an unbelievable scenario, but it is a scenario that Senator Cruz has faced basically every day. He didn't support Mitch McConnell as the majority leader like some tea party senators did. He didn't support the gang of eight bill on immigration the way that some senators did. He stood alone for 21 hours and 19 minutes fighting against the affordable care act and all that people remember is him reading a bedtime story to his two little girls.

From the day Ted Cruz announced he was running for President to the day he dropped out he was on his own. He didn't have the support of the media the way Donald Trump did. He didn't have the support of the Republican establishment the way Jeb Bush, then Marco Rubio and eventually Donald Trump did. He had people like me, people like some of you, that's it. Still he came in second, he put up an incredible fight. We kept him in the race, we kept him standing and we got him within arm's reach of being able to debate Hillary Clinton and go on to win the presidency. But it wasn't enough.

On July 20th, Ted Cruz told America that come November, we need to vote our conscience and to vote for those that we felt would best serve the constitution. After that statement he went back to work serving the people of Texas and America. He has been standing against this administration in regards to Internet freedom. Then on September 23rd he came out and said that his conscience is telling him that the best option we have right now in regards to the constitution is Donald Trump. Unfortunately I think that conclusion is correct. Gary Johnson is not exactly a constitutionalist and Jill Stein is, well, not important. Your vote on November 8th is not a binary choice. Despite us having multiple options, only one of two people will win, so while the choice is open ended the outcome is in fact binary.

Now that I've spent all this time explaining what's been going on, let me finally get to where I think Ted Cruz is at today. The media has spent four years trying to make Ted Cruz look like a damned fool. Every opportunity they have had they've taken to hit him. Have you noticed that there isn't a firestorm about Ted Cruz coming out saying that he will vote for Trump. Chess instead of checkers.

The establishment Republicans have been trying to tear him down and force him to “play the game” for four years. And despite this constant wall they've been building, he tore through it and proved to them that he has the support of more Americans than any other person they put up there, besides Donald Trump which they didn't believe in to begin with. By coming out and saying that he will vote for Trump he has shown the establishment that he will “play the game” but it's his game, on his terms. Chess instead of checkers.

If Donald Trump wins in November, we will have a Republican, kind of, in office that Ted Cruz can work with even if only a little. He will have a better opportunity at passing legislation that helps serve the constitution and the American people than it would if Hillary is in there. Chess instead of checkers.

If Hillary Clinton wins in November, Ted will have to spend another couple years fighting the same battle he has been, but he will be able to say that he was right about who the best person to beat Hillary Clinton was. He will be able to say that Donald Trump was not the guy, even with the backing of the media during the primaries and the backing of the establishment during the general. Ted Cruz is in fact the best man at this time for defeating Hillary and defending and upholding the constitution of the United States. And in 2020 when he runs against her in this scenario, that is exactly what his message will be. Chess instead of checkers.

Regardless of who wins in November, our country is in for a rough time. It is so important that we remember each other and come together at this time. It is so important that we don't keep dividing ourselves into groups because we can't distance ourselves during a time of need. I believe that this is the final reason Ted came out the way he did in his support of Trump. He knows as much as you and me that we are going to need each other.

If Trump wins, the Trump supporters, the tea baggers and the moderate Republicans are going to need to band together to face whatever storm is coming our way in regards to the economy and national security.

If Hillary wins, these same people will need to come together and destroy Hillary Clinton in 2020.

I have not lost any respect for Ted Cruz based on his decision to vote for Trump and I believe that's because I am not taking it personally. Ted has a job to do, he's never been power hungry, he's never been naive. He's always been Ted and the Senator still has work to do. I for one will continue to support him until he goes against the constitution, not when he goes against my vote.

Continue the good fight Senator Cruz and keep playing that game of chess for the people of America.

The Demise of the Republican Party

I've been thinking a bit about this presidential election, specifically the Republican party, and I've thought up a relatively good analogy for what's going on.

Imagine that the leaders in the Republican party are the coaches of a football team and the talking heads and shills for the party are the fans in the bleachers. We the people who believe in the founding principles and the constitution are the players in this game. It's the fourth quarter and there's about 10 minutes left in the game.

The coaches are in our faces screaming insults:

"Line up and do what I say!"

"Get off your ass and do your job!"

"What the f*** are you thinking!"

"I will kick your ass personally if you don't do as I say!"

"You're part of the problem!"

"If we don't win I will hold you personally responsible and you will be dead to me!"

The fans are also mimicking the coaches and spitting in our faces and putting us down. This is the epitome of abusive behavior. A spouse that puts the other into submission or a parent doing the same to a child does nothing positive for those one being abused. Right now the millennials are the children watching this happen and wanting to distance themselves from every one involved.

What's worse is this is only a pre season and even if our team wins we will start the actual season divided from the leadership. The coaches and the fans care only about winning the game, no matter the cost. But the people who actually have to play the game are disenfranchised and looking for different leadership.

When this election is over and all the dust has settled we will have to find a way to come back together and move forward as a nation. This will not work well for the Republican party no matter who wins. If Donald Trump wins, he will have the full support of 15% of the country. Some people will support some of his agenda but a very small percentage will support him fully. If Hillary Clinton wins, the Republican party will become even more hostile to those of us that stood against them. Us "teabaggers" and those of us that stuck to our "conscience" will be attacked in full force. Even the talking heads will come after us because they "have a black belt in karate."

I am so disappointed in the Republican party for the way it's acted recently and sickened by the fact that they are doing exactly what so many on the left have accused us of for years. Things that people like me have stood firm against and told the other side that they didn't know what they were talking about. I apologize for not seeing these actors in my own party. I've spoken out against some, but it's obvious now that I didn't speak out enough.

I am not part of this "alt right" that's being talked about lately and I know I'm not alone in this. To all of the millennials watching all this take place, I want you to know that me and many others like me don't believe in this process. We are better than this.

When this game ends and the real season starts we are going to have to find a way to come together and replace our coaches or change their hearts. This is not the America I've studied my whole life. Alexis de Tocqueville said:

"America is great because she is good. If America ceases to be good, America will cease to be great."

We are standing at the edge of the cliff people, and if we refuse to grab hold of each other and stand together, we will all watch each other fall over the edge.

Hillary Clinton's Emails

I know I'm probably gonna get some crap for this but I've been doing some thinking on the whole Hillary Clinton Email drama. I'm not now nor have I ever really been very passionate with the whole epidemic that is Hillary Clinton's private email server. I think the only way I would get upset is if we found out that Hillary emailed information about Ambassador Chris Stevens being in Benghazi at a compound on September 11th 2012 and that there was proof that the server was hacked and that information led to the attack. But that's just it isn't it? There's no proof that her server was ever hacked.

FBI director James Comey said that she was careless by using a private server and even she admitted that she probably shouldn't have, but no one, and I mean none of us, even knew she had the damn server until a year and a half ago. She hasn't worked for the government for three years. Now I'm not making excuses for her because you all know my dislike for her, but nothing happened. This is seriously all smoke and mirrors. Hillary allowed a stupid scandal to draw out so that she could control it. She knew that if she deleted stuff and pushed the limits on withholding information, we would stay focused on the issue. She was waving something shiny in her right hand while she was manipulating other things with her left hand. She was playing chess while the rest of us were playing checkers.

Here we are, over a year later, and the only thing we can throw around is that the private server was careless. At this point, what difference does it make? I'm no expert but in order to hack something, you must first know that it even exists. Nobody outside of her circle even knew about it. In the meantime hackers have gotten into the NSA, CIA, FBI, DNC and any other acronym you can think of. All with state of the art firewalls and protection.

Like I said, I am in no way trying to defend her, but seriously we need to get past it. The substance of the emails are what's important, not the emails themselves, but the right has pissed off the left so much discussing the server that no one wants to listen about all the information inside the emails. In the meantime we have allowed two absolutely destructive people to be the front runners in the presidential election. Congratulations America, way to be easily distracted yet again. God help us.

Playing Chess

Too many people today play checkers instead of chess. We all want immediate gratification and refuse to look 5 moves ahead. Checkers is easy to sit down, learn and play. All the pieces move the same way and the ultimate outcome is work to one end and then you end up moving backwards. Chess requires patience, understanding and skill. Almost every piece has its own role and purpose and the goal is to outwit your opponent and put them on the defensive.

Just incase you were wondering, yes this is going to be political. If you supported Donald Trump at any point in the primaries, you were playing checkers. You were looking for immediate gratification. If you would have looked at the polls, he lost against Hillary Clinton over and over and he lost by a larger margin than most other Republicans in the race. Now that the conventions are over and he is the nominee, many people are now looking at the polls and finding some excuse as to why he's losing so badly. If we were playing chess we would have chose John Kasich because he was the only one that beat her regularly. I didn't care for Kasich's policies but he had the best chance to win at the time. I also have to add that Ted Cruz outperformed Donald Trump by 8 points in the polls against Hillary Clinton during the primaries. Ironically, Trump is losing to Hillary by 8 points in the polls today. Checkers, instead of chess...

During the primaries Donald Trump got the equivalent of $3 billion in free media coverage. People loved seeing him and hearing whatever his message was and suffered the fate of immediate gratification because they thought this free love from the media would continue. However, after he became the nominee the media immediately did what many of us knew they would do, they turned on him. Now people are attacking the media based on their negative coverage of him. Checkers instead of chess...

So many people supported a self proclaimed socialist, despite not even understanding the ins and outs of Socialism, only to see that Mr. Sanders wasn't exactly the guy he was believed to be. A man of the people, for the people. Never sacrificing his principles for big money or big corporations. Then he took a private jet as payment for his endorsement of Hillary Clinton and later bought a $600k vacation home with your hard earned donation money. He played his role in Socialism well though, he took from the little guy and showered himself with riches. He was playing chess while others were playing checkers...

I'm playing the long game. I'm scared to death of what the next few years will hold. Standing by my principles and values and not accepting that any of us actually have a real "win" in our future in regards to these two candidates. Supporting one candidate solely based on wanting the other candidate to lose is not a real win. When Ted Cruz spoke at the RNC and said that we should all “vote our conscience up and down the ticket” he took a lot of heat from those who want Hillary to lose under any circumstance. Senator Cruz might take a hard hit for this, he could lose his senate seat in 2018, but he is willing to sacrifice his position based on his own morals.

I might be completely wrong in my opinion of Donald Trump, he might win and be the greatest president ever. If he does, I will eat crow. I will be nailed left and right for being a fool for sticking to my principles and choosing not to back such a flawed candidate. Worst case scenario though, Donald Trump wins and does an amazing job as president, I'm okay with that. Otherwise we end up with Hillary Clinton and we most certainly lose many of our liberties. Either way we lose, but we can still be winners in all this. Principles above party. Policy above person. Don't lose who you are, no matter you're principles. Have the hard conversations with others. Be humble enough to admit fault and hear the other side. Stop looking for immediate gratification and start dealing with the hard truth in order to actually fix the problems we face today.

Stop playing checkers and learn to play a good game of chess…

Real Leadership

A leader and a manager are two very different things. It's the difference between compassion and authority. Some people know how to lead through inspiration and some people can only manage through force and fear.

I believe today that Americans are looking to be inspired by real leaders, not bullies. We thirst for role models and people who are humble, not people who never take responsibility for their own actions and think that only they can fix our problems.

What follows is something that I heard from a man named Simon Sinek. He is a motivational speaker who gives speeches about leadership. If you've never heard of him I suggest that you search YouTube and watch some of his videos.

Here's an excerpt from one of his speeches:

I heard a story about a former Under Secretary of Defense, Jeff Haden, who gave a speech at a large conference. He took his place on the stage and began talking, sharing his prepared remarks with the audience. He paused to take a sip of coffee from the Styrofoam cup he'd brought on stage with him. He took another sip, looked down at the cup and smiled.

"You know," he said, interrupting his own speech, "I spoke here last year. I presented at this same conference on this same stage. But last year, I was still an Under Secretary," he said.

"I flew here in business class and when I landed, there was someone waiting for me at the airport to take me to my hotel. Upon arriving at my hotel, there was someone else waiting for me. They had already checked me into the hotel so they handed me my key and escorted me up to my room. The next morning, when I came down, again there was someone waiting for me in the lobby to drive me to this same venue that we are in today. I was taken through a back entrance, shown to the green room and handed a cup of coffee in a beautiful ceramic cup. "

"But this year, as I stand here to speak to you, I am no longer the Under Secretary," he continued. "I flew here coach class and when I arrived at the airport yesterday there was no one there to meet me. I took a taxi to the hotel, and when I got there, I checked myself in and went by myself to my room. This morning, I came down to the lobby and caught another taxi to come here. I came in the front door and found my way backstage. Once there, I asked one of the techs if there was any coffee. He pointed to a coffee machine on a table against the wall. So I walked over and poured myself a cup of coffee into this here Styrofoam cup," he said as he raised the cup to show the audience.

"It occurs to me," he continued, "the ceramic cup they gave me last year . . . it was never meant for me at all. It was meant for the position I held. I deserve a Styrofoam cup.

"This is the most important lesson I can impart to all of you," he offered.

What a lesson to be learned. Much like the office of President, all the luxuries that are afforded by that office do not belong to you. They belong to the office and when you leave, the white house, air force one and all the other things a president gets will be passed on to the next person who takes your place.

A leader knows this. A leader lives their life understanding this and passes that knowledge on to the next person. As a manager, you are no better than those you manage, you might be able to do their job more efficiently than them, but that does not make you better than them. A real leader develops those around them, inspires those that they lead to reach for the stars and gives people the tools necessary to excel at everything they do.

So why am I writing all this? Well that's simple, our country needs leaders. This general election provides us with no real leaders and we have to accept that we lost. Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump will be the next president, but they are not leaders, they are authority figures. As a nation we will not be inspired by them, we will not be encouraged by them to reach for the stars and they will definitely not be giving us the tools necessary to excel at anything we do. They will enter office, live in the white house, fly on air force one and sit behind the resolute desk in the Oval Office thinking the whole time that all of that belongs to them.

We have to stop fighting about who will be a better leader because neither one of them are leaders. We need to start talking to each other instead of at each other. We need to start listening to each other instead of just waiting for our turn to speak. We need to find our similarities and accept our differences. We are great people, but divided we are weak. When people can come together as one we can overcome anything.These power hungry people know that, that's why they are working so hard to keep us divided.

Let's all be that leader that we are looking for and let's start inspiring each other. Otherwise the next four to eight years are going to be painful and I fear we will not be able to mend it.

Last Thoughts Of The Day On Cruz vs Trump

Okay this is the last thing I'm gonna say about the whole Trump/Cruz thing. If Cruz had come out and endorsed Trump everybody would be talking about what a hypocrite he was and how he finally bowed down to the man who beat him or how it's about time he fell in line. There was literally no winning for Ted Cruz when it comes to those who support Donald Trump, willingly or not.

But where Ted Cruz did win is where he stuck to his heart and his love for our country and simply stated that we should vote up and down the ticket, meaning all elections from Congress to dog catcher, using our own conscience. If you think Donald Trump is the guy, if you're conscience says to vote for him, then you should. Only when you open up your mind will this make sense to you the way that it makes sense to me.

Everyone else fell in line with Trump and it really hasn't worked out much in their favor. Ever since Ted Cruz won Alaska you can see that Donald hasn't done much in terms of promoting Sarah Palin. Ben Carson got ridiculed. Renee Ellmers, congresswoman from North Carolina was the first member of Congress to support Trump and she lost her primary in June. And the list goes on and on.

I'm proud of Ted Cruz and I'm proud to say that I supported him from the very beginning. Not because I thought that "he" would make our nation great again, but because I knew he would allow "us" to make our nation great again. I'm looking for a humble leader, not another power hungry man. I've had enough of that these last 8 years, why would I want it any more?

A Great Storm Rising

The truth of the matter is this:

When Ted Cruz said to vote your conscience at the convention he got booed, but there was also quite a bit of cheering in that stadium. Donald Trump has spent the last year giving speeches to groups that love him, that believe in him. He has seen a swarm of red hats in these crowds. He has heard he's the greatest every single day and it has only grown his ego. When Ted Cruz didn't endorse him it hurt his pride. That's all this is. Today he is acting like someone who was embarrassed by lashing out and bringing up bogus accusations that he knows are false.

My opinion is this:

Donald Trump got ahold of Ted Cruz's speech beforehand and probably expected that Ted would go off script and endorse him in the end. He probably figured that Ted didn't put his endorsement in the script because he didn't want it to leak out that he was endorsing him. Then when Ted said what he said and didn't endorse him, Trump witnessed first hand a large group of people erupt in cheers. His pride was hurt and now he is reacting like a kid in grade school.

Ted Cruz is not the nominee. Ted Cruz will not be president in 2017. But Ted Cruz has done nothing wrong here. Last night Donald Trump spoke like and acted like a dictator. The crowd even chanted "Yes you will!" I'm not gonna go into any more detail on the matter here. I want so badly to be wrong about this man, but he still, even after winning the nomination, has done nothing but prove me right. We have the choice between a power hungry man who exhibits signs of a dictator and a power hungry woman who shows signs of incompetence. Some of you fear one of these two candidates, I fear them both.

You might think I'm blinded by my love for Ted Cruz, but I say you're blinded by your fear of the other candidate. May God have mercy on us all, because no single person can accomplish great things without stepping all over the goodness of others.

Truth and Unity

An entire generation has been raised on the idea that no matter what, you shouldn't be left behind. An entire generation has been given an award not only for doing what they should have been doing in the first place, but also just for trying. An entire generation has spent their lives being told what to do, how to do it and never pushed to think for themselves.

My mother raised me to question everything, never settle, never accept an excuse and more importantly never make an excuse. Accept responsibility for your actions, always tell the truth, no matter the consequences. If people don't like what you have to say, if they are offended by your opinion, then they didn't understand you to begin with.

We trained children to learn what they needed in order to pass the test, only to allow them to forget the information immediately after. We offered degrees in studies that were never going to be productive for the sole purpose of graduating. We gave extra credit in order to make up for where we were lacking, only to give a false sense of hope in the real world.

This generation I'm speaking of is the generation that gave us Occupy Wall Street, black lives matter and an election where a self proclaimed socialist and a narcissistic ideologue were really popular. This generation, because they focus mainly in groupthink, is looking for someone to lead rather than being leaders themselves. They are looking for the strong man or the one willing to take on the problems without looking at the substance. Socialism isn't the answer these kids actually want, the substance of Socialism isn't relative to their cause. Fighting government, fighting wall street, fighting big business are all great lines, they're all great ideas. Unfortunately, instead of looking at how to fight it, they are jumping on the train with the first person who says they'll do it. It's all about the “what” and never about the “why” or “how.”

If I say that capitalism has lifted more people up from squallier or that a free market is the best way for you to be the ambassador of your own life, I am told that crony capitalism is what put us in this mess in the first place. Yes, you're right, but what is crony capitalism? Crony capitalism is where one organization or business is too big to fail. It's when a company can do what it wants, charge what it wants and force you into a position where you have to buy or support them because there is no alternative. That's Socialism people. It all comes round full circle and you're being sold a lie because you are unwilling to think for yourself. The very people that are selling you this lie are the people you support and they're doing it in a way where you are blindly walking into their trap like cattle to the slaughter.

The most frustrating part is not only were you taught that you should get whatever you want, you were also taught that no one should be able to offend you. No one should be able to tell you that your opinion is wrong. Well that's just childish. That's truly an immature frame of mind. You have the right to speak your mind, but you do not have the right to never be offended. This goes two ways though. This means that in order for two parties to have a constructive dialogue we must first be willing to listen.

Your life, the events and people in your life, influence your ideology. The views and beliefs in which you are firmly rooted did not spontaneously develop. They are the result of influence from our life experiences and the people that surround us. At times we find ourselves persuaded by someone else's opinion. These persuasions may grow within us and feel as though they are strong, but I promise you they are not. These persuaded opinions are easily toppled over when hit with the truth and the facts and they will fall over as easily as a rootless tree. When this happens we feel cold, dark, lost, betrayed. When something we thought was true, something that we felt sympathetically flow through our veins as reality is suddenly disproved, we feel anger. This anger is what leads to so much pain that we see across the faces of society today, which is why we must always search for the truth. We must question everything we are told because only after something has been pushed to its limits and boldly questioned, will we know how real it truly is.

I ask you, what is more important, truth or freedom? Freedom is essential to being successful in everything you set your mind to. Freedom is the only way anyone can fulfill their dreams, that they can truly pursue their own happiness. But what is freedom without truth? How can you be free in a world of lies. Do you think that a social safety net that forces you to continue the vicious cycle of living within a dictated means is freedom. Do you think starting your life fifty thousand dollars in debt is freedom? Do you think living your life depending on handouts means that you're pursuing your happiness? Maybe it does, maybe depending on someone else and never being the ruler of your own life makes you feel fulfilled. I say that you've sold yourself short. I say that you've settled for something less because someone told you that you weren't good enough, strong enough, smart enough.

I ask you another question. What's more important, unity or diversity? I'm America, we are a melting pot. We are a diverse group of people of different colors, cultures, beliefs, ideas. We are a nation that relies on recognizing our differences and utilizing these differences to create opportunity. But what is diversity without unity? It's division, it's separation. It's recognition of our differences, instead of recognition of our similarities. We are more alike than we are different. Do not listen to what the TV or the radio tells you. It seems today that we focus more on what divides us, than what holds us together.

Do you want an end to corruption? Do you want to be the ambassador of your own life? Do you want to make a difference in this world, big or small? Do you want to know that every life matters, including your own? So do I. It's time that we stop focusing on our differences. It's time that we stop dividing ourselves into groups. It's time that we start focusing on what's true in life. We have to look past the “what” and focus more on the “why” and “how.” You are an amazing person with great potential, not only because greatness resides in you, but because you live in a country that allows you to pursue whatever goal you set for yourself. But only you can set your own goals, no one can set them for you. A goal set by someone else is their own goal, not yours. Be your own ambassador, be your own leader. Because if you're waiting for the next Ronald Reagan, or Martin Luther King Jr, or George Washington, then you are destined to live a long, fruitless life.

Be your own leader. Search for truth. Inspire those around you, be that inspiration. Freedom without truth is not freedom at all. United we stand and divided we fall.

Ferguson: My Heart Goes Out To The Families

My heart goes out to the two families involved in the shooting a week ago in Missouri...

I feel so bad for the family of Michael Brown who asked for an end to the rioting and looting when it first began... That is not how you grieve for the loss of a loved one or a friend... No parent should have to bury their child, but if they do, it should be handled with grace and dignity... This young man's memory will forever be muddied with looting, rioting and violence...

I feel so bad for the family of the officer involved because their very lives are now in danger... Local media released their address and photos of their home... The officer involved will most likely be forced to relocate due to the fact that his life will forever be in danger from what seems now to be false allocations... Not to mention the fact that taking someone else's life in self defense is bound to come with so many emotional side effects...

Now that the media, the NAACP and the black panthers have made this a national epidemic we will most likely see this go to court, just like the Trayvon Martin incident... The officer involved will now have to prove that there was no racism involved in what happened which truly is despicable... Having to dig yourself out from under the rock of racism is absolutely abhorrent and today is almost impossible... I've been there and no matter how you state your case, the other side will find any way possible to dismiss you and tear you down...

On the other hand, the family of Michael Brown will have to sit and listen to the other side tear down their own son as a thug, a drug user, and whatever else will be brought up to prove that this officer was acting in self defense... His family will have to go through the year long pain of grieving through the burial, then the first Christmas, first birthday, first every other holiday without him to then have his name dragged through the mud in order to prove the officers innocence...

This whole thing is sad and every news report, every tweet, every pic posted by us has added to the pain...

My heart goes out to the families who every day lose someone from senseless violence... A child riding their bike in the front yard who is hit by stray drive by shooting bullets... Stupid gang shootings... And all other unnecessary violence... Where's the outcry for them? Where's the activists shouting in the streets to put an end to this violence?

We need to judge the facts and not the emotion... We need to act in love and compassion and not react to senseless hate... These families need our prayers today, not our angry voices because they have a long, hard road ahead of them and I feel nothing but sadness for what's to come...

Ferguson: Jumping To Conclusions

I've stayed rather silent on the recent events in Missouri for many reasons... The number one reason being that we have no idea why the boy was shot... Perhaps it was that a racist cop acted stupidly and shot him for being black... Perhaps the boy attacked the cop and force was used to stop him... Bottom line is, we just don't know...

As of today we know that this boy robbed a convenience store, was approached by an officer and was shot dead in the street... A week ago we knew nothing other than a boy was shot by a cop... No why, no how, no facts... Yet people took to the streets, looted stores in their own community, fired shots at police officers, threw molotov cocktails and rocks and in response cops used tear gas and rubber bullets to push people back...

The big names have joined the protesters, Al Sharpton, the NAACP, the black panthers and even president Obama spoke on the situation...

There is so much hate, so much anger and so much misinformation involved in these situations that it truly hurts my heart... I will never understand what it feels like to be a black man growing up in this country... I will never understand what it's like to be ridiculed for the color of my skin... But I will also never know what it's like to ridicule someone for the color of their skin because it has never been in my heart to do so...

I don't understand why a group of people would believe that they are oppressed or held down for their race or gender when none of that exists today...

A woman like Hilary Clinton stands in front of a microphone and tells women that they need to stand up for equality and not allow men to be a ruling class, yet she is a very powerful woman... Rich, successful and powerful...

A man like Al Sharpton or even president Obama stands in front of a mic and says that there is racial inequality, yet both hold powerful, successful positions, one has the most powerful position in the world...

Look at a woman like Oprah... By all accounts of this agenda she should be the most oppressed minority in our country, she's a woman and she's black... Yet she is probably one of the most powerful women in the world...

Instead of race baiting and fanning the flames, why can't people like them just explain how they overcame the obstacles they claim exist? Why not educate the people who believe their every word? Imagine the change that would come...

Our previous generations wanted their children to be more successful than they were and they taught their children that through hard work, dedication and strong minds they could achieve whatever they put their minds to... Today we still want that for our children, but we try to remove the hard work... We think that it should be easy... We try to remove the strong minds by lowering expectations... We try to remove the dedication by giving everyone a trophy just for showing up...

We have to change our hearts... There are always going to be bad people in this world, there are always going to be people who want to hold you back or tear you down... It's up to you to stand tall and overcome... You... Not an organization, not a great speaker... You...

This situation in Missouri is sad, but so are the senseless killings on our streets every day... Bad people make bad choices every day... Good people make bad choices every day... We have to be part of the solution, not part of the problem... The only way to do that is to change our hearts... To strengthen our minds... And to empower ourselves to be dedicated to ourselves and each other...

We Are All In This Together

We are living in a time where nothing really seems to make sense anymore. Up seems down, right seems wrong. Some of us try to live by principles while being surrounded by a society that rejects principles entirely. We are told that God does not belong in certain places and shouldn't be recognized unless it's a specific god. We are told that the morals and values that can be learned from the scriptures are insulting while at the same time we are told that radical Islam is an offensive term and Jihad is just a peaceful tenet of Islam.

Many of us have either turned ourselves off from the political ramblings and a lot of us stayed out of it all together. We are all so tired of the constant banter and insults that we keep our opinions hidden. I DON’T BLAME YOU FOR THIS.

What upsets me is that so many of us stick to the party or the person. We trust the talking heads to tell us what we want to hear, we listen to Chris Matthews, Al Sharpton, Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh or even Glenn Beck because they make us feel good. They tell us what we want to hear and we simply trust the words coming out of their mouths without ever actually looking into anything ourselves.

I have been trying so hard to spread truth, I have tried so hard to get people to open their minds and look past the parties but I have been mostly speaking only to those who agree with me. I have about 25 thousand followers on twitter and I can almost guarantee that all of them follow me because we lie on the same side of the spectrum. Who does this help? What does this change? Nothing. Speaking about racial segregation to an audience that contains only black people does not further your cause. Speaking at the podium of a pro choice event that has an audience that contains nothing but advocates for your cause does nothing. Holding an anti-Obama rally with nothing but Tea Party Patriots does nothing to challenge the status quo.

My point is this, if we look past the blanket narrative and the political party and look at each issue individually for what it is, we will more often than not agree on the matter at hand. In today's world everything seems to happen so quickly. Information is literally in the palm of our hand. Anything you want to know can be found in an instant, but too many of us look for information in the same places that tell us what we want to hear. We only look at the headlines and search for only those opinions that are in line with our own. We must stop this nonsense. There are some serious issues on the table today and for both sides, if we are only looking at the narrative being spewed we will all fall to the same painful level. You cannot look at a rose without recognizing the thorns, much like you cannot look at a news story without seeing the underlying message.

In 2003 President Bush sent us into Iraq because "the best information we had" told us that there were weapons of mass destruction there. Apparently we were wrong and so many of us still to this day blame President Bush and his ignorance for this faulty intelligence. However when our consulate in Benghazi was attacked we were told that "the best information we had" told us that it was because of a YouTube video that no one had ever heard of and we imprisoned the creator for a year. We know now for a fact that this wasn't true, but who is being called ignorant, who is being held accountable? I agree with all of you who say we should have never gone in to Iraq in the first place. I agree with those of you who say that we should have never believed that we should be nation building across the world. Does that shock you? Do you believe me? You should. I believe that America should focus on our issues at home, and if a terrorist group decides to fly a plane into a building here at home then we should launch a dedicated strike and blow them to pieces. Then come home and focus back on our own nation. You hit us hard, we'll hit you back harder, but we wont try to make you into something you don't want.

We have been told that Global Warming is destroying our planet and that we have to take certain expensive steps to alter this path. If you disagreed with this narrative you were labeled a denier or a person who hated our planet. Now that we know that our planet has been on a global cooling trend for the past twenty plus years, what happens? They change the label for Global Warming to Climate Change and deniers are still ridiculed. President Obama steps into office and says that he's going to "Stop the rise of the oceans" and take every step possible to fix this problem, but without thinking things through he gave half a billion dollars to a solar panel company that failed to construct a single panel and then files bankruptcy. Where is the outrage here? Through the EPA the president has decided to close 30% of our power plants that put off emissions that are "dangerous" for our planet. Did any of you know that last winter, during the extreme cold front, we were one power plant away from a total melt down? All power plants on the east coast were running at full capacity and if one plant had gone down there would have been total devastation. Now we're going to shut down 30% of those plants, what happens if this winter is anything like the last? How are you going to warm your home? In this issue the rose is the possible cleansing of our air by lowering emissions and the thorns are the repercussions.

Yesterday democrats handpicked four ex-administrators of the EPA to testify on our current issues and all four of them testified that there was no truth in President Obama's recent climate change narrative. Who's talking about it? No one seems to care.

Look at how we are treating our veterans today. We close down the memorials last year and barricade them out for political attention. Look at what's going on in the hospitals today. What happen to those of us that said we don't support the war but we do support our troops? How can we do this to the men and women that only did what our country asked of them? If our children take out the trash because we asked them to, we give them an allowance, but when solders fight for us because we ask them to we treat them with such disrespect.

Back in 2009 President Obama allowed a prisoner to be released in Iraq named Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi. Does that name sound familiar? When we released him he turned to his captors and said, "I'll see you in New York." This is the man that is now leading ISIS, the group that is taking over Iraq, killing and beheading innocents, has over 2 billion dollars in its pocket, and is a group that even Al-Qaeda labels as "too extreme." Back to my original argument, President Bush put us in there and I wish he hadn't. President Obama pulled us out and I felt this was a mistake, given the fact that we had created a mess and we should have insured that our solders had not acted in vain. Now we have President Obama saying during a press conference that it was never his idea to completely pull out. What? He campaigned on ending that war, he promised to bring us home. How in the hell do we continue to buy the lies? Add on the fact that we just released five top officials from the Taliban from Guantanamo Bay. Do you honestly think their will was broken during their time in prison? Do you think we'll never hear from them again?

Let me end on this last story, The IRS Scandal. We were told that the IRS was not targeting Conservative groups, this proved to be a lie. Then we were told that it was coming from just one office in Cincinnati, this proved to be a lie. Next we were told that they also targeted Progressive groups along with Conservative groups, this was also proved to be a lie. Today we are told that the people that congress is investigating, including Lois Lerner, the former head of the IRS lost all their emails. Apparently their computers crashed and all their hard drives were damaged and then recycled. Are any of us still buying this crap.

Now here's why I want EVERYONE to pay attention to this. Why do you think that we aren't getting to the bottom of this? Why do you think that a special investigator hasn't been assigned to this scandal? Republicans have control of the house right now and they could assign one if they wanted. So why haven't they? Ready for this? It's because they want this power. They want this control, and some day, maybe soon, they will have the presidency and both houses of congress. Do you honestly think that they wont abuse this power themselves? Does that worry you? Imagine the side that opposes you silencing your voices.

The reason I'm saying all this is to try to get you to understand that we are all on the same side. America should have listened during the signing of the Patriot act. The same act that President Obama signed into continuation and then expanded with the NDAA. America should have listened when we were told that we shouldn't put boots on the ground in the middle east, now were staying in Afghanistan and put troops back in Iraq. Now I ask you to listen when I say that government overreach and control will lead to nothing good. President Obama surrounded himself with people that understand how to manipulate the minds of the American people. He had psychological experts who knew that the best way to get things done is to make things personal. Why do you think that every time you disagree with the actions and policies of the Obama administration you are labeled as a racist or a hater of the President himself? They made everything personal because they know that America is sensitive to personal attacks. Enough is enough.

We are all Americans and we have all been led astray. When you break a story down to the facts, we will agree more often than not. Find common ground with opponents. Let go of the hatred for politics and policies. Actually have discussions with those that disagree with you and find that common ground, because it truly does exist. Give it a try, because if we don't try to come together we will continue to fall together. We need this nonsense to stop. Progressivism does not progress the American people, it only progresses the strength and overreach of the government and it exists in both parties. The Progressive movement was started by Theodore Roosevelt, a republican, and has grown for the last hundred years in both parties. Let's start by looking at each other not as black or white, not as male or female, not as gay or straight, not as republican or a democrat, but as an American. Let this be our foundation and through faith, virtue and knowledge, lift ourselves out of the anger, out of the madness, out of the oppression, and into the light, back to the shining city on the hill that spreads hope to the world.

Man Sets Himself On Fire In Washington DC

In 1963, Buddhists had split with the government of South Vietnam. A Buddhist monk, Thich Quang Duc, doused himself with gasoline and set himself on fire in Saigon, creating one of the iconic images of the Vietnam War. The incident drew international attention.

On December 17, 2010, a local street vendor in Tunisia named Mohamed Bouazizi set himself on fire, and triggered a political crisis in that country. This act ultimately caused the Arab Spring which set the middle east on fire. President Obama compared this man to Rosa Parks and the Arab Spring to the civil rights movement.

Yesterday an unidentified man in Washington DC walked onto the National Mall, doused himself in gasoline and set himself on fire. No motive is yet known.

Given the fact that history always repeats itself, yesterdays event must not be taken lightly. Perhaps this man was just deranged, but to ignore this event and its possible motives would be dangerous.

I pray for the safety of all my loved ones... I pray for the safety of the United States... Most importantly, I pray that God will guide us through what is to come and grant us the wisdom to help ease the suffering...

The Importance Of Independence Day

I had an interesting revelation last night while watching fireworks explode in the sky during the celebration of our nations independence. I debated whether or not I would even discuss my thoughts with you all, but I feel that it needs to be said. Let us start with how we view Independence Day in today's society. Most of us no longer call July Fourth Independence Day, we call it the fourth of July. This may seem small to some of you but I can not stress this importance enough. When you take the title away from the day, you strip it of it's meaning. It would be like calling Christmas Day the 25th of December. When you take away the title of the day you remove the significance of that day. What comes next? Progressively, over time, people forget why we celebrate the holiday, we forget about the brave men that stood for the very principles that we take advantage of every day and instead we use the day as a reason to party like college kids. When I hear people say, “I can't wait to get home today because I'm gonna get wasted,” it turns my stomach. Independence Day has gone from being a day of pride in American history to a day where we hold a nationwide frat party.

This brought me to the idea of pride in America, or lack there of. I began asking myself what could possibly cause us to forget why we celebrate our nations birth and why we have pride in our great nation. Obviously my mind went straight to President Obama. I have said many times before that President Obama could have been the greatest president this country has ever seen in the White House. Let's call a spade, a spade here. The first black president to hold this office could have brought this nation back together and restored honor in our hearts and minds. He has compared himself to Abraham Lincoln many times, but honestly he doesn't have the resolve or heart to stand even in Lincoln's shadow.

President Obama could have immediately shown the American people what it means to put our differences aside and stand together as “One Nation, Under God, Indivisible, With Liberty And Justice For All.” Instead, over the last five plus years his agenda and narrative has been nothing more than “Divide and Conquer.” How can we as Americans have pride in our nation when our President's own wife said back in February of 2008 that for the first time in her adult life she is finally proud of this nation. Don't forget that President Obama went on his apology campaign almost immediately after taking office and since then he has done so much in regards to racial and class warfare.

President Obama supported the Occupy movement which was nothing but class warfare. He supported the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt which caused huge divide not just here, but abroad. He went as far as saying that if he had a son he would look like Trayvon Martin which only fueled the fire in the race baiting of that trial. Just a few short years ago he stated that marriage should only be between a man and a woman, but then his views began to “evolve” and now he supports homosexual marriage. Not to mention the intimidation tactics of his NSA, IRS, and State departments. Too many people remain uninformed in these matters and think that Benghazi is a person rather than a place. My point of all this is how can we expect the people of this nation to be proud when so many of us remain silent and uninformed. Now that I think of it, I should have had a drink or two yesterday as well.

It's not just President Obama though. When was the last time that we had someone in the White House that we truly believed had great love for America and love for the founding principles. The most recent one that I can think of was President Ronald Reagan, but so many of us were too young to even remember his greatness in office, including me. We were not at a coherent age to understand his love for this country or his love for God, and it's this group that would rather get drunk on Independence Day than celebrate this day with pride.

This nation was founded as a Constitutional Republic, whereas We The People are in control. Not just of legislation, but of our core principles and morality. My point is that we can't expect our leaders to keep us moral when we refuse to do it ourselves. Besides we shouldn't even call them our leaders, we are not sheep to be led to slaughter. These elected representatives are us, they are just as much products of our society as we are. So how can we expect them to bring us together as Americans when we choose to stay silent and uniformed every minute of everyday. It's time to take some personal responsibility in this matter. It's time to educate, not turn a blind eye and just expect it to all work itself out. That's exactly what these leaders want you to do so that they can “Progressively, Fundamentally Transform” our nation into something that our founding fathers would despise.

Break the cycle and take a stand. Not to speak is to speak, not to stand is to stand. The only reason that you have the right to disagree with me is because that is a God given, natural right that many people, over 200 years ago, realized and put into our Bill of Rights. It's time to defend God, our founders and what they stood for, because that's exactly what our current leadership despises.

So next year on Independence Day, I ask that you educate those around you on the importance of that day. Between now and then I ask you to stay informed and together let's rebuild our nation into what it was founded to be. God bless you all, and God Bless America.

Our Civil Rights have been Progressively under attack for quite some time now. A movement is starting because We The People are beginning to open our eyes to it due to the many scandals we've seen since the start of this year. Amendment I

The Number of Representatives shall not exceed one for every thirty Thousand, but each State shall have at Least one Representative; and until such enumeration shall be made, the State of New Hampshire shall be entitled to chuse three, Massachusetts eight, Rhode-Island and Providence Plantations one, Connecticut five, New-York six, New Jersey four, Pennsylvania eight, Delaware one, Maryland six, Virginia ten, North Carolina five, South Carolina five, and Georgia three.

When vacancies happen in the Representation from any State, the Executive Authority thereof shall issue Writs of Election to fill such Vacancies.

The House of Representatives shall chuse their Speaker and other Officers; and shall have the sole Power of Impeachment.

Section. 3.

The Senate of the United States shall be composed of two Senators from each State, chosen by the Legislature thereof for six Years; and each Senator shall have one Vote.

Immediately after they shall be assembled in Consequence of the first Election, they shall be divided as equally as may be into three Classes. The Seats of the Senators of the first Class shall be vacated at the Expiration of the second Year, of the second Class at the Expiration of the fourth Year, and of the third Class at the Expiration of the sixth Year, so that one third may be chosen every second Year; and if Vacancies happen by Resignation, or otherwise, during the Recess of the Legislature of any State, the Executive thereof may make temporary Appointments until the next Meeting of the Legislature, which shall then fill such Vacancies.

No Person shall be a Senator who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty Years, and been nine Years a Citizen of the United States, and who shall not, when elected, be an Inhabitant of that State for which he shall be chosen.

The Vice President of the United States shall be President of the Senate, but shall have no Vote, unless they be equally divided.

The Senate shall chuse their other Officers, and also a President pro tempore, in the Absence of the Vice President, or when he shall exercise the Office of President of the United States.

The Senate shall have the sole Power to try all Impeachments. When sitting for that Purpose, they shall be on Oath or Affirmation. When the President of the United States is tried, the Chief Justice shall preside: And no Person shall be convicted without the Concurrence of two thirds of the Members present.

Judgment in Cases of Impeachment shall not extend further than to removal from Office, and disqualification to hold and enjoy any Office of honor, Trust or Profit under the United States: but the Party convicted shall nevertheless be liable and subject to Indictment, Trial, Judgment and Punishment, according to Law.

Section. 4.

The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof; but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations, except as to the Places of chusing Senators.

The Congress shall assemble at least once in every Year, and such Meeting shall be on the first Monday in December, unless they shall by Law appoint a different Day.

Section. 5.

Each House shall be the Judge of the Elections, Returns and Qualifications of its own Members, and a Majority of each shall constitute a Quorum to do Business; but a smaller Number may adjourn from day to day, and may be authorized to compel the Attendance of absent Members, in such Manner, and under such Penalties as each House may provide.

Each House may determine the Rules of its Proceedings, punish its Members for disorderly Behaviour, and, with the Concurrence of two thirds, expel a Member.

Each House shall keep a Journal of its Proceedings, and from time to time publish the same, excepting such Parts as may in their Judgment require Secrecy; and the Yeas and Nays of the Members of either House on any question shall, at the Desire of one fifth of those Present, be entered on the Journal.

Neither House, during the Session of Congress, shall, without the Consent of the other, adjourn for more than three days, nor to any other Place than that in which the two Houses shall be sitting.

Section. 6.

The Senators and Representatives shall receive a Compensation for their Services, to be ascertained by Law, and paid out of the Treasury of the United States. They shall in all Cases, except Treason, Felony and Breach of the Peace, be privileged from Arrest during their Attendance at the Session of their respective Houses, and in going to and returning from the same; and for any Speech or Debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other Place.

No Senator or Representative shall, during the Time for which he was elected, be appointed to any civil Office under the Authority of the United States, which shall have been created, or the Emoluments whereof shall have been encreased during such time; and no Person holding any Office under the United States, shall be a Member of either House during his Continuance in Office.

Section. 7.

All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills.

Every Bill which shall have passed the House of Representatives and the Senate, shall, before it become a Law, be presented to the President of the United States: If he approve he shall sign it, but if not he shall return it, with his Objections to that House in which it shall have originated, who shall enter the Objections at large on their Journal, and proceed to reconsider it. If after such Reconsideration two thirds of that House shall agree to pass the Bill, it shall be sent, together with the Objections, to the other House, by which it shall likewise be reconsidered, and if approved by two thirds of that House, it shall become a Law. But in all such Cases the Votes of both Houses shall be determined by yeas and Nays, and the Names of the Persons voting for and against the Bill shall be entered on the Journal of each House respectively. If any Bill shall not be returned by the President within ten Days (Sundays excepted) after it shall have been presented to him, the Same shall be a Law, in like Manner as if he had signed it, unless the Congress by their Adjournment prevent its Return, in which Case it shall not be a Law.

Every Order, Resolution, or Vote to which the Concurrence of the Senate and House of Representatives may be necessary (except on a question of Adjournment) shall be presented to the President of the United States; and before the Same shall take Effect, shall be approved by him, or being disapproved by him, shall be repassed by two thirds of the Senate and House of Representatives, according to the Rules and Limitations prescribed in the Case of a Bill.

Section. 8.

The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;

To borrow Money on the credit of the United States;

To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes;

To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization, and uniform Laws on the subject of Bankruptcies throughout the United States;

To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures;

To provide for the Punishment of counterfeiting the Securities and current Coin of the United States;

To establish Post Offices and post Roads;

To promote the Progress of Science and useful Arts, by securing for limited Times to Authors and Inventors the exclusive Right to their respective Writings and Discoveries;

To constitute Tribunals inferior to the supreme Court;

To define and punish Piracies and Felonies committed on the high Seas, and Offences against the Law of Nations;

To declare War, grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal, and make Rules concerning Captures on Land and Water;

To raise and support Armies, but no Appropriation of Money to that Use shall be for a longer Term than two Years;

To provide and maintain a Navy;

To make Rules for the Government and Regulation of the land and naval Forces;

To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions;

To provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining, the Militia, and for governing such Part of them as may be employed in the Service of the United States, reserving to the States respectively, the Appointment of the Officers, and the Authority of training the Militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress;

To exercise exclusive Legislation in all Cases whatsoever, over such District (not exceeding ten Miles square) as may, by Cession of particular States, and the Acceptance of Congress, become the Seat of the Government of the United States, and to exercise like Authority over all Places purchased by the Consent of the Legislature of the State in which the Same shall be, for the Erection of Forts, Magazines, Arsenals, dock-Yards, and other needful Buildings;--And

To make all Laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into Execution the foregoing Powers, and all other Powers vested by this Constitution in the Government of the United States, or in any Department or Officer thereof.

Section. 9.

The Migration or Importation of such Persons as any of the States now existing shall think proper to admit, shall not be prohibited by the Congress prior to the Year one thousand eight hundred and eight, but a Tax or duty may be imposed on such Importation, not exceeding ten dollars for each Person.

The Privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus shall not be suspended, unless when in Cases of Rebellion or Invasion the public Safety may require it.

No Bill of Attainder or ex post facto Law shall be passed.

No Capitation, or other direct, Tax shall be laid, unless in Proportion to the Census or enumeration herein before directed to be taken.

No Tax or Duty shall be laid on Articles exported from any State.

No Preference shall be given by any Regulation of Commerce or Revenue to the Ports of one State over those of another; nor shall Vessels bound to, or from, one State, be obliged to enter, clear, or pay Duties in another.

No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law; and a regular Statement and Account of the Receipts and Expenditures of all public Money shall be published from time to time.

No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State.

Section. 10.

No State shall enter into any Treaty, Alliance, or Confederation; grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal; coin Money; emit Bills of Credit; make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts; pass any Bill of Attainder, ex post facto Law, or Law impairing the Obligation of Contracts, or grant any Title of Nobility.

No State shall, without the Consent of the Congress, lay any Imposts or Duties on Imports or Exports, except what may be absolutely necessary for executing it's inspection Laws: and the net Produce of all Duties and Imposts, laid by any State on Imports or Exports, shall be for the Use of the Treasury of the United States; and all such Laws shall be subject to the Revision and Controul of the Congress.

No State shall, without the Consent of Congress, lay any Duty of Tonnage, keep Troops, or Ships of War in time of Peace, enter into any Agreement or Compact with another State, or with a foreign Power, or engage in War, unless actually invaded, or in such imminent Danger as will not admit of delay.

Article. II.

Section. 1.

The executive Power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America. He shall hold his Office during the Term of four Years, and, together with the Vice President, chosen for the same Term, be elected, as follows:

Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress: but no Senator or Representative, or Person holding an Office of Trust or Profit under the United States, shall be appointed an Elector.

The Electors shall meet in their respective States, and vote by Ballot for two Persons, of whom one at least shall not be an Inhabitant of the same State with themselves. And they shall make a List of all the Persons voted for, and of the Number of Votes for each; which List they shall sign and certify, and transmit sealed to the Seat of the Government of the United States, directed to the President of the Senate. The President of the Senate shall, in the Presence of the Senate and House of Representatives, open all the Certificates, and the Votes shall then be counted. The Person having the greatest Number of Votes shall be the President, if such Number be a Majority of the whole Number of Electors appointed; and if there be more than one who have such Majority, and have an equal Number of Votes, then the House of Representatives shall immediately chuse by Ballot one of them for President; and if no Person have a Majority, then from the five highest on the List the said House shall in like Manner chuse the President. But in chusing the President, the Votes shall be taken by States, the Representation from each State having one Vote; A quorum for this purpose shall consist of a Member or Members from two thirds of the States, and a Majority of all the States shall be necessary to a Choice. In every Case, after the Choice of the President, the Person having the greatest Number of Votes of the Electors shall be the Vice President. But if there should remain two or more who have equal Votes, the Senate shall chuse from them by Ballot the Vice President.

The Congress may determine the Time of chusing the Electors, and the Day on which they shall give their Votes; which Day shall be the same throughout the United States.

No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

In Case of the Removal of the President from Office, or of his Death, Resignation, or Inability to discharge the Powers and Duties of the said Office, the Same shall devolve on the Vice President, and the Congress may by Law provide for the Case of Removal, Death, Resignation or Inability, both of the President and Vice President, declaring what Officer shall then act as President, and such Officer shall act accordingly, until the Disability be removed, or a President shall be elected.

The President shall, at stated Times, receive for his Services, a Compensation, which shall neither be increased nor diminished during the Period for which he shall have been elected, and he shall not receive within that Period any other Emolument from the United States, or any of them.

Before he enter on the Execution of his Office, he shall take the following Oath or Affirmation:--"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

Section. 2.

The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United States; he may require the Opinion, in writing, of the principal Officer in each of the executive Departments, upon any Subject relating to the Duties of their respective Offices, and he shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offences against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment.

He shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States, whose Appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by Law: but the Congress may by Law vest the Appointment of such inferior Officers, as they think proper, in the President alone, in the Courts of Law, or in the Heads of Departments.

The President shall have Power to fill up all Vacancies that may happen during the Recess of the Senate, by granting Commissions which shall expire at the End of their next Session.

Section. 3.

He shall from time to time give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union, and recommend to their Consideration such Measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient; he may, on extraordinary Occasions, convene both Houses, or either of them, and in Case of Disagreement between them, with Respect to the Time of Adjournment, he may adjourn them to such Time as he shall think proper; he shall receive Ambassadors and other public Ministers; he shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed, and shall Commission all the Officers of the United States.

Section. 4.

The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.

Article III.

Section. 1.

The judicial Power of the United States shall be vested in one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish. The Judges, both of the supreme and inferior Courts, shall hold their Offices during good Behaviour, and shall, at stated Times, receive for their Services a Compensation, which shall not be diminished during their Continuance in Office.

Section. 2.

The judicial Power shall extend to all Cases, in Law and Equity, arising under this Constitution, the Laws of the United States, and Treaties made, or which shall be made, under their Authority;--to all Cases affecting Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls;--to all Cases of admiralty and maritime Jurisdiction;--to Controversies to which the United States shall be a Party;--to Controversies between two or more States;-- between a State and Citizens of another State,--between Citizens of different States,--between Citizens of the same State claiming Lands under Grants of different States, and between a State, or the Citizens thereof, and foreign States, Citizens or Subjects.

In all Cases affecting Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, and those in which a State shall be Party, the supreme Court shall have original Jurisdiction. In all the other Cases before mentioned, the supreme Court shall have appellate Jurisdiction, both as to Law and Fact, with such Exceptions, and under such Regulations as the Congress shall make.

The Trial of all Crimes, except in Cases of Impeachment, shall be by Jury; and such Trial shall be held in the State where the said Crimes shall have been committed; but when not committed within any State, the Trial shall be at such Place or Places as the Congress may by Law have directed.

Section. 3.

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.

The Congress shall have Power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted.

Article. IV.

Section. 1.

Full Faith and Credit shall be given in each State to the public Acts, Records, and judicial Proceedings of every other State. And the Congress may by general Laws prescribe the Manner in which such Acts, Records and Proceedings shall be proved, and the Effect thereof.

Section. 2.

The Citizens of each State shall be entitled to all Privileges and Immunities of Citizens in the several States.

A Person charged in any State with Treason, Felony, or other Crime, who shall flee from Justice, and be found in another State, shall on Demand of the executive Authority of the State from which he fled, be delivered up, to be removed to the State having Jurisdiction of the Crime.

No Person held to Service or Labour in one State, under the Laws thereof, escaping into another, shall, in Consequence of any Law or Regulation therein, be discharged from such Service or Labour, but shall be delivered up on Claim of the Party to whom such Service or Labour may be due.

Section. 3.

New States may be admitted by the Congress into this Union; but no new State shall be formed or erected within the Jurisdiction of any other State; nor any State be formed by the Junction of two or more States, or Parts of States, without the Consent of the Legislatures of the States concerned as well as of the Congress.

The Congress shall have Power to dispose of and make all needful Rules and Regulations respecting the Territory or other Property belonging to the United States; and nothing in this Constitution shall be so construed as to Prejudice any Claims of the United States, or of any particular State.

Section. 4.

The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened), against domestic Violence.

Article. V.

The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments, which, in either Case, shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as Part of this Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States, or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other Mode of Ratification may be proposed by the Congress; Provided that no Amendment which may be made prior to the Year One thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any Manner affect the first and fourth Clauses in the Ninth Section of the first Article; and that no State, without its Consent, shall be deprived of its equal Suffrage in the Senate.

Article. VI.

All Debts contracted and Engagements entered into, before the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be as valid against the United States under this Constitution, as under the Confederation.

This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.

The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.

Article. VII.

The Ratification of the Conventions of nine States, shall be sufficient for the Establishment of this Constitution between the States so ratifying the Same.

Done in Convention, by the unanimous consent of the States present, the seventeenth day September, in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and eighty-seven, and of the independence of the United States of America the twelfth. In witness whereof we have hereunto subscribed our names.

Oakland Youth Center

Today I found an article on Breitbart.com that surprisingly stood out to me among the rest. Within all the stories currently circulating about the seemingly never ending scandals involving the Obama administration, a story about a youth center in the city of Oakland, California took my attention. Apparently the amazing Progressive, left-leaning government in the great state of California put together, over 5 years, 7.6 million dollars to construct a youth center for troubled kids currently living on the harsh streets of the inner city. The facility is nearly complete with classrooms, offices and even a gymnasium. So how is it possible that the building might remain closed?

This facilities woes are a prime example of the failure of government involvement in the private sector. I found it amazing that the building that cost tax payers nearly 8 million dollars wasn't even constructed from the ground up. The building was originally a large Baptist church that was purchased by Oakland's District 3 discretionary funds for the price of $850,000. So here we have an already constructed building costing almost $1 million in itself, where did the other $6 million go. Perhaps all the added construction and renovation was done by union workers.

Now that the facility is near completion and set to open up this fall, the city has just realized that it cannot afford the $190,000 that it will cost to staff and run this building. How is it that you can take on a project like this, renovate the facility and begin advertising the need for such a program and forget to budget in the actual operating costs? The answer is simple, government does not know how to operate as a business, it never has and it never will. Government has no business in the private sector. Would Apple or Microsoft or even McDonald's purchase land, build a store, and advertise "Coming Soon" without taking into account what is necessary to operate its store after the building is complete. No! It's not good business.

Here's where this story took my attention. I recall President Obama during the 2012 Presidential Campaign preaching to a crowd in Roanoke, Virginia:

"If you've got a business – you didn't build that. Somebody else made that happen. The Internet didn't get invented on its own. Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet."

According to the President, its government research and infrastructure that provides opportunity for the American people. The American people apparently cannot accomplish anything without the help of its government. How does that line of thinking apply to this youth center in Oakland then? The government bought it, the government renovated it, the government advertised it, all with tax payer money. Now that its almost complete, the government can't afford to staff it. Mr. President, your government built the infrastructure with tax payer money, your government supposedly built the roads and bridges for people to get to the building with tax payer money, so why isn't anyone going there. Perhaps the government needs to stop looking to the line from Field of Dreams that says, "If you build it, they will come," and start listening to the American people that are actually engaged in these affairs.

Don't even talk to me about funding woes. Why is it that a charitable organization like Mercury One, which was founded by the much demonized Glenn Beck, can raise almost $2 million in less than a week through donations, to be spent to help those affected by the horrific tornado in Moore, Oklahoma. The government didn't raise that money. The American people banded together and gave generously to support a cause. Perhaps instead of holding concerts and events for elites at the White House to collect donations to fund whatever it is your funding, we could instead use that money for things like this facility. Maybe even use that money to put a much needed storm shelter in the one school in Moore, Oklahoma that didn't have one.

Bottom line, the American people need to understand that while our tax payer money can do some good, it is up to us to take some personal responsibility and get things done on our own. Our first roads and bridges that were built for the automobile were not built so that we could invent the automobile. They were built because a man like Henry Ford built an automobile. The cell phone, tablet, or computer that you are reading this on was not built because the government invested money into it. It was built because individual companies took advantage of the supply and demand of the American people. The government needs to start operating like a business, they need to stop spending more than they bring in, and they need to reinvigorate the American people by recognizing the success of the minds of individuals.

The Lies and Deceit of the Obama Administration

In the past couple weeks we have seen this administrations true intentions come to light. Scandal after scandal has plagued the headlines of every news outlet. Those of us that have done our best to expose the lies have been push up against the wall and constantly called conspiracy theorists, right wing nut jobs, racist, and many other derogatory terms that I will not mention. Some of us on the side of the truth have been smeared to a point of almost no return and I don't think any of us expect redemption. Honestly, we don't care about redemption, we only care about the truth and we have tried mercilessly to bring it to you every single day. Those on the other side have done all they could to label us as fear mongrels who desire nothing other than to make the left look bad. I started The Sounding Board with one purpose in mind: The Truth. If the truth makes someone look bad, that's not my problem. The job of the media is to expose the truth, not to suck up to whoever gives them more money or backroom deals. This has been forgotten.

I want to breakdown a few of the examples of truth that has been exposed in the past couple weeks. Please share this not just with those that see your point of view, but with those that have been blinded by the lies and deceit of this administration.

Associated Press Scandal

It has been revealed that the Department of Justice seized the phone records of over 100 journalists without them knowing. The main thing I want to focus on here is what this outrageous action truly means. We the people rely on reporters to give us facts based on investigative journalism. Sometimes their investigations depend on whistle blowers or people that want to remain anonymous do to the fear of backlash for exposing the truth.

How many times have you told someone, anyone, something that you didn't want exposed? How many secrets have you told someone that you only told because you knew that they wouldn't throw you under the bus? If you knew that someone was listening in on your conversation, would you have told those secrets? Most likely not.

So here's the problem, forget about the fact that this is a huge invasion of privacy, but this violates trust between journalists and sources. I will note that this invasion of privacy strengthened during the Bush administration with the Patriot Act, but it has been further empowered under the Obama administration with the introduction of items such as the NDAA. This administration has prosecuted more whistle blowers than EVERY administration before, COMBINED!

How will we ever get the facts if every possible source is afraid of being found out? Would you talk to a reporter today about something that is happening that you know is wrong, now that you know that the DOJ has the ability to listen in on your conversation without anyone knowing? Of course you wouldn't. This is TYRANNY! This is the tactic of intimidation and it has been pushed in full force by the Chicago Mob that now resides in the White House. Obama told us a week ago to reject the voices that cry out tyranny. Why do you think that is? This administration has intimidated its way to the top and it has continued its tactic of intimidation through the agencies under the direction of President Obama and the people he has appointed.

The IRS has been exposed for attacking conservative groups. I am not going to spend too much time discussing this because of the hearings being held and the fact that the media is doing a far better job covering this than I ever could. I will note that this is just another case of our government trying to weaken the resolve of those that see things differently than this administration. People like Glenn Beck, Mitt Romney, and many others have brought this to the attention of the public over the past couple years. Although this is not news to some of us that do our best to pay attention to things of this nature, it has become a huge talking point as of late, due to the main stream media finally jumping on board.

The main thing that needs to be taken away from this scandal is the fact that this is simply proof that our government has the ability to affect the lives of those that stand against it. What is most important is that right now we have a Democrat in office, so if you side with him then you're on safe ground. What should worry you though is what happens if someone else takes office that you disagree with? Are you still confident that you are on safe ground? Let that sink in for a minute. To those of you that despised Mitt Romney, if he had won the presidency in 2012, would you feel confident that the IRS will never audit you, or question your financing now that we know what we know? I wouldn't, and I don't.

Don't worry though. The woman that was in charge of the tax exempt section for the IRS during all of the conservative attacks, Sarah Hall Ingram, is the now the director of the ObamaCare office within the IRS. How do you feel now? This leads me into my topic...

ObamaCare

Here's the latest fact on ObamaCare from the Washington Examiner’s Philip Klein:

“When President Obama was selling his health care legislation to Congress, he declared that 'the plan I’m proposing will cost around $900 billion over 10 years.'

But with the law’s major provisions set to kick in next year, a new analysis by the Congressional Budget Office projects that the law will cost double that, or $1.8 trillion.”

Did you get that? The Congressional Budget Office projects that ObamaCare will now cost twice as much as what we were told. $1,800,000,000,000. That's trillion not billion. Collectivism sells an idea by stating the ends only. They never want to discuss the means to get there. How do we pay for this huge government expansion? More and more taxes. Paul Krugman came out months ago stating that in order for this legislation to work, we will have to tax the middle class more and create death panels.

So yet again we have an area where people that stood opposed to something have been blasted as any derogatory name you can come up with, and now we are being proven as correct. The cost of this legislation has always had to fall on the backs of millions of hard working Americans, but now it's proven by the Congressional Budget Office that it will cost us twice as much as originally promised. So not only are we now having to pay more in insurance premiums but we will be paying more in taxes.

Lastly let me remind you of the sad sob story that President Obama gave us involving his mother not receiving healthcare during her fight with cancer. Even though this story was in fact proven false it help Obama push ObamaCare under the disguise of no one with Pre-Existing Conditions being denied medical coverage ever again. Well check out the latest coming directly from HealthCare.gov:

Beginning February 16, 2013, the federally-run Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plan (PCIP) is suspending acceptance of new enrollment applications until further notice. State-based PCIPs may continue accepting enrollment applications through March 2, and will then suspend acceptance of new enrollment applications until further notice.

PCIP is a temporary program for those locked out of the current insurance marketplace. The program has a limited amount of funding from Congress.

So let me get this straight; one of the biggest selling points of ObamaCare has now been “temporarily suspended” due to lack of funding from congress. Here comes the blame game against the Republican party. Forget about the fact that this whole bill is not only not cost effective, but it is not affordable. Money has to come from somewhere, and even though this administration has printed more paper money that you can possibly imagine, there is just not enough to afford this. Where do the lies end?

Benghazi Scandal

This whole attack has been spun in so many directions that the average citizen doesn't even know what's going on anymore. The talking points that were given to the American people regarding the attack that took place on September 11, 2012 have now been proved as false. Everyone involved from the State Department and the White House have lied to us about a stupid YouTube video that never should have been blamed to begin with. The protests that took place across the rest of the Middle East have been proven to have nothing to do with this video either. Even though these facts have been presented, the White House and State Department are still trying their best to stick to their story.

Bottom line, we we're lied to again. The parents of those that were killed still have no answers. This is nothing more than unacceptable and incompetent.

The lies from this Administration outweigh anything we have ever seen before. Every administration before has lied to us to push an agenda, I will never deny that, but the Obama administration takes the cake. We have to remind the government that it works for us, not the other way around. Take note that the IRS targeting of conservative groups, the seizure of Associated Press phone records, and the Benghazi scandal all took place during the last election. They all took place in order to intimidate opposition and to mislead the American public into believing a false narrative. There are two words to describe this: Unacceptable Incompetence.

We the people deserve so much better from those that represent us. You can not tell me that the President of the United States is not aware of whats going on in the agencies he oversees or the actions of those he appointed. Between the Fast and Furious Scandal and the seizure of AP phone records, Attorney General Eric Holder should be fired and replaced. The fall guy for the IRS scandal has resigned from post just weeks before he was actually set to resign. He will still receive all benefit packages associated with retiring from the IRS and will most likely never be reprimanded for his behavior.

It's time we force our government to operate the same way as a business in the private sector. They should not be allowed to spend money that they don't have. They should not be allowed to make investments for “The Greater Good” if there is no sign of financial success in that investment. They should be held accountable for their actions the same way that the rest of us are and they should not be immune from the legislation that they force upon us.

President Obama, you told me to reject the voices that cry out tyranny. Well Mr. President, I reject your voice! I reject your lies! I reject your intimidation! And I reject believing that you have my best interests in mind in everything you do. Incompetence is the only trait you display, and it will be your downfall.

Before the last Presidential Election I created a video on the attack in Benghazi on September 11th, 2012. I spent hours watching video footage of congressional hearings and interviews, and I reviewed multiple reports that were being released. Putting all this information together was as difficult as piecing together a 10000 piece puzzle without a picture to reference to and realizing halfway through that your actually missing pieces.

This video was actually the first real report I ever did and if you take the time to watch it you will see that it was most definitely done by a rookie. Why is it though that this rookie was able to do something that most other media outlets were either unable or unwilling to do? Has real journalism become extinct? This article is nothing new to any of you that have been keeping up on Benghazi over the last eight months, but what I find impressive is that the information that I gave in November of 2012 is not only being proved accurate, but my predictions were accurate as well.

This article covers everything I could find about Libya leading up to the attack that took place in Benghazi on September 11th, 2012, the attack itself and then everything relating to the attack up until the end of October 2012. I understand that this article is not up to date, but I felt it was necessary to present this information to you in this format so that you can have everything in one place.

Information and education are truly the only things that can never be taken from us once we have them, and the uneducated and ill informed are the most dangerous. Remember it was the uninformed voter that won the last presidential election and as long as those people remain in the dark on the things that matter, we will continue to fall as one...

The Libyan civil war began back in February 2011 with protests by the citizens wanting freedom from Colonel Muammar Gaddafi. Now we've seen terrorism used during these kinds of uprisings for centuries. From the French Revolution to the anarchists of the late 19th and early 20th centuries to the middle east in the 1960's and beyond. Quite often what starts as a peaceful protest wanting change becomes a violence driven movement by terrorist cells not letting a good crisis go to waste.

So what started as protests became a rebellion, and the new National Transitional Council, the NTC, was formed as an interim governing body.

Constant conflict between the NTC and the Gaddafi regime continued until Gaddafi was finally captured and killed by the rebels in the streets on October 20, 2011. The National Transitional Council "declared the liberation of Libya" and the official end of the war on October 23, 2011.

Although even in the aftermath of the civil war, a low-level insurgency by former Gaddafi loyalists still continued. There have been various disagreements and strife between local militia and tribes.

Now onto the role of America and this administration's involvement in this whole mess.

March 2011

President Obama came out and told Muammar Gaddafi to "Step down from power and leave."

CNN reported:

"The United States showed the benefit of a foreign policy that supports national movements working for democracy. We cannot impose change, but we can bolster emerging efforts for positive reform"

The Daily Beast stated that by August 2012 the U.S. military had spent about $1 billion and played a far larger role in Libya than it had acknowledged, quietly implementing an emerging "covert intervention" strategy that the Obama administration hopes will let America fight small wars with a barely detectable footprint.

We now know that our government was supplying weapons to these rebels, not to mention the 20000 surface to air heat seeking missiles that just happened to go missing from army warehouses across Libya.

I know this is a lot of information, but my question is this. Why were we in Libya? Not only that but why were we supporting these rebels to begin with? Don't get me wrong, Gaddafi was a tyrant and that country has been dictated in ways we can only imagine for decades, but why we're we intervening there of all places? I have my ideas and it involves a certain Brotherhood but we'll cover that another day.

The United States sent Christopher Stevens with a 12 man team to Benghazi which was currently under rebel control. Stevens was there as Special Representative to the rebels. He then set himself up at the Tibesty Hotel there in Benghazi.

June 01, 2011

A car bomb goes off in the parking lot in front of that hotel. Stevens and his team decide that it is too dangerous to stay there and in August they find a residence that they converted into a military compound. The compound was 300 yards by 100 yards in size. Inside the compound were four buildings, the main residence with multiple bedrooms, a cantina where the staff would eat, a tactical operations center filled with security equipment and personnel, and a barracks which housed a Libyan security force.

After Gaddafi was killed in October, Ambassador Stevens began spending most of his time at the main US embassy in Tripoli but he still visited the compound in Benghazi frequently. The state department then began fortifying the compound with higher fences, barbed wire and what you could basically call a panic room inside the main residence. The fortified area in the residence was secured by what looks like the walls of a jail cell and was not made for complete protection, only to be used as a safe haven until help could arrive.

An IED was placed on the North Gate of the compound in Benghazi and set off, blowing a huge hole in the entrance. An IED is basically a makeshift bomb.

June 11, 2012

There was an assassination attempt on the British Ambassador Sir Dominic Asquith as he drove through Benghazi. The ambassador survived but two of his staff were injured. The British soon abandoned their post in Libya.

At this point the American flag was the only other flag left waving in Libya, which brings me back to the question, "why were we there?"

Islamists continued a show of force in June, and by August it was apparent that Al Qaeda affiliated groups were on the rise and could possibly take over the government. Ambassador Stevens even warned Washington that he had seen the flag of Al Qaeda flying on government buildings.

Due to the increase in violence Lt. Coronal Wood and Eric Nordstrom, the regional security officer, asked the State Department to keep Woods and his team on in Libya beyond their scheduled departure in August. They weren't asking for more people, they were just asking to keep the security that they already had.

August 5, 2012

The state department decides not to keep Woods' team in Libya and they reduced the size of another ground force consisting of ex navy seals and ex green barrettes as well. The excuse of the State department, given through Charlene Lamb during the congressional hearings in October, was that we had been training the local militias and that they would be the replacements for such forces.

Due to Wood's team leaving certain members that stayed behind were given an increase in pay; danger pay as its called because the conditions were more uncertain.

So let me get this straight. We couldn't keep the personnel we had, but we could increase the pay of those who remained in Libya because their situation was dangerous.

So Woods and his team leave in August, less than a month before the attack on September 11th.

My guess is that had we kept our forces on the ground beyond their original pull out date, it would have been an admission that conditions in Libya were not as safe as we, the public, thought and that would have gone against this administrations narrative that our actions had been a success there.

Ambassador Stevens returned to Benghazi, which is the first time he'd been back since Woods and his team left.

On that day Stevens arrives in Benghazi and holds meetings on and off the consulate grounds. He spends the night, and for the 11th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks he holds meetings inside the compound only, due to the fear of what dangers this day might bring.

Now I want you to hang with me here because I'm going to fly through this time line of the attack that took place. There's a lot of information but I want you to visualize yourself there. I want you to try to imagine what these men felt during this horrific battle. The fear they must have felt and the bravery they showed should resonate with us all.

September 11, 2012

Around 8:30 pm

Stevens finishes his final meeting of the day and escorts a Turkish diplomat outside the main entrance of the consulate. The situation is calm. There are no protests.

Around 9:40 pm

Agents hear loud noises, gunfire and explosions near the front gate. The barracks at the entrance housing the local militiamen is burnt down. Agents viewing cameras see a large group of armed men flowing into the compound. The alarm is sounded. Telephone calls are made to the embassy in Tripoli, officials in Washington, the Libyan authorities and a U.S. quick reaction force located at a CIA Annex a little more than a mile away.

When the attack first took form, Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods were at this CIA Annex. After the men heard the news of the attack, they promptly let the chain of command know about the situation on the ground. However, they were told to refrain from any action. This same order was given to these men when they asked a second time just one hour later to report that the dangerous situation was still unfolding.

Now back to the main compound...

One agent, armed with a sidearm and an M4 sub machine gun, takes Stevens and computer specialist Sean Smith to a safe room inside the compound’s main residence. It has a heavy metal grill and several locks, medical supplies and water, and windows that can be opened only from the inside. Other agents equip themselves with long guns, body armor, helmets and ammunition at other buildings. Two of them try to make it to the building with Stevens but they are met by armed men and are forced to retreat.

Attackers then penetrate Stevens’ building and try to break the grill locks for the safe room but cannot gain access. During this time the agent protecting Stevens is sitting in the darkness with his rifle aimed at the attackers, just waiting to fight.

Now I want you to picture this. This man is sitting, doing his job, doing his duty, protecting Christopher Stevens. He has him holed up in a room the size of a pantry, in complete darkness, hiding from these attackers. He's looking at them through what would be described as walls of a jail cell, with his gun aimed steadily at them just waiting for something to happen.

Once the attackers realize they can't break through they dump jerry cans of diesel fuel in the building, light furniture on fire and set aflame part of the exterior of the building. Two of the remaining four agents are in the compound’s other residence. Attackers penetrate that building, but the agents barricade themselves in and the attackers can’t reach them. Attackers try to enter the tactical operations center, where the last two agents are located. They smash up the door but cannot enter the building.

Meanwhile, Stevens’ building rapidly fills up with thick diesel smoke and burning fumes from the furniture. Inside, visibility is less than three feet. Unable to breathe, the Americans go to a bathroom and open a window but still can’t get enough air. They decide to leave the building. The agent goes first, flopping out onto a patio enclosed by sandbags. He takes immediate fire, including rocket-propelled grenades. Stevens and Smith don’t come out of the building. The agent, suffering severely from smoke inhalation, goes in and out of the building several times to look for them. He cannot find them. He then climbs a ladder to the roof of the building and collapses. He radios the other agents to alert them to the situation there.

The other four agents are able to reunite and take an armored vehicle to Stevens’ building. They reach the collapsed agent and try to set up a perimeter. They take turns going into the building, searching on hands and knees for the missing Americans. Smith is pulled out, dead. Stevens cannot be found.

Woods, Doherty and at least two others at the CIA Annex then ignore orders to stand down and try to make their way to the main compound which at that point was on fire. They then evacuated those who remained at the compound and Sean Smith, who had been killed in the initial attack. They could not find the ambassador and decided to return to the CIA annex at about midnight.

At that point, they called again for military support and help because they were taking fire. The request was denied. There were no communications problems at the CIA Annex , according those present. The team was in constant radio contact with their headquarters. In fact, at least one member of the team was on the roof of the annex manning a heavy machine gun when mortars were fired at the CIA compound. The security officer had a laser on the target that was firing and repeatedly requested back-up support from a Specter gunship, which is commonly used by U.S. Special Operations forces to provide support to Special Operations teams on the ground involved in intense firefights. The fighting at the CIA annex went on for more than four hours — enough time for any planes located at an air base, just 480 miles away, to arrive. We've also learned that two separate Tier One Special operations forces were told to wait, among them Delta Force operators.

The agents back at the compound then piled into an armored vehicle with Smith’s body and left through the main gate. They faced immediate fire. Crowds and groups of men blocked two different routes to the security compound. Heavy traffic means they were traveling only about 15 mph and trying not to attract attention. On a narrow street they reach a group of men who signal for them to enter a compound. They sense an attack and speed away, taking heavy fire from AK-47 machine guns at a distance of only 2 feet and hand grenades thrown against and under the car. Two tires are blown out.

They speed past another crowd of men and onto a main street and across a grassy median into opposing traffic. The agents drive against traffic, eventually reaching their compound. Security gets into firing positions around the compound and on the roof. They take more gunfire and rocket-propelled grenades intermittently for several hours.

In the night, a team of reinforcements from the U.S. Embassy in Tripoli arrives on a chartered aircraft at the Benghazi airport and reaches the security compound.

Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty, the two men who went in to save Stevens and the other agents, despite being told to stand down, were killed by mortar shell at 4 am Libyan time, nearly seven hours after the attack on the compound began; a window that represented more than enough time for the U.S. military to send back-up from nearby bases. Four mortars were fired at the annex. The first one struck outside the annex. The other three were a direct hit.

These men were heroes. These men showed real American courage. And they were being given orders by cowards.

The remaining men decide to evacuate the city entirely. They spend the next hours securing the annex and moving a large convoy of vehicles to the airport. They evacuate on two flights.

Later that morning a group of citizens stumbled upon Christopher Stevens seemingly lifeless from inside a dark room. They didn't know who he was, all they knew was that he was a foreigner. They tried to rescue the ambassador cheering, “God is Great, God is Great!” They then rushed him to a hospital when they found him still clinging to life. Ambassador Stevens died later that morning.

Now I don't know what any of this means to you, but to me it means that there were a lot of chances, a lot of opportunities for us to do something about this, and we did nothing. Now I, just like many others, want answers. We want to know why. Now I'm just an average citizen, I can't imagine how the family members of those that died feel. I would want to know now, not later. I would want to know why my child, or spouse, wasn't given the help that they asked for multiple times. I would want to know why they were fighting and they weren't getting any help that they were requesting.

These are tricky situations and I understand that, and these things escalate and get out of control very quickly, but this went on for over 7 hours!

The president, in the Rose Garden the day after the attack, says,

"The United States condemns in the strongest terms this outrageous and shocking attack. We're working with the government of Libya to secure our diplomats. I've also directed my administration to increase our security at diplomatic posts around the world. And make no mistake, we will work with the Libyan government to bring to justice the killers who attacked our people."

What government?!? There is no government in Libya! They over through Gaddafi! We helped them do it! They're in the middle of a transitional period, there is no government in Libya. What's going to happen in Libya, honestly, is it going to be the same thing that happened in Egypt? In Egypt we didn't intervene, and what happened? They put in a President that belongs to the Muslim Brotherhood. An organization that is determined to destroy the west and kill all those they they claim to be infidels.

Now I don't know if you know this, but now we're getting involved in Jordan. We have sent troops to Jordan who is starting to go through the same thing that Libya went through. The same thing that Egypt went through. Guess who's gaining force in Jordan, the Muslim Brotherhood. I plan on doing a report on the Muslim Brotherhood, because this is an organization that has been around since 1928. This is a group that wants to infiltrate the west and destroy us from the inside, and we've allowed them to take power in Egypt. We've allowed Libya to go through what they're going through. Now we're getting involved in some way, shape or form in what's going on in Jordan.

So, we're going to work with the government of Libya? What government. Now back to Obama in the Rose Garden:

"Since our founding, the United States has been a nation that respects all faiths. We reject all efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others. But there is absolutely no justification to this type of senseless violence. None. The world must stand together to unequivocally reject these brutal acts."

After his speech, President Obama fly to Las Vegas to continue campaigning.

Governor Mitt Romney accuses the administration of showing weakness in the face of the attack, prompting President Obama to say his rival:

“Governor Romney seems to have a tendency to shoot first and aim later...”

The CIA station chief in Libya reports to Washington within 24 hours of the attack that there was evidence it was carried out by militants, not a spontaneous mob upset about the anti-Islam video.

According to CNN, four days after the murder of US Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens, their reporters found his journal lying on the floor of the consulate. According to a source who read the diary, Stevens worried in the months before his murder about what he called security threats in Benghazi and a rise in Islamic extremism.

Just four days after the attack, CNN was in the consulate. I want you to remember that because we're going to come back to that in a little bit.

U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice goes on television to say the attack was the work of individual clusters of extremists but began as a spontaneous protest. She says evidence gathered to that point showed no indication of a premeditated or coordinated strike.

I guess she didn't receive the memo from the CIA station chief in Libya.

White House Press Secretary Jay Carney says the White House doesn’t have any indication the Benghazi attack was premeditated, but adds it’s still under investigation and the assessment could change.

The president goes on the Late Show with David Letterman and describes the anti-Muslim film and then says:

“Extremists and terrorists used this as an excuse to attack a variety of our embassies, including the consulate in Libya.”

On the eve of the one-month mark since her son's death, Pat Smith mother of Sean Smith, demanded the answers she said she'd been promised by President Barack Obama and other top administration officials.

"I told them, 'Please don't give me any baloney that comes through with this political stuff. I don't want political stuff. You can keep your political, just tell me the truth -- what happened?'" she said. "They haven't told me anything. They're still studying it. And the things that they are telling me are just outright lies"

"I told Obama personally, I said, 'Look, I had him for his first 17 years and then he went into the service, then you got him,'" she recounted. "I said 'You screwed up, you didn't do a good job, I lost my son.' And they said, 'We'll get back to you. We -- I promise, I promise you. I will get back to you”

Vice President Joe Biden says in his debate that night with Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan:

Libya becomes a major issue in the second presidential debate. It’s the first time Obama uses the exact phrase “terrorist attack.” The president says that the day after the attack, “I stood in the Rose Garden and I told the American people and the world that we are going to find out exactly what happened. That this was an act of terror and I also said that we’re going to hunt down those who committed this crime.” Romney countered, “I want to make sure we get that for the record, because it took the president 14 days before he called the attack in Benghazi an act of terror.”

Now Romney dropped the ball on this one because Obama did use the words “act of terror” during his Rose Garden speech. What would have sealed this up is if Romney would have instead use the words “terrorist attack.”

Emails and reports are released to the public...

A report came out that stated at 12:54 in the afternoon on September 11, the White House was warned that somebody was watching the compound in Benghazi. That was nine hours before the attack even began.

The following emails were sent to around 300 to 400 national security officials, including the White House Situation Room, the Pentagon, the FBI and the Director of National Intelligence.

The first email, timed at 4:05 pm Washington time, 20-30 minutes after the attack on the compound began read that the State Department’s regional security office had reported that the diplomatic mission in Benghazi was “under attack.” Embassy in Tripoli reports approximately 20 armed people fired shots; explosions have been heard as well.

A second email, headed “Update 1: U.S. Diplomatic Mission in Benghazi” and timed 4:54 pm Washington time, said that the Embassy in Tripoli had reported that “the firing at the U.S. Diplomatic Mission in Benghazi had stopped and the compound had been cleared.” It said a “response team” was at the site attempting to locate missing personnel.

A third email, sent at 6:07 pm Washington time, carried the subject line: “Update 2: Ansar al-Sharia Claims Responsibility for Benghazi Attack.”

The message reported: “Embassy Tripoli reports the group claimed responsibility on Facebook and Twitter and has called for an attack on Embassy Tripoli.”

In case you didn’t know, Ansar al-Sharia is affiliated with Al Qaeda.

Another report is released stating that we now know that somebody, the White House, the military, somebody, sent a drone. So there was a live video feed of what was going on. They were watching it in the State Department, they were watching it at the Pentagon, they were watching it at Langley, and they were watching it in the Situation Room at the White House. All live. They were watching this attack happen, like it was a movie.

The father of Tyrone Woods, one of the former Navy SEALs killed in the terrorist attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, says President Barack Obama wouldn’t even look him in the eye and Vice President Joe Biden was disrespectful during the ceremony when his son’s body was returned to America. He also says the White House’s story on the attack doesn’t pass the smell test

Woods said Biden came over to his family and asked in a “loud and boisterous” voice, “Did your son always have balls the size of cue balls?”

I'm not a parent, but I can only imagine, if my son's body was sitting in front of me and anyone came up to me and said that... This man is a better man than I.

The grieving father also described his brief encounter with President Obama during the ceremony for the Libya victims:

“When he finally came over to where we were, I could tell that he was rather conflicted, a person who was not at peace with himself...” Woods said. “Shaking hands with him, quite frankly, was like shaking hands with a dead fish. His face was pointed towards me but he would not look me in the eye, his eyes were over my shoulder.”

“I could tell that he was not sorry...” he added. “He had no remorse.”

Hillary Clinton’s comments to Woods raise even more questions about the White House’s official story on the Benghazi attack, which has already been extremely inconsistent.

After apologizing for his loss, Woods said Clinton told him that the U.S. would “make sure that the person who made that film is arrested and prosecuted.”

This is a statement that Woods read to The Blaze:

“I want to honor my son, Ty Woods, who responded to the cries for help and voluntarily sacrificed his life to protect the lives of other Americans. In the last few days it has become public knowledge that within minutes of the first bullet being fired the White House knew these heroes would be slaughtered if immediate air support was denied. Apparently, C-130s were ready to respond immediately. In less than an hour, the perimeters could have been secured and American lives could have been saved. After seven hours fighting numerically superior forces, my son’s life was sacrificed because of the White House’s decision. This has nothing to do with politics, this has to do with integrity and honor. My son was a true American hero. We need more heroes today. My son showed moral courage. This is an opportunity for the person or persons who made the decision to sacrifice my son’s life to stand up.”

When referring to the orders to stand down that were given to his son Woods stated:

“That is cowardice by the people that issued that order. And our country is not a country of cowards. Our country is the greatest nation on Earth. And what we need to do is we need to raise up a generation of American heroes just like Ty who is an American hero. But in order to do that, we need to raise up a generation that has not just physical strength but moral strength. We do not need another generation of liars who lack moral strength.”

Rene Smith comes forward about his son Sean Smith, one of the men killed in Benghazi. He stated, “He was murdered... I want them to get the people who did this.”

But the grieving father wants more than just revenge. He wants the White House to explain exactly what happened in Libya on September 11 and why repeated calls for help were denied.

“They haven’t done anything. My son and them dialed 911 for help and they wouldn’t help them… I want whoever did this, whoever didn’t answer their phone, I want them brought to justice too...” Smith added.

“I loved my son very much...” said Smith. “He was extremely intelligent. And he did not deserve this.”

In closing...

The President of the United States of America, the Secretary of Defense, the Secretary of State have all lied to us. They lied to us and said, “This is because of a video, we don’t have all the information, the information is still sketchy, it’s confusing, but we weren't told they needed more people..."

With each passing day more and more information is coming out. We are learning new things constantly, but you won't find it in the main stream media.

Just a couple days ago Newt Gingrich came out saying that two separate news agencies actually have emails ordering those that could have made a difference in this whole attack to "stand down." Now I'm not a huge Gingrich fan but it appears that this might actually hold water, and if these news agencies have these emails and they are not reporting them then what does that say about them. It says they are cowards and it says they have an agenda, because believe me when I say this, when dealing with matters of a U.S. Ambassador's life, whatever decision is made comes from the president. No state department is going to make that order without the consent of our Commander in Chief.

The truth will come out. Those responsible will pay but don't expect any of the attackers to be brought to justice. Just yesterday I found out that one of the men we had in custody was transferred to Tunisia, out of our jurisdiction and out of our reach.

This administration has been all about a “wait and see” policy. It's full of bureaucracy and red tape. Look what's happening right now in New Jersey. Electrical workers from Alabama did what Americans do. They dropped what they were doing and went in to help. You know what they were told? They were told that they couldn't help because they weren't union workers. What is going on?!? That's what Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty did. They said, “To Hell with you, we're going in there, I don't care what you say!”

That's what Americans do! Cowards wait! Cowards are the ones recording a woman being beaten in a restaurant to the point of a seizure on their damn cells phones instead of jumping in to help! Much like how are government watched the live feed on the Benghazi compound in real time and did nothing!

You take the political parties out of this... This isn't about a political party... It's about the truth!

So there you have it. That was my report that I posted on November 3, 2012, just seven months ago. As more information has been released, my original assessment has been shown to be almost completely true.

On November 16, 2012 I released another video report. In that report I said this in regards to the constant conflicts in the Middle East:

“Now despite what the media may be trying to push this didn't start yesterday or even last month. This started when a man lit himself on fire in Tunisia. The beginning of the Arab spring, a radical Islamic uprising that has taken root and is being legitimized by the Muslim Brotherhood, and this administration has supported it all along, Obama even went as far as comparing the Arab spring to the civil rights movement, and this man who lit himself on fire to Rosa parks for starting the uprising.

We have supported them and we are supporting them. You want to know what Libya is all about? You want to know why you, your friends and every other American should care about Libya? Because we are running guns in Libya! We were arming these terrorists and that's why our ambassador and three brave men were killed. That's what the media is keeping secret from you... That's what this administration doesn't want you to know. That's why they said it was some stupid damned video on YouTube, that prior to this administration mentioning it to the media didn't even have enough views on it to catch anyone's attention on its own. That's why we're talking about a sex scandal now.

Obama’s closest ally in the middle east is turkey. The Turkish Prime Minister was one of the first foreign leaders that Obama called after taking office in 2009. Turkey is the center of this whole Arab Spring and let me mention that Turkey is one of the countries that doesn't consider Hamas a terrorist organization.

The Muslim Brotherhood’s political arm in Egypt just came out saying that they condemn Israels actions and call the killing of Ahmen Jabari a crime which should see a fast and international response. The Muslim Brotherhood supports Hamas in this fight. Hamas! An organization that even our own government has labeled a terrorist organization which has been operating on our border in Mexico and the state department has stated is being funded by Iran. Anyone remember a an Israeli drone being shot down over Iran just a couple weeks ago.

We are giving over a billion of our tax dollars to Egypt which is then taking our money and arming the Muslim Brotherhood and we're arming Al Qaeda and other extremist groups in Libya as well as Syrian rebels. And no one in the media is saying a damn thing! We are staring evil straight in the face my friends and we are making deals with the devil...“

During this last week there was another Congressional hearing on Benghazi, this time with whistle blowers that were actually on the ground in Libya on September 11, 2012. The information they released has now gotten the main stream media to start taking action and they have finally began acting like journalists.

Here are some important pieces to this puzzle that were released this week:

The Libyan Prime Minister stated a day after the attack that this was most definitely a terrorist attack. When this administration started running with the YouTube Video narrative it pissed off the Prime Minister and that's why it took our FBI almost a month to be able to investigate the compound.

Jason Chaffetz went to Libya to speak to those on the ground and certain individuals were told by the State Department not to talk to him. Chaffetz also claimed back in October that the administration assigned a State Department attorney to follow him in his every “footstep” during his investigative trip.

Gregory Hicks, one of the whistle blowers, was effectively demoted after he began questioning the State Department on its use of this YouTube video as a scapegoat.

Gregory Hicks also stated that a “Stand Down Order” was in fact given to those who wanted to help during the attack.

This administration is now in panic mode asking the media for support in this current battle and a congressman has stated that if the facts continue to come out, we might see impeachment proceedings in the near future.

While it is not news that I dislike Obama, I am not interested in the truth coming out so that Obama will be forced out of office. I am interested in finding out exactly what happened because I do not want to have a coward in the oval office. If it comes out that Obama was involved in any of this then he is nothing more than a coward and does not deserve to be our Commander In Chief.

What this all boils down to is this; We have allowed a group of cowards, who are more interested in a popularity contest than the people they represent, take control of our very lives. Obama is a community organizer, not a leader, and his incompetence is that of a high school kid who cares more about posing with Jay Z during a photo op than protecting the over 300 million lives which he serves.

Call or write to your representatives and let them know that they have your support. Let them know that you have their back so long as they continue to push for the truth. You put them in office to serve you, so let them know that now is the time to fight. Now is the time to put the political bias aside and focus instead on the facts.

I apologize for the length of this article. I understand that we all live busy lives , but our individual lives are the very reason that we must take this stand.

A Story on Gun Control

I received this in an email and it was so good I had to share it. These kinds of stories are going to become very common if we don't wake up and start to realize the consequences of passing laws passed on emotions and not based on facts...

Imagine This...

You're sound asleep when you hear a thump outside your bedroom door. Half-awake, and nearly paralyzed with fear, you hear muffled whispers. At least two people have broken into your house and are moving your way.

With your heart pumping, you reach down beside your bed and pick up your shotgun. You rack a shell into the chamber, then inch toward the door and open it. In the darkness, you make out two shadows. One holds something that looks like a crowbar.

When the intruder brandishes it as if to strike, you raise the shotgun and fire. The blast knocks both thugs to the floor. One writhes and screams while the second man crawls to the front door and lurches outside.

As you pick up the telephone to call police, you know you're in trouble. In your country, most guns were outlawed years before, and the few that are privately owned are so stringently regulated as to make them useless. Yours was never registered.

Police arrive and inform you that the second burglar has died. They arrest you for First Degree Murder and Illegal Possession of a Firearm.

When you talk to your attorney, he tells you not to worry: authorities will probably plea the case down to manslaughter.

"What kind of sentence will I get" you ask?

"Only ten-to-twelve years," he replies, as if that's nothing.

"Behave yourself, and you'll be out in seven."

The next day, the shooting is the lead story in the local newspaper. Somehow, you're portrayed as an eccentric vigilante while the two men you shot are represented as choirboys. Their friends and relatives can't find an unkind word to say about them.

Buried deep down in the article, authorities acknowledge that both "victims" have been arrested numerous times. The next day's headline says it all: "Lovable Rogue Son Didn't Deserve to Die." The thieves have been transformed from career criminals into Robin Hood-type pranksters.

As the days wear on, the story takes wings. The national media picks it up, then the international media. The surviving burglar has become a folk hero.

Your attorney says the thief is preparing to sue you, and he'll probably win.

The media publishes reports that your home has been burglarized several times in the past and that you've been critical of local police for their lack of effort in apprehending the suspects. After the last break-in, you told your neighbor that you would be prepared next time. The District Attorney uses this to allege that you were lying in wait for the burglars.

A few months later, you go to trial. The charges haven't been reduced, as your lawyer had so confidently predicted. When you take the stand, your anger at the injustice of it all works against you. Prosecutors paint a picture of you as a mean, vengeful man. It doesn't take long for the jury to convict you of all charges. The judge sentences you to life in prison.

Now while most of you recognize that this is the direction our country is heading, it might shock most of you that this case actually happened. Not in the United States, but in a country that some in the media and this administration wish to use as a model in which America should work to become.

On August 22, 1999, Tony Martin of Emneth, Norfolk, England, killed one burglar and wounded a second. In April, 2000, he was convicted and is now serving a life term.

How did it become a crime to defend one's own life in the once great British Empire?

It started with the Pistols Act of 1903. This seemingly reasonable law forbade selling pistols to minors or felons and established that handgun sales were to be made only to those who had a license.

The Firearms Act of 1920 expanded licensing to include not only handguns but all firearms except shotguns.

Later laws passed in 1953 and 1967 outlawed the carrying of any weapon by private citizens and mandated the registration of all shotguns.

Momentum for total handgun confiscation began in earnest after the Hungerford mass shooting in 1987.

Michael Ryan, a mentally disturbed man with a Kalashnikov rifle, walked down the streets shooting everyone he saw. When the smoke cleared, 17 people were dead.

The British public, already de-sensitized by eighty years of "gun control", demanded even tougher restrictions. (The seizure of all privately owned handguns was the objective even though Ryan used a rifle.)

Nine years later, at Dunblane, Scotland, Thomas Hamilton used a semi-automatic weapon to murder 16 children and a teacher at a public school.

For many years, the media had portrayed all gun owners as mentally unstable, or worse, criminals. Now the press had a real kook with which to beat up law-abiding gun owners.

Day after day, week after week, the media gave up all pretense of objectivity and demanded a total ban on all handguns. The Dunblane Inquiry, a few months later, sealed the fate of the few sidearms still owned by private citizens.

During the years in which the British government incrementally took away most gun rights, the notion that a citizen had the right to armed self-defense came to be seen as vigilantism. Authorities refused to grant gun licenses to people who were threatened, claiming that self-defense was no longer considered a reason to own a gun. Citizens who shot burglars or robbers or rapists were charged while the real criminals were released.

Indeed, after the Martin shooting, a police spokesman was quoted as saying, "We cannot have people take the law into their own hands." All of Martin's neighbors had been robbed numerous times, and several elderly people were severely injured in beatings by young thugs who had no fear of the consequences. Martin himself, a collector of antiques, had seen most of his collection trashed or stolen by burglars.

When the Dunblane Inquiry ended, citizens who owned handguns were given three months to turn them over to local authorities. Being good British subjects, most people obeyed the law. The few who didn't were visited by police and threatened with ten-year prison sentences if they didn't comply.

Police later bragged that they'd taken nearly 200,000 handguns from private citizens.

How did the authorities know who had handguns?

The guns had been registered and licensed. Any of this sound familiar? Possibly the same legislation that this administration has been tirelessly trying to pass in the past few months.

WAKE UP AMERICA; THIS IS WHY OUR FOUNDING FATHERS PUT THE SECOND AMENDMENT IN OUR CONSTITUTION.

Cause And Effect Of Radical Islam

This government has, for many years, been in bed with the wrong people. What may have started as a simple, well intended pact between governments, has spiraled out of control and I'm afraid that there is no longer any chance of us simply walking away from it. One thing that is very important for every American to understand is that over forty nations worldwide are currently in open conflict with Radical Islam. Over forty nations worldwide are battling insurgency, jihadists, Islamic extremists and outright terrorists on a daily basis. This war on terror is not solely a war between Radical Islam and America and to think so is ignorant. It is true that Muslim extremists hate anything to do with western civilization, but their goal is to issue a Global Caliphate and force Sharia Law worldwide. America has to wake up to the fact that there is a war going on around the world and we can only ignore it for so long. How many times must we be attacked within our own borders by these terrorists before we realize that this war isn't going to just go away? How many times do leaders like Benjamin Netenyahu have to plead to us for help before we answer the call? How many times will we help strengthen the Muslim Brotherhood in foreign nations before we realize that we are aiding the enemy? It's time we open our eyes to what is happening and my hope is that having all this information in one place might make that easier.

I say that our government has been involved with the wrong people because this is not something that can be blamed on just one administration. It is not news that the Bush administration was seen as being in bed with Saudi Arabia during their time in office. We know that almost immediately after September 11th, 2001, over 100 Saudi Nationals nationwide, some of which were family members of bin Laden, were swept up and deported. They were never questioned about possible ties to the attacks or their connections to Al Qaeda. Information about them was also wiped from any records of the attacks and President Bush himself was closely tied to the royalty of Saudi Arabia. Unfortunately President Bush is no longer in office and this warming up to Radical Islam is continuing at an even faster pace with the Obama administration. I'm not here today to talk about President Bush and his faults, even though he has many. I'm here to educate you on our current administration, our current President, the media and other organizations that want you to believe that the war on terror is a fake war, that Radical Islam does not exist, that organizations like CAIR and the Muslim Brotherhood should be trusted and that Jihad is good because it is “just a tenet of Islam.”

After much thought I have decided that the best place to start is with President Obama himself. Before I explain to you the depths to which this government has gone to become a lap dog to the people controlling multiple terrorist cells around the world, I want to explain to you why our President feels the way he does about Islam and why he refuses to call a spade, a spade.

I have said multiple times that I have no doubt that President Obama was indeed born on United States soil. I am not a “Birther” nor was I ever. So with that in mind, we have a President that may have been born in the US, but what we seem to look past is how and where he was raised.

Barack Hussein Obama II was born on August 4, 1961 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Around the time of his conception, his mother Ann Dunham was spending time with Frank Marshall Davis. I don't want to get too much in to depth on Davis, but at the very least you should know that he was a card carrying communist and a mentor to our president later in life. Davis had a large file with the FBI and had we actually gone to war during the Cold War, he would have been locked up indefinitely. With that said, it might surprise you to learn that there are nude photos of Obama's mother, Ann Dunham, that are said to be taken by none other than Frank Marshall Davis. These photos have been exposed but it seems that the media could care less about smearing their supreme leader or embarrassing him at all. I would like to preface my next statement by saying that I am in NO WAY a person who seeks out or tries to push any conspiracy theories. What I bring to you is the facts as I find them and my own personal opinions. If you look at photos of Barack Obama along side photos of Barack Obama Sr. and Frank Marshall Davis, there is very little doubt that his father may not be the Kenyan that he never actually knew, but perhaps was the card carrying communist which became a mentor to him during his youth.

Regardless I must continue with the reasoning for Obama's views on Radical Islam. Obama's mother left Hawaii when little Barack was less than a month old and went to Seattle, Washington to attend the University of Washington. Barack Obama Sr. only saw his son once more, for about a month in 1971. At the age of 5 Obama's mother was remarried to a man named Lolo, and moved with her new husband to his home country of Indonesia. Obama lived there until the age of 10, when he moved back to Hawaii to live with his grandparents. This information is critical, because while our current President was born in this country it must be understood that he spent 5 crucial years not being raised here. He did not attend an American school where he would stand up every morning, put his hand on his heart, and say the “Pledge of Allegiance.” He did not spend the 4^th of July with his family watching fireworks or learning about why we celebrate that day. He did not spend that time learning about American history from an American teacher. He spent these 5 years living in a country that despised the idea of colonialism. Indonesia was not a fan of the idea that the Dutch had tried to colonize them in order to export its resources. Despite the fact that they helped with the development of roads, infrastructure, closer interaction between Western and Eastern culture and education for a small elite of natives. The people only saw this action as an exploitation of Indonesian resources and labor for the profit of the home country. Correct me if I'm wrong but these same feelings of animosity are shared by the people of Kenya, the homeland of Obama's father. So it's fair to say that Obama grew up adapting to the frame of mind that is against any government involvement in foreign nations for the purpose of exploitation or colonization. He grew up around people that felt that country's should be left alone to do as they wish, even as a third world country that is falling to ruin, and that any other countries involvement only creates animosity and uprising. I hope that at this point you're starting to put some of this together in correlation with our Presidents current reasoning for his actions, or inaction.

As I said before, at the age of 10 Obama returned to Hawaii to live with his grandparents. I want to make it clear that during the 60's, 70's, 80's and on, many organizations were formed in Hawaii that fought for the sovereignty of the islands. Hawaiians were in a struggle for their own independence from the United States and felt much the same way as Indonesia and Kenya when it came to other nations using them for their resources. So here we have Obama going from one home that was anti-colonialist to another. At this point Frank Marshal Davis was introduced to Obama by his grandfather, Stanley Dunham, who was seeking a black, male role model or father figure to mentor his grandson. He and Obama met many times throughout the 1970's, often for hours at a time late into evenings. Obama even refers to Davis literally dozens of times in every part of his bestselling book, Dreams from My Father. So we go from growing up with multiple anti-colonialist surroundings to a card carrying Communist mentor, sounds like the perfect recipe for a future President of the United States.

Honestly there are too many examples to give in regards to the framing of Barack Obama's mind. You can look at his connection to Bill Ayers who, in 1969, participated in planting a bomb at a statue dedicated to police casualties in the 1886 Haymarket affair confrontation between labor supporters and the Chicago police. It is said that Obama and Ayers were close and he did in fact start his political career in Ayers' living room. We have Obama's connection to the radical Reverend Jeremiah Wright, who is known for his controversial sermons, one of which he uttered the words, “It's not God Bless America, It's Goddamn America!” Barack Obama even went as far as reciting the teachings of Saul Alinsky during his time as a professor. The list goes on and on and only a fool would try to say that all of this combined did not affect the upbringing of our current Commander-In-Chief.

So what was my purpose for bringing you all this information? I wanted to briefly explain to you why Obama has dealt with things as our President in regards to our involvement in foreign conflicts and the war on terror. He believes that Radical Islam does not exist because the Islamic people are simply fighting back against nations who work to exploit their resources or their people. He believes that Jihad is simply a method for people to better themselves. He believes that our own government is responsible for the attacks that have been carried out against us because of our involvement in the Islamic world. What Obama fails to realize is that these conflicts can be traced back to before America was ever even a nation. In fact the first recorded land battle of the United States fought overseas was during the First Barbary War. It's where the line “To the shores of Tripoli” comes from in our Marine Hymn. This battle was with the Ottoman Empire which was founded in 1299. My point is that this Radical Islamic War is nothing new and it was not started by America. My own family was forced to flee to America due to the Turkish people of the Ottoman Empire starting the Armenian Genocide in the early 1900's. So if I seem like I take some what I say here personally, I have just cause.

Before I go any further I want to quickly introduce you to the Muslim Brotherhood because this organization spawned from the Ottoman Empire and it is directly tied to much of what is currently going on in the nations in and around the middle east. Also I hope you read my previous post on the Muslim Brotherhood Project because it is important for you to understand this organizations true intentions. If you haven't read it yet, please go back and do so after you finish this article.

The Muslim Brotherhood was founded in Egypt in 1928. The Brotherhood's stated goal is to instill the Qur'an and Sunnah as the "sole reference point for...ordering the life of the Muslim family, individual, community... and state." The organization seeks to make Muslim countries become Islamic Caliphates, which includes the isolation of women and non-Muslims from public life. The movement is also known for engaging in political violence. They were responsible for creating Hamas, a U.S. designated terrorist organization, which most recently made the news in its attack against Israel last year. Muslim Brotherhood supporters are also suspected of having established the well known terrorist group Al Qaeda.

The Muslim Brotherhood started as a religious social organization; preaching Islam, teaching the illiterate, setting up hospitals and even launching commercial enterprises. As it continued to rise in influence, starting in 1936, it began to oppose British rule in Egypt. Many Egyptian nationalists accuse the Muslim Brotherhood of violent killings during this period. After the Arab defeat in the First Arab-Israeli war, the Egyptian government dissolved the organization and arrested many of its members. It came back and supported the Egyptian Revolution of 1952, but after an attempted assassination of Egypt's president it was once again banned and repressed. The Muslim Brotherhood is financed by contributions from its members, who are required to allocate a portion of their income to the movement. Some of these contributions are from members who work in Saudi Arabia and other oil-rich countries.

According to the Washington Post, U.S. Muslim Brotherhood supporters "make up the U.S. Islamic community's most organized force" by running hundreds of mosques, businesses ventures, promoting civic activities and setting up American Islamic organizations to defend and promote Islam. In 1963, the U.S. chapter of Muslim Brotherhood was started by activists involved with the Muslim Students Association (MSA). U.S. supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood also started other organizations including the North American Islamic Trust in 1971, the Islamic Society of North America in 1981, the International Institute of Islamic Thought in the 1980s, the American Muslim Council in 1990, the Muslim American Society in 1992 and the Council on American–Islamic Relations (CAIR) in 1994.

CAIR is America's largest Muslim civil liberties organization that deals with civil advocacy. It is headquartered on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., with regional offices nationwide. Through media relations, lobbying, and education, CAIR presents an Islamic perspective on issues of importance to the American public, and seeks to empower the American Muslim community and encourage its social and political activism. Annual banquets, through which CAIR raises the majority of its funds, are attended by American politicians, statesmen, interfaith leaders, activists and media personalities. Critics of CAIR consider it to be pursuing an extremist Islamist agenda. In 2009, the FBI broke off formal outreach contacts with CAIR, following the Holy Land Foundation trial and rising concerns about the organization's ties with Hamas, which as I said earlier, is considered to be a terrorist group by the United States government. This trial was eventually swept under the rug and I strongly suggest you look into this trial and CAIR on your own time. Even more I suggest watching the documentary “The Project” that was put together by Mercury Arts. The Project gives a great detailed description of the Holy Land Foundation trial and the Muslim Brotherhood.

There are too many items I could cover in regards to CAIR, but I'd rather give you one story in order to explain who is in control of this organization. The interim Syrian government, installed to represent the rebels, has elected a former Vice President of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX to lead them. Also its important to note that the election took place at a meeting in Turkey. The same Turkey that was once home to where the Ottoman Empire was centered. How is it that a member of CAIR in America could possibly leave here and go to Syria to become the head of the rebels that are supported by the Muslim Brotherhood, and nobody seems to care. The Muslim Brotherhood has called for the destruction of Israel, the spreading of Sharia Law, the introduction of a Global Caliphate and the end to western civilization. We supported them in Egypt, we armed them in Libya, we are arming them in Syria, and now they have a new acting leader in Syria that used to control a section of CAIR in America.

I now want to give a breakdown of specific countries and their ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and Radical Islam.

Let's start with Egypt:

The Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt is an Islamist religious, political, and social movement. Following the 2011 Revolution the group was legalized, and with an estimated 600,000 members or supporters it's considered the largest, best-organized political force in Egypt. Its belief is, "God is our objective; the Qur’an is our constitution, the Prophet is our leader; Jihad is our way; and death for the sake of God is the highest of our aspirations." Founded in Egypt by Hassan al-Banna in March 1928, the group spread to other Muslim countries but has one of its largest organizations in Egypt. In April 2011 it launched a civic political party called the Freedom and Justice Party to contest elections, described as having "the same mission and goals, but different roles" than the Brotherhood. On June 24, Egypt's elections commission announced the official results of the presidential elections in a televised press conference, naming Muslim Brotherhood candidate Mohamed Morsi as the first post-revolution president. So here we have a country that for over 80 years has fended off the Muslim Brotherhood, now under control of that exact organization. The former head of the Muslim Brotherhood, Mohammed Mahdi Akef, is quoted as saying:

“We believe that Zionism, the United States, and England are gangs that kill children and women and men and destroy houses and fields. .... Zionism is a gang, not a country. So we will resist them until they don't have a country.”

In case you didn't catch it I want to point out that they, the Muslim Brotherhood, are not afraid to use religious language when describing their enemies. The Zionists, according to them, are responsible for the killing of their people. Yet we have allowed organizations like CAIR to dictate to the American public, deeming the use of words like Radical Islam are offensive and should be censored.

This same Muslim Brotherhood also gave the honorific title of Sheikh to none other than Osama bin Laden. A recent statement by the Brotherhood on the issue of violence and assassinations condemned the killing of "Sheikh Osama bin Laden" by the United States by saying:

"The whole world, and especially the Muslims, have lived with a fierce media campaign to brand Islam as terrorism and describe the Muslims as violent by blaming the September 11th 'incident' on Al Qaeda.”

The Arabic website of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood displays much anti-Semitic and anti-Israel content. It contains articles that engage in Holocaust denial, praise jihad and martyrdom, condemn the Egyptian-Israeli peace treaty, calls for the destruction of Israel, and condemns negotiations with non-Muslims to regain lands lost by Islam. In addition, the Arabic website repeats anti-Semitic conspiracy theories alleging that Jews have created evil in the world throughout history.

During the revolution of Egypt in 2011 this administration insisted that their President at the time, Hosni Mubarak, step down, and put pressure on Egypt's military rulers to hand over power to civilian leaders. Many critics believed that this course of action may result in more instability to the country and ultimately to the entire Middle East. After 15 days of protest, Mubarak did indeed step down. He was put on trial on charges of negligence for not giving orders to stop the killing of peaceful protesters during the revolution. On June 2nd, 2012, Mubarak was sentenced to life imprisonment by an Egyptian court. After sentencing, he was reported to have suffered a series of health crises. The most recent status on Mubarak that I could find states that multiple sources reported that he was very ill, with some reporting that he was in a coma, others stating that he had had a stroke or had been on life support.

So now we have a member of the Muslim Brotherhood in control of the very country that they were founded in. After 80 years of struggle they had finally claimed control of their home country, but was this their end game? Most certainly not. They were just getting started.

Now let's head over to Libya:

When most of us hear Libya, we immediately think of the CIA compound that was attacked on the anniversary of September 11th in Benghazi. Four American citizens were killed and many were injured. To this day there are still around 30 eyewitnesses of this attack that are being kept away from the public. The hearings involved in the investigation of this attack leave us with more questions than answers. Bottom line, there is an incredible amount of evidence that proves that this administration dealt with the matter of Benghazi with an extreme amount of negligence. Just recently, House Representative Trey Gowdy went on Fox news to say that there are going to be more hearings on Benghazi in the very near future and that they will be “explosive.” But the attack in Benghazi is not really what I want to discuss. What is important is the events that lead up to the attack that killed US Ambassador to Libya, Christopher Stevens.

The Libyan civil war, also referred to as the Libyan revolution was a 2011 armed conflict in the North African state of Libya, fought between forces loyal to Colonel Muammar Gaddafi and those seeking to oust his government. The war was preceded by protests in Benghazi beginning on February 15th, 2011, which led to clashes with security forces that fired on the crowd. The protests escalated into a rebellion that spread across the country. Yet again our own President Obama stepped into the limelight on March 3rd, 2011 and told Gaddafi to "Step down from power and leave." On October 20th, 2011 Gaddafi was captured and beat to death in the streets, thus ending the revolution.

Notice that President Obama for the second time told a foreign leader to step down from power and allow the rebels to take over their country. But who were the rebels this time? The National Liberation Army, formerly known as the Free Libyan Army, was a Libyan military organization affiliated with the National Transitional Council, which was constituted during the Libyan civil war by defected military members and civilian volunteers, in order to engage in battle against both remaining members of the Libyan Armed Forces and para militia loyal to the rule of Muammar Gaddafi. One of their leaders, Mustafa Abdul Jalil, has stated “We are seeking to establish a state government by law and welfare, and Shari’ah - Islamic law - should be the main source of law.” Al Qaeda is now in works to join up with the Libyan NTC. Their aim is to establish a foothold in Libya from which to launch attacks against western targets, as well as gaining access to the large stockpiles of weapons, including Russian-made anti-aircraft missiles, that were looted by Libyan rebels during the fall of Colonel Muammar Gaddafi's regime at the end of last year.

So let me get this straight, Obama called for Egypt's President to step down and we ended up with a the Muslim Brotherhood taking over. Then Obama calls for Libya's President to step down and now we have a government that is collaborating with Al Qaeda. Today we have the people of Jordan stepping up and rioting for the same type of transition that Egypt and Libya had, and guess who is weaseling their way into this whole mess? That's right, the Muslim Brotherhood. How long until Obama tells King Abdullah II of Jordan to step down, and then we end up with another Muslim Brotherhood run country, this time on the border of Israel. Can you imagine yet another country that is ran by an organization like the Muslim Brotherhood, that has called for the extermination of the Jewish people, sharing a border with Israel? I'm sure that would work out fine, no problems could possibly be created by that outcome.

It's not a far cry to imagine that the Muslim Brotherhood would in fact come to control another nation, especially after the recent news of a Muslim Brotherhood operative that is now in control of the Syrian rebel army. You read that right, but it gets worse. Ghassan Hitto, emigrated from Syria to Texas decades ago, and just decided to join the Syrian rebels in the fight for freedom last year, leaving behind his American wife, who just happens to be a school teacher, and four children in the process. The Syrian rebel army has made him the Prime Minister of their cause and if the rebels manage to oust Assad’s government, Hitto will become the new leader of his home country. Prior to leaving America to lead this army, Hitto was, as I mentioned earlier, the Vice President of for the Dallas-Fort Worth branch of CAIR. He came to America, received an American education, became Vice President of the Muslim Brotherhood's Dallas branch of CAIR and is now representing the Muslim Brotherhood as the leader of the Syrian Rebel army. At what point do we stop thinking these things are just coincidences?

I now want to move on to Iran:

Their president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and the Obama administration's refusal to acknowledge the danger this man represents. Before I explain this I want to share a few quotes from Ahmadinejad with you:

“The wave of the Islamic revolution will soon reach the entire world.”

“Anybody who recognizes Israel will burn in the fire of the Islamic nation's fury.”

“Iran can recruit hundreds of suicide bombers a day. Suicide is an invincible weapon. Suicide bombers in this land showed us the way, and they enlighten our future.”

Well, that sounds like a guy that I want as a friend and ally. Ahmadinejad believes that the Twelfth Imam is coming soon. While Christians look for the 2nd coming of Christ, the Jews await the Messiah and some Muslims await the 12th Imam. However, of the three, Allah’s designated Mahdi is the only one who demands a violent path to conquer the world. Ahmadinejad, and his cabinet, say they have a ‘signed contract’ with al Mahdi in which they pledge themselves to his work. Ahmadinejad believes that he is the man who will bring about the Twelfth Imam, but what does this mean?

The Twelfth Imam will not return until there is complete and total devastation across the world. In light of concerns over Iran’s nuclear capabilities, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has reportedly stated Israel should be wiped off the map. He spoke to the United Nations in September of 2005. During that speech he claims to have been in an aura of light and felt a change in the atmosphere during which time no one present could blink their eyes. Ahmadinejad is also said to have spoken in apocalyptic terms and seems to relish conflict with the west whom he calls the “Great Satan.” This is while he proclaims he must prepare the world for the coming Mahdi by way of a world totally under Muslim control. He is working hard to bring about the worldwide horrors that must be in place for their al Mahdi to bring peace. This notion and goal, along with a violent hatred of infidels, America and Israel reminds us of Biblical prophecies of the coming anti-Christ and the pledges of millions to a deceiving False Messiah who will claim to bring peace. This man is a danger not just to America, but to the world and my question is this; How can anyone allow this man to come under control of ANY power or powerful weapon source?

During the Vice Presidential debates last year, Joe Biden laughed at Paul Ryan for even mentioning the threat that Iran presents. While we are not currently cuddling up to Iran, we are also not doing anything to stop or slow them down. Obama has called for leaders to step down from power in countries that the Muslim Brotherhood wants to control, but ignores the rantings of a mad man. Perhaps if the Supreme Leader of the Muslim Brotherhood told Obama that they wanted to take over Iran, then we would get involved.

Now while I have given examples of the Muslim Brotherhood and Radical Islam causing controversy in foreign nations and setting up organizations within our border, it's time to show you where they've infiltrated our government. The following is a list of Radical Muslims connected to the terrorist organization The Muslim Brotherhood, who are now part of the Obama administration:

Arif Alikhan -

Assistant Secretary for Policy Development for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. He is a founder of the World Islamic Organization, which is identified as a Brotherhood "subsidiary." It is said that Alikhan was responsible for the "file of Islamic states" in the White House and that he provides the direct link between the Obama administration and the Arab Spring revolutions of 2011.

Mohammed Elibiary -

Homeland Security Adviser. He has endorsed the ideas of radical Muslim Brotherhood luminary Sayyid Qutb and may have leaked secret materials contained in Department of Homeland Security databases, Elibiary however, denies having any connection with the Brotherhood. It is said that Elibiary also played a role in defining the Obama administration's counter terrorism strategy, and that he wrote the speech Obama gave when he told former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak to leave power.

Rashad Hussain -

Special Envoy to the (OIC) Organization of the Islamic Conference. It is said that Hassain maintains close ties with people and groups that comprise the Muslim Brotherhood network in America. This includes his participation in the June 2002 annual conference of the American Muslim Council, formerly headed by convicted terrorist financier Abdurahman Alamoudi. Hassain also participated in the organizing committee of the Critical Islamic Reflection along with important figures of the American Muslim Brotherhood such as Jamal Barzinji,Hisham al-Talib and Yaqub Mirza.

Salam al-Marayati -

Obama Adviser, founder Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC) and its current executive director. Al-Marayati has been among the most influential Muslim American leaders in recent years, and there are connections between MPAC in the international Muslim Brotherhood infrastructure.

Imam Mohamed Magid -

Obama's Sharia Czar, Islamic Society of North America. Magid heads ISNA, which was founded by Brotherhood members and was appointed by Obama in 2011 as an adviser to the Department of Homeland Security. It is also said that he has given speeches and conferences on American Middle East policy at the State Department and offered advice to the FBI. Perhaps the removal of anything referring to Radical Islam being removed from their training manuals.

Eboo Patel -

Advisory Council on Faith-Based Neighborhood Partnerships. Patel maintains a close relationship with Hani Ramadan, the grandson of Brotherhood founder Hasan al-Banna, and is a member of the Muslim Students Association, which is identified as "a large Brotherhood organization."

You can't tell me that this government has not been compromised. You can't tell me that the Muslim Brotherhood does not have the ear of our President. Look at Salam al-Marayati, he's an adviser to Obama. Were any of these people involved in the removal of the terms “terrorism,” “terrorist attack,” or “Al Qaeda” for the initial report on Benghazi? Were any of them involved in creating this administration's narrative claiming that Radical Islam doesn't exist, that Jihad is simply a tenet of Islam, or that terrorism doesn't exist because it's simply a tactic? During the 2012 Presidential campaign, Obama boasted and bragged about how Osama bin Laden was dead and Al Qaeda had been decimated. He failed to recognize the multiple attacks that not only have been carried out worldwide by Al Qaeda but attacks that had been carried out within our own borders. He mislead the uninformed voters to believe that we were safe and that now that our supreme leader had ended the war in Iraq and is winding up the war in Afghanistan, we have no need to live in fear.

Let me provide you with some examples of terrorist activity that has happened within the United States since President Obama took office in 2009:

Little Rock Shooting

June 1, 2009: Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad shot and killed Andy Long, a military recruiter, and seriously wounded another at a Little Rock, Arkansas recruiting station. Muhammad, a convert to Islam, had visited Yemen for 16 months, where he spent time in prison and became radicalized. Muhammad identified with Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP). In January 2010, Muhammad wrote to the judge in his case, claimed for the first time that he was sent on the attacks by Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), and pleaded guilty to the charges of capital murder.

Are we supposed to just forget about this act of terrorism. Well I guess we could say that bin Laden was still alive so this doesn't pertain to Obama's comments during his campaign.

Fort Hood Shooting

Nov. 5, 2009: Nidal Malik Hasan, a U.S. Army major serving as a psychiatrist, opened fire at Fort Hood, Texas. He shouted "Allahu Akbar!" (Allah is Greatest!) as he killed 13 and wounded 29 fellow soldiers. Hasan had received approval for his act from Al Qaeda operative Anwar al-Awlaki. Obama’s classification of the Fort Hood shooting by Army Major Nidal Hasan as “workplace violence” is even more absurd. Workplace violence is when an office worker punches his colleague. What Hasan did, murder his colleagues simply because they were serving in the U.S. Military, is something else altogether. Hasan sought guidance from Anwar al-Awlaki, the spiritual adviser of several notorious terrorists, and he shouted “Allahu Akbar” during his attack.

Furthermore, the FBI knew of emails between Hasan and al-Awlaki, but the policy committee at Walter Reed Medical Center, where Hasan worked before relocating to Fort Hood, looked past his radicalism out of concern for “how it would look if we kick out one of the few Muslim residents.” I'd also like to add that Hasan had private business cards made which were inscribed with SOA, Solider of Allah, that he kept in a box in his home. At one point Hasan’s superior, Colonel Terry Lee, actually heard him praise the death of one of his victims, but the Obama administration’s concern for political correctness trumped concern for the safety of our soldiers, so nothing was done.

Underwear Bomber

Dec. 25, 2009: A Nigerian man, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, who at the age of 23 confessed to and was convicted of attempting to detonate plastic explosives hidden in his underwear while on board Northwest Airlines Flight 253, en route from Amsterdam to Detroit, Michigan, on Christmas Day. Yet again, Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) claimed to have organized the attack with Abdulmutallab. They said they supplied him with the bomb and trained him. Connections to Al Qaeda and Anwar al-Awlaki were found in this attack as well, although al-Awlaki denied ordering the man to do the bombing. Abdulmutallab was convicted in a U.S. federal court of eight criminal counts, including attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction and attempted murder of 289 people. On February 16^th, 2012 he was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

New York Times Car Bomb

May 1, 2010: The attempted car bombing of Times Square on May 1, 2010, was a planned terrorist attack that was foiled when two street vendors discovered the car bomb and alerted a New York Police Department patrolman to the car bomb threat after they spotted smoke coming from a vehicle. The bomb had been ignited, but failed to explode, and was disarmed before it caused any casualties. Two days later federal agents arrested Faisal Shahzad, a 30-year-old Pakistan-born resident of Bridgeport, Connecticut, who had become a U.S. citizen in April 2009. He was arrested after he had boarded Emirates Flight 202 to Dubai at John F. Kennedy International Airport. He admitted attempting the car bombing and said that he had trained at a Pakistani terrorist training camp, according to U.S. officials. United States Attorney General Eric Holder said that Shahzad's intent had been "to kill Americans."

Shahzad was charged in federal court in Manhattan on May 4^th with attempted use of a weapon of mass destruction and other federal crimes related to explosives. More than a dozen people were arrested by Pakistani officials in connection with the plot. Holder said the Pakistani Taliban directed the attack and may have financed it. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton warned of "severe consequences" if an attack like this were to be successful and traced back to Pakistan. The Obama administration saw a need for retaliatory options, including a unilateral military strike in Pakistan, if a future successful attack was to be traced to Pakistan-based militants. Yet again, a clear use of Obama's “Wait and See” policy. On October 5^th, 2010, Shahzad was sentenced to life in prison after pleading guilty to a 10-count indictment in June, including charges of conspiracy to use a weapon of mass destruction and attempting an act of terrorism.

Cargo Plane Bombs

On October 29, 2010, two packages, each containing a bomb consisting of 300 to 400 grams of plastic explosives and a detonating mechanism, were found on separate cargo planes. The bombs were discovered as a result of intelligence received from Saudi Arabia's security chief. They were bound from Yemen to the United States, and were discovered at en route stop-overs, one at East Midlands Airport in the UK and one in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. One week later, Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) took responsibility for the plot, and for the crash of UPS Airlines Flight 6. U.S. and British authorities had believed that the AQAP, and specifically Anwar al-Awlaki, were behind the bombing attempts. They also believed the bombs were most likely constructed by the AQAP's main explosives expert, Ibrahim Hassan al-Asiri. According to the USA and the UK, the bombs were probably designed to detonate mid-air, with the intention of destroying both planes over Chicago or another city in the U.S. Each bomb had already been transported on both passenger and cargo planes.

Benghazi

Sept. 11, 2012: Al Qaeda operatives attacked the American diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya. The heavily armed assault began during the night at a compound meant to protect the consulate building. A second assault early the next morning targeted a nearby CIA annex. Four people were killed, including U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens. Ten others were injured. We all know this story and I won't spend much time on it. This administration spent two weeks claiming this was due to a protest cause by a stupid video on YouTube. No one has been brought to justice for this crime. One suspect was even sent to Tunisia before we could interrogate him. It's said that there are still about 30 witnesses of this attack that are being kept from the public. If you have not heard about the attack in Benghazi I ask that you watch my Full Benghazi Report on YouTube, here's the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6-fZTbR4lkQ. Recently the Interim Progress Report was released that is based on an investigation across five House committees on the Benghazi terrorist attack. This report paints a disturbing picture of how diplomatic security was neglected and of the confusion on the part of the Obama Administration. Here are a few points from that report:

“Reductions of security levels prior to the attacks in Benghazi were approved at the highest levels of the State Department, up to and including [former] Secretary [of State Hillary] Clinton. This fact contradicts her testimony before the House Foreign Affairs Committee on January 23, 2013.”

“In the days following the attacks, White House and senior State Department officials altered accurate talking points drafted by the Intelligence Community in order to protect the State Department.”

“Contrary to Administration rhetoric, the talking points were not edited to protect classified information. Concern for classified information is never mentioned in email traffic among senior Administration officials.”

So now I'd like to answer your question Mrs. Clinton, “What difference does it make? It makes a huge difference when it's proven that you and this administration go out of your way to distort the truth and leave Americans without protection in hostile locations!”

I also despise the fact that this story is getting almost zero attention and that the attack has been swept under the rug, no one is being held accountable and the parents of the victims still have no answers.

New York Federal Reserve Attempted Bombing

Oct. 17, 2012: A Bangladeshi man was arrested charged with trying to detonate a 1,000-pound car bomb outside the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, a target he chose in a bid to disrupt the U.S. economy, authorities said. Quazi Mohammad Rezwanul Ahsan Nafis was taken into custody in a lower Manhattan hotel room after repeatedly using a cellphone to try to detonate material that he believed was a bomb in a van parked outside the New York Federal Reserve. Nafis, who was 21 years old, was held without bail after a brief arraignment in the U.S. District Court in Brooklyn. He wasn't required to enter a plea, and his attorney declined to comment. He was arrested as part of a Federal Bureau of Investigation sting and is charged with attempting to use a weapon of mass destruction and attempting to provide material support to Al Qaeda.

Federal officials said Mr. Nafis was an admirer of Al Qaeda but worked independently on the bombing attempt after entering the U.S. in January on a student visa. According to a criminal complaint filed in federal court, the FBI and New York Police Department learned of Nafis's intent to commit an act of terrorism when he tried to recruit an FBI informant to form a terrorist cell. The sting began in July when Nafis was introduced to an undercover FBI agent posing as an Al Qaeda facilitator, according to the complaint. In recorded conversations with the informant and the undercover agent, Nafis said he wanted his plan approved by the highest levels of Al Qaeda leadership. Nafis said his goal was to execute an attack "that will shake the whole country" and mused that a successful strike might cancel the next month's presidential election. Nafis began gathering material to build an explosive, purchasing batteries and electronics in October. The undercover agent then gave him twenty 50-pound bags of material described as explosive.

President Barack Obama was briefed on the undercover FBI arrest in New York, White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said. He didn't give any other details. According to prosecutors, Nafis claimed responsibility for the planned attack in an article he wrote and gave to the agent for publication in an Al Qaeda magazine. He wrote that he carried it out on behalf of Al Qaeda with the aim to "destroy America" by targeting the nation's economy. He previously considered targeting the New York Stock Exchange and had also weighed the possibility of carrying out the alleged strike in a suicide bombing. Nafis decided not to, the complaint said, because he hadn't made a final visit to Bangladesh to see his family and believed he could conduct more attacks if alive.

Boston Bombing

April 15, 2013: In the latest act of terror on Obama's watch, at least two Muslim jihadists set off pressure-cooker bombs loaded with shrapnel at the finish line of the Boston Marathon, killing three and injuring 183. Then, in a second wave of terror, the terrorists shot two police officers, killing one, and also injured several others with military-grade explosives. The two terrorists have been tied to Chechnya. A third man from Saudi Arabia has apparently disappeared in the dead of night. This third man, Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi, was briefly considered a suspect, then a person of interest, and then simply a victim in the Boston Marathon bombing. An “event file” was created on Alharbi after the FBI raided his home for 9 hours and interrogated his roommate for 5 hours. Then, miraculously the “event file,” 212a3B, was destroyed and he was claimed innocent in any involvement in the bombings, and said to have simply “been in the wrong place at the wrong time.” Saudi Arabia is somehow tied to this latest attack, and the story is being manipulated and changed by this administration, just like in Benghazi. At what point do we stop accepting the soft approach and lies in regards to these types of attacks.

So what can we take from all of this? We have a government that has gone out of its way to distort the truth and act as if we are at fault for the wrong doings to the people of Islam. President Obama even went as far as to tour Europe after only months in office, basically publicly apologizing for the “mistakes” that America has made in the past. President Obama's administration has whitewashed anything relating to Radical Islam from FBI training manuals. The list goes on and on, but the people of this country choose to remain in the dark. Is it because they refuse to believe that anything bad could possibly happen to them, even though we recently had a bombing at a marathon that resembled something you'd see in Israel or a middle eastern country on any given day? Perhaps people feel that all of this is just political and they have no interest in politics. Are they going to feel that way when it's one of their friends or family members that are killed by a suicide bomber that detonates themselves while screaming “Allahu Akbar” in the middle of Times Square? Are they finally going to look past the political ramblings when this government doesn't give them the truth about how their 8 year old son was killed in a bombing? Have we already forgotten what 19 terrorists did to us on September 11th, 2001?

The Muslim Brotherhood is at the center of almost everything pertaining to Radical Islam today. You must remember that the Muslim Brotherhood spawned off from the Ottoman Empire, which pushed for its own Global Caliphate in the past. It was the Ottoman Empire, which was centered in Turkey, that killed over one million Armenians in the early 20th century, not because they were Armenians, but because they were Christians.

One thing I want to make clear is that Islam it's self is not bad. Islam itself does not call for the killing of innocents. The problem lies in the radical extremists in Islam that misinterpret the Qur'an. If certain Christians were committing terrorist acts around the world we would call them Radical Christians, or Jews would be called Radical Jews, ect...

As for a man like Osama bin Laden, it is important for us to always remember the chaos that one man can create. This man was educated, from an early age, by the Muslim Brotherhood. I could not find any direct ties that connected him to the Brotherhood, but keep in mind that it would go against their teachings to take the kind of open action that bin Laden took. The Muslim Brotherhood prefers to stay as much in the shadows as possible, so having a lone figure act out this way would put their narrative in jeopardy. Also know that during bin Laden's time of chaos he used one particular media outlet to promote all his videos and information. That media station was Al Jezeera. That's right, the same Al Jezeera that Global Warming enthusiast Al Gore just sold his TV station rights to. The one man in America that is known for all his anti big oil and global warming rhetoric just sold his station to a media organization that not only promotes the work of Islamic Radicals, but which is owned primarily by big oil in Saudi Arabia. Anyone else see the irony there. Radical Islam will now have a dedicated news station in the homes of every American that pays for broadcast television. I guess MSNBC just wasn't enough when it comes to spewing political correctness and down playing the role of Radicals in the Islamic world.

It's not the language that we use in regards to these people that cause us harm, it's the people involved in carrying out these evil attacks that we should be worried about. These people are tied to Radical Islam, and Al Qaeda, and Hamas, and Hezbollah, and the Muslim Brotherhood. These groups are not interested in peace. They don't care about your political correctness. They don't want to have a beer with you or have you babysit their children. They want you to do one thing, die. They won't hear your cries for help. They aren't interested in your notion of appeasement. All they want is death of all infidels, all people who do not believe in their prophet, and they will not stop until one side or the other is eliminated. They do not care who our president is. To them President Obama is nothing more than a pawn, which is probably why so many leaders of these groups all but endorsed Obama in the last election. They understand something that the uninformed people of our nation do not. They understand that Obama's lazy “wait and see” policy is all they need to continue their push for a Global Caliphate. Because while we “wait and see” when the next attack will take place, they are growing in numbers and growing in strength across northern Africa and the Middle East.

If the Muslim Brotherhood succeeds in taking over Syria and Jordan, they will have Israel completely surrounded. If Israel falls, what's to stop them from pushing into Europe? We have to wake up America. This problem is not going to just go away. I have said so many times that history is our best teacher. If you want to know what's going to happen next, you only have to open a history book. Radical Islam is waging war across the world, just like the Nazis did during World War II. If you remember from your history books, the world originally dismissed Adolf Hitler. How long will we dismiss Radical Islamic leaders, before we realize that we can't underestimate them and survive?

I recently brought you an article comparing the Communist Agenda to the agenda of the Progressives in this country. The Communist Agenda that I explained to you was entered into Congressional Records in 1963 and was based on the Communist Manifesto outline in the book The Naked Communist by Cleon Skousen. I have begun work on a new article about Radical Islam and its effect on our nation. The story is going to be detailed and long. Before I release this article, it is important for you to know a little background on the plans of the Muslim Brotherhood, because they are tied to everything from the current takeover of Arab nations to the political correctness in our own country in regards to Radical Islam.

The document that I provide to you below was presented to our government during the Holy Land Foundation Trial in 2007. This document was found in the home of a senior Muslim Brotherhood financier's home in Switzerland during a raid by Swiss police in November 2001. The document was written in 1982 and serves as basically a Manifesto for the Muslim Brotherhood. I understand that it is a lot of information, but when you understand what the goal of the Muslim Brotherhood is, you'll begin to expose the lies in what we are currently being told by the media, this administration, and many leaders world wide.

Towards a worldwide strategy for Islamic policy

(Points of Departure, Elements, Procedures and Missions)

This report presents a global vision of a worldwide strategy for Islamic policy [or "political Islam"]. Local Islamic policies will be drawn up in the different regions in accordance with its guidelines. It acts, first of all, to define the points of departure of that policy, then to set up the components and the most important procedures linked to each point of departure; finally we suggest several missions, by way of example only, may Allah protect us.

The following are the principal points of departure of this policy:

Point of Departure 1:To know the terrain and adopt a scientific methodology for its planning and execution.

Point of Departure 2:To demonstrate proof of the serious nature of the work.

Point of Departure 3:To reconcile international engagement with flexibility at a local level.

Point of Departure 4:To reconcile political engagement and the necessity of avoiding isolation on one hand, with permanent education and institutional action on the other.

Point of Departure 5:To be used to establish an Islamic State; parallel, progressive efforts targeted at controlling the local centers of power through institutional action.

Point of Departure 6:To work with loyalty alongside Islamic groups and institutions in multiple areas to agree on common ground, in order to "cooperate on the points of agreement and set aside the points of disagreement".

Point of Departure 7:To accept the principle of temporary cooperation between Islamic movements and nationalist movements in the broad sphere and on common ground such as the struggle against colonialism, preaching and the Jewish state, without however having to form alliances. This will require, on the other hand, limited contacts between certain leaders, on a case by case basis, as long as these contacts do not violate the [shari’a] law. Nevertheless, one must not give them allegiance or take them into confidence, bearing in mind that the Islamic movement must be the origin of the initiatives and orientations taken.

Point of Departure 8:To master the art of the possible on a temporary basis without abusing the basic principles, bearing in mind that Allah's teachings always apply. One must order the suitable and forbid that which is not, always providing a documented opinion. But we should not look for confrontation with our adversaries, at the local or the global scale, which would be disproportionate and could lead to

attacks against the dawa or its disciples.

Point of Departure 9:To construct a permanent force of the Islamic dawa and support movements engaged in jihad across the Muslim world, to varying degrees and insofar as possible.

Point of Departure 10:To use diverse and varied surveillance systems, in several places, to gather information and adopt a single effective warning system serving the worldwide Islamic movement. In fact, surveillance, policy decisions and effective communications complement each other.

Point of Departure 11:To adopt the Palestinian cause as part of a worldwide Islamic plan, with the policy plan and by means of jihad, since it acts as the keystone of the renaissance of the Arab world today.

Point of Departure 12:To know how to turn to self-criticism and permanent evaluation of worldwide Islamic policy and its objectives, of its content and its procedures, in order to improve it. This is a duty and a necessity according to the precepts of shari’a.

THE FIRST POINT OF DEPARTURE

Know the terrain and adopt a scientific methodology for [The Project's] planning and execution.

Elements:

Know the influential factors in the world, whether they act as Islamic forces, adverse forces, or neutral forces. Use the necessary scientific and technical means for planning, organization, execution and follow-up.

Procedures:

Create observation centers in order to gather and store information for all useful purposes, if need be relying on modern technological methods. Create centers of study and research and produce studies on the political dimension of the Islamic movement.

Suggested Missions:

Draw up a map of [religious and ideological] doctrines in the world to have a global vision from 100 years ago to our era, and analyze the current situation in light of that configuration, taking account of changes both happening and predicted.

Draw up a map of doctrines of the Muslim world.

Draw up a map of Islamic movements in the Muslim world.

Carry out successive political and scientific studies in varying Islamic areas, those which apply more particularly to current events.

Carry out a scientific study which addresses the history of contemporary Islamic movements, and use it.

THE SECOND POINT OF DEPARTURE

To demonstrate proof of the serious nature of the work.

Elements:

Clarity of the principal objectives of the dawa in the eyes of all, as well as clarity of the temporary objectives, necessitates exploitation, channeling and orientation of the energies.

Devote sufficient effort to the service of the workers [for Allah] and coordinate their efforts to the sole and same objective.

Devote sufficient time.

Spend money to the extent possible.

Procedures:

Exploit all the energies of the workers to the service of the dawa, each at his level (the criterion of efficiency, given that each must be devoted to the task to which he's assigned).

Mobilize the greatest possible number of supporters and officials.

Collect money efficiently, control expenses and invest in the general interest.

Suggested Missions:

Carry out a survey of workers (appropriate men and appropriate location)

Establish schedules with the hours of workers and specialists and use their efforts with good judgment and on time (appropriate effort at the right time). An engagement with economic institutions adequate to support the cause financially.

THE THIRD POINT OF DEPARTURE

Reconcile international engagement with flexibility at the local level.

Elements:

To define the guidelines that everyone [worldwide] must follow.

To leave a margin that provides sufficient flexibility at the local level for the issues that do not conflict with the general lines of the global Islamic policy.

Procedures:

The Movement, at a global level, will define the Islamic domain and issues in a general way which will require the engagement of all according to previously defined priorities.

The local leadership will define local issues that come within their prerogative, according to the principle of flexibility and according to previously defined priorities.

Suggested Missions:

Worldwide Islamic engagement for a total liberation of Palestine and the creation of an Islamic state is the mission which falls to the global leadership.

To establish a dialogue at a local level with those who work for the cause according to the global political lines of the Movement. It is up to the local leadership to define the shape of that dialogue.

THE FOURTH POINT OF DEPARTURE

To reconcile political engagement with the necessity of avoiding isolation, on the one hand, with permanent education and institutional work on the other.

Elements:

Liberty to function politically in each country according to local circumstances, without however participating in a process which makes a decision which would be contrary to the texts of Shari’a.

To invite everyone to take part in parliament, municipal councils, labor unions and other institutions of which the membership is chosen by the people in the interest of Islam and of Muslims.

To continue to educate individuals and generations and to guarantee the training of specialists in various areas according to a previously designed plan.

To construct social, economic, scientific and health institutions and penetrate the domain of the social services, in order to be in contact with the people and to serve them by means of Islamic institutions.

Procedures:

To study the varied political environments and the probabilities of success in each country.

To plan specialized study missions which will concentrate on useful areas such as communications, the history of Islam, etc.

To conduct feasibility studies concerning various institutions and create them according to priorities established in each country.

Suggested Missions:

To conduct studies relating to the experiences of political Islam and to draw lessons from them.

To give an Islamic policy perspective on the pressing questions of the day.

To keep questions of local importance such as issues concerning workers, unions, etc. within an Islamic framework.

To create a certain number of economic, social, health care and educational institutions, using available means, to serve the people within an Islamic framework.

THE FIFTH POINT OF DEPARTURE

To dedicate ourselves to the establishment of an Islamic state, in parallel with gradual efforts aimed at gaining control of local power centers through institutional action.

Elements:

To channel thought, education and action in order to establish an Islamic power [government] on the earth.

To influence centers of power both local and worldwide to the service of Islam.

Procedures:

To prepare a scientific study on the possibility of establishing the reign of God throughout the world according to established priorities.

To study the centers of power, both local and worldwide, and the possibilities of placing them under influence.

To conduct a modern study on the concept of support for the dawa and Islamic law, and more particularly on the men of influence in the State and the country.

Suggested Mission:

To draw up an Islamic Constitution in light of efforts deployed up to now.

To draw up Islamic laws, civil laws, etc.

To work within various influential institutions and use them in the service of Islam.

To use the work of economic, social, and other specialized Islamic institutions.

THE SIXTH POINT OF DEPARTURE

To loyally work alongside Islamic groups and institutions in various areas and in agreement on a common ground in order to "cooperate on points of agreement and put aside points of disagreement."

Elements:

To coordinate the Islamic work in a single direction as will permit the laying of the foundations of the growth of Muslim society and dedication to the power of God on Earth.

For each to work according to his capacities in his chosen field and to master it, with loyalty and coordination of effort.

Procedures:

To study the true nature of Islamic movements, to evaluate their experiences and draw up plans to initiate collaboration among them.

To avoid creating new Islamic movements in a country which already has one; there will be but one movement, serious and complete.

Suggested Missions:

To coordinate the efforts of all those working for Islam, in each country, and to establish good contact with them, whether they work in individuals or in groups.

To reduce the differences that exists between workers for Islam and to resolve their conflicts according to shari’a.

THE SEVENTH POINT OF DEPARTURE

To accept the principle of temporary cooperation between Islamic movements and nationalist movements in the broad sphere and on common ground such as the struggle against colonialism, preaching and the Jewish state, without however having to form alliances. This will require, on the other hand, limited contacts between certain leaders, on a case by case basis, as long as these contacts do not violate the [shari’a] law. Nevertheless, one must not give them allegiance or take them into confidence, bearing in mind that the Islamic movement must be the origin of the initiatives and orientations taken.

Elements:

To combine all efforts against the supreme forces of evil in accordance with the principle that one must “battle one evil with a lesser evil”.To limit the collaboration to the leadership or to a limited number of individuals in order to maximize the benefit and minimize the possible drawbacks.

To work from perspective of the objectives previously defined for the dawa.

Procedures:

To make a study to evaluate the areas with the object of mutual assistance between Islamic and other movements and draw lessons from it.

To study the areas which allow cooperation, and define the boundaries.

To study the philosophy and plans of other movements.

Suggested Missions:

Each country should study the possibility, in the future, of strengthening internal collaboration.

THE EIGHTH POINT OF DEPARTURE

To master the art of the possible on a temporary basis without abusing the basic principles, bearing in mind that Allah's teachings always apply. To give a documented and scientific view, in the form of speeches, communiqués and books, that bears on events important to the Ummah.

To avoid the Movement hurting itself with major confrontations, which could encourage its adversaries to give it a fatal blow.

Procedures:

To carry out a study to evaluate the experiences of Islamist movements in order to avoid their fatal errors.

To develop educational methods that are at the same time exemplary, realistic and true to our principles, in order to bestow a flexibility sufficient to permit the facing of reality.

Suggested Missions:

To develop initiation programs for the faithful and proceed with sensitivity to the foundation of past experience.

To prepare individuals according to modern educational methods.

THE NINTH POINT OF DEPARTURE

To construct a permanent force of the Islamic dawa and support movements engaged in jihad across the Muslim world, to varying degrees and insofar as possible.

Elements:

To protect the dawa with the force necessary to guarantee its security at the local and international levels.

To make contact with all new movements engaged in jihad, everywhere on the planet, and with Muslim minorities, and to create links as needed to establish and support collaboration.

To maintain jihad and awakening throughout the Ummah.

Procedures:

To form an autonomous security force to protect the dawa and its disciples locally and worldwide.

To study movements engaged in jihad in the Muslim world, as well as among Muslim minorities, to better understand them.

Suggested Missions:

To build bridges between movements engaged in jihad in the Muslim world, and between Muslim minorities, and to support them insofar as possible within a framework of collaboration.

THE TENTH POINT OF DEPARTURE

To use diverse and varied surveillance systems, in several places, to gather information and adopt a single effective warning system serving the worldwide Islamic movement. In fact, surveillance, policy decisions and effective communications complement each other.

Elements:

To make the policy decisions to collect important and precise information.

To diffuse Islamic policy so that it is largely and efficiently covered by the media.

Procedures:

To create a modern surveillance system by means of advanced technology (possibly created at the research centers mentioned earlier).

To create an effective and serious media centre.

Suggested Missions:

To warn Muslims of the dangers that threaten them and the international conspiracies directed at them.

To give our views on current events and future issues.

THE ELEVENTH POINT OF DEPARTURE

To adopt the Palestinian cause as part of a worldwide Islamic plan, with the policy plan and by means of jihad, since it acts as the keystone of the renaissance of the Arab world today.

Elements:

To provide an Islamic view on all areas, problems and solutions relative to the Palestinian question, based on the precepts of Islam.

To prepare the community of believers for jihad for the liberation of Palestine. [One can lead the Ummah to realize the plans of the Islamic movement above all if victory is ours], if God wills it.

To create a modest nucleus of jihad in Palestine, and to nourish it in order to maintain the flame that will light the road toward the liberation of Palestine, and in order that the Palestinian cause will endure until the moment of liberation.

Procedures:

To collect sufficient funds for the perpetuation of jihad.

To conduct a study of the situation of Muslims and the enemy in occupied Palestine.

Suggested Missions:

To conduct studies on the Jews, enemies of Muslims, and on the oppression inflicted by these enemies on our brothers in occupied Palestine, in addition to preaching and publications.

To fight against the sentiment of capitulation among the Ummah, to refuse defeatist solutions, and to show that conciliation with the Jews will undermine our Movement and its history.

To conduct comparative studies on the Crusades and Israel, and [the victory that will be that of Islam].

To create jihadi cells in Palestine, and support them in order that they cover all of occupied Palestine.

To create a link between the moujahadin in Palestine and those throughout the Islamic world.

To nourish a sentiment of rancor with respect to the Jews and refuse all coexistence.

THE TWELFTH POINT OF DEPARTURE

To know how to turn to self-criticism and permanent evaluation of worldwide Islamic policy and its objectives, of its content and its procedures in order to improve it. This is a duty and a necessity according to the precepts of shari’a.

Elements:

To conduct constructive self-criticism, in order to avoid pitfalls.

To proceed with constant evaluation, on a scientific basis, to permit the further construction of policies.

To improve Islamic policies and to take profit from past experiences must be a clear and essential objective.

Procedures:

To evaluate current practices and profit from past experience.

To ask officials in the various countries to give their views on direction, methods and results.

Suggested Missions:

To produce an official document on global Islamic policy.

To make the countries, the officials and the people aware of that policy.

To begin to apply the policy, to evaluate it annually and to improve it if need be.

Common Core

I hope that you have enjoyed my other articles, but I must say that this article needs circulation even if you don't read any other article from The Sounding Board.

I've spent the last several weeks looking at various outlets regarding the effects that Common Core will have on the choice that you have to home school your children or enroll them in a public or private schools. Home schooling may not be of interest to you, it may not appeal to you right now, or it may not be something that you can afford to do now or in the future. With that being said, there are several things going on within the Government, the Teacher’s Unions and the Public School System that you and every other citizen need to know, regardless of your schooling choice or political affiliation. This is not a partisan issue. This is an issue that affects your family and the family of millions of Americans.

Common Core and CSCOPE are terms that you need to become familiar with if you have children or plan on having children in the public school system. Both of these terms are the names for a new curriculum frame work that was never passed through the Senate or Congress, but was funded and developed by newly minted departments like the National Governors Association and the Council of Chief State School Officers in order to standardize the curriculum of the entire nation. I’m not talking about benchmarks or yearly testing; I mean national curriculum. Keep that in mind, the people that we voted into office to represent us never voted on this process that will affect our citizenry. Information on these programs recently became public knowledge because a gag order was lifted. In Texas, the teachers were not allowed to disclose what they were teaching to the parents under penalty of civil and criminal charges. I hope that sounds as ridiculous to you as it does to me.

Before I go further I want to give you a couple examples of what this new curriculum contains:

To note just how off-color some of the CSCOPE curriculum is, consider that the Texas CSCOPE Review, an independent watchdog group, uncovered an out-of-date, optional CSCOPE lesson-plan on terrorism. “World History Unit 12 Lesson 07,″ which allegedly likens the Boston Tea Party to “an act of terrorism.”

The system also recently asked students to design a flag for a new socialist nation.

I can’t encourage you enough to look into this for yourself. Don’t just take me at my word, but make sure that you know what is happening in your child’s school. I'm honestly hoping that someone can prove me wrong here. This is a nation-wide push and is the most serious decision facing the education of our children today.

When I first heard the term Common Core I had no idea what it was, so I looked it up online. I initially found that they were standards for each grade that would be consistent across a number of states. Immediately I read between the lines and saw yet another example of Collectivism. If you haven't read my pieces on the Collectivist Ideology I ask that you go back to my archive and check them out.

Common Core is described as:

"Higher standards, internationally bench-marked, state-led, and inclusive of parent and teacher in-put."

If you don't understand the dangers of a collectivist mentality then this doesn't really sound like a bad idea, but you have to ask yourself, "why am I just hearing about this?" Did any of you attend the parent in-put meeting or fill out the questionnaire or hear about the vote in your legislature regarding the implementation of Common Core? Who exactly helped write the standards? I assume they're at least American. In consideration of the decades of disagreement on education trends that this nation has had regarding education, how in the world did so many states settle all their differences enough to agree on the same standards? I'm sure it took years, so how could I just be hearing about this?

This next quote is from an article called "Education Without Representation: A Mother Speaks Out." After reading multiple articles on Common Core, this mother explains some things she learned:

I learned that most other parents didn't know what the Common Core was either.

I learned that the standards were state accepted, but definitely not 'state led.'

I learned that there was NO public input before the standards were adopted. State-level decision makers had very little time themselves and had to agree to them in principle as the actual standards were not yet complete.

I learned that the only content experts on the panel to review the standards had refused to sign off on them, and why they thought the standards were flawed.

I learned that much of the specific standards are not supported by research but are considered experimental.

I learned that in addition to national standards we agreed to new national tests that are funded and controlled by the federal government.

I learned that in my state, a portion of teacher pay is dependent on student test performance.

I learned that not only test scores, but additional personal information about my children and our family would be tracked in a state-wide data collection project for the express purpose of making decisions about their educational path and 'aligning' them with the workforce.

I learned that there are fields for tracking home-schooled children in this database too.

I learned that my parental rights to deny the collection of this data or restrict who has access to it have been changed at the federal level through executive regulation, not the legislative process."

The following is from an article by The Blaze: CSCOPE: Exposing the Nation’s Most Controversial Public School Curriculum System:

“This approach not only complicates the simplest of math problems; it also leads to delays. Under the Common Core Standards, students will not learn traditional methods of adding and subtracting double and triple digit numbers until fourth grade. (Currently, most schools teach these skills two years earlier.) The standard method for two and three digit multiplication is delayed until fifth grade; the standard method for long division until sixth. In the meantime, the students learn alternative strategies that are far less efficient, but that presumably help them 'understand' the conceptual underpinnings.”

This is an excerpt from an article by The Atlantic: A New Kind of Problem: The Common Core Math Standards:

“English professor Mary Grabar describes Common Core training exercises that tell teachers 'to read Lincoln’s Gettysburg Address without emotion and without providing any historical context. Common Core reduces all texts to one level: the Gettysburg Address to the EPA’s Recommended Levels of Insulation. Indeed, in my own research, I found one Common Core 'exemplar' on teaching the Gettysburg Address that instructs educators to refrain from giving background context or substantial instructional guidance at the outset."

This is from Michelle Malkin Rotten To The Core: Readin’ Writing’ and Deconstructionism:

“The Common Core, a list of what K-12 kids must know in Math and English, is a decades-long project of big business and educrats that essentially nationalizes education. It is now reshaping nearly every textbook, replacing nearly all state tests, overhauling U.S. teacher training, providing the basis to measure teachers, and creating nationwide databases for student grades, behavior, and more. It bewitches basically everything but lunch."

Have you heard any of this? I know I hadn't. That’s because, unlike when states wrote standards themselves, it was spawned by nonprofits whose meetings and documents are closed to the public, despite substantial state and federal funding. Members of Indiana’s Senate Education Committee said they did not hear about the Core until well after the state Board of Education passed it. How is this acceptable? How have we come to this point as a nation, were we are totally blind to the actions of our government? We have forgotten that public officials work for us, not the other way around.

Try this one on from The Indy Star Why Indiana Should Delay The Common Core:

"What is stunning is that the 9 standards that follow are a part of the 88 fundamentals of American history that will be tested. As you read what has been determined as mastery based American history, ask yourself, are these fundamental, factual, unbiased, politically correct, or indoctrinating?"

•Describe the attempts to promote international justice

•Analyze the major factors that drove United States imperialism

•Analyze the effects of domestic terrorism on the American people

•Examine the controversy surrounding the proliferation of nuclear technology in the United States

•Assess key figures and organizations in shaping the Black Power Movement

•Analyze significant Supreme Court decisions relating to reproductive rights

•Describe efforts by the United States and other world powers to avoid future wars

•Examine the failure of the United States to support the League of Nations

•Discuss the economic outcomes of demobilization

My friends, these are our children, and their education should always be our choice. No government official or special interest group should be allowed to dictate anything in regards to our children without our consent.

The more information that I come across in regards to Common Core, the more convinced I become of the negative effect that this program will have, not just to our children and our educational system, but to our nation as a whole.

One concern I had was how this would affect parents with kids that are home schooled. With Common Core being introduced into the public school system I wanted to know if home schooled children would be negatively affected. Here's some information that I found.

The Common Core program is being adopted by 45 of the 50 states, including the District of Columbia, and it’s goal is not educational excellence. The standards and examples that I gave you earlier should confirm that. The goal of Common Core is control. The government is seeking to Nationalize educational standards, which goes completely against the 10th Amendment of the Constitution:

"The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people."

The 10th amendment outlines education as being within the scope of the State government, not the Federal government. So under this amendment it is well within the rights of each state to simply reject Common Core if it chooses. Unfortunately it's not that simple. If a state decides not to adopt Common Core, they will not be granted federal funding. So while it’s not a government mandate to implement these standards, a mob like version of law takes action through a sort of monetary coercion.

As for home schoolers, they will eventually need to meet the same educational standards and use Common Core approved curriculum because the SATs, State tests and GEDs will all be modified to fit the new Common Core standards.

Although it’s true that home schoolers traditionally, on average, test significantly higher than their publicly educated peers, this is not a safeguard given what is coming down the pipeline in terms of change. Standardized testing is slated to be reformatted and rewritten, so we’re talking about a totally different measure of scope and sequence. Let's take math problems for example. Math problems formed by Common Core are based on mental and verbal math; the emphasis is now on the process, not the answer. Eventually, Common Core educated students will be asked to verbally explain their method for solving the problem, regardless of whether or not the answer was correct. So what does this mean? It means that if your home schooled senior can successfully complete complex mathematical algorithms but is unable to explain how they got the answer in alignment with Common Core standards, they will not pass.

Here's an example of the differences between the standards I grew up with for solving a simple math equation and the new Common Core standards:

29+17=46

Simple problem right? Pretty basic, no real explanation needed. Now lets look at how Common Core expects you to be able to solve this problem:

29+17=46

(20+9)+(10+7)=(30+16)=[30+(10+6)]=(40+6)=46

Notice the extremities one must take in order to show their work for this very basic, very simple, math problem. My greatest concern is understanding this extent of work that needs to be taken when trying to help my child with their homework, regardless of my child being home schooled or in public school. I'm afraid that this will make me look foolish when trying to assist my children, thus solidifying Woodrow Wilson's quote:

"The purpose of a university should be to make a son as unlike his father as possible."

Unfortunately its not just the math requirements that are being affected. The literature requirements are changing significantly. Non-fiction manuals are now required to compose 70% of your child’s “literature” by the time they graduate. Here are some examples of the suggested reading within Common Core:

As educational and enlightening as these documents might be, we’ll be removing many of the traditional classics and replacing them with dramatic pieces like “The Evolution Of The Grocery Bag”. Therefore, as a home schooler, if you haven’t been reading the above list by the time you're a senior, you're might have no hope of passing the SATs or GEDs, because we’re talking about two completely different lists of topics and material.

As a home schooler, you get to choose your own curriculum, so it’s your decision what your children will read and study. For now this remains true. However, you might find it a bit frustrating to learn that many large home school publishers have already began to, or are planning to, rewrite their curriculum in order to meet Common Core standards.

One thing I came across on some forums were parents saying that their home school curriculum does align with the Common Core Standards, it’s great material and it really works for their family. Ultimately this is a personal decision. I've read that approximately only 30% of the material that most home schooling parents currently use for their children is listed as being explicitly aligned with Common Core. Some families are standing up to this through the free market system. Here's a quote from a concerned mother:

"I will be sad to switch many of our books out for next year, but I, PERSONALLY, cannot in good conscience grant business or endorsement to those companies that have explicitly aligned themselves with anti-Constitutional ideology. Our family is choosing to make this sacrifice, as disheartening as it is, based solely on principle. In all honesty, at the early elementary levels in our math and phonics (the two core subjects in which we use CC material, unknowingly) I don’t see a huge red flag, but I can definitely see a slow change in the method of thinking that those books are seeking to shape in my children. I can see the framework in the methodology that is being laid now in preparation for five or six years down the road."

I know that many of you out there like to stay away from politics, but we no longer have that luxury. This is a very political move and this is not something that we should simply sit back and just let happen. Home schooling is legal in all 50 states. There is no logical or logistical way that we would all conform to the same curriculum. It’s true that it’s not logical, but there’s more to Common Core than meets the eye. Remember, the goal is not about streamlining or fairness. It’s about Control. Please realize that this current administration does not look favorably on home schoolers.

A very recent example of this is a German family that was granted political asylum because they wanted to home school their children but it is outlawed in Germany, based on a law written by Hitler, during Nazi Germany, that was never revoked regarding disposing of minority political and religious groups. They were granted asylum in 2010 by an immigration judge, but most recently, our Department of Homeland Security is taking them back to court to revoke their asylum, stating, that homeschooling is not a fundamental right. Not sure if you caught that, but our government is saying that the choice of how and where to educate our children is no longer our right.

Another example comes from MSNBC's Melissa Harris-Perry. She said during a promo that ran on MSNBC:

"We have never invested as much in public education as we should have because we've always had kind of a private notion of children. Your kid is yours and totally your responsibility. We haven’t had a very collective notion of these are our children. So part of it is we have to break through our kind of private idea that kids belong to their parents or kids belong to their families and recognize that kids belong to whole communities."

Notice the very obvious Collectivist Ideology that is used here. She is simply stating that your children do not belong to you, they belong to the community. This is the exact mentality that I covered in my series on the Collectivist Ideology.

I will leave you with one last quote from Glenn Beck while describing the impact that Common Core has already had on our society:

“It’s already being implemented with Common Core. It’s already been implemented here in Texas with CSCOPE. You don’t have a right to see as a parent what your children are learning. You go to a Texas school and say, 'Let me see the curriculum.' You can’t. 'Let me see that test that you are teaching through CSCOPE.' You can’t. You’re a parent. You don’t have a right to know."

Please, continue to read up on the Common Core Standards and the position that our current administration is taking on education. Even if I am indeed wrong about the effect that Common Core will have on home schoolers, it will without a doubt affect every child in public school. This is just another step in the direction towards a complete collectivist society. When will we all finally step up and say "Enough!"

Boston Marathon Bombing

On September 11th, 2001 I was visiting my Aunt and Uncle in Sacramento, Ca. Every time I visited them my uncle would wake me in the morning by either pounding on the door or pretending to play a military style horn salute. On this particular morning he woke me up by pounding on the door and shouting, "Wake up, America is under attack!" I remember thinking to myself, "Good Lord, just let me sleep." I dragged myself out of bed and walked into his office just in time to see the second plane fly into the towers live. Every single one of us that was alive that day remembers where we were and what we were doing when we got the news. We all have our own story about that day and we will never forget how we felt.

I want to make it very clear that at the moment that I am writing this there has been no concrete evidence of who is involved with carrying out the terrorist attack at the Boston Marathon on April 15th, 2013. No one has taken responsibility or is in custody to our knowledge, but that hasn't stopped people from trying to indirectly pass blame on people. At this point we don't know who could have committed such an evil act of terror. One thing we do know for certain is that whoever did this is evil with serious hatred in their hearts.

I'd like to point out a serious difference between our current president and our previous one. I have pointed out numerous times that President Obama has a very real "Wait & See" policy when it comes to almost anything, both foreign and domestic. We saw it in Egypt and Libya for example. Yesterday's attack is no different. I want to provide you with a couple timelines here:

September 11th, 2001

8:46 am – Mohammed Atta and the other hijackers aboard American Airlines Flight 11 crash the plane into floors 93-99 of the North Tower of the World Trade Center, killing everyone on board and hundreds inside the building.

8:50 am – White House Chief of Staff Andrew Card alerts President George W. Bush that a plane has hit the World Trade Center

9:03 am – Hijackers crash United Airlines Flight 175 into floors 75-85 of the WTC's South Tower, killing everyone on board and hundreds inside the building

9:31 am – Speaking from Florida, President Bush calls the events in New York City an "apparent terrorist attack on our country."

9:37 am – Hijackers aboard Flight 77 crash the plane into the western façade of the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., killing 59 aboard the plane and 125 military and civilian personnel inside the building.

9:59 am – The South Tower of the World Trade Center collapses.

10:07 am – After passengers and crew members aboard the hijacked Flight 93 contact friends and family and learn about the attacks in New York and Washington, they mount an attempt to retake the plane. In response, hijackers deliberately crash the plane into a field in Somerset County, Pennsylvania, killing all 40 passengers and crew aboard.

10:28 am – The World Trade Center's North Tower collapses

8:30 pm – President Bush addresses the nation, calling the attacks "evil, despicable acts of terror" and declaring that America, its friends and allies would "stand together to win the war against terrorism."

Love or hate George W. Bush, I don't care, but notice that 45 minutes after the first plane hit the towers he went on television and addressed the nation stating that it was an "apparent terrorist attack on our country."

Then 11 hours later he again came on television to tell the world that America would "stand together to win the war against terrorism."

Now we don't yet know if this was the act of foreign or domestic terrorism, both are just as likely at this point. One thing remains clear though, our current president has done very little in addressing the nation to show us that we need to stand together in this current crisis.

Now here's a brief timeline of yesterday's events:

April 15th, 2013

2:50 p.m. Two explosions at the finish line of the Boston Marathon resulted in injuries.

4:04 p.m. Boston Marathon organizers stated the explosions were caused by bombs.

6:13 p.m. President Obama: “The American people will say a prayer for Boston tonight, and Michelle and I send out deepest thoughts and prayers to the victims. We will find out who did this and why they did this and we will hold them accountable."

April 16th, 2013

11:30 a.m. -President Obama calls the bombings "act of terror"

Do you see the distinct difference between our the two presidents in these timelines? It took President Bush 45 minutes to label what happened on September 11th, 2001 a "terrorist attack" and less than 12 hours to tell the nation that we will "stand together." It took President Obama 3 hours and 23 minutes to even address the nation and almost 19 hours to use the famous "Act of Terror" line he used after the Libya attack. In the meantime we've had reporters and politicians making statements that only continue the cultural/social division that this administration has carried out for the past four years.

Here's a few examples:

During Monday's Hardball, Chris Matthews briefly alluded to the possibility that Tax Day played a role. In the same hour, he speculated that if the perpetrator was homegrown, they were likely of the "far right" persuasion, and then suggested that maybe the eventually-debunked JFK library fire was the result of anti-Kennedy, anti-Democratic Party sentiment.

I was at Fenway Park w my dad and @mikebarnicle during Waco which was on Patriots Day in 1993. Speculating on possible link.

Bryan Fischer spent the entire 9 p.m. ET hour live-tweeting Hannity's Fox News show, accusing the guests of pussyfooting around what everyone knows must be the truth (despite no one knowing enough facts at this point). His basic message: Bash Islam NOW, you guys!

I'm not sorry for saying this, but this is what happens when your leader does not immediately step in and tell the nation this:

"This is a time when we need to come together. We must put aside our differences because tragic days like today remind us that in the face of evil we are no longer seen as Left or Right, Conservative or Liberal, Man or Woman, Christian or Muslim. Today we are all American and there has been a terrorist attack against Americans. Whether this was a Foreign or Domestic attack is unclear and to speculate either is ignorant and ill advised. Today is not a day to cast blame. We will find out who did this. We will find out why they did it. And we will bring those responsible to justice, together as Americans..."

I know that I might seem bias here, but can I really be blamed for that? We have seen this president stay on the sidelines so many times in the case of this kind of violence. We have heard people from this administration make comments such as "We should not let a good crisis go to waste..." How can I not come to this conclusion? How can I not expect the same old rhetoric from this president and his administration?

There are extremists in every single group or organization. If this latest attack was carried out by a Tea Party member, or a Muslim, or Christian, or a Left/Right Wing nut job remains unclear and irrelevant. This attack was carried out by an individual or individuals that have hate and evil in their hearts. Yet again though, our leaders and our media is striking hard without any solid facts in order to push their narrative. Do you think for one second that MSNBC isn't hoping that this is some Right Wing, Tea Party, Gun Loving Nut job that carried out this attack? Or that Fox News isn't hoping that this is some Left Wing, God hating, Abortion loving lunatic? Enough is enough!

I ask you all now to pray for the victims of yesterdays attack, and if you are not a person of faith, I ask that you send them your love. This is not the time to be politically correct or bias. This is a time to remember that we are all in this together, we are all Americans, and we stand or fall together.

Collectivist Ideology Part 5: Series Wrap Up

I have brought to you an in depth look into issues that directly effect the moral fabric of our society. The way we value human life goes far beyond Abortion or Eugenics or even a person like Margaret Sanger. When we focus on people as a group in our social structure, we forget about the individuals within those groups. This article is meant to be a sort of wrap up of the 4 topics we discussed in regards to this issue, which are loosely tied together. Our last report on individualism vs. collectivism was a heavy one, and I couldn't really hit each point in depth because it would have taken forever to discuss and I have no intentions of boring you with long articles, even though my Planned Parenthood was a long read. Nonetheless, I hope it was a pretty good cover of the topic.

Individualism is at the heart of being a conservative, libertarian, and really the heart of what America was founded on. We are indeed a nation and it is true that in some cases our fates are tied together, but we are a nation of individuals, and that’s really what individualism is. Those two opposing concepts, individualism and collectivism, can really be described as an ideology that determines how people are treated, not necessarily in individual relationships, but in the relationship between the government and its citizenry. Simply put, they are two different views on how the government should treat the governed, and what the purpose of the government is. As a quick recap from my last article, individualism considers the government as the protector of individual rights to be enjoyed responsibly by the individual. This is the framework for a true Republic where the peoples rights and freedoms are what builds a nation. Collectivism demands that the government treat us all as one single group and its aim is the achievement of an indefinable moral good. But my question is this, how can a government of 550 individuals define what is morally good for a nation of over 300 million when they view the latter as a single group with no distinct individual characteristics. Just as important is how often are these representatives actually listening to the people that live within their states and districts. If we elect a person to represent our ideals then they must do just that. If a member of congress is elected by only 60% of the people in their district, they must in turn understand that 40% of the individuals residing in that district don't agree with their stance on some issues and they must represent accordingly. I understand that they were elected by the majority, but supporting only those that support you in turn groups the entire population into a collective group.

One thing I did not get into enough was where you can see this in current laws and current culture in America. The healthcare law is one of the biggest examples of collectivism. In order to achieve the greater good of everyone having healthcare, we are now all treated as one big group. The freedom for me to choose whether or not I have health care is now gone, I will no longer have that choice without penalty or tax or whatever the hell they're calling it today. Also take note that the freedom for the insurance company to decide what they offer has been removed and replaced by government guidelines and standards, which ruins the free market in this area. Instead of simply giving people more options to choose from and allowing us to make our own decisions, such as allowing health insurance across state lines, health savings accounts, doctor level health care groups, etc, we will now be told what to do and we will be forced to bow down to new government regulations.

Gun control is another perfect example. The absolute tragedy of the mass killings over the past few years have supposedly pushed the president and congress to the point where they have to act. This ruse aside, one of our Constitutionally protected rights will be regulated and restricted in order to achieve the moral good of protecting our children. We are all treated as one and will be governed as one rather than protecting our rights as individuals.

Social Security is another example. You don’t have a choice in the matter, you have to pay into it. Is that freedom? The rules regarding it, because the government is involved, are the same for everyone, and yet is everyone’s life the same at that age? We are treated as one single group, forced into it, and given very little choice as to how it is administered and received later in life. Many of us have been paying into this program our entire lives and don't know any different. Know that our children, and their children, will experience the same thing with Obamacare.

One of the most recognizable, and quite possibly the worst uses of the collective ideology is in the practice of Eugenics. Eugenics was the thought that we needed to protect the quality and purity of our genes in this nation and so those who were deemed unfit should be removed from the gene pool. We are treated as a group from the top down, and it’s to achieve the moral "good" of perfecting the human race through social engineering. The argument on the eugenics side was very easy, and when worded the right way is easy to fall into as well.

Try this on for a well orchestrated ad campaign:

“There is so much suffering in this world. Natural disasters like tsunamis and earthquakes are things we cannot change, but there is incredible heartache that we can affect. Every single day, kids are born into broken families, held by new mothers who neither have the means or ability to properly raise them. Every single day, thousands are born with a handicap, punished with a life of difficulty and struggle with no relief in sight. How many are born to parents who are not mature enough for a child; whose parents rely on medication just to maintain the appearance of a normal life; who have a parent in jail that they will rarely see and possibly follow. This is the suffering that we can change and it is our duty, our moral obligation to do everything we can to remove this suffering where we see it. Take a stand for Eugenics”

Does that sound evil? Not really. Sounds reasonable actually, and it plays on your emotion and a little bit of false logic to grab your attention and heart. It doesn't get into the actual implementation of how to remove that suffering, because that’s where the evil actually is. Eugenics sought to sterilize those who were deemed unfit; to eliminate those that were a burden on society. When I say eliminate, I mean kill. The Nazi movement was influenced heavily by American eugenics, which in turn was influenced almost exclusively by the Fabian Socialists of England. Hitler did not go after the Jewish people from the start, that was much later into his reign. The first people he went after were the sick, the lame, the handicap, the elderly, and the retarded, basically the most vulnerable and weakest among society. Eliminate them to achieve a better human race. Their right to life and to pursue happiness is completely disregarded, they are sacrificed for the overall good because the achievement of a purer and stronger human race, the achievement of a collective moral "good", is more important than their individual life. While this is easy to show with Nazi Germany, it is just as easy with the American eugenics movement. It never reached the same point, but the underpinnings were nearly identical.

This is why the difference between individualism and collectivism is such an important topic to understand. It is very easy to get sucked in to collectivism because the ends of it are always portrayed as good. The means to get to those ends are where the evil truly lies. The phrase "the road to hell is paved with good intentions" is pretty well suited to that. Think of it in eugenics; the ends are to eliminate needless suffering and have a stronger human race. We would all agree that that is a noble end. But how does the eugenicist get there? Kill off and sterilize everyone who is determined to be unworthy or unfit for life. What is often the trick to seeing which of these two ideologies is in play is to look at the means rather than the ends.

Let’s use climate change. We all want to have a healthier, cleaner earth. It’s simple when the ends are described. However, when you get to how those ends are achieved, the left want taxes, severe regulation, laws that tell us all how to live life, smart meters, and in general the government telling everyone what to do. That’s the exact opposite of freedom and tramples on rights all over the place. Where you see the difference between individualism and collectivism is more often in the plan, not usually the goal.

One last example is what Mayor “Nanny” Bloomberg is doing in New York. Mayor Bloomberg who has already cracked down on smoking, junk food, trans fats, salt and super-sized drinks for the greater good, is now embarking on yet another campaign, this time to prevent New Yorkers from going deaf. Health officials are planning a social-media campaign that hopes to limit the volume level at which people can listen to music with headphones on. This is much like his effort to limit prescription drug addiction, by limiting the number of painkillers that local hospitals can prescribe. Under that law, patients can only obtain three days worth of painkillers, and some of the more powerful painkillers are being banned altogether. New York is a prime example of collectivism in action, where the individual is not trusted to make the right choices, so big government will do it for you.

In our third article we used Planned Parenthood to show what the underlying aims of that organization were when it was founded. I put it right after eugenics because Planned Parenthood was really a product of the eugenics movement, a result of action from those who believed in eugenics. It’s one thing to discuss schools of thought and theories, it’s another to actually see them implemented. That’s why we discussed abortion, because it’s important to understand that individual life is precious and should be protected, and the most vulnerable life is the life that is so easily disregarded. The life that cannot defend itself is the life that should be defended the most.

These 4 topics were chosen and pieced together in a series for a very particular reason. Eugenics is the prime example of collectivism, and Planned Parenthood is the most well known and most efficient implementation from the eugenics movement. The eugenics movement here, and especially internationally, preyed on the weakest among us, the ones who had no way to defend their life and liberty. It is my opinion that the unborn baby constitutes those weakest and least able to defend themselves. Understanding these two ideologies and being able to recognize them in laws and arguments is how we ended this series, because if we don’t understand why things happen, then we are clueless as to how to stop or promote those things. The biggest tip that can be given is to not concentrate 100% simply on the goal of a policy, law or argument, but mainly upon how that goal is achieved. Start doing that and you’ll start seeing the difference everywhere and be able to either combat one or promote the other. Open up your eyes and ears, but more importantly, open up your minds.

Thank you for joining me on this journey through the collective ideology. I hope that after reading this series you can find ways in with to defend the rights and liberties that our founding fathers fought for. I do apologize for the length of these articles, but it was necessary to explain the full context of the argument. There will always be people that disagree with you, you will never be able to open the minds of everyone. I have come to accept that I might be labeled as a right wing nut job, or a neo-con, or a racist, or any other name that you can come up with on a daily basis. I know that I am none of these things and that's what matters to me. Stand your ground and never give up hope.
